"The Pros basically lock in to your ears. ... I’ve worn mine for literally hundreds of hours working out and they’ve never fallen out once. ... I am sure that I could do cartwheels in them and they wouldn’t budge."
"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."
"I love my AirPod pros for running ... They’ve never ever fallen out."

"I cried tears of joy when I put air pod pros in for the first time if that tells you anything!! 🥹"
"nothing I’ve used has had the same noise cancellation as they do. ... makes running any open station tractor 10x more bare able."
"Apple air pod pros literally make my existence tolerable. ... They’re pricey but worth the peace they bring me. ... the apple ones have been so good."

"still have quality sound and bass ... With a slight adjustment in the bass on Spotify + spatial sound, the Airpods fly! The bass and quality of the Airpods almost reach the same level as the XM4!"
"you can turn on dirac opteo which drastically improves clarity and details in sound."
"they have really good sound quality, clarity and warm profile like the AirPods pro ... plus is that cmfs have punchy bass."

"I have the air pods and they work seamless with both."
"And APP has the significant edge in connectivity (pairing with iPhone/macbook)"
"AirPods Max and Pro work great for me. ... having all my Apple things talk nicely and sync without going into settings all the time. ... convinience of them working with all my tech without ever activaly going into settings. ... I like to put my headphones on/in and have them play sound from whichever device I am using at that time."

"I’m a heavy sweater and my pros are going on 2 years of almost everyday abuse."
"lived through INTENSE use for years ... even got chewed on by my dog and dropped in a turtle tank and still worked for over 5 years since launch ... They are only finally starting to kick the bucket because I work in manual labor and have beaten them to hell."
"The AirPods pro's I've had (Both gen 1 and gen 2) were great and long lasting products"

"I’d love to be able to run in them, but they would never stay in my ears. ... I’m afraid I already have tried each pod size. ... I had the air pod pro before that and they were the same. ... I even bought extra / different size pods and they didn’t work. ... I think Apple designed them for the most common types, but they just do not fit everyone. I’m sadly one of those people. ... Having had this issue for almost 6 years, I would be reluctant to run with them now."
"I have tried a bunch of different eartips for my airpods pro, both foam and speciality combined rubber + foam and they grip pretty well. ... But I find that if the earbud has some kind of rubber ring or lip around the speaker casing they seem to stay much much better than if they just have a better replaced rubber tip. Because the whole speaker is otherwise kind of moving around inside the outer part of the ear and pulls the eartip out more and more during the day so I have to constantly readjust and push in the earbud."
"your earbuds dislodge when riding and you try to take off your helmet ... ruined them"

"My first gen pros crapped out on me within like a year or 2"
"left earbuds that failed right after warranty ended. All of them."
"I think 3 years is too little for such an expensive electronic to start failing like that."

"they are still not comfortable ... every earbud other then 1/2‘s or wired ones just fall out after some time with movement and doesn‘r sit tight at all."
"Never fit my ear unfortunately. ... The eartips keep slipping out, the airpod itself sits flush against the bone in my ear preventing long time use."
"very uncomfortable for flights over 2 hours"

"mic issues ... My current pair still has the same issue. Cleaning never seems to bring them back to “normal” either."
"And when you use the mic the audio quality very noticeably drops."
"The mics on AirPods Pro ... were just not cutting it"

"both earbuds developed the crackling issues (twice!)"
"the noise esp for shooter/online games are terrible"
"Mine have that static noise problem. ... It seems like it’s caused by a faulty wire to one of the microphones, since it only shows up when I turn on transparency mode or noise cancelling. ... If I rattle the AirPod in question just right, the glitch goes away. ... The other person can hear it on calls though, unfortunately."
You just like the thought of it or do you actually use them in conditions where that would be helpful. I’ve used EarBuds, Pro 1, and Pro 2 during workouts and in light rain with no issues at all. I tend to get out of the rain in downpours or at least use an umbrella, so don’t plan on ever putting that to the test.
AirPod pros by far have the best call quality for you and the person you’re talking to.
I wanted to dislike them cause they’re so generic and corporate and whatever else, but when I lost my first pair (which i loved) and tried two other wireless buds (which i did not love half as much) and went back to Airpods pros, I decided it was time to admit they are JUST very good. I don’t think anything beats them right now that I’m aware of. The battery life is great, they connect to an iPhone or Mac seamlessly, every part of it recharges fast, case beeps on Find My if you need to, noise cancelling is quite good (heavily relied on for planes and trains). Small and comfortable enough that I’ve fallen asleep with them in as a side sleeper. It still feels so lame shilling for a major company’s product this hard cause they don’t need the marketing help at all. But they just are the gold standard right now.
I swear by Beats Pro with the little wing tip. I’ve got two PRs of AirPods Pro and they just don’t have enough NC and they eventually fall out. But the wing tip on the beats holds them without jamming them in my ears to hold them. But yes. They need to be sealed to have effective NC. I also have Bose QC ultra cans which are really light on your head. And AirPod Max which are really awesome but heavy so I just use them at home because they connect so easily to Apple devices if I move around.
I think it is worth just getting the pros. They will last longer and will be worth it more than others. The ease of use can’t be beat.
Needing them to drop before mid November. I am still rocking AirPod pro 1’s that I want to upgrade for an international flight I’m taking then. Fingers crossed.
They’re excellent! Much better than the AirPods 3 and the ANC is way better than I had expected. Of course the Pro’s can do ANC way better, but they are doing a good job. Plus less stressful for some ears.
I really hope they improve the ambient mode, I want to be able to safely bike while wearing my AirPods. beyond that I really hope they make the case with replaceable battery. right now these are disposable and only last around 2-3 years for me.
The pros with the varia radar + camera are pretty solid though. Varia makes up for the loss in sound awareness.
I use my AirPods Pro.
I have not noticed any delay. I was surprised it works when I set it up with zero extra tweaks My AirPods don’t work on pop os.
Planning on upgrading mine I got in 2020 at the start of Covid. My APP1 have been through a lot together with me in the last ~5 years.
