I’m right there with you!! I LOVE the Bluetooth version with the wire linking the earbuds (and the clip in the middle). My original pair started dying recently (had them about 4.5 years). I had bought a spare pair a few years back and am so i did that. I should have gotten two! I wish Bose would bring those back. I haven’t seen an alternative that even comes close and am actually thinking about getting one of those second hand pairs as another backup. I actually still have a couple pairs of the wired ones too (with the trusty old headphone jack). That line was so great.

I love the Bose sound sports but they have stopped selling them. I’ve had 3 pairs and I got my 3rd pair second hand from cex. Might even buy another pair if they are knocking around in case I put this set in the washing machine as well. I like them for the wire that sits on my neck so I can knock a bud out if needs be. The totally wireless ones I find annoying that if I want to remove one I then have to hold it

I just returned my 3rd set of QC earbuds. Upgraded from SoundSport wireless for a discount on QCII. They failed within 3 months. They gave me a free upgrade to QC Ultra. They failed within 4 months. I asked whether I could get the Ultra Open earbuds or a credit refund for the QC Ultras toward the Open earbuds, and they said no. So what I'm going to do now is get my second pair of QC Ultras (third pair in the QC earbud line) and sell them in the sealed package locally. I'm going to put that money toward a pair of TOZO open earbuds to try them (they were way cheaper and on discount). If they're no good, I'll try Shokz. I told this to Bose in my comments regarding service. I was willing to try the Open earbuds, but I did not want another pair of QCs. They do not fit my ears, even with the extra sized tips I had to special order (free, but still inconvenient). They fell out all the time when I walked, cycled, or chewed, especially if I got sweaty. The SoundSport tips were great and I loved that the buds were connected to each other. The sound was good, the fit was good, and, aside from charge time, battery life, and calendar degradation, they were great headphones. They could easily improve upon all three of those problems with a new version and new technology.

Bose soundsport wireless. They’re discontinued but you can grab them on eBay for like $50. They’re absolutely amazing sound quality wise and comfortability.

Everyone loves shokz but personally my favorite are Bose quiet comfort II. I always end up going back to Bose… the quality is just top notch and they are always the most comfortable and reliable (ie they never fall out) in my experience ETA before this I used the Bose sound sports (wire together but Bluetooth - which I loved and still use as a backup sometimes) and the Bose sport buds or whatever the successor to the sound sports were (not wire together), but I lost one and they don’t sell them anymore, hence the upgrade. They’ve all been the best of the best imo, Bose never disappoints.

The quiet comfort ii’s are the best earbuds I’ve ever used! They stay in so well, quality is top tier, and the battery lasts sooo long. Before these I had the sound sports and loved them too, I’ve tried a handful of non-Bose earbuds and none of them come close imo, I always end up splurging on them because it’s honestly just worth it

I had the Bose soundsports. They were the best sounding earbuds I've ever had & you could fast forward & rewind with them instead of only being able to skip. The batteries only lasted just over a year though.

Still using my Samsung Galaxy buds2 pro. Not perfect but great earbuds. Sony Xm4s were what I used before but Sony basically nuked them with firmware updates and refused to refund them. They would heat up charging and were hot to touch, lasted maybe 30 minutes before having to charge again. Before that, they were near perfect after getting foam comply tips. My favorite earbuds have been Galaxy buds pro though, almost perfect in everyway if you didn't care much about ANC, not a priority for me ambient sound is. Good battery, sound, comfortable, everything. Pixel buds 1 were just meh, Bose soundsport free were too heavy and uncomfortable but sound great, Bose soundsport wireless were great until I got sick of the wire. Next buds I want to try are one of Sony linkbuds 2 whenever they come out, Soundcore AeroFit Pro Open-Ear, or SHOKZ OpenFit Open-Ear. I'd like to try a good open ear earbud/headphones as earbuds seem to really be messing up peoples hearing, mine includes. It's not bad, could just be "age" but 28 so I don't know.

I really wish they would bring the SoundSport line back. My wireless pair is falling apart (luckily still working) and I can't even replace it. 😭

+1 on the Sound Sports. They need to fix the whole flap that covers the charging port tho. When I saw that on unboxing I correctly predicted a future where it would just break loose and fall off. Even so, would buy again.

I use Bose Sound Sport which have flexible plastic ear clips/hooks to keep them in my ear. They have about 75 feet of connection and never have had an issue of them falling out doing box jumps, burpees, or dubs - high impact bouncing. They're not cheap but I've had them for over four years and still love them.

Apple AirPods for when at the desk and need to take calls. Super comfy and amazing sound for both. And Bose SoundSport for home when doing chores or working out or taking dogs for walk (also calls are excellent). They have wire between the two ear buds that makes it easy to pop one bud out to hear ambient noise or talk to someone and NOT lose the bud by putting it in pocket or on a counter.

I prefer the corded wireless ones. Tethered together so if they fall out It’s easier to find. So, Beats Flex all-day or Bose Soundsport wireless (older model)

I LOVED the Bose sound sport and I'm so disappointed they stopped making them. The Bose sport buds that replaced them are just not the same. The so not stay in my ears properly and they are always falling out.

Cheers. I miss my Bose sound sports. They were the best before all the ANC stuff. Just nice sounding no bullshit buds.

Oh how I was so excited to get mine and I loved them until I went for a run. Sound is amazing but there was a random popping noise in both buds when my feet hit the floor. That and the poor audio on phone calls. The person on the other end could hear nothing. I loved my Bose sound sports. Don’t know why they couldn’t have kept those around. Simple no bs headphones.

I’ve had a pair of Bose SoundSports for about 5 years and love them. I use them for 5/6 hours per week, and though the battery only holds a charge for about two hours now, they still sound great. Battery held up fantastically for about the first three years.

They (Bose quiet comfort 2 earbuds) are terrible on phone calls though. I can barely hear the caller. They aren’t that loud for audio while working out. The sound sports still do so much better than anything else I have seen but sadly don’t have ANC. They do have the best fit. The sound sport free is also not bad but heavier so don’t stay in the ears as well. The over ear headphone are so hit or miss in terms of comfort. They all feel like shitty plastic. Are there some ultra high end anc ear buds people don’t talk about? Maybe some costly device?
