Basing your opinion about wireless earphones on just one set is not the best thing to do, honestly. Maybe you just encountered a faulty pair, or in fact, these particular earphones are low quality. About a year ago, I pulled the trigger on Baseus EZ10 TWS. I needed something wireless to use at work because even though it's a desk job, the cable was annoying. I couldn't really find any reviews of them, but they were dirt cheap (~6$) on Aliexpress, so even if they weren't good, it wouldn't be a big loss. To my surprise, they are great for the price. I'd say they can easily compete with 3-4 times more expensive sets. The sound is balanced, and there is no fatigue even after long hours. Speech intelligibilyty is great, so as vocals. Bass is, I'd say, spot on. It's not lacking, but at the same time, it doesn't dominate. Highs aren't harsh or fatiguing. I think I wouldn't lie if I say that if you would give them to random people on the street and ask about their opinion, they'd say it's good in terms of sound balance. Kind of *people pleaser TWS*. The battery is great. It can easily last 7-8h, case will be enough to charge them 3 or 4 times, so I'd estimate that the whole battery life is even about 30h. Touch control is not good nor bad. It just works. They fit really well. The buds are small, and you can easily find a good and secure position. Honestly, the biggest disadvantage is the case itself. It doesn't have the lid (open design), the battery indicator tells you nothing about the battery level unless it ran flat and the charging docks don't fit the buds (kinda). Sometimes, you have to gently press them, so pogo pins can make proper contact. As far as I know, there is a companion app where you can use some EQ presets (maybe even create your own), see the battery levels, and configure the touch control, but I've never used it.
Yes, more or less. Many new and past releases are tuned to the Harman target or JM-1 (the newer ones), so finding one won't be a problem. If you're looking specifically for USB Type C wired IEMs (like your current Samsung buds), many of them come with a companion app with some EQ presets and custom EQ, and you can easily alter the sound to your taste.
AliExpress, search for "RealFit F3", or "RealFit F4", or "Baseus Bowie Earbuds". Tried all 3, Baseus is best, then F4 then F3.
I have Baseus Bowie which I get from ali Express for $45 and they're great.
