"From being a consumer the last half a decade, they're at the bottom when it comes to mic/call quality. ... I don't think it's ever been their strong suit, as that's an important feature for me."

I just put my Bose Sports through the wash and regretfully went to JB Hi-Fi expecting to part with $150 - $200. Explained to the guy that I listened to audio books mainly, under ear protection whilst on the tools, but would also use them for the occasional walk, public transport scroll and phone calls whilst pottering around the house. I.e. cheap and cheerful, but do the job. He suggested J Lab Go Air Pop. I was like “ummm are you sure, they’re ONLY $50” and he was adamant that they were the best. I got bright pink ones to spark joy, they have their own USB cord attached (great for me, but maybe not suitable for USB-C or micro users?) and they fully held their charge for the first 4 days of 8 hour use. 2 weeks in, I love them. Oh! They also price matched Harvey Norman at $34. Highly recommend.

But Bose quality. I had Soundsport with the wire behind and they failed after 6 months. Exchanged and they gave me Bose Sport Buds which then failed after 1.5 years. Their quality has taken a dive and I can't trust them again.

Blew out the bass on my Bose Sport buds I used happily for 4 years and am looking for a replacement. I'm looking through many reviews, but none address whether these earbuds are fit for use when running. Most I got was "sweat resistant" and "great for your workout". Does anyone know or has experience running with these new buds?

With me at least the fins stay in place. I had the Bose Sport previously fall out on occasion, but these are more secure than those.

Ive always used bose sport or the quiet comforts because of how they fit. My old pair of sports are going on about 6-7 years but barely hold a charge. They are my backups, while one of my 3 year old quiet comforts just stopped working completely. I bought the Jlab ANC sport earbuds and they have been excellent. 1/3rd the price of Bose and honestly sound better IMO. the jlab app is nice and the be aware mode is great for running or activities when you're around others.

I use Bose sport for biking and hard work because the AirPods Pro 2 don’t stay in place.

Everyone loves shokz but personally my favorite are Bose quiet comfort II. I always end up going back to Bose… the quality is just top notch and they are always the most comfortable and reliable (ie they never fall out) in my experience ETA before this I used the Bose sound sports (wire together but Bluetooth - which I loved and still use as a backup sometimes) and the Bose sport buds or whatever the successor to the sound sports were (not wire together), but I lost one and they don’t sell them anymore, hence the upgrade. They’ve all been the best of the best imo, Bose never disappoints.

I use Bose Sport Earbuds. They aren’t technically noise cancelling, but they’ll block out conversation level noise. They never fall out no matter what workout I’m doing, and they sound incredible for the price. I’ve had them for 5 years now, use daily, and have had zero issues. Highly recommended.

AZ80 for my dailies. Best sound quality I’ve heard, mediocre ANC however. Comfortable for long sessions, and seem to stay in pretty well. I have some cheap JBL Free Live 2 for travel, okay sound, good bass, unreal ANC! (I assume all JBL will have good ANC) So they’re my flight and train buds; best ANC and cheap enough I don’t cry when I loose them. I have used a number of different Bose Sport buds for gym/running as they stay in the ear the best. If I had to pick o e set; it’s the AZ80, not tried the AZ100.

Have bose sport earbuds. The sound is very nice but for calls, not great. They work. Had pixel a series that were so much better. Put a lot of hours on those and sweat. They stopped working sadly. The series a were my favorite buds of all time. I'd go pixel buds if I had a choice. Though I also have a cheap $40 pair from amazon call flybuds and they've lasted quite some time with no issues.
