"amazing, amazing, amazing ANC performance for earbuds! ... not even close in ANC performance vs these (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024)) ... I, for ANC, prefer the approach Bose takes, blocking out pretty much all frequencies."

"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."

"noise cancelling headphones are such a blessing for me. i've always been sensitive to noise and i get overstimulated easy when out in public. they give me silence and privacy when I need it. worth every cent!"

"If you use Apple devices, it integrates perfectly with the ecosystem."

"I unlock my computer and phone with it."

"the fact that they integrate to the Apple Watch simply cannot be understated for me, I couldn’t go back to Garmin now, it is just so much part of my life now. ... Tracking weightlifting workouts, nutrition and other stuff, analysis of the data, send messages to HomePod, changing NC automatically, sending emails …."

"This is where they really shine. ... Transparency mode is fantastic - it feels super natural, almost like you're not wearing earbuds at all. ... This feature is the most important to me in any earbuds and out of the many I've tried, these are hands down the best. ... Transparency would have made or broke these for me, and they deliver in spades. ... Best I've heard on any earbuds, and most over the ears, with the exception of the Airpods Max. Those sound like you're wearing nothing at all. This is the closest to that I've ever heard. ... No static here."

"The AP2 are gold standard for transparency for me, every aspect I just described is handled well."

"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."

"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"they were uncomfortable for my ears ... they kinda really hurt my earbuds after 30 minutes of use ... my ears would hurt too much so I had to return them."

"the pros left me with a non healing scrape in my left ear that I could never find a reasoning for. ... apparently I wasn’t the only one to have this mystery effect. ... the AirPod pro 2s were 100% better (with the exception of them injuring my ear lol)"

"I must have big ears. ... I could not get a solid fit. ... Move-around stability and ANC were atrocious, I’m sure because of the fit."

"I’d love to be able to run in them, but they would never stay in my ears. ... I’m afraid I already have tried each pod size. ... I had the air pod pro before that and they were the same. ... I even bought extra / different size pods and they didn’t work. ... I think Apple designed them for the most common types, but they just do not fit everyone. I’m sadly one of those people. ... Having had this issue for almost 6 years, I would be reluctant to run with them now."

"The AirPods Pro always slip out after 1-2 minutes of use on the left side (for me). I'm still trying to find a solution for this. One that doesn't involve fiddling with the foam."

"I have tried a bunch of different eartips for my airpods pro, both foam and speciality combined rubber + foam and they grip pretty well. ... But I find that if the earbud has some kind of rubber ring or lip around the speaker casing they seem to stay much much better than if they just have a better replaced rubber tip. Because the whole speaker is otherwise kind of moving around inside the outer part of the ear and pulls the eartip out more and more during the day so I have to constantly readjust and push in the earbud."

"The ANC is not remotely what it used to be now."

"reduced noise cancellation ... My current pair still has the same issue. Cleaning never seems to bring them back to “normal” either."

"The original AAPs ANC sucked and broke on 2 different pairs of mine and multiple pairs of others I had seen."

"the mic got bad due to sweat corrosion."

"My pro 2 ’s had to be replaced several times while I had a warranty ... then one of them broke again a month after warranty."

"Foam or rubber tips on the APP2 fall out of my ear the *second* I start sweating almost without fail... ... as far as how well they stay in with any moisture, that is the issue."

"as long as you dont connect to windows with them. unless you enjoy having to disconnect and reconnect them every hour or so. ... i am about ready to throw them in a blender with how absolutely barbaric apple's bluetooth connectivity is outside of apple only products."

"I learned a lot of the advanced features that are available for the Apple phones are not available on Android/Windows. ... You will have to use third party utilities to see headphone battery life. ... You cannot change the equalizer settings of your AirPods this way. ... You won't get the higher end version of the transparency mode. ... You won't get "turn off when you pull earbuds away from ear" feature. ... I had to return them because the lack of proper Android integration where I feel like I'm missing out on half the features because of the gatekeeping behind Apple's hardware just bugged the hell out of me."

"found my Airpods not doing that anymore and it kills me enough to make the switch if they do."

You just like the thought of it or do you actually use them in conditions where that would be helpful. I’ve used EarBuds, Pro 1, and Pro 2 during workouts and in light rain with no issues at all. I tend to get out of the rain in downpours or at least use an umbrella, so don’t plan on ever putting that to the test.

I’m also interested in this. I use AirPods Pro 2 most of the time. They work but I don’t love them. I was looking for wired headphones as well.

same here, couldn't get a good fit with any of the tips. I'm not sure I have a deformed head, but it also crackled a lot (probably the foam expanding/contracting) when I talked with it, which was truly annoying. Never had that with any of the previous versions, so sticking with my Pro 2 for the time being...

AirPods Pro 2 for earbuds and Sennheiser Momentum 4 for headphones. Both work well.

AirPods Pro for the seamless integration and handoff between other Apple devices. Could go from iPhone to iPad to Apple Watch to my Mac without a problem. The audio is good as well, if this is just for everyday use.

I have the same problem, I’ve found that the AirPods with the rubber tips help a lot with grip - the normal AirPods fall right out of my ears lol. I usually use my big Bose headphones but if I need small earbuds, AirPods for sure
