I using airpods gen 4 non anc. I can say its okay but im planning to buy sony linksbuds S. so i can use easily for multiple devices connected
I have the regular series 4. I use them everyday, though I would have liked to have gotten the pro2 on sale simply for its hearing aid feature
I just use Soundpeats GoFree2, which is an open earbud with an ear hook. I loved Airpods until the new design just keeps falling off my ears, and I can’t deal with buds due to sensitive ears. I also tried Shokz but had to return it since it didn’t sound right to me.
The pro 2s didn’t fit me at all but both the pro 3s and the regular 4s are very comfortable. The pro 3s are the best headphones I’ve ever owned.
I've used 1st gen Airpods since I got them like 5 years ago and they don't have ANC and they are the best earphones I've ever used. $89 for non-ANC Airpods 4. If these are your first Airpods I recommend just go with the $89 ones. I assume 4th gen Airpods are much better than 1st gen.
Bought Airpods 4 (without noise cancelling) and msteams/webex audio is very, very low. Other windows sounds are fine. Took it to our corporate helpdesk & the guy was in disbelief he couldn't fix it, but he couldn't. * Airpods 4 (without noise cancelling) - not compatible * Airpods 4 (with noise cancelling) - ? * Airpods Pro 2 - ? I actually bought a refurb pair of Airpod 2's from Amazon & they're fine, but I hate myself for buying them (and for losing my old ones). Also hate the pros, I don't like that rubber thing in my ear. So I guess my question is do new Airpods 4 (with noise cancelling) work well with msteams? I get this is a driver issue, so it'll probably be fixed later but I don't want to assume that.
I got without anc and they are great
I just got the ones without noise cancellation and I don't understand why some people are against of if. My friend has the ones with ANC and it's just something i don't need. If you don't need it then why bother overpaying? The sound is no different, so if you've used earphones without ANC in the past and never considered it an issue then it won't be now as well. You'd have to try both
The AirPods 4 ANC are $118 and the ones without ANC are $99. You can not beat that, do yourself a favor and get either but I suggest the ANC for less than $20 more. The AirPods 4 are very underrated and you will not regret them. I have 6 pairs of premium earbuds including the AirPods Pro 3 but I always come back to the 4. They are that awesome
I have both cheap and expensive earbuds. Not gonna lie there are brands that have very good earbuds at a low price . TOZO for example have great quality earbuds that are usually in the $20-$30 range. I use these exclusively for work. I work outside and exposed to the elements. If something happens to them it’s no big deal. Now for the expensive, I do run everday and I need quality earbuds that will stay on so I have the Beats Fit Pro and the OG Powerbeats Pro. These aren’t going anywhere and the sound quality is great. AirPods Pro 2 if I’m goi my on a road trip. I need top quality ANC, no exceptions when I’m traveling. Also I always buy refurbished, my Volt Yellow Beats fit cost me $122 in “like new” condition and they came in the original box and were like new. My AirPods cost me $120 from the Walmart website flash sale(also refurbished) I save tons of money buying refurbished. They also come with warranty. My Bose QC headphones cost me $130 “like new” from the original price of $360. Give TOZO a shot, they will surprise you and always buy refurbished to save yourself a lot of money
I also have tiny ear canals, so tiny that any kind of silicon tipped earbud just simply won't fit or feels very uncomfortable. Were the JBL buds and airpods woth silicone tips or semi-open? I recently took a look at a lot of semi-open buds to make a purchase. Otherwise I would suggest semi-open buds, and particularly the standard airpods (since anc don't matter you could just go for the standard airpods 4, not the ANC ones). The aipods have a good mic. There are several JBL buds that are semi open. The JBL tune flexes come as the standard semi-open version in the box, but also interchangable silicone-tips. The mic on these are decent for the low price of 40-50$ depending on your region. The sound quality overall is passable and they have ANC, but it's basically non-existent. The samsung galaxy buds 3 also allegedly have a very good mic. The non pro version are without tips that enter your ear canals. These have also recently gone on sale for about 90$. Many do, however, claim that there is a problem with the fit. They seem to be larger than the average earbud, and this causes them to slip out for people who have smaller ears (small ears! Not ear canals!). For others the larger size seem to work better and they sit snuggly, but these seem to be for individuals with larger ears. There are other brands as well that have semi-open earbuds. Nothing ear stick is also quite good and have a decent mic. But I would warn that these are a nightmare to clean due to the mesh used on them. Eventually these get a problem with sound volume or break from trying to clean them (I had to get new ones because of this) There are of course earbuds with silicone tips that have XS sizes, but I have not looked at these since I never found any of them to work for me. A mandatory note is that there is also a very popular category of open earbuds that can also be very good, but I have never tried any of them.
