I use the original cmf buds. Not the pros. After using higher end stuff I came to know that the ultra bass option actually slows the driver down and makes the response muddy for more bass resonance. My personal EQ is mids set to +4, treble set to +3 and bass set to -3 with ultra bass option off and the sound gets dangerously close to my 100 dollar iems. Of course not in terms of resolution, imaging and stereo separation but the frequency response sounds very close with that custom setting. Of course when commuting the ultra bass option comes in handy as I don't like the ANC mode (makes me want to puke for some reason when travelling). The bass becomes thunderous for an enjoyable trap session (feels like a big fat subwoofer gets activated with ultra bass mode) and drowns out ambient noise rather well. I've had them over an year and they have been reliable and it's not a question that my next set of wireless earbuds will be from nothing/cmf.
I can vouch for JLab. Barely any issues with them, but another pick is CMF Buds by Nothing. I bought a pair from them like 2-3 years ago and they're still going pretty strong. One of their models are on sale on Amazon for around around 29 right now if you'd want to do it
Overall, Galaxy buds are more reliable while the nothing ear is just better in specs and sound quality. Better anc than... actually most earbuds. Even there cheaper version, the CMF buds, though feel cheaper too, I have experience with and honestly I would say that they are better if it weren't for that cheep feel eventually going and messing with my phone when they're connected. Yes, it sounds like nothing wins here no matter what however for the sake of this being on the Galaxy buds sub, I have to promote the Galaxy buds here: the Galaxy buds connect better with Samsung phones and are probably a lot easier toget and RMA compared to the Nothings, at least here in North America. So just go ahead and get them. The B3 pros and Ear 3s are both roughly the same price and I would only recommend getting the cmf buds to Pro if you were to go with Nothing because they're cheaper. (Just be careful with the LDAC setting?)
Go with cmf perfect fit and stable
I hate to be that guy but if you save up a bit, you can get a CMF Buds 1 for about 1.5k. I promise you that's the best under 2k buds out there.
$20 nothing cmf earbuds with noise cancelling. They're s steal
Like you mentioned Moondrops offering are really solid. The Space Travel 2 is a great bang for your buck, and so are the nothings cmf buds. Other than that without getting into more expensive stuff I'd say check out the Tanchjim Mino.
yep. I have both the original release ones and the 2a.
