I was recommended Soundcore VR P10s here, I got them and they’re damn awesome. I would not turn on usb mic with the headset though because the mic for earbuds are not better than the headset mic but the sound is great. The dongle has a pass through that lets you plug your headset in with it, and you can pair the earbuds Bluetooth to your phone, getting the 2.4ghz 30ms delay from the headset and Bluetooth to your phone in case you get a call. They’re damn good tbh, very happy with them considering I hated wearing cans on my head with more wires. https://a.co/d/arQEzia

Power. I don’t play pcvr right now, so I have no experience with that but I think it still allows. If you play plugged in, like myself, it works great.

I use the Sound core VR P10's which are earbuds with a WiFi Dongle that plugs in the USB C port to cure the Bluetooth delay issues. The Dongle has a pass through port so that you can still charge with a battery strap or battery bank while using them which is really handy. Prism XR also do earbuds similar to this. I will sometimes use the built in audio but only when I'm playing games or fitness apps where the sound quality doesn't matter, otherwise I find the built in audio pretty crap and only just sufficient for general use. They absolutely ruin rhythm games or any single player experiences for me and I'm surprised how much praise they are getting here. FWIW I came from the Index before Quest 2 / 3 and the Index just had the best audio solution hands down IMO. Great quality and 0 contact with the ears.

The software allows you to customize what the touch inputs do on the buds themselves and also as long as the ally has a usb c port they should work fine with the In zones. If you’re trying to use Bluetooth with the inzones I wouldn’t recommend that for gaming at all. The latency hit defeats the purpose of these earbuds. That said if they still don’t work for some reason the only other option I’d consider is the steel series ones as they have the best battery life after the inzones and will work with iPhone over Bluetooth. Even if you never play long enough to drain the battery in a single session the extra battery life pays off over time as the capacity diminishes. Last option is the soundcore vr10 pros (I believe that’s the name?) for best budget earbuds.

Had 'em, they"re rather quiet and the dongle died on me, so wasn't impressed.  I reccomend the Transnovo RE1 earbuds on Amazon as they also have the 2.4ghz dongle + bluetooth, sound better and have louder overall output volume at half the price (40 bucks).

Hi earbuds community! First time posting here but been reading a while. Over a year ago I purchased a pair of the Anker Soundcore VR-P10 and I love the flexibility they afford me. The USB-C dongle allows me to connect to my Steam Deck with almost no latency and still charge it a little while I'm gaming, and then switch over to my phone for some Youtube. But I wanted MORE flexibility. I've been looking for a magic technology which seemingly only one outfit has done, but I wondered if anyone else knew of any niches which search engines are seemingly hiding. The earbuds I've found which do what I want are the Genki Waveform wireless earphones. They're a Bluetooth Earbud with, by all reports, "okay" sound but their party trick is the case is also a 2.4GHz transceiver (like my Ankers) which ALSO accepts a 3.5mm to USB-C input! This means gear like my TV, iPod and Blackmagic Atem Mini will be useable all with the same kit! On top of all that, they apparently allow you to connect to a bluetooth device and the case and listen to two audio sources simultaneously, whereas my Ankers while having both connected, give Bluetooth audio prio and mute the 2.4GHz source... So my question is; Are there any alternatives with the same feature set? Or are these totally unique?? Thanks for reading! Oh, here's the link to save you googling: [https://www.genkithings.com/products/waveform](https://www.genkithings.com/products/waveform) EDIT: To be clear, I have some nice over ears and a decent DAC for when I want to listen to music with decent clarity so sound quality doesn't really come into this discussion, just features!

For flight sims and 'regular' VR games I tend to use the built in audio. For racing sims I use soundcore p10 earbuds with 2.4ghz dongle, so I don't get annoyed by the sounds of my FFB wheel.  Neither is ideal. Built in audio doesn't sound very good, earbuds can be a bit too isolating. Floating dmas style headphones are far superior to both

I have a pair of these and they're absolutely fantastic. Another product I recently got is the Wireless IEM Syste from Moukey (https://www.amazon.com/Moukey-Transmitter-Automatic-Monitoring-Performance/dp/B0D7MBVNQC/). They're targeted towards studio monitoring with IEMs but they work great with other headsets as well. Bonus points that they can receive input from a 3.5mm source meaning they don't need to (but can) run off of USB. I'm using them with my Sennheiser HD58X for gaming on my desktop and I can't notice a sound quality difference (though I'm sure one exists) and can't notice any latency.

The VR P10’s are awesome for connecting directly to devices using the dongle. Best low latency you can find apart from a cable. I also have the A40s but most of this year I’ve been on the Oneplus Buds 3. Much better sound imo. But the mic recently took a crap on one of them so I sent them back to Oneplus for them to look them over. They are going to replace them for free once they examine them. I may end up going back to my Space A40s though because the VRP10s connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth, the sound quality is lacking. And they lack some of the features of the A40s. But I will still use the VR P10s for connecting to my tablet using the dongle. I bought them specifically for gaming and the low latency. Not necessarily for the features and sound quality.

Oneplus Buds 3. Soundcore Vrp10 for watching content on my tablet. EarFun 4 air pro on my nightstand for watching content in bed. The Soundcore Vrp10 has a dongle for low latency. They have by far the lowest latency because of the usb c dongle.

I agree. These are a game changer for VR considering audio cues are a big part of it. While they’re not 100% necessary for retro gaming on a portable, they’re definitely convenient as hell and removes any annoying delays.

I use the soundcore VRp10’s on mine and they’ve been pretty nice. I just plug in the usb C dongle on top and the audio hits in real time. The mic is… ok. It does the job, but doesn’t sound amazing. But for $50 it’s hard to beat the convenience of wireless on a handheld device.

After 400 hours I was getting tired of the supplied race music and wanted to play my own. I wanted to use YouTube Music since I have a subscription but the PS5 doesn't support that. After several failed approaches I finally started looking for headphones that supported simultaneous dual input. I settled on these: Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max Wireless Gaming Headset with Microphone for PS5/PS4 Bit of a mouthful but I guess they've re-released it as a few different products with minor adjustments. It comes with a dongle you plug into the PS5 and it's low enough latency that it works with VR. The headphones also support Bluetooth so I pair them with my phone and play music while I'm racing (with the in-game music turned off). The on-headset controls aren't ideal but I picked up a little disc-shaped remote just a couple inches across that uses Bluetooth and has play/pause track prev/next and volume up/down all for Bluetooth. Then the headset has a dial for master volume. They fit over the PSVR2 headset quite well. If I was perfectly happy with the in-game music, however, I would have stuck with my old Gold headset. I honestly didn't find, despite the cost, the Elite headset to fit all that well over the VR headset. Runner up would be the Soundcore P10 VR earbuds though I had a few connectivity issues with it's dongle. The wired ones that come with the headset are, in fact, just fine, as another commenter suggested.

I recently put a lot of thought into this as my J2 has Bluetooth locked down completely, with anything wireless requiring a dongle. There are ~2 reputable models of earbuds that are both wireless and use a dongle - the JBL Quantum TWS, and the Soundcore VR P10 gaming ear buds. I chose 2 pairs of Soundcore buds so that if I ever need to have 1 camera on during conflicting meetings, it doesn’t look suspicious having 2 types of buds in, and I don’t have 2 sets of wires (both with an unused earbud) running down from my ears. The Soundcore buds have been flawless and are exactly what I was looking for. I also use the spacebar “hold to speak” option for slack/teams in meetings

[Anker P10](https://a.co/d/aT7XZpk) [Logitech G Fits](https://a.co/d/5bZf2Jt) I own both of these and use them daily. Have the g fits connected to my work pc as it's mic is better. And use the ankers on my phone, personal pc or Nintendo switch. Really like the Anker dongle pass through option for the switch and that you can buy multiple dongles and choose what to connect to. Sound is subjective and both are relatively inexpensive. Ibwoykd say start here if no other options present themselves. I really wish there was an IEM wireless adapter that used a dongle. Haven't found one yet though. Maybe someone chimes in with a better option and we both upgrade!! Good luck on your hunt.

The soundcore vr p10 are a good wireless earbud choice for a low budget. They are bass heavy, but are immersive. Will need a usb-A to usb-c adapter for the dongle but that is how you get low latency sound vs bluetooth. Think I got mine for $30 refurbed from secondipity but looks like they no longer carry them. About $50 new on amazon. These are also bluetooth btw but may be too bassy for music on your phone so idk... just a lower budget option for you to research. Also consider full size headphones can help hold the headset headband up and keep it stable vs earbuds but earbuds are less cumbersome feeling (lighter and don't trap heat).

they have crap sound - thats the main issue. also if you are "happy" with them you probably dont play longer than 1h at a time on your Quest otherwise you would know that they dont support passthrough charging. never supported, not on the Q2, and definitely not on the Q3. The passthrough charging is capped to 5W via the dongle. And i dont need to repeat what basically any other YT review already said about them.

I would always go for a dedicated TWS like the Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ80, or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4, with the Creative BT-W5 before any of the “gaming earbuds.” Of your list, I’ve either owned or tested many of these and the VR P10 is the best bang for your buck of all of them. The additional dongle feature works very well; I have one for all of my devices, and switching is easy. Sony’s buds do work well with their platform (and the Portal), but they are simply too pricey for the quality of the tuning and feature set. The only other option I would consider is Steelseries, just given the access to a very wide database of EQ profiles; you’ll likely find one that works for you, and Steelseries has done a genuinely decent job at emulating a parametric EQ in their Sonar app.

This is marketing and brand reach doing what it does best. There are plenty of brands doing great things in the market that aren't getting a lot of attention. JLAB's Epic Lab earbuds were fantastic; JBL, Moondrop, Nothing Ear, SoundPeats, numerous other brands tested very well against the top of my list, which consisted of the Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ80, Sennheiser True Wireless Momentum 4, Sony XM5, AirPods Pro, B&W Pi7 S2 and Pi8. I have the AZ100s on the way, and I'm sure they'll occupy one of those top spots. It's important to note, however, that many of these brands do not need to push as many units to remain successful. At the economies of scale companies like Sony, Sennheiser, and Bose are operating at, the investment into their production, distribution, customer service, and operations pipelines is immense. They are likely expecting to sell tens of thousands of units, to the thousands that other brands need to turn a profit. And while you may see those more prolific brands everywhere, don't forget the communities of people on social media platforms that regularly market and recommend the opposing brands. They're not as common, but that's to be expected and will remain that way by nature. In other words, while the popular brands may be ubiquitous, that is by design. It doesn't mean opposing manufacturers are on a downward trajectory. This was the assumption when Jabra cancelled its TWS ANC lineup, and that may have been part of the decision, but Jabra had other, more profitable interests and chose to constrain their business goals around those interests because there was more opportunity there. As someone that's tested dozens of ANC earbuds (and has a wide ranging collection of dedicated, wired IEMs), I have very few biases when it comes to competing brands. If it works well, I'll use the thing. I have no qualms recommending a pair of Soundcore VR P10s, right alongside top-tier TWS sets if I think it fits the individual's use case. Recently, I took a long flight overseas and left all the other major TWS brands behind and took a cheap pair of PortaPros and a $20 pair of Aliexpress stem-style earbuds with me. Everyone else on the plane was wearing AirPods.

I just ordered these from Amazon. I like that they're ANC and that they have a pretty long battery life. The Soundcore VR P10 I had would always die during my longer sessions. These from Iamjoy claim to have 7 hours while I think the P10s were rated for 5 hours but would almost never reach 5 hours. [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQSTX61L?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQSTX61L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) I can update in a day or two when I get them. I am also going on a flight so I can test the ANC quality if you intend to use them outside of gaming.

Thanks to all for the recommendations. I bought two to try, both Soundcore. I got the Space A40 and VR 10s. One is Bluetooth only with ANC, Transparency, etc. The other has a 2.4ghz dongle and USB-C passthrough. Sound quality on the A40s seem better and definitely louder. VR 10s passthrough charging is VERY convenient, less overall volume, but sound great. I notice a slight slight delay using the Space A40s because they are Bluetooth only. There is zero delay with the VR 10s. I will probably keep the VR10s, but I will keep testing them :).

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

Anker soundcore. They’re brilliant for the money. You don’t even need to spend £40. £15/20 and you’ll get a perfectly good pair

I've had a pair of Soundcore (Anker brand, I believe) for several years now and have upgraded with other Soundcores since. All of them still work well and I rotate them as they need charging. I only bought multiple because I tend to be hard on my earbuds (working out, jogging, even sleeping) but they've held up longer than I expected.

I was using some Anker Soundcore earbuds but they started connecting while inside the case. Now I'm using Nothing Ear (a) and enjoying them.

Have a look at Anker Soundcore. I have their buds and they are quite good for what I paid. They also do over ear with active nose cancelling and transparency mode

You guys gotta try earbuds from Soundcore by Anker. Best budget buds I've tried and it performs really well, and has a great sound. Great equaliser too.

If you're on iOS & Apple ecosystem, I love my airpods. But if you're price conscious or don't care about integration features, Anker/SoundCore has always been reliable for me.

I bought some random ones off Amazon based on the reviews. They were only £25 so thought I’d take a punt on them not really expecting them to be as good as people were saying. I also have a pair of Anker Soundcore but find the bass too light. Anyway, they are called Btootos and they are absolutely excellent for the money. They are almost as good as AirPods in terms of sound quality. Not quite but for the money I really don’t think it’s worth paying extra for the AirPods, the difference isn’t that big

Buy Anker soundcore buds, they’re available on Lazada. Fraction of the price, just as good, available in white. Very well reviewed and when you inevitably lose one of both or them it’s not the trauma losing an Apple EarPod is.

Same. No complaints at all. More importantly they fit and stick in my ears which EarPods shaped buds don’t.

Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..

My Anker soundcores ($50 miracles) were rock solid until December. Now they cut out all the time at the gym in the high quality mode when it gets busy. It matched the December update and when I started to see the new Apple headset marshmallows show up. Could be Apple interference or Google Standard bluetooth incompetence at this point. Very annoying.
