"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final β€œpush” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"The boombox 3 is the best sounding, deep bass speaker for its size and weight class."

"Get yourself a JBL boombox 3 with a built in separate subwoofer speaker. ... It will change your life with the bass and make all your neighbors either envious or mad at you. ... It has epic bass."

"Bass reponse is insane, it keeps up all the way to max volume. ... No other jbl speaker has that and the bass would usually drop off at like 70%."

"USE THE STOCK ONES, any other tip I tried outside the stock ones, really make the ANC WAY worse, by 60% I would say, and it’s not an exaggeration"

"having somewhat of a shittier ANC. ... For the use of buses or even home, don't even think about it, the ANC goes crazy with the sound of the engine and the passive noise reduction is almost non present. ... I'd rather not having headphones in the bus and actively listen to the engine than to have these headphones and having to actually listen to the engine as well + weird ANC noises + doghsit quality audio. ... this newer model somehow improves in actually nothing and somehow got an even worse ANC even though the first already barely even had at all. ... ANC: it does contain it, but it does not contain it. ... Bluetooth buds have one purpose which is having ANC, and sounding slightly good. These couldn't even deliver on that."

"they are not noise canceling"

"The fit just doesn't feel right ... its heavy after an hour of use so who cares about battery life ... may as well get some over ears for comfort."

"They were heavy as shit and super uncomfortable. ... I struggle to even put my Maxwells back on."

"Putting the Wicked cushions on also makes them more wide which causes the headband to be more spread out. ... I tried every position for the headband, including split positions, and it was always uncomfortable."

"I don't know of any product that I've used in conjunction with an application that is less functional than the Connect app. ... Whoever built that app should no longer be employed by such a great company. ... I told em in an email 2 or 3 years ago what a piece of crap their app was, but they haven't responded."

"the app sucks"

"It also has a custom equalizer, and several presets are in the app. None of those are in the Bose Connect app."

I don't know man, I jog 3 times a week with the Perl Pros and never had a problem with the size being an issue. Also own the xm5's, those are better to honest for exercise , so light it feels like I'm not even wearing buds. But the Perl Pros I wear more and stay in just fine. Just my experience.

None in the market can beat Perl Pro in every aspect of sound at current price ($150-200)

I tested all 3 for some days now. Mtw4 are way behind the az100 and the perl pro in terms of sound. So many people hype these earbuds but man I was disappointed. The perl pros cost 150 euro and sound so good. But I couldn't get the fit right even with different spinfit tips. But if they fit and you can get them cheap they are perfect. The az100 sound even a little better then the perl pros. Not so immersive but more clear. Would pick them but they are expensive atm.

In order For 300: AZ100 For 150: Perl Pro if they fit For 130: one plus buds 3 pro (also didn't fit my ear but sound is good for the price) You could also go for the AZ80 since they are below 200€ now. Please note that I rate them for sound only.

Right now the perl pros are the best pick since they sell for 140€ BUT only if u get the right fit. I couldn't get it right even with many different ear tips from spinfit so I had to send them back. I tried the mtw4 which sounded boring and then the az100. The az100 with the right EQ setting sounds a little better than the denons and the fit is great. They cost double the money but well.

+1 for the Perl Pro, but make sure you get the Spinfit Omni replacement tips. They are a much better grade of silicon that can support the weight of the earbuds so they just float horizontally instead of drooping down. Not only do they stay in better, but the path of the sound is unobstructed and doesn't bounce around the inside of your ear before reaching your eardrum. They make a real difference all around to these amazing buds.

I have the Perl Pros and never really thought of them as bass cannons. I just put the foam tips on and I think they have really good bass. Obviously depends on the seal you get with the eartips. The sound is phenomenal though. I also have Soundcore X20s in my golf bag for the range, and like them a little better for bass/rock/louder music. They have a much better ipx rating for sweaty stuff and can be had for $60 on sale. An absolute bargain. If you can lay on your back, get the Skullcandy Crusher over the ears. That is where the bass is.

Honestly can't believe the Perl Pro still gets love. I had 3 of them 2 I sent back because of defective and the 3rd collects dust as I use my nothing ear a more. The fit just doesn't feel right, its heavy after an hour of use so who cares about battery life, things look massive in your ears, may as well get some over ears for comfort. I know its anecdotal, but AZ100s should absolutely have topped this list compared to a Denon Perl Pro

Definitely not the Perl pros for the gym. I love them, but the anc is super spotty if they move around too much. I have beats for the gym and Perls for everything else
