Beats are by far the best. Not just bc of the fit but bc they have the best controls for stop/start/pause/next/previous and volume. and the easiest to pair when switching the headphones between phone and laptop.

I prefer beats fit pro because I despise over the ear hooks. However note that Powerbeats fit, the successor to beats fit pro, is coming out soon. I'll be upgrading myself since my fit pro is showing some wear and tear after 3 years of use. The wings are perfect, for most people they should be able to prevent the fit pro from falling out of your ears at all, as they get perfectly nudged in. A common complaint is they get a bit uncomfortable for longer periods - I found this to be the case as well but over time my ears adapted so I never feel long term discomfort anymore. No issues with sweat, and I believe they are water resistant for light rain. So overall, BFP were the greatest earbuds I ever owned, in general pretty satisfied. Now waiting to see what the Powerbeats fit has to offer

$200 well spent and that won’t fry when you sweat in them. Think about it this way, you paid what you did for the XM5, and if you continue to work out in them and they get water damage, they will be bricked and they won’t be covered by warranty. So you just lost what you paid for them. Buy AirPods Pro 2 currently going for $169 they’ll sound great, have phenomenal ANC, and they’re water resistant (and I’d argue sweat proof). Your ears won’t get hot less of a chance of them falling out on you, and won’t get as gross and nasty plus they are easier to clean. If earbuds falling out are an issue, beats fit pros stay in like a rock, sound pretty good (not APP good) have pretty decent noise cancellation, and again water resistant (and sweat proof) and you can find for under $100. Over ears are meant for travel and lounging, earbuds are meant for active folks.

Beats fit pro. I’ve literally crashed on my bike and they stayed in! That said, try before you buy (or try/return) because everyone’s ears are different, but for me they are rock solid. Edit: the BFPs are basically the studio buds but with the in hear hook thingie.

i’ve been using beats fit pros with my iphone, they have 99% of the features that airpods have and are cheaper. my only complaint is that they have a little rubber tip that secures them in the ear, which gets really irritating after a couple of hours, but you can just flick them out to fix that.

My experience has been great. I’m coming from the Beats Fit Pro since the sound became harsh and the hear buds would hurt after 2 hours of use. I’m enjoying these a lot more. Tested for the correct tips and wings and the fit is great. No ear fatigue for me at all. My primary use was for the gym but have now been using at work on phone calls and Teams meetings. No complaints on the receiving end. Sound is great, bass is present, the equalizer within is nice. I mainly listening to HipHop and EDM music. ANC is good enough when taking calls or blocking out noise at the gym. At the price point only complaint for me could be the case but it’s rarely left in my pocket.

As someone with similar struggles - soft in-ear hooks. There's the occasional unicorn design that just works, but your best bet is something that fits securely not just into your ear canal. Unfortunately most of that category is sports gear that's both very bassy and uncomfortable to outright painful for longer sessions, but something like the Sony Linkbuds, basic Beats Fit Pro or previous gen of Bose QuietComfort might pop up just within your budget if you keep an eye on sales and discounts.

Honestly? IEMs. For actually being on the move and surviving near anything you just can't beat dedicated exercise earphones. A lot of them don't have the very best sound, but you can actually stick with Beats here for something premium like the Fit Pro or Powerbeats Pro 2 that can take a splash and stay securely in your ears while still offering a reasonably fun sound.

I quite like my Adidas FDW-01 earbuds. No ANC and they will start wearing on your ears after a while, but they ain't coming out unless you want them to, and if you don't like the neck band there's an FWD-02 that does away with that. There's a lot of more secure and good sounding earbuds with all sorts of security features out there than a mediocre brand like Jabra and basic airpods, though, and all of them are likely to meet your requirements better than any headphone. JBL Endurance Race for example are also very secure and have an excellent IP rating that'll hold out through a thunderstorm, Beats Fit Pro are expensive but offer soft flexible hooks with good sound, and JLab Epic Air Sports pack their ANC with over-ear hooks instead if you don't want anything poking into your ear. And any decently sized ear hooks *will* be more secure than even the tightest headphone clamp, without bumping or catching on anything.

I initially worried that Beats products were over-priced and over hyped, but my Beats Fits Pros been my constant companions over thousands of km of running, snow, -20c temperatures, rain, and all my running milestones. I don't mind the Shokz, but the audio quality of the Beats to propel you when you're really feeling low on a big, long effort has been huge. Though I wear them so much that there's a perpetual sore spot on the inside of one ear. My preferred combo is Beats, and then Shokz for a half hour while the Beats charge in their pod. My go-to headphone routine for 5 hour + runs.

Old thread but I purchased my Beats Fit Pro around launch and my left ear wing/hook has finally decided to come off. It is hanging on by the smallest of threads. Sadly it’s no longer emitting sound anymore. I’ve had zero issues with them otherwise. They get heavy gym use. Indoor and outdoor and I love them. Sadly I’ll probably upgrade to Air Pods Pro 2. I’ve owned every iteration of Power Beats Pro since the very first ones and they’ve all served me well. I’d recommend but personally I just want to try something new. I hope that helps.

Word of warning, if they haven’t fixed the “hook” durability I’d be careful with your money. Or at least get one of those cheap replacement warranties. The issue is the hook that goes into your ear will [eventually come apart](https://www.reddit.com/r/beatsbydre/s/2H5s3F01HG), which is so silly to me because it causes the entire device to be useless. There are now aftercare parts to replace the hooks but they require professional tools and it’s not easy for the average consumer to do it. Powerbeats Pro used to have the same issue but they fixed it with the recent releases. Even the marketing for Powerbeats Pro uses the stronger hooks in its advertising.

[Beats Fit Pro](https://www.beatsbydre.com/earbuds/beats-fit-pro). I have both them and AirPods Pro 2. The AirPods are marginally better in some ways - the Adaptive mode (it combines transparency - the ability to hear things around you as you listen to media - with noise cancelling, so that when something loud comes near, it adapts by beefing up noise cancelling until the loud moise dimishes) is something the Beats Fit Pro lack (they are essentially clones of AirPods Pro 1, so they have separate transparency and noise cancellation modes). But the Beats have those very compfortable hooks that hold the earbuds in place. I've had my AirPods get knocked out while I run, so I rarely use them. Just for walks. I've had my Beats since May 2022, so they are going on three years and the batteries are still fine. (I basically use them almost exclusively for workouts, which average about 75 minutes a day.)

Beats Fit Pro have been outstanding for me. They have a little “wing” that locks it into your ear flap but isn’t annoying or uncomfortable. Battery life and charge time outstanding. Stellar sound quality. Also has transparency mode which I use for rides and I can hear everything pretty reasonably with my music kept to a low-ish volume which I do in busier areas. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made (got a refurb pair for $120 a few years ago and they are still as good as new).

There's going to be 20 recommendations for shokz. I think they're a great product. I think they're the best product for shorter periods; however, I'll share why I go a different route for ultras. This is ultra running, which means a lot of distances take more than the shokz 10 hour battery life. So once they die, then what? I personally run with beats fit pro. They have great ambient sound if you chose to wear both buds at the same time so you can hear everything going on around you. But the real reason I prefer ANY buds over shokz is you can wear one at a time and spread that battery life over a very long time. Put in the left bud, wear it til it dies, plop it into the charging case and grab the right bud, rinse repeat. My last 100 miler took 30 hours and I had audio the whole time

I’m very happy with mine. I’ve had them for about a year and a half. All of the other earbuds I’ve owned failed in less than 12 months. I bought Apple Care on them, because I was worried about wingtip durability. I’m happy enough with them to buy ver 2 whenever it comes out. I would love to see some improvements: * Useful FindMy. Currently it only works when under case is open, which is useless. It should help me find them when the case is closed. * A case that locks. I bought a 3rd party mining case cover to fix this, as I kept worrying that I’d misplace a bud. * Features similar to current Air Pods Pro. * Better ecosystem compatibility. My BFP are usually connected to my iPad. If I connect them to my phone or watch to take a call, the iPad will often reconnect to them during the call. This shouldn’t happen and is very annoying.

Beats Fit Pro with the small tip. They have wings so you can sort of hook them inside your ear. I use them for jump rope (because I paired them with an app that counts your jumps) and they mostly stay in, even when I’m jumping up and down for half an hour. I say mostly because I’ve found out that my left ear isn’t shaped like my right ear, so I’ve learned to twist that side a little to get it to stay!

I owned beats fit pro, and JBL aero, both great for heavy exercise. beats fit pro abit more secure with snug stiff wingtip compared to jbl . jbl more soft and comfy for long activity. both are perfect buds for running and GYM which i used. but i found beats fit pro sound profile a bit null boring .. not dynamic and liked jbl more.. sold beats fit pro. but i missed its transparency mode and ANC. JBL anc great tho but not ambient mode sucks. however it sounds more fun and joy. also jbl is like g-shock of earbuds. so robust for tough conditions .full water proof, dust proof etc.. hard to damage. you cant go wrong with both. open earbuds i dont recommend i also have owned huawei and sold it .recently. they are not for GYM and noisy enviorement you cant hear anything if in GYM except the music plays at GYM and ppl noises. skip open earbuds its good for office use podcast etc.. not for music listening edspcially in GYM

My fav is Beats Fir pro. The wingtip design locks them in place, so they never budge, even during intense workouts. The sound quality is fantastic (spatial audio is a cool touch), and the ANC blocks out gym noise like a champ. They’re sweat-resistant (IPX4), but not fully waterproof, so keep that in mind. Battery life is solid—6 hours with ANC and 18 more in the case. Perfect if you’re in the Apple ecosystem, but they work well with Android too.

I wear my Bose Quietcomfort-Ultra earbuds for cycling daily (outdoors) and my gym needs. They have wingtips that lock into the ears. I've been using Bose earbuds for my gym needs for many MANY years (before TWS, I was using the Bose Soundsport wired bluetooth, then before that the soundsport wired hooked to a Jabra BT3030 streaming pendant). They always stay secure in my ears. Although the Bose QC-Ultra is out of your budget. The old (discontinued) Bose QC2 (Quietcomfort Earbuds ii) were discontinued last year, but you can still find plenty of new-old-stock around. The QC2 is essentially a second generation TWS earbud from Bose. The QC-Ultra is kinda like a v2.5 of the Bose QC2 (practically identical with a few minor tweaks, but otherwise the same). I've seen the QC2 earbuds selling for under $150 new-in-box on eBay. I sold my used (but fully cleaned/sanitized and still fully functional) QC2 earbuds for $70 on ebay last month (upgraded to the QC-Ultra over the black friday sale)

I had them for almost five years. They went through the washer and dryer several times—never an issue. Sadly, now the left bud isn’t working as well anymore and is making a weird noise. I'm desperately searching for another pair I’ll love for running but haven’t found one yet. I tried the new Powerbeats 2 (they sucked) and am currently trying the Beats Fit Pro. I do like them, but after 50 minutes of running, my ears start to hurt due to the wingtip. The new Jabra Elite 8 didn’t work for me like the 75T did—they didn’t stay in place, and I feel like they created more of that vacuum feeling in my ear canals. So...PLEASE ...SUGGESTIONS? I'm looking at the Soundcore Sport X20, but it seems like they stop working after a few months from some reviews? I can't use open ear ones, since I need to block the noise from the gym when running on the treadmill. Treadmill runners - please help.

For the plane I use an old pair of Bose qc20 wired noise-canceling earbuds. I only have to charge them for the noise cancellation but they last beyond the duration of my typical flights, stay in my ears (or if they fall out, they’re still connected by a wire), and don’t have any pressure-sensitive buttons that will get pressed if I move my head in a certain way on my neck pillow or the headrest. And of course the form factor is small. For everything else I ended up switching to Bluetooth because wired is cumbersome. I use beats fit pro. My only complaint is that the case is huge and doesn’t have wireless charging.

2.5 + years of daily use and they just stopped working. No warning. They worked like normal in the morning and then they did not by the afternoon. They are not discoverable by devices, do not turn on, cannot be reset. They have never been washed or gotten wet. No manner of changing the power cords, charging boxes or outlets have fixed the issue (they weren’t even low on charge to begin with). They aren’t even recognizable when I plug them into a computer to charge. Took them to an Apple Repair store after chatting with Apple Support online and the dude was like ‘not worth fixing.’ I came here looking for fixes but I seem to be the only one with a problem. :/. My reflex is to always repair so while I didn’t love them (they fell out all of the time even with Comply tips) I would rather fix them than buy a new pair. If anyone has a fix, I’d love to try it. They’re just glaring at me in their box.

Honestly, if you want something that just won’t fall out, go with the Beats Fit Pro those wing tips hug your ears and stay locked in even when you’re pushing hard, plus you get solid ANC and that classic Apple/Beats sound. If you’d rather keep things closer to budget, the Jabra Elite 4 Active are super comfy, sweatproof, and tuned for workouts without feeling bulky. Both are easy recommendations. check them out on [audiotones.co](http://audiotones.co) before you buy so you know which vibe fits you best.

I have had these since they came out in November 2021. I wear them religiously and have had to get them replaced once by Apple Care. I wear them for working out and as my daily headphones/mic. They rarely fall out, only if excessive sweating or movement but this is rather rare. Noise cancellation works great. I’m an attorney and need silence often when working, I will keep them in without anything playing at times because it does a great job with it. Problems: I now likely will need a new pair as the small ear piece mesh came out on one of them and when on airplanes, it hurts my ears. The ear tip piece keeps coming off on both but you can snap it back on. It is annoying but they still work. The mic has issues and often doesn’t work and I can’t use them for calls. They still work great for listening and when not on a plane. They have lasted longer than AirPods and I was looking to see an alternative but will likely buy these again if I can’t find something better.

Beats Fit Pro. They are the absolute GOAT of fitness earbuds, imo. Transparency mode is excellent, they have a physical button press for volume/pause/skip, rather than touch-sensitive (that Bose etc utilise, and it' is frankly shite), they cling to your ears, and audio quality is excellent. I've ran a full marathon with them in, which is an achievement in itself.

Definitely in ear. On ear and over ear are gonna contribute to head sweat and stink up quickly. Airpods or Beats fit pro are the go to if you’re on iPhone. If you’re on Android then you have many, many options. Nothing Ear(a) and cmf buds pro 2 are great budget options. Galaxy Buds pro 3 (or 2 if you wanna save a buck) are good also. It really does come down to ear canal size and shape. You just need something with a good fit. Sound quality doesn’t matter too much to me when I’m working out. Buy using Amazon prime and take advantage of their lenient return policy. Just try them in your ears really quick, then box them back up if they aren’t immediately comfortable. Hope some of that helped ✌️🤘

The main reason why I have bought power Beats Pro 2 and I have been using them since day 1 of the launch, is for gym. I have AirPods Pro 2 how ever they don’t stay in my ears when I run or do strength training. Keeps falling off. I tried beats fit pro for sometime but that didn’t work well as my ears started hurting a little from the wing tip that stays inside of your ears unlike power Beats Pro 2. I tried Sony wf1000xm5, I am not sure if the earbuds I received had an issue or it is generally like that( I have seen quite a number reviews of what I experienced ) noise cancellation was pathetic. Then finally Powerbeats pro 2 launched and I purchased it. Happy with the purchase no regrets. It is great fit for gym and running outdoor with noise cancellation close to AirPods Pro 2 with right fit ear tips and transparency mode for outdoor use. You get sizes xs to xl which is great. Sound is not very bass heavy as it used to be in beats and no sound leakage with right sized ear tip. If your primary use is for workout and running this is best especially you use iPhone which works seamlessly with Apple. Purchase from an Apple Store as i don’t think it will be on sale anytime soon and if you not happy with the purchase atleast you can return them. I hope you will find it enjoyable.

I like the X20s but you said no ear hooks, so that's not helpful. I did not like the Beats Fit Pro and think you can do a lot better for that kind of money. They felt like a $40 pair of earbuds to me. No multipoint, the sound was mediocre, the ANC was bad (horrible occlusion effect as well), and the case in particular felt cheap. Same! I have had the Beats Fit Pro for 3 years now. I just got the AirPods Pro 2 as there as was good discount on them at Costco and I need to replace my BFP. Audio quality is good with the AirPods but I really don’t like the fit. I’ve also tried out every tip in the box but I just don’t get a snug fit like I have with the Beats Fit Pro. I really wanted the AirPods Pro to work for me but I’m going to return them and wait for the Powerbeats Fit. I hope the new case has wireless charging. If water resistance is your top priority, Wirecutter recommends the JBL Reflect Aero TWS. (I’ve never tried them.) If you’re looking to stay in the Apple ecosystem, the Beats Fit Pro are the best. They hold up well during my sweaty summer runs. Note that the newer version, called Powerbeats Fit, should be available in the coming weeks. I would ignore the original Powerbeats Pro. They are really old and are missing a lot of nice to have features (ANC, transparency, Spatial Audio with head tracking, etc).  Instead if you want Beats you should choose between the Beats Fit Pro and Powerbeats Pro 2, which have a different form factor (wing tip vs ear hook) but a mostly similar feature set. And for that it really just comes down to which one fits better for you and provides better sound quality and noise control (ANC, Transparency). You won’t know which one is better for you unless you try them both out.

So you’ve tried ear buds with a wing tip and they wouldn’t stay in?  In my experience the Fit Pro provides an even more stable and secure fit than the Powerbeats Pro 2. But I’ll still adjusting to the fit of Powerbeats Pro 2, as they are the first earbuds I’ve ever used with an earhook.

Try the PBP2 and see if they work for you first. If you’re able to get a precise fit, they’re pretty great, but they’re very dependent on you getting a good, precise fit, otherwise they don’t sound great. Otherwise, if you buy them from Apple, you can return it within 14 days, no questions asked. For me, they fit very well with the XL tips and noise cancellation is nearly as good as my APP2, while sound quality is somewhere between the BFP (try those too, wing tips are great) and APP2. I can’t recommend the PBP1. They have amazing sound but they’re very old, have connectivity issues, and have a long standing problem with charging consistently in their case. If you want an alternative, try the Beats Fit Pro. You’ll be surprised how well they fit.

I recently switched from Fit Pros to AirPods 4 ANC after using them for three years. I find them significantly better. While AirPods do feel slightly loose in one of my ears, they are much more comfortable than Beats. I also find that the ANC is surprisingly superior to Beats, effectively drowning out all background noise. Don’t even get me started on how great the adaptive mode is. With Beats Fit Pro, I couldn’t use noise cancellation while walking on the street because I needed to be aware of my surroundings, and the transparency mode let in a lot of noise, but the adaptive mode on AirPods is a perfect blend of both. I can still hear what’s going on, but it dramatically reduces unnecessary street noises. The build quality is also better. Beats felt very flimsy to me, and I had to glue my wingtips twice in three years. I haven’t tried AirPods in the gym yet, so I don’t know if they’ll stay in my ears, but I did see some wingtip attachments for AirPods on Amazon so that might be worth trying.

The APP are the best for iPhone when it comes to integration (ease of use and connectivity) but the only category it beats other premium TWS in is transparency. I think you meant to put Beats Studio Buds + (the ones with transparent case) which I tried and returned because there was something up with the audio. Mic quality might be an issue for those but is good on my Beats Fit Pro which is my daily driver. I've tried plenty of TWS and my top recommendation that isn't APP is the Nothing Ear. They are the only pair that sound really good and isn't lacking severely in other areas. For the majority of people, audio codecs will not make a difference and do not work with iPhone anyway

What are you looking for? For me I would pick both the Powerbeats Pro 2 and BFP over the APP2 but it's simply because the APP do not fit well in my ears. If they did fit my ears well I would pick them over the PP2 but not the BFP. BFP sound better and have physical controls which I prefer over squeeze controls. If you need good ANC (BFP isn't bad but APP is better), wireless charging, or prefer having a better case then APP are better. I still pick BFP over APP even if APP had good fit because I don't care about wireless charging or having a kinda flimsy case

Most Over ear headphones are not water or sweat resistant btw, which is why u dont see many recommended for working out and stuff. I would use in ears if you can, or you can try open ears if you dont want your ears plugged. In ear i found the beats fit pros have that wing design and stay in your ears very well. Sounded good to me. But i dont try a bunch. Pro 2s fell out from ear sweat and thats not me working out just from being in my ear they would sweat and slip but depends on your ear. For many they stay in. Then u have like shokz who can do the bone conduction , or open ears that can clip on ur ear (look at like soundcore aeroclip, or if u want expensive more name brand its the bose ultra opens or there is ones like the souncore v30i/aerofit 2 that hook like around the outside of your ear and goes right to the outside of the ear for the speaker. Pretty much similar to the clip ons but has the hook instead of clipping.

Finally!! I loved my old beats fit pro. They’re much better than the AirPods Pro which constantly fell out of my ears. I was thinking of upgrading to AirPods Pro 3 this year because I had better luck with the APP2 fit and they hadn’t updated the beats fit pro in years but now it’ll be hard to pick between the two.

Beats fit pro for ear buds; then Shokz for bone conduction when I do not feel like ear buds — I switch between the two quite a bit. Air pod pros, were good for sign, but I lost one bud of TWO pairs due to the case on my keychain being so prone to open up — expensive mistake on my part, the, Beats Pro are better.

I bought a pair on Sunday, returned them on Wednesday. I was hopeful as someone who has small ears and needs the wing to secure the buds, but the hollow wing was basically useless. That on top of the horrible noise cancelling made them a no for me. No screeching though, unless I pressed too hard to get them back in place. (I have an iPhone) I bought them for running, but I will say that when I wore them at my desk at work, these were by far the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn. Feels like nothing in your ear. I used to wear the Beats fit pro, which were slightly uncomfortable and my left earbud always fell out on runs. If anyone has an alternative to these buds, I'm all ears (pun intended)!

I love the Nothing Ear buds too, but yeah, they’re not ideal for workouts. If SpinFits didn’t fully fix it, you could try Comply foam tips (super grippy) or XELASTEC tips (they soften with heat and grip better). Both can help a lot, especially when you’re sweaty. That said, if they still slip out, it might be worth switching to something made for movement. I’d recommend the Beats Fit Pro — great sound, strong ANC, and they stay put thanks to the flexible wing design. Or if you want total comfort and don’t need crazy sound quality, bone conduction headphones like the Shokz OpenRun are awesome for workouts — nothing in your ears, and they don’t move around at all. Might be worth keeping the Nothing Ear for casual listening and using something like Beats Fit Pro or Shokz just for the gym.

They aren’t ideal for glasses and sunglasses wearers. Maybe I’m overly sensitive to it but I can’t get sunglasses to sit right or not shift a little with bone conduction. If the over ear thing was super skinny I think it could work. I was surprised by the quality of the sound, especially bass, but I still can’t get comfortable. Beats fit pro work great for me and although transparency mode isn’t as good as open ear it’s perfectly adequate

I'm an audiophile and I've been through quite a bit of true wireless earbuds and headphones. I just recently purchased the Powerbeats Pro 2. I definitely understand the concerns with the sound. I would say that the Powerbeats Pro 2 have a more balanced sound profile, as compared to my Beats Fit Pro, which are a little more bass heavy. I actually like the punchiness of the Powerbeats Pro 2, but I would agree that they are a bit more pronounced in the mids and highs, providing a little bit of air and defined treble. But again, I still feel they have a balanced sound profile, and not too bass heavy. The H2 chip is amazing, just like in the Airpods Pro 2. In regards to the harshness or sound quality some users are complaining about, I also experienced this at first. But if you are experiencing harshness or sound quality issues, I highly recommend going up a size in ear tips. It's likely that these users do not have the proper ear tip fit. The goal is to get a good seal in your ear canal, and this harshness that we are experiencing is due to an improper seal and leakage. The Ear Tip Fit Test is pretty accurate, but if you are not consistently passing the test, you definitely should try going up in ear tip size. Once I got a good seal, the harshness I was experiencing diminished and the sound quality was great. Another piece of advice is to make sure that you are wearing them properly. I find this video on YouTube by r/SoundGuys to be great at showing how to wear them properly: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExLfk2\_0AVs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExLfk2_0AVs) Regarding the latest firmware, I see some comments mentioning that. It's always good to make sure you are on the latest firmware, but I think the root of the issue is finding a proper fit and seal. I hope this helps.

I have a pair of Jaybirds X3s and these (along with the X and X2) provide the best fit of anything that I've tried. But they are corded and I've been spoiled by truly cordless. The thing that makes them stay in is that they wedge into the front and back part of the outer ear. I use the Beats Fit Pro most of the time and they wedge into the back of the ear. They are pretty good but can fall out if they get really wet. I also have a pair of Beats Flex which are really cheap corded wireless headphones. They fit really well if I take earwings from the Jaybirds X3 and put them on the Beats Flex. I've heard that the best fit for truly wireless are the Jaybirds Vista or Jaybirds Vista 2. Unfortunately, Logitech bought them out and then discontinued the line. I am somewhat tempted to buy a pair to try out. I would miss the aggressive pairing to iPhones and Macs of the Beats Fit Pro. It is possible that they will come out with a new version this year as they are coming up on three years. If you know of other wireless that have a full-size earwing design, I'm happy to take a look.

Shorter, cooler runs, the Beats Fit Pro. If I'm sweating a lot, they will come out. My ears are large and the earwings are one-size-fits-all and it actually doesn't. If I want something that stays in, I use the Jaybirds X3 or the Beats Flex with the X3 earwings. The earwings in that model come in different sizes and there's one that fits me perfectly. It wedges into the nook in the back of your ear and also hooks into the crevice at the front of the ear. The main downside is that there's a wire running between the two earbuds.

I use Beats Fit Pro and they mostly work for me but I wouldn't call them the best. I also wear glasses so the OTA-style doesn't work for me. My biggest problem is them not staying on. The Beats Flex work really well for staying on after I attach earwings form the Jaybirds X3 but I prefer true wireless. The Beats Flex also have too many buttons.

It's not that I love them the most but the Beats Fit Pro does the best job at staying in my ears with truly wireless. The Beats Flex actually does the best job at staying in my ears but I had to add earwings to them and they aren't truly wireless. Most stuff I try falls out unless they have earwings. I don't use the over-the-ear style because I wear glasses.

Agreed! I have a bunch of “premium” earbuds (Denon PerL Pro, Beats Fit Pro, Technics AZ100, Sennheiser Momentum 4, and the Bose QC Ultra) and the noise cancellation on the Bose is easily the best. In terms of sound quality, the Denon Perl Pro are my favourite, but not by much (I really also like the spacious sound of the Sennheiser Momentum TW 4s). The Bose QC Ultras have a hyped sound, but its quite immersive so in terms of excitement they’re also good. I don’t love the Technics, got them cause of all the hype, to my ears they’re somewhat ordinary (good in every department, not great in any), but that could also just be me and my preferences/physiology. In the end, none of these will match a great set of headphones in terms of sound quality, so you’re best advised to try a few out and see which one you like best (if you have that available to you of course). Fit & comfort are also very important and highly personal, as well as extended features (eg mic quality, weight, IPX rating etc etc).

I would hold off on Beats for now. The Fit Pro is great but 2 years old and in need of a refresh. The PowerBeats Pro are much older and are getting a new model sometime in 2025. Jabra and Sony are other brands that make really good earbuds. I recently bought my AirPods Pro 2 and they are amazing. People don’t just buy them because they are Apple, they buy them because they have incredible sound and some great features like Adaptive Audio. They also have the advantage of being extremely popular so it is easy to find accessories for them. You said noise cancelling or I would suggest the Shokz OpenFit. They sit on the ear and blast sound in, which is great for a quiet environment or when you want to hear what is around you. Not so much when you want to block out the world around you because they cannot do that. The biggest issue people have with any in-ear buds is keeping them in the ears. That was a huge problem for me when I owned my Jabras and I have had similar issues with AirPods Pro. You can buy third party tips and there are companies that sell wing tips (you have to remove them to store in the case). The only ones I have that never fall out are the Beats Fit Pro, but their wing tips can get uncomfortable after a while.

I have two sets, left wingtip tore on both of them. I work IT from home, I don’t have them in while working out, I could not begin to tell you why these things tore. One I can glue, one was snatched by a toddler before I could. I think these are a love ‘em or hate ‘em device. If you find them comfortable for prolonged use, they’re easy to love. If they hurt your ears and/or a wingtip tears and they don’t stay in, you won’t find them particularly useful. I love mine but am righteously pissed about the wingtips. Apple’s refusal to acknowledge this clear design flaw puts me squarely in the “do not buy” camp and has pretty well turned me off to future offerings of this type.

Either the Beats Fir Pro or Powerbeats Pro. Just keep in mind the Powerbeats Pro are due for an upgrade early next year. Apple has discontinued them and they aren’t worth buying now. I don’t think so. The Fit Pro are still behind the competition for their sale price. They’re priced not too far behind the AirPods Pro 2 and those are better all around. There are other earbuds also priced around what the Fit Pro are on sale that offer better ANC and more features. They’re just dated at this point and the earbud market has advanced during that time. Currently, the only pair of Beats earbuds worth buying are the Studio Buds+ when they’re reduced down to $100-ish. Every other pair of their earbuds are old, except the new cheap earbuds they came out with that aren’t worth buying at any price.

Id recommend spending an extra like 50$ and getting a pair of jabra sport buds, or a pair of the beats fit pro, probably the slightly older model for the price. I’ve owned both of these for the gym and they’re great at staying in my ear, are very resistant to everything so you’ll be fine doing yard work and stuff. And they have good sound quality for all the things you might like.

I don’t have experience with the OpenFit, but I have the OpenRun Pro 2 and never notice the band. I prefer them over my AirPods and Beats Fit Pro because I feel like the buds never fit in my ears properly. I like how Shokz fit around my ears and I never have to worry about them slipping out on particularly sweaty runs, or putting pressure against my rook and tragus piercings, which was always an issue with buds. Is the sound quality as good as an ear bud? No, but it’s not terrible by any means. I almost didn’t purchase the OpenRun Pro 2s because of some reviews I read on sound quality. Right out of the box, it isn’t great, but you have to download the Shokz app and either customize the sound, or select one of their other sound quality options, just FYI.

I wear Beats Fit Pros. I know everyone here loves Shokz but I just really wasn't a fan. The Fit Pros have a transparency mode (a la Apple Airpods) that allows me to have some situational awareness for bike bells etc., but it can also be toggled off when I don't want or need it (usually when using for things other than running). I also find them really secure in my ears.

I’ve tried AirPods Pro and though they have great sound, they tend to fall out of my right ear only! So annoying! I tried the beats fit pro and those seem to be the perfect fit and also have a long enough battery for marathon distances. Also, the noise cancellation is just good enough to allow me to hear my music better, but not too much that it makes running outdoors dangerous. If I feel I need to, I just toggle to transparency mode.

Here is my two cents. I run a lot and tried various options over the pas two years. I need good sound and something that holds. I do not care about other functionalities. Did 3 years on beats fit pro, but my two pairs gave away more or less at the same time. I liked them but they hurt after couple of hours. I got the Powerbeats 2 but they sound rubbish, worst than the fits pro which are much older. Unacceptable for the price. I tried nothing open ears. Sound great, hold great, but loose too much of the sound for my taste. I tried shocks, I can understand why people love them, but sound quality is not good enough for me. I now run on Sony fit buds. These are half the price, offer the best sound and best hold I’ve seen so far. The transparency is good enough for sports if you care. ANC is good enough. They aren’t great for calls, but again I don’t call with them. Hope this helps.

I’ve also wore the beats fit underneath of my worktunes before, which really took care of the noise. I’ve got a big head, like size 7 1/2 fitted hat, and it works well for me. Late to the post but: after using it for a few days: $130 aud on amazon ( i was using Beats fit pro before i bought this) \- better ANC then beats fit pro \- better app customisation \- better sound quality (clarity) and louder sound. (and customisable through the app) \- longer battery both the earbuds and case. \- in terms of fit, they both sit tightly in my ear. (note: the ear hook of x20 is smaller than what it looks on the picture. it is probably half the length of Powerbeats pro.) **Best Bang for the Buck**

Neither. I still have the original PBP’s, those lasted like a year or so before they started malfunctioning. Left bud turns off and shows 0% battery even if it’s fully charged. PBP 2, just read the reviews about how poor sound quality is. My suggestion? Go for the Beats Fit Pro. Good ANC, sound quality similar to the original PBPs, great fit for the gym and battery life is great.

I’ve tried just about every earbud on the market, most of that time I was using Android. Sony, Bose, Pixel, Samsung, Jabra, Anker, Sennheiser, Shokz, Skull Candy, Beats, you name it. I had different recommendations for people who wanted comfort, good sound quality, excellent ANC, etc. When I switched to an iPhone, I tried the Airpod Pro 2’s again. The previous time I tried them, I was underwhelmed but that was mostly because 90% of the features are inaccessible on Android. Now? IMO, they’re excellent and the best choice for 99% of iPhone users. They are either the best or top 3 in every metric like comfort, sound quality, ANC, ease of use, etc. I’m very particular about all of those things, and it aces every one. The other 1% is people who need the *absolute best* ANC/sound quality/etc. and are willing to sacrifice other features to get it. Once they added the hearing aid mode, I was hooked. I have moderate hearing loss in my left ear and mild in my right, but not bad enough to see a doctor. I wear these all day and can actually understand people when they talk lol. Thinking out loud though, I also liked the Beats Fit Pro when I had Android. I should give them a spin on iPhone since they have the Apple H1 chip too. TL;DR: yes, AirPods are the best choice for iPhone users

I have Powerbeats 2 & 3, beat fit pro, Powerbeats pro (x2), AirPod Pro 1 & 2 and an old pair of beat solo 2 I’ve spent my fair share and this doesn’t count all the versions I have given as gifts. Just got the Powerbeats Pro2 yesterday (as a gift) and as I sit here typing this I’m also thinking how can I tell my gf that they suck and I want to return and just get another pair of AirPod Pro2. It’s funny Apple states same chip but yet PBP2 have less features than AirPod Pro2. Isn’t hearing loss still important? And I’m sorry but as weird as this sounds the AirPod pro2 sounds better. The shape is not great either. The first gen fit great shape wise. They seemed to lock into the shape of my ear and they stayed put. These don’t move around (yet) but they feel loose and for some reason when playing a song they keep stopping. I’ve triple checked and my phone screen is facing outward. A quick press of the button and song picks up where it stopped but three times while playing one song. Again phone in loose shorts side pocket screen outward. I looked forward to these because I liked the thought of the heart sensor built in but very disappointed.

I think the Beats Fit Pro are fantastic. They have a transparency mode if you want to have them in both ears, but I generally just use one (in my left ear), so I have one ear completely free to hear what's going on around me. Battery life is really good, they charge quickly, and the case will charge them up, so you can recharge them on the go. If you only use one of them at a time, then you can just swap ears when the battery runs out.

Brand name aside, the Beats Fit Pros. They're near the middle of my list for sound quality, but take the top spot for security of fit and comfort for activity. Comparing against the best sounding sets, like the Technics AZ80, Denon Perl Pro, Sennheiser TW Momentum 4, they're overall fairly average and fall below those sets. ANC is also subpar compared to the current top contenders, like the QC Ultra, XM5s, and APP2. That said, if you want a set that will stay in while active, they're the easy choice. Another user mentioned the Powerbeats Pros, and those were my top pick before the Beats Fit Pros launched. I would prefer we got an upgrade to that set instead, as the ear hook design will always be superior. I believe that upgrade is coming eventually, as it has been rumored for a while.

Although there is still some stigma around the brand, having tested dozens of TWS sets the Beats Fit Pro are one of the best, most secure fits for workout/exercise. The ANC is the worst of the Beats and Apple-branded earbuds, but sound quality is excellent and they will never fall out. Other options that are a good fit (depending on your ear shape), Sennheiser Momentum TW 4, Denon Perl Pro, and Sennheiser Momentum Sport -- the Sports are great and currently on sale, but they're not worth the price premium when not on sale, so that's the one caveat here. The Fits Pro represent a good overall value.

r/Earbuds • What are the best earbuds for running? ->

Best will depend on your preferences, and whether you value comfort, ANC, or sound quality. Here's my personal shortlist, having tested dozens of these sets in the past few years: **Sound quality:** Denon Perl Pro (with AAT), Technics AZ80, Sennheiser Momentum 4 (with Sound Personalization), AirPods Pro 2, Sony WF-1000XM5s (with personalized EQ, Clearbass set to off), Beats Studio Buds+/Beats Studio Buds, Beats Fit Pros, Bose QC Ultra **ANC:** Bose QC Ultra, AirPods Pro 2, Sony WF-1000XM5s, Sennheiser Momentum 4s, Technics AZ80, Denon Perl Pro, Beats Studio Buds+, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds **Comfort:** Beats Studio Buds+/Beats Studio Buds, Sony WF-1000XM5s (with Dunu S&S tips), Denon Perl Pro, Bose QC Ultra, Sennheiser Momentum 4s (very dependent on concha; ranked higher if you have larger ears), Technics AZ80 (another one that depends more on outer ear physiology) Any buds with a "locking" mechanism, or small ear hook, is very dependent on your individual ears. The Momentum's take this a step further, actually locking in behind your antihelix, resting in your concha. If these fit you, they're one of the most secure and comfortable fits on the market. They rank higher for me because they fit well, but are lower on my list because I think this can vary dramatically by person. For sound quality, I've gone back and forth between the Perl Pros and AZ80s on which sounds best. I used to rank the AZ80s higher, but I have a second AAT profile for the Denons, with Immersion at a +2, that handily beats the AZ80s. This could be due to the initial AAT profile being poorly done -- and yet, still somehow performed better than most of my other sets. With that profile, the Denon's compete with some of my midfi IEMs. They are exceptionally good. The Devialet Gemini IIs are also excellent, but are well outside of your budget and, honestly, not worth the investment. Gemini IIIs may be, if they improve codecs, BT support, etc. Don't sleep on the Beats brand of earbuds; for the price, they are genuinely great sets. The Buds+ are very good performers and the most comfortable set I own. With the Spinfit Omnis, these disappear in my ears. ANC is solid, transparency is serviceable. Sound quality is very good. The Fits Pros are the best option if you're active; one of the best "secure" fits out of dozens of buds, second only to the Powerbeats Pros. The Beats brand gets a lot of eye rolls due to brand stigma, but I don't care about the label on the box. If something works well for its intended use, I'll buy it. In this case, depending on the sales, the Buds+ can be an exceptionally good value. I did not include the device manufacturer earbuds on my list, like the Galaxy and Pixel Buds Pros; these are honestly excellent sets in their own right, but I do not use the devices they're most integrated with and thus I cannot test them fully so it's hard to do a fair comparison. But if you use those devices, they are also great -- and cheap -- options. For my part, I ended up daily driving the Sennheiser Momentum TW 4s; although it's not at the top of any of my lists, it is the best all around performer, getting close to the sound quality of the Technics and Denons, ANC that's nearly as good as the Sony's, but with an app and features that are more robust (and with better UX) than the Technics and Denon apps. On the whole, it's my favorite set to use for work and travel, some light media consumption, and around the house use. However, if I don't want to pull out one of my wired IEM, but I want to listen to music or other media and have the best possible experience, it's the Denons or Technics.

This is a repost, but is still relevant. Sony and Bose are still the leads if ANC is your main priority. However, they are much further down the list if you're prioritizing sound quality/tuning. My current rotation consists of the Denon Perl Pros, Technics AZ100s/AZ80s, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4, Bowers & Wilkins Pi8, and a few other budget options (JLab Epic Lab, Beats Fit Pros, etc.). The Devialet Gemini II and Noble Audio Rex5 are both pricier sets, but the Gemini II -- while it's an excellent sounding earbud -- had several issues that held it back for me. The deal breaker in my case was latency, which was quite high even for a TWS. The Rex5 is the best earbud Noble has put out thus far, but they need to make improvements to their app and overall user experience. My current rotation looks something like the AZ100s, MTW4 and Denon Perl Pro, as each provides a good overall balance of battery life, sound quality, and features. The AZ100s have excellent ANC, that gets close to competing with Sony and Bose, but is a slight downgrade in some areas of the frequency response compared to the AZ80s. The battery life is excellent, however, which makes them a contender as my main travel earbud. The Denon Perl Pros with AAT can be one of the best sounding buds on the market, but AAT can be hit or miss for some and is very tip dependent -- and I do suggest you change the tips, to something like the Dunu S&S. The Perl Pros also offer an EQ over the top of the AAT correction, which is a nice touch. I still reach for the MTW4 a lot of the time as well; with Sound Personalization it is still one of the best sounding earbuds on the market, with very solid ANC and transparency. The new Smart Control Plus app finally allows you to disable ANC, which was the only real weak point of this set. I was not as sold on the Pi8, although I found the "case as transmitter" feature much more useful than I assumed it would be. I preferred the bass response of the Pi7 S2. In general the Pi8 feels a bit safer, and a bit more boring, for lack of a better word. It is still an excellent sounding earbud if you prefer a more balanced, more neutral tuning that prioritizes clarity and detail. I tend to lean towards warmth and energy, and so it didn't quite make the top of my list. If you’re a neutral plus bass boost lover, it doesn’t get much better than the Pi8 in this price range. TL;DR: For now, this market is still juggling a "winner" and you'll be hard pressed to decide what is the “best” for the price -- no matter if it comes at a premium. Of all the major brands, I lean heavily toward the MTW4, Denon Perl Pro, AZ100 (unless you enjoy metal/rock, then replace this with the AZ80), and the Pi8, in that specific order. If you want a more budget conscious set, you can often find the JLab Epic Lab for half the price of the aforementioned brands, and it’s a set that’s not recommended enough. Excellent sound quality and decent ANC for the price.

I need to weigh in as a Beats Fit Pro user and someone who never used the original PBP1’s. When I first put the PBP2’s in they immediately sounded terrible, like a tin can, and my response was “return these immediately”. Two days later, playing with different ear tips, and adjusting the angles how they sit in the ear I can tell you these are great buds. It’s all about the fit and making sure you play around with the ear tip test to make sure you have the right seal. Once you do, these come to life. I hope there are not too many people returning these immediately as was my first reaction. Now how much better are they than the Beats Fit Pro on sound? I would say 10-15%, but noticeable. The beats fit pro’s have been my daily workout driver for three years and I love the fit and sound. Do they have the latest tech no, and the PBP2’s definitely have all the latest bells and whistles which differentiate them enough to keep them as part of my collection. I can tell you these PBP2’s are growing on me and the sound was full and rich on my morning run. My takeaway here is they don’t sound amazing I would definitely play with the seal and fit for a bit. Some combinations didn’t feel good at first but I think I found my perfect size now. Initial thoughts for anyone looking to return them immediately, give it time, but it is true everyone’s ears are different and only you will know if they make sense. Am I eagerly anticipating the Beats Fit Pro 2’s, absolutely, but I can see a place for both because I am a workout earbud junkie. Hope this helps anyone that had first doubts about the PBP2’s to be a bit more patient as the fit/seal out of the box did make them feel like $50 headphones. Now if I can just get this heart rate monitoring to work…

I like them. I ordered Beats Fit Pro because of the positive reviews, but never got them to work. The left one would not charge and when I removed one (it didn't matter if it was left or right), they dropped the connection. I returned them and received a new pair. The new pair stayed connected, but the left earbud still wouldn't charge and never worked. I give up on Beats. Raycon Fitness was recommended and was much cheaper. They worked great right from the start. I am not an audiophile, my hearing is crap already (permanent/constant tinnitus and hearing loss in the higher frequencies), so the sound quality is plenty good for me. The ANC works as well as my AirPods (which helps with my tinnitus - note, this isn't the case for everyone with tinnitus), and they stay in my ears (which AirPods don't do). Overall, I'm very happy with them.

I have some Beats Fit Pro (for some reason, not on the beats website but available on Amazon). They have a transparency mode so that you can remain aware, but also offer a full noise cancellation option. Comfortable in ear with little wings to keep them put (but don't hook around the ear if that makes sense?) IIRC there's an app for android which gives you a couple of extra features also (I'm on iPhone so can't comment on that specifically)

Beats Fit Pro or Sony Linkbuds Fit are the two that I know of. Both have "premium" pricing though. I've just bought the Sony. My decision was because I use Android, the Sony are the newer product (I know this doesn't necessarily mean they're better), and the foam wings on the Beats are evidently prone to breaking. Very happy with the sound quality, although after 4 or 5 runs with the Sony I'm still doing some trial and error with the different size tips to make them feel as secure as I want.

My commute is relativly noisy so it's not practical for me to prioritize audio quality since intrusive noise does affect sound. And I don't want to spend a fortune when I can get superior sound at home through wired monitors connected to my computer. So my choice is not ideal for you, but I use Beats Fit Pro earpods, around US $160. Good sound, works with Spatial Audio, has good noise cancellation. EQ in Settings does a nice job of improving music quality. (I'm constantly switching between Rock or R&B and Spoken Word depending on if I'm listening to music or podcasts.)

They're worth the price, and the Pros are worth their price too. I strongly recommend budgeting the extra $29 for 2 years of AppleCare+, which protects against accidental damage and battery replacement ($29 service fee). I had Beats Fit Pro with AppleCare+ and after 23 months I noticed the rubber wings which hold the earbuds in-ear were both tearing - I took them to my Apple Store and they swapped them with replacement refurb units with brand new batteries. I now have these earbuds for over 3 years and I can see using them for at least one more before I upgrade to something new.

I'd compare them to the first gen Air Pods Pro in terms of performance and the conveniences of the features. I love them and if they broke I'd get another pair without hesitation. I've had mine for about 3 years. I'm cautious with my stuff, but I use them while sweating a lot and they seem to still be going strong.

They also have the best transparency of any of the in ear options you had in your list, thanks to Apple’s H1 chip, which helps for running, but they’ll pick up wind noise when cycling because of the mic placement, so beware.

This might be controversial but because you have big ears, if you’re okay with a wingtip, beats fit pro are solid. They’ve got a bit of a bass boost, but sound great to me. Battery is 6 hours with anc, 7 without. anc is solid but not top tier like Sony, and the mic gets the job done. I’ve never had issues taking call on them. Note: be aware that the wing might take a few days to get used to but after that they became very comfortable. I would not have suggested them if you had small ears for that very reason. They are a bit older but they still kick butt imo

Either of those 2 pairs should do

While that might be true, larger drivers can push more air and have more bass potential by design. What companies do with that is what matters more but a 9.5 mm driver has substantially less surface area than a 12mm driver, so it has to work harder to create equivalent bass energy. PBP2 and BFP both having the same driver size now and similar acoustic chambers is probably why they sound so similar. I work with audio gear all the time as a musician and driver sizes are something that matters, but not to a large extent outside of things like subwoofers and stage speakers.

I know this sounds basic but AirPods seem to be one of the best earbuds for reliability in this exact situation. Many earbuds I’ve had have ran into the one ear stops working problem, but I’ve had 4 different models of AirPods and this never occurred. If you’re not an iPhone user then any of nothing’s earbuds will do good, I’ve seen that they don’t run into issues often. Beats fit pro also was very reliable for me, so I can vouch for those too. IMO stay away from Sony, Bose, and sennheiser when it comes to earbuds. I’m not sure why but they cannot seem to get their reliability under control

Fit pro have better transparency by a long shot and a few more features, essentially they are APP1 in a sport package. Also the button seems nicer to press than SB+. As for sound, fit pro have less treble and more bass, but overall quality is similar. ANC on fit pro is practically the same performance as APP1, and studio buds plus are very close but slightly worse. I’d recommend fit pro personally, unless you can’t stand the wingtip

I’ve had both, the fit pro are definitely overall better, but the 4 anc have more features and a much smaller case. Comfort will depend on your ear shape, but 4 anc will likely be more comfortable for most people. To keep it simple: fit pro if you are comfortable with its wingtip, 4 ANC if you aren’t, or want access to adaptive audio and better portability

If you don’t mind wingtips, try beats fit pro. If you want a hook instead I recommend skullcandy push ANC active. Both pairs have anc, transparency, and a solid unshakable fit. And fyi, it might take a few days to get used to the wingtip of the fit pro, but after that they become very comfortable.

One LT issue. The little wing tip will tear at the stress point and break off over time. To avoid this always lift in & out of case and ear using the rectangular ish body section (where the “b” is). You can’t buy replacement curly wing tips. only replacement in ear bud tips. I prefer them to Apple Air Pods. They fit better and don’t fall off. Two years of constant use and the battery is still very good.

Late to this post, but I wanted to say that I don't think these are worth the price tag. Within the first year the wingtips tore off, and they started to have an awful 'wooshing' sound to them whenever I used ANC. I was able to get that fixed, but now, nearly three years later of near daily wear and I'm having to retire them. The worse is that whatever the coating is on them is peeling off, and little black flecks of plastic paint/coating are left everywhere whenever I try to clean them or rub on them too hard. It's frankly disgusting. I'm not 'rough' with them, but even my original Airpods held up better than this. On top of that, I've had issues where they don't pair correctly- making one ear significantly softer sounding than the other. Apple support is of no help, and because they are no longer under warranty, I'm SOL on these. I wish I had waited and invested either in Airpod Pros or another comparable Bud-type headphone.

I use these as well and love them. I do sometimes have to make minor/minimal adjustments here and there during the run to make sure the wing portion of it is staying in the ear correctly, but this doesn’t bother me. They’ve never fallen out, sound is great, and transparency mode works well for hearing my surroundings. I assume that with any earbuds, occasionally having to adjust them back into place is natural and part of the game. These require a minimal amount of that. As a general set of earbuds, the mic is poor for phone calls, but sound and fit for running is fantastic. No issues with glasses at all.

I really like the Beats Fit Pro. They have most of the features of the Airpods Pro with a better form factor for me (plus colors, if you care about that). My few complaints (no wireless charging, not findable in case) could be fixed with a new version in 2025. In the meantime, they are $50 cheaper than the Pros (and you can get a refurb pair for like $100.

[Beats Fit Pro](https://www.reddit.com/user/Ashamed_Bike_7453/comments/1jidgww/workout_earbuds_recommendations/) are great for the gym. They have a little wing-tip that keeps them snug. Fantastic earbuds. Highly recommend. Plus, They pair effortlessly with Apple devices and offer features like one-touch pairing, “Hey Siri” voice commands, and audio sharing.

Beats Fit Pros are good. I initially used them but returned them since I wanted AirPods Pro 2 for the enhanced features. They also work nicely.

Omg finally. Been waiting for these for years. I loved my beats fit pro, but the wing tips finally tore a bit. APP simply don’t fit my ears. I’ve been using Sennheiser MTW4 the last few weeks. They are pretty great and have lots of fit options, but Siri support isn’t great.

The Beats Fit Pro had mics, so I imagine yes. I never had complaints about using the mic on mine.

Yes. Granted I didn’t use it often, no work calls etc.

Beats Fit Pros with the Wedge all day! Great sound quality and you can do cartwheels and they won’t fall out.

I use the beats fit pro. The wingtips stop it from falling it off. So it's pretty stable during movement.

True ANC alone won't cut it off. But music at 65% volume does the trick decently. Have been using them for about 2+ yrs.

I've been using "Beats" ear inserts for 7 years and love them. On my second pair. My first pair lasted over 6 years and are still awesome and usable, just wore out from all the use.

My best guess for you would be Powerbeats Pro 2 or Beats Fit Pro. They sound okay decent tbh, nothing mind-blowing, but both are very secure tbh, especially if you wear them under a helmet. Bose QC Ultra earbuds are kinda winged, more comfortable than secure tbh.

There's no "best" but Apple is the most seamless to use because it automatically pairs with all your apple devices and it's so easy to switch between them all. For working out I use the Beats fit pro because it has wingtips so they don't fall out of my ears like the Airpods Pros do when I run. I also like to use my Open run 2 bone conduction headphones but those don't cover your ears and meant more for running outside to be aware of your surroundings

Yeah. I have and love my beats fit pro and airpods pro 2nd gen and don't know if I want to spend 250 on these, especially when I see the bose quietcomforts (the qc35 is the the most comfy headphones i've ever used) on sale for the same price.

Love my Fit Pros, would be very interested in these if the price was right, couldn’t get a good fit with AirPods Pro

I just went with AirPod pros. Stay in my ears better and the noise cancellation is beyond compare in a loud gym. Some leak, but otherwise love em. This is mainly due to the face my wife told me I’d look like a dork with over the ear headphones lol
