r/EarbudsBest sounding wireless earbuds under $150 for rap music? I want to feel the bass.

I have the Perl Pros and never really thought of them as bass cannons. I just put the foam tips on and I think they have really good bass. Obviously depends on the seal you get with the eartips. The sound is phenomenal though. I also have Soundcore X20s in my golf bag for the range, and like them a little better for bass/rock/louder music. They have a much better ipx rating for sweaty stuff and can be had for $60 on sale. An absolute bargain. If you can lay on your back, get the Skullcandy Crusher over the ears. That is where the bass is.

Honestly can't believe the Perl Pro still gets love. I had 3 of them 2 I sent back because of defective and the 3rd collects dust as I use my nothing ear a more. The fit just doesn't feel right, its heavy after an hour of use so who cares about battery life, things look massive in your ears, may as well get some over ears for comfort. I know its anecdotal, but AZ100s should absolutely have topped this list compared to a Denon Perl Pro

I have the liberty 3 pros, aurvana ace 2, and just bought the perl pros. Im trying to figure out how to sell my aurvana ace 2. I cant sell them to someone in good faith unless they know what they are getting into. Any ideas?

I sent it back, there was a strange sound on each ear, can't remember exactly if it was a hiss or sthg, but it was a common issue on this. I will look this up (And Bluetooth yeah...) Too bad, because the sound was fantastic

Perl pro. Not only they have great bass but they have crazy loudness so you can eq them pretty heavily in the bass.

Technics AZ100 and Devialet Gemini IIs are your best options. PerL pro also works but isn't as comfortable and secure as the other two. Overall best quality for price probably the Technics.

>Sound: way much more of a V shape. This is definitely subjective, but this is exactly what I want from my TWS and how many brands tune their sets out of the box. It's also one of the biggest hangups I had with the AirPods Pro 2, and why I still own sets like the AZ100s, Perl Pros, XM5s, Pi8s, and MTW4, all sets that are either more energetic, or can be tuned to something closer to what I would consider a fun tuning. I've consistently chased a balance of competent battery life, solid ANC and transparency, and something engaging to listen to in those scenarios where I need a TWS. I own plenty of clinical, neutral-leaning or well-balanced IEMs, but I'm typically never making the choice to listen critically on-the-go. Hot take, but while I'm not the biggest fan of Apple's walled garden and the fact that they don't provide EQ to users who would utilize it, they probably have a plethora of data to support their decision to lean more v-shaped with the APP3. I assume they're simply trying to cater to the mass audience that buys these earbuds and, as sad as it may be that their tastes aren't as refined as the sentient fedoras that are us audio enthusiast, a more "fun" and engaging tuning is likely to come off as a big hit with that crowd. The other hangup I had was the fit; all of my other TWS are running typical IEM tips like Spinfit, Dunu S&S, Divinus Velvets, etc. Because of the APP2's case, most aftermarket tips had to conform to the constrained space and thus they almost always either fit poorly and eventually came loose, or I'd have to carry a spare set of mounts and tips separately in order to ensure the fit was secure. My set is still in transit, but my hope is that the APP3 resolve this issue for me as well; at the very least, the nozzle style mounting solution would make aftermarket options a much easier sell.

r/Earbudshow to choose wireless earbuds in 2025 without losing your mind? honestly…

I don't like JBL out of experience with their speakers. But I have to admit they are great sounding and comfortable tws. The most recent bean one is similar to Kenya for and they have a stem too which is also good. PerL Pro is my pick and as good as it gets before making trade offs. But fit isn't close to Jabra.
