Bose - Sport Earbuds

Everyone loves shokz but personally my favorite are Bose quiet comfort II. I always end up going back to Bose… the quality is just top notch and they are always the most comfortable and reliable (ie they never fall out) in my experience ETA before this I used the Bose sound sports (wire together but Bluetooth - which I loved and still use as a backup sometimes) and the Bose sport buds or whatever the successor to the sound sports were (not wire together), but I lost one and they don’t sell them anymore, hence the upgrade. They’ve all been the best of the best imo, Bose never disappoints.

I use Bose Sport Earbuds. They aren’t technically noise cancelling, but they’ll block out conversation level noise. They never fall out no matter what workout I’m doing, and they sound incredible for the price. I’ve had them for 5 years now, use daily, and have had zero issues. Highly recommended.

I owned Bose Sport Earbuds for two years and finally lost one :( I found that this product was not really popular here on Reddit but I actually was happy with them. Most important factor for me is sound quality. I also own older Onkyo E700, Sony NW-W623 and some newer and cheaper Soundcore. Bose had far better sound than any of them. Another must is a sweat protection as I use them for running. Any specific recommendations to skip annoying test and trials? In-Ear, sound quality not worse than Sport Earbuds and sweat protection (at least IP4). Any brand.

I received LinkBudsS and here's a quick recap: Sound Quality: Overall very good. Resolution is great but frequency response is flatter than in Bose like in monitor headphones. Good for classic and jazz and we can EQ techno on the phone but it seems the equalizer is on the phone, not in buds so on the workout with Garmin when you need a blast it doesn't work. For workouts the sound is dull, unfortunately. Volume is also well below Bose so when you need a boost on the last mile you can't get it here. Fit: much more insulated than Bose (with largest inserts) and also very secure. Bose used to slip out when I sweat a lot . With Sony I don't have this problem. Due to the very insulated space behind the buds in the ears there are some unpleasant feelings on a run (like small pumps in your ears) but not that much. There's no or very little thudding. I would vote for Sony for fit even though Bose felt loose in ears and it was pretty comfortable, without compromising sound quality and loudness. Controls: taps don't work when you sweat. At all. Other things like ANC: It works. Overall Bose Sport Earbuds were better buds for sports because of being louder, with more appropriate FRC and working controls while sweating. I'll miss them. LinkBudsS with potentially better resolution, flatter FRC and more features like a much better smartphone app, ANC, more modern Bluetooth stack and better build quality are better for everything else.

My favorite are Bose QC EarBuds II: * great sound quality + very comfortable * unbeatable ANC * minus - touch control And my second best for when wearing hat/gloves, wet hands and anything like that: * real buttons, not false or missed clicks * good sound quality, needs some EQ tuning * comfortable - ANC is okay For when on bike I use Bose Sport: * unnoticeable in ears * can still hear all the surroundings * cable so I am not afraid of them falling off * needs some Bluetooth adapter - I use cheap APEKX from Amazon which I clip to my jersey and can operate without looking at it. In pool AfterShokz Xtrainer (I believe it is discontinued now and they have OpenWater or something like that): - sounds much better in water, but you need to use earplugs. Still quality is just bearable. - minus - not very comfortable and every time I have some unpleasant sensations around ears - minus - controls. You can easily set it to some weird mode like "repeat this one song" and need to read manual for how to turn the mode off. Additionally, many time I found it playing while in my bag due to some random clicks while packing the bag.

Have bose sport earbuds. The sound is very nice but for calls, not great. They work. Had pixel a series that were so much better. Put a lot of hours on those and sweat. They stopped working sadly. The series a were my favorite buds of all time. I'd go pixel buds if I had a choice. Though I also have a cheap $40 pair from amazon call flybuds and they've lasted quite some time with no issues.

I LOVED the Bose sound sport and I'm so disappointed they stopped making them. The Bose sport buds that replaced them are just not the same. The so not stay in my ears properly and they are always falling out.

I’ve had the Bose sports, aftershokz, and Jabra. My favorite is just the AirPod Pros.

Blew out the bass on my Bose Sport buds I used happily for 4 years and am looking for a replacement. I'm looking through many reviews, but none address whether these earbuds are fit for use when running. Most I got was "sweat resistant" and "great for your workout". Does anyone know or has experience running with these new buds?

With me at least the fins stay in place. I had the Bose Sport previously fall out on occasion, but these are more secure than those.

Only bose sport does not thumped for me. This is due to the design of the rubber ear part that allowed outside sounds to venture in so it doesnt create weird foot thumping sound

My most comfortable headphones are shokz but they make my ears stick out so I don't wear them often running 🙃 mostly just around the house. My faves to run are my bose sports, they never fall out ever and I can wear them under ear warmers in the winter. I wear one and tuck the other in my pocket or bra. 

after dropping my black Bose ear bud and having to basically lay on the floor after landing to find it, I went to regular headphones. I actually forgot my earbuds and bought them in the airport for like $25. I had no idea that looks wise they are almost identical Apple ones, and honestly they work great. I started wearing them in the gym too, because air pods / buds always fall out for me.

From being a consumer the last half a decade, they're at the bottom when it comes to mic/call quality. I don't think it's ever been their strong suit, as that's an important feature for me.
