AirPods Pro 1

My new AirPods Pro 3 seem incredible, and everyone seems to agree. If you’ve got Apple gear they make a lot of sense. Now, on the topic of whether they’ll last for a long time, anecdotally, my first generation AirPods and first generation AirPods Pro both still work absolutely fine. I use the previous pros in bed and the regular ones at home sometimes when I don’t need ANC and want to give my ear canals a rest. That said, their battery lives are maybe 80% and 60% of what they used to be, so I’m not sure if I’d ever class any earbuds as something for life.

Im the opposite. I can litterally only wear airpods pro. I wear glasses so over ear headphones press the sides of my them into my head. so there not a comfortable option for me. And any other headphones no matter the brand or type always fall out. My airpods pro 1 litterally never fell out unless I made them same for my app2. I was thinking about getting the app3 but saw how they changed the design and dont want to end up buying them if they fall out all the time.

I had to return mine cause they went into overheat mode within 5 mins into the sauna. The 2nd gen last over 20min no problem. I exclusively use these at the gym

I’ve had my AirPods Pro gen 1 since release and they’ve been great. Only recently got the 2nd gen since I lost them in an airport.

I have the first gen air pod pros and they sat out in a friend’s lawn for 3 months through snowstorms and rain and the new orleans sun and they’re still functional several years later. The right one started getting crackly last week but it was random and happened while i was in bed listening to white noise. 10/10 i will def replace with the 2nd gen.
