"with a loop so they never fall out. ... Great for exercising!"

"They stay in place no matter how intense the run"

"They never fall out."

"the clip design is great for keeping them on ear even during sweaty runs. ... I found that the medium ear tips slightly push out after a very sweaty run, so I went up to the large tips and have had zero issues."

"incredible for anyone who... sweats a lot"

"hold up well after sweating during a long workout."

"amazing quality of sound. ... The sound quality is so much better than I was expecting. ... In some audiobooks I can even hear when the narrator pauses their recording between chapters LOL"

"purple sounded amazing"

"Slapped on old pi7 large tips (I usually don’t need large) and they sound really, really good. ... Similar to APP2. ... But trust me, this worked 1000%. ... I was so sure these were junk. I was wrong."

"the battery life easily lasts 10+ hours."

"For Ultras I run with one in ear + one in pocket, and swap when the battery goes flat. For 10+ hour events I will carry the case and charge on the go ... turn off the PowerBeats HRM and increase battery life"

"Great battery ... I mean really great battery though. ... If I'm only using 1 earbud, usually at work, I wouldn't have to charge it (and the case) for multiple days at a time despite at least 4 hours of use a day."

"over ear loops so they don’t fall out ... which is a huge problem for me"

"Beats Pros were my favorite (best fit and comfort)"

"After using them now at the gym for like a week I think the new ones are more comfortable too. Like I don't even feel them when wearing."

"I tried several different songs/types of music and keep switching between my OG PBP and these, and the OG PBP blow them out of the water in regards to sound. ... these are the worst sounding earbuds I've ever used. And I own APP 2, OG PBP, and AirPods 4. And I love them all"

"Similar experience in the gym, they actually ruined the workout lol"

"But the sound is awful. ... It is inferior to the previous and definitely inferior to the Sennheiser Sport which I have. ... the high / treble is painful and tinny. ... The lows don't exist. ... You raise the volume and it is shrill almost and feels like it will destroy your ears, you keep the volume low and you don't hear anything in the low range."

"they crapped out just after my apple care on them expired so I refused to buy another pair."

"the case stopped charging the buds tonight (the case is fully charged). ... Garbage is garbage."

"like 30% of the time the buds don't actually make physical connection in the case and I wake up to one dead ear bud."

"for some reason when playing a song they keep stopping. ... A quick press of the button and song picks up where it stopped but three times while playing one song. Again phone in loose shorts side pocket screen outward."

"The pair I have stopped working after 8 months. ... Intermittently only one ear would connect when I put them in (it would switch between left and right) and now the right one won't connect at all."

"Randomly my right ear bud started to disconnect ... after going through some trouble shooting I forgot this device but now what’s happening is the right ear bud won’t charge at all. ... With the right earbud not making connection at all I can’t even get the case to connect either lol. ... taken into consideration that these are 11 days old and I’ve not used them every day"

"I looked forward to these because I liked the thought of the heart sensor built in but very disappointed."

"Automatic Switching between Apple Devices not there, a feature all Apple users live 👎🏾"

"missing so many features that AirPods Pro 2 and even AirPods 4 supports: - Adaptive Audio - Conversation Awareness - Personalized Volume - Head gestures to respond to notifications"

"they simply don't stay in ear. Especially during workouts"

"I use beats but they are big, bulky and uncomfortable"

"Could never got a good fit and I tried every singe tip size."

Same here. Transparency mode for when I could be near traffic, livestock, dogs etc. Noise cancelling for the rest of the time

I really like my Powerbeats Pro 2, they sounds great and fit well with the Apple ecosystem. I use them over the AirPods Pro 1

I used to think like that too, totally with the idea of the small case small form factor for everyday use but the powerbears hit different, the first couple of days when i got the first powerbeats it wasn't fun to fiddle with the hook but then it became a second nature i don't even think about it and i got it for the gym nothing more because the buds that i had back then were falling out of my ears everytime. The second i got used to it i started using it daily not giving a shit about the case size cause they eere that good and loud, then i got the fit pro it was the same thing fiddle with the hook get used to it but now the ANC is an extra plus on top of all the good things about the powerbeats just the noise level is a bit quieter. Now the powerbeats 2is a different story i love it, it's almost the same thing as the powerbeats one but has ANC I don't really care about the heart rate monitor i have my watch to do that. I. Short the powerbeats 2 is in my opinion the best out of all of them eventho i hate the look of it but who cares once you put them on. You have to try it for couple of days to get used to it.

Since mukhang willing ka naman na dalawa yung gamit mo: 1. Powerbeats Pro 2 for the gym - solid na rin ANC neto if maingay sa gym mo, or if you simply don't want being bothered 2. Shokz Opendots One - open ear para safe ka sa long runs If budget won't allow, just go for PB2 tapos disable nalang ANC when doing long runs

Just got my v2, updated it, tested the fit, and then did an extensive sound comparison test against Powerbeats Pro 1, AirPods Pro 1 & 2, Sony XM4, and DT990 Pro (Motu M2). The most disappointing comparison was against its own gen 1...as the OP said, the highs are tiny, harsh, and the mids are muddy/unclear overall at some point. I would rank the PBPv2 last on my list. I will promptly return it and continue to use the gen 1, despite its battery issues.

They are terrible for $29.95 TJ Maxx grab and go so the $250 they cost hurts. Coming from Galaxy Buds Pro 2 these are ridiculously bad sounding. Tinny and flat. MKBHD was lavishing the praise for these so I thought I'd give them a try. Super disappointed. What is another over the ear option that someone could recommend.

Dre best pros gen 2 do a really good job, but the safest option is bone conductive headsets. Edit: the name was actually Beats Powerbeats Pro 2

Beats Powerbeats Pro 2. They have little hooks to keep them on your ears and they stay in even on rough gravel roads.

Powerbeats Pro, either the original (cheap now) or the new ones with noise cancelling and transparency. They have the hooks so they ain't going anywhere. Pop one of these on and off you go. If you need both ears turn on transparency mode. Benefit of these over something like Shokz is that you can use them for your everyday headphones as well.

Powerbeats pro 2. Noise cancelling/transparency+ over ear hooks so they won't fall out. Small and light.
