"amazing, amazing, amazing ANC performance for earbuds! ... not even close in ANC performance vs these (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024)) ... I, for ANC, prefer the approach Bose takes, blocking out pretty much all frequencies."

"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."

"noise cancelling headphones are such a blessing for me. i've always been sensitive to noise and i get overstimulated easy when out in public. they give me silence and privacy when I need it. worth every cent!"

"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"it sounds fucking amazing. ... I was blown away at Best Buy. I thought this was fake somehow like there is no way this thing is producing that bass and that level. ... The speaker is phenomenal. ... At first it was almost too bass heavy; but after an hour or two of playtime it broke in and the mids came alive, without loosing any bass. ... it still sounds fucking incredible."

"DIRAC which is like Dolby sound, so the soundstage is immersive and incredible. ... I could hear the orchestra turning the pages of their music. I could hear the hair of the bow as it glided across the bridge of a violin. It was like being in the middle of a concert hall. It was a little insane for this price range. ... The music had a broader soundstage back then in the studio...they took their time. Tweak your streaming service to lossless quality too, and then close your eyes and imagine the music happening TO YOU. Music should be a whole experience, not a time killer."

"still have quality sound and bass ... With a slight adjustment in the bass on Spotify + spatial sound, the Airpods fly! The bass and quality of the Airpods almost reach the same level as the XM4!"

"Have run 3 half's and 2 fulls, never have ran out of battery provided they are properly charged beforehand."

"I use it for the same reasons and love it. ... I would not consider the regular Apple Watch because of battery life."

"the battery life easily lasts 10+ hours."

"most importantly, they have a new completely re-written app and it ACTUALLY WORKS. This was by FAR my biggest complaint with previous Bose earbuds. ... These have truly been flawless, including multipoint. ... The headphones actually connect to the app every time (what a concept), do so quickly, consistently, no dropouts. ... The app itself is also great, very user-friendly with a decent amount of customization with voice and touch controls. ... HUGE improvement compared to previous generations. ... These have been night and day better so far. They connect to the new app consistently, no dropouts, it feels much more like their other products like the NC700 over-ears I have. ... I still use them daily for both work and general use, and they still work perfectly fine. Every once in a while I'll have a drop but it's night and day different from the previous QCE2s. When those dropped, I would be fighting for hours to get it to reconnect. These, worst case it's a couple seconds. And this happens quite infrequently, I notice it mostly when I'm in a busy area like a plane and using the multipoint to swap between tab and phone. ... Basically no issues whatsoever when I'm just at my desk."

"with latest update installed, I haven't had a single issue with them with the heaviest of testing."

"i will say i ve had 0 issues with bose s new qc (the $180 pair) connectivity wise ... newer bose has those issues mostly ironed out"

"Also I would never use them for the gym because I found they were not the most secure."

"3 pro for me don't work properly in heavy weight workouts ... I've lost each ear bud 6 times today while bench press and shoulders training ... hate this smooth surface and form."

"could use neither and sent back ... really hurt my (small) ears"

"constant connectivity issues I experienced. ... The buds would randomly not turn on when taken out of the case, or just one wouldn't turn on, or they wouldn't connect, or sometimes the buds would randomly disconnect/reconnect, or sometimes the buds would disconnect from each other. ... I really wanted to keep them but they were borderline unusable, even after an update."

"Also connection with iPhone has always been terrible. ... Dropped connections, sometimes it just won ’t connect."

"they would constantly disconnect from my s23."

"Be warned neither are very good for phone calls. ... Both had people on the other end of my calls telling me they had a hard time hearing me whenever there was any significant background noise. ... Both are actually pretty bad at phone calls, especially when compared to other headphones and headsets I have. ... I was actually really surprised with how bad both of them are when it comes to phone calls. ... These are definitely not a pair of earbuds you could wear around your office if you are expecting to make and receive phone calls on them. ... I have not had a single phone call on either one of these where someone did not make a comment about how poorly I sounded on the phone. ... Was blown away at how bad they are. ... these are hands down the worst 2 for phone calls."

"I have to disconnect them when using the phone because ppl can't hear what I say while using them. ... Drives me crazy."

"O my i just tested these again during a number of calls and using different phones and wow they are awful!! ... but once it gets a little challenging these fall apart ... A complete fail sorry.. ... I'm getting barely any background noise cancellation with either set ... My voice comes through clear but the background is still there but maybe 30% of the volume. Tried with crowd noise at 65db"

"So freaking true! I've returned my Shokz Open Air's 4 times. ... It's so frustrating."

"For people that have not lost their hearing yet and can still hear very high-pitched noises, these earbuds produce a constant high-pitched sound even when both ANC and transparancy mode are disabled. ... This sound is amplified greatly when transparancy mode is enabled so I guess it's related to that feature"

"For Bose, Your *hair* can cause these issues. Their customer service well actually ask you if your hair was near your ears! I wish I was joking... ... And then the ANC will start toggling itself between, *Quiet,Aware,Immersion* repeatedly, the stupid voice saying it over, and over again until you put then back into the case to reset them. If you're home that's fine, but if you're in the middle of a 2-hour workout and nowhere near the case you're done. So you have to take them off, stick them in your pocket until you can get back to the car."

"What really sucks is that they automatically turn off after about 20 minutes. This only happens when I'm lying down. ... But once I lie down during my break, while taking a nap, or when I want to sleep and my neighbor is being loud, they turn themselves off. ... I wake up and find them disconnected, turned off, and with 100% battery. ... Sure enough, when I took a nap today, the buds turned off ~20 minutes into my nap."

"a sensor that put them to sleep if you stop moving….. so if you fell asleep in them, they wake you up."

"There doesn't seem to be a way to disable this. ... Sometimes, when it connects to the app, it says something about "turning off battery optimization," but I can't find that option anywhere on the app. ... The new QCE app doesn't have that setting, even though I occasionally get a pop-up that says I can set this in the "Battery Optimization" tab. ... The app they force you to use is really watered-down though, so even if it's a settings issue, there's no way for me to fix it through the app."

I have the Bose QuietComfort, sound quality is good (what is to be expected from Bose) though, while they do stay in my ears well, they are a bit uncomfortable. Connectivity is also a little shotty (they'll go in and out every once in a while). UPDATE: I purchased these on August 7th and as of today (the 18th) the right earbud is not connecting to the charging case. I'm going to see if I can swap them out for the QC IIs instead.

I’m having similar issues with the QC I buds. I have issues with connectivity as well (both with Bluetooth and with the charging case).

same, i jus got the bose ultra 2nd gen the $300. and people are saying its so good. its just ok. really expected more. I would say the anc is better. But the quality of sound/music is just ok. i think the airpods pro are probably best all around. however the nose does have longer battery. good luck mate

JBL Tour, Bose QC, Sony XM4 and XM5, Liberty NC4... They all sound better but like I said, AirPods Pro 2 truly shine with their seamless integration into the Apple Ecosystem, transparent mode, ANC and call quality. You can basically put them on and forget they're there

I just got a pair and they’re going balk. I’ve never experienced anything as bad as the connection first time. Now the left earbud has completely died. The customer service is appalling. They’ve just left me hanging there a couple of times.

I finally decided to get a pair of Bose quiet comfort earbuds. They initially worked for like 30 minutes and then stopped working. I’ve sent them back today. People may not like to hear this but if you have an iPhone, the best earbuds are the AirPods second generation.

I see. I have the OnePlus buds 4, Earfun Air pro 4, Soundpeats H3, Bose Quietcomfort 2024. The ANC on OnePlus Buds 4 is quite good. Not sure about the tube though. My usage is more towards office noise. The ANC works great with office noise. But the best ANC among the 4 earbuds is Bose Quietcomfort 2024.

I have buds 2 pro, airpod pro, and bose quiet comfort buds. Galaxy buds are good, not great. Anc is acceptable, transparency is a little tinny/echoey. My biggest complaint is that you can't use transparency with only one buds in which is my most common use since I wear them at work. Air pod pros were great. I used to have an iPhone so that's why I automatically went with them a couple years ago. Anc is great, transparency is very clear and can be used with just one bud. My complaint here was that they just didn't play well with my flip 6. I had weird times where the volume would spike or drop and I could never remember the stem controls for changing the modes. Bose quiet comfort buds (not the ultras) are my winner. No stem, though they do stick out a bit from the ear. Excellent anc and transparency that work with just one bud in. They stay in my ears better and have a really good app. The bass is just incredible compared to the others. It really blew me away at first. I also can't remember the last time I charged them. For them all being about the same price I'd go Bose 100%

Yes quite frustrating when watching a movie in bed before dozing off.. it does cut off connection if you dont move your head.. sound for movies are excellent pity bose not even listening to any of our problems or request at all.. ive also sent a support msg to them and theres no replies at all.. this earbuds only work well for my web meetings and while im actively moving around.. wish they would just address this simple issue.. if they dont fix this issue i think eventually we all will move on to other brands in future.. bose no longer carries the hardworking spirit anymore and they are just getting rich, fat and lazy..

I just bought the Bose Quiet Comfort (2024) and they do a great job. Ear buds with stems will never do as good a job as the nub style on ANC in my opinion. The fit and seal is a big part of noise cancellation. My wife has the Airpods Pro and they don't come close to the Bose. My primary use case is phone and teams calls, in and out of the office as I have better ear buds for music and the tests showed the Bose also had excellent mic quality - better than the XM5 ear buds. Music is not bad at all but certainly not reference quality.

Update: I was still in the return window and sent the Bose back. A lot of drop out and connectivity issues. Sad because on every other aspect they were pretty solid.
