I don't know man, I jog 3 times a week with the Perl Pros and never had a problem with the size being an issue. Also own the xm5's, those are better to honest for exercise , so light it feels like I'm not even wearing buds. But the Perl Pros I wear more and stay in just fine. Just my experience.

how is everybody so positive about the Perl Pro's... i just got them because of everybody telling them they are great. But they suck soooooo hard. The sound quality is so much worse than my old TW2's from sennheiser. The soundstage is crap, the high end sounds cheap. The low end sounds too punchy, mostly cheap earbuds do this. A good earbud is crystal clear linear sound with extreme wide soundstage. This is soooooo crap.

None in the market can beat Perl Pro in every aspect of sound at current price ($150-200)

I tested all 3 for some days now. Mtw4 are way behind the az100 and the perl pro in terms of sound. So many people hype these earbuds but man I was disappointed. The perl pros cost 150 euro and sound so good. But I couldn't get the fit right even with different spinfit tips. But if they fit and you can get them cheap they are perfect. The az100 sound even a little better then the perl pros. Not so immersive but more clear. Would pick them but they are expensive atm.

In order For 300: AZ100 For 150: Perl Pro if they fit For 130: one plus buds 3 pro (also didn't fit my ear but sound is good for the price) You could also go for the AZ80 since they are below 200€ now. Please note that I rate them for sound only.

I have the Perl Pros and never really thought of them as bass cannons. I just put the foam tips on and I think they have really good bass. Obviously depends on the seal you get with the eartips. The sound is phenomenal though. I also have Soundcore X20s in my golf bag for the range, and like them a little better for bass/rock/louder music. They have a much better ipx rating for sweaty stuff and can be had for $60 on sale. An absolute bargain. If you can lay on your back, get the Skullcandy Crusher over the ears. That is where the bass is.

Honestly can't believe the Perl Pro still gets love. I had 3 of them 2 I sent back because of defective and the 3rd collects dust as I use my nothing ear a more. The fit just doesn't feel right, its heavy after an hour of use so who cares about battery life, things look massive in your ears, may as well get some over ears for comfort. I know its anecdotal, but AZ100s should absolutely have topped this list compared to a Denon Perl Pro

Definitely not the Perl pros for the gym. I love them, but the anc is super spotty if they move around too much. I have beats for the gym and Perls for everything else

Dennon Perl Pro. So realistic sounding. I have run the profile over and over in different environments and used the equalizer to get the right tuning. They are now amazing.

One thing to know is that sound is subjective. All the ones you a re looking at are competitive with one another in the higher end consumer segment. The momentums might be a good choice for your music needs as they are a bass forward earbud with good sound. I love the Technics but the fit might not be the most comfortable for everyone. I can tell you this the AZ 80 earbuds are not the most comfortable for my ears BUT I have used more comfortable earbuds. Also the Perl Pro are comparable imo for sound but I had the experience and have seen a lot of people says they are uncomfortable. As for the Sony they are decent but the others produce a better sound profile. The best thing to do if you are able to is look at some reviews YouTube. If you want some good sources I can help with that. Also try the others if you can and return what you don't like. Unfortunately it's a big trial and error type situation especially with fit. One thing that will help with the fit is some eartips from Spinfit. I've found that I've gotten better sound and fit from earbud using theor eartips. Hope this helps some

Good for you for trying but the data is pretty bad I think. For example, there's a significant difference between the Liberty 4, the Liberty 4 NC, and the 4 Pro. And I'm sure the 4NC has been recommended way more than your data show. There's also a big difference between the Denon PerL (listed) and the Perl Pro. The pro is one of the most recommended ~$300 bud here, and it's not registered in your list. Same with Nothing (which I have and I think what you've listed) vs Nothing (a) (which is cheaper but gets recommended way more. Not your fault really because the manufacturers use stupid repetitive model names, and we use abbreviations (az-80 instead of the manufacturer name, or super abbreviations like L4NC).

Perl pro. Not only they have great bass but they have crazy loudness so you can eq them pretty heavily in the bass.

Have not tested the Nothing Ear brand of buds, but many of the other buds on the market. Avoid the Sonys unless ANC is critical, as this is their best feature. They are dark and muddy out of the box, and EQ doesn't do a great job of cleaning them up. Clear bass doesn't act as advertised. Perl Pros with AAT and multi-band EQ can sound better than AZ100s in certain genres, rock and metal being one of them. The AZ100s beat the Perl Pros almost everywhere else, with better ANC and Transparency, better battery life and multipoint. I'm not typically a spatial audio believer, being a mix engineer and understanding the importance of discreet channels for true surround performance, but the AZ100s can be enjoyable for movie watching and does a decent job with spatial audio as well. Also consider the Sennheiser MTW4; one of my daily drivers. With Sound Personalization, they are still one of the best sets on the market, especially if you can remove any recency bias. Good ANC and transparency, serviceable battery life. Sound Personalization is where these shine, and it can be used as a multi-genre parametric EQ if you learn the ins-and-outs of its "Edit" mode.

The Perl Pro are my gym buds and they've been fantastic. They never fall out and they sound amazing (after finding a preferred sound profile with the personalization test).

Technics AZ80 if you are after balanced sound, Devialet Gemini 2 if you want dynamic sound with deeper low end, Perl Pro if you buy them and then can, if needed, safely return them. They sound great, but the fit and comfort is really hit or miss and they look weird.
