I've just replaced mine, I have weird shaped and small ears so I ordered like 7 different pairs, from Bose ultras down to some odd Amazon knock-off brands to compare both fit and quality. The Sony Linkbuds S were far and away the winner for me, quality is great, I think it spent £109, and I personally found the noise cancelling better on them than the Bose at twice the price. Partly due to the fit I'm sure, but still really impressed My previous pair were Melomania 1+, I loved them at the time but I think my Sony's are even better now
r/Earbuds • Best price to performance earbuds, for around £100? ->I can only compare to Airpods Pro 2, Wf-1000xm4 and Melomania 1+, but the Melomania M100 have the best imaging, soundstage and most tightly controlled treble I've ever heard from earbuds. They're $119. Incredible sound. I bought xm4's after using 1+ for two years thinking they'd be an upgrade. They were not. Flat, unsupported bass and treble that constantly disappointed. Practically no imaging and soundstage was pitiful. If you can deal with some occasional pairing weirdness, (that always just requires you to put them back in the case and take them out,) the M100s sound better than the xm4's and Airpods Pro 2. Highly, highly recommended, especially for APTX Lossless/Adaptive devices. I added an eppfun USB C dongle for 24 bit/48khz APTX lossless and it's the best audio I've ever heard from my phone. Only competition I've had was open back headphones plugged in through USB C dac. Edit: Also, I've found that EQ is super important for all of these wireless buds. I prefer Harman tuning, but the M100s are super neutral with slight bass tuning, so I just needed to do a small V shaped EQ to get them sounding perfect.
r/Earbuds • Best sounding earbuds under $100 ->I gave a host of cheaper alternatives a go but Airpods Pro are miles better than anything else I’ve tried. I like Cambridge Melomania and think the older gens in particular are a bargain for the sound quality, but they don’t stay in securely enough for running. I have a pair of Aftershokz (older brand name of Shokz) and they are very good, particularly for keeping track of traffic, cyclists etc while running, but I found myself having to have the volume very, very high, particularly for podcasts (poss related to my tinnitus).

r/Earbuds • Best price to performance earbuds, for around £100? ->But the Cambridge are really heavy. So theyre likely to fall out more regardless of the fit.
