"amazing, amazing, amazing ANC performance for earbuds! ... not even close in ANC performance vs these (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024)) ... I, for ANC, prefer the approach Bose takes, blocking out pretty much all frequencies."
"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."
"noise cancelling headphones are such a blessing for me. i've always been sensitive to noise and i get overstimulated easy when out in public. they give me silence and privacy when I need it. worth every cent!"

"If you use Apple devices, it integrates perfectly with the ecosystem."
"I unlock my computer and phone with it."
"the fact that they integrate to the Apple Watch simply cannot be understated for me, I couldn’t go back to Garmin now, it is just so much part of my life now. ... Tracking weightlifting workouts, nutrition and other stuff, analysis of the data, send messages to HomePod, changing NC automatically, sending emails …."

"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."
"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."
"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"VERY secure (never once had them come off while working out or doing cardio)."

"the Cloud II's microphone sounded the best, the clearer on every single audio device I've tested. I'm still recovering from that one to be honest. It was a surprise that went against everything I've seen on reviews so I'd like to really underline that one because most people thing the Cloud II microphone isn't good. Well, these are the HP version so maybe the reworked HP version actually improved the microphone. ... It's one of the best microphones i've used. Your voice sounds crisp and clear even if you're speaking lower."
"mic crushes the Sony LinkBuds S in noisy/quiet settings ... keeps your voice natural"
"better call quality"

"noise cancellation was pathetic."
"the ANC in the 4s is just rubbish"
"ANC didn't work at all. ... Non-existent ANC (I head everything the same way with ANC on and taking ot the earbuds, tested it in different scenario)."

"the bass sounds are nonexistent ... my 30$ EarPods have much better bass sounds ... So if you listen to a lot of bass-heavy music, stay away from these. ... I had to spend a lot of time with equalizer to make them usable."
"the sound quality is terrible imo. ... they sound kind of boxy / middy with less bass response. ... it just sounds flattened. ... these suck ☹️"
"not sound quality ... Samsung buds pro 2 sound way better than apple's ... bowers and Wilkins pi6 and pi8 even better sound quality again than this"

"About a year and the right bud would last about 15 minutes on a full charge."
"I've had them for a few years and now the battery doesn't last for more than 40 mins, so looking for a different model."
"And then during a race in September the mid sole of one pulled right off with less than 200 km on them."

"Also the lack of on stem volume rocker on the 4s is a huge downgrade for me in terms of convenience and it sucks that it’s not on them, it’s up to you if it’s enough of a dealbreaker though"
"I just wish they had volume control on the stem like the app2. ... I have no clue why apple removed that feature, it was awesome for the gym."
"I hate that the 4s don't have volume adjust on the stem. Annoying when your phone is tucked away somewhere."
You just like the thought of it or do you actually use them in conditions where that would be helpful. I’ve used EarBuds, Pro 1, and Pro 2 during workouts and in light rain with no issues at all. I tend to get out of the rain in downpours or at least use an umbrella, so don’t plan on ever putting that to the test.
r/apple • Apple announces AirPods Pro 3 with ‘world’s best ANC’ and live translation ->I bought them because my left app2 took a swim and lost noise cancelling. I am happy with a device that fits so nice and call quality with battery life is great. I didn't buy them to experience another level in sound. I don't know what people expect but over all for w the price, size and overall feeling it's great.
r/airpods • Several days later, let's be honest... ->I have both and I ll make it simple for you how much ANC do you need? If you are in flights, trains and want to block lot of noise go with pros if you are going to listen music, calls and at work take airpods 4 with ANC. They are much more comfortable than pros and can wear for a long time.
r/airpods • Help me choose between new airpods ->Yeah. Airpods work with Android phones they just don't support all the features (they don't show battery %, no spatial audio, no Find My Device). Still mostly usable.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->my airpods have been great
r/Contractor • Recommend me work earbuds ->airpods is by far your best bet; worth the money, takes at least 3years to notice the battery degrade (assuming you use it everyday).
r/Tech_Philippines • Wireless Earphones for Phone Calls ->The NRR rating in AirPods is a relatively recent update as well so I think most people still aren’t aware because for years they didn’t have any official rating.
r/MilwaukeeTool • Anyone tried these ear buds? ->I killed 2 sets of AirPods with too much sweat. I now use Shokz open move when I run or workout. I don’t think they sound anywhere near as good as the AirPods, but they have lasted much longer. I would be open to switching to something else myself so I’m curious to see what people say.
r/sanantonio • Runners, which headphones? ->The Pros have better ANC and sound because of the tight seal. However I prefer the 4s because i don’t like the silicone tips on the pros.
r/airpods • Airpod 4’s or the Airpods pro 2’s ->I got tired of my AirPods falling out so I've been bringing my bluetooth JBL speaker with me to the gym. No issues so far.
r/workout • Headphones or TWS for Gym? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
