Have you looked into the Denon Perl Pro or Status Audio Between 3ANC??? The Denon sound great, good battery life, and pretty good anc
Of the ones listed, the Denon Perl Pro is the best... I own the AZ-100's and the Perl Pro... The AZ-100 is better call quality though... That being said... If your budget is $500, Devialet Gemini 2's... I use my Gem2's more than any other of my buds. I could also suggest Noble Audio Fokus Rex5's, $449... They sound amazing, but not the best for rock/metal music.
BEST sounding, are Nobel Audio Fokus Rex5 or Devialet Gemini 2... I also have the Status Audio Between 3ANC, Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ100, and B&W Pi8... All of those are really great choices as well.
Mine doesn't feel overly cheap... Not as stout as my Rex5 case, but not bad... To me it feels very similar to the Denon Perl Pro case.
Depending on your price point... I would recomment the Denon Perl Pro, Status Audio Pro X, or Devialet Gemini 2... Of those 3, which I own all three, I would highly recommend the Status Pro X.
I always recommend the Denon Perl Pro. Sound is excellent and anc is very good.
Denon Perl Pro are awesome and can be bought relatively cheap, about $150 or less
The Denon Perl Pro is an excellent choice. Due to their size, they take some getting used to. You may also want to look into Status Audio Pro X. They sound awesome. ANC and call quality are very good as well. They only area they seem to lack is batter life. I get between 5-6 hours on a single charge, with LDAC off and ANC on. Not knowing your budget, you might consider the Status Between 3ANC, which are about on par with the Denon Perl Pro. If money isn't much of a concern, look into the Devialet Gemini 2's or Noble Audio Fokus Rex5. They only drawback to the Rex5's is their size, about the size of a true IEM.
Yes, but they are more expensive... The Noble Fokus Rex5 is comparable and the Noble Fokus Prestige Encore which cost about twice the Status Pro X. Devialet Gemini 2 is also another good option. My top 5 are: #1 - Noble Fokus Prestige #2 - Status Pro X #3 - Noble Fokus Rex5 #4 - Devialet Gemini 2 #5 - Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 I personally own and use all of these. I also own the Status Between 3ANC, Technics AZ100, Denon Perl Pro, and EarFun Air Pro 4+.
The Devialet sound really good and are very comfortable. The Noble buds are excellent, the main difference is in the tuning of the buds, I prefer the Encore. To me, the Rex5's sound cold and analytical. The shape of the Rex5 also don't fit me as well as the Pro X and Encore.
I don't ever recall them doing that... To be honest, I don't recall having a single issue out of them.. I use them witha Samsung S24 Ultra and my Samsung Tab S8+. The only thing I wish they would improve is on the multi-point... I will have them connect to both my phone and tablet, walk away and they disconnect from my tablet. Then, when I walk back to my tablet, I wish they would automatically reconnect.
The first thing to keep in mind is that features like anc, ldac, and multipoint all continuosly use battery. So, if you disable the features you don't really need, it will extend you battery life, on any earbud. My first choice would be the Status Between 3ANC, currently on sale for $125. Second choice would have to be the Denon Perl Pro, not sure of current pricing. Third would be the Technics AZ100. All of these will get you somewhere around the 6-7 hour mark on a single charge with anc and multi-point enabled. That being said, i would have to know exactly what do YOU call long battery life... If approximately 5 hours of music playback, with anc, multipoint, and ldac on, is long enough... Then I would definitly suggest the Status Pro X, currently priced at $249. Another option that I have started sharing is that if you are ok with wired iem's, $250 will get you a really good set. The upside to the iem, no batteries... So, they will outlast any tws.
Check out the Status Audio Between 3ANC. They are great buds and can be bought for a really good price, I think I just saw something around $130 direct from Status. Another good one is the Denon Perl Pro. I own both and love them and can be bought well below your $200 price limit.
I've had the Perl Pro for quite some time now and prefer the Status X over the Denon. Using a Samsung device, I set the phones internal eq, to a balanced setting, and then then simply tweak the Knowles Prederred setting in the Status Hub, which I have yet to find a way to completely bypass Samsung's eq. The Status Pro X has become my third most used set of buds, Noble Prestige Encore first and Devialet Gemini 2 is second.
Denon Perl Pro. After running the sound test & tweaking a few settings I find them to surpass the 75t in terms of deeeep bass, soundstage, and crispness. I love them, out of the 20 or so pairs of TWS I own, these come closest and actually beat the sound quality of the 75t. I have a 75t and a 75t active and both sets are still in great shape, but I reach for the Denons far more often.
You are welcome. I know it's really complicated to find good buds for a specific music style. If I were you, I would choose the Denon Perl Pro (or the standard Perl). If you are ok with deep insertion, they are unbelievable after the sound personalisation. Just 4 hours battery life with ANC and aptX HD, but the sound can really adapt to your ears after several tries — they can learn how you prefer to listen and adjust accordingly. After that, you can use Wavelet for the final adjustments, and that's almost perfection. Just don't use compressed files or streaming — always FLAC or WAV, lossless.
Not at all. But customers can hide trolls and there are many trolls from Soundcore, EarFun, Moondrop and OnePlus here. Easy to verify: they post the same message every time on each post. But yes, I can trust some people who listen to the same style of music as I do and I think they can tell me if the earbuds are good for this style. Yes, I know that sound is subjective and earbuds which are good for one person couldn't be good for another, but sound quality isn't subjective. I don't trust some reviewers because many of them are paid or affiliated. Sorry for the others. They aren't objective. Sometimes you can make you an idea but sometimes is not possible because a reviewer say : very good sound, another one say : exceptionnel sound and another one : average sound. Which one to trust ? A new Soundcore or EarFun comes out and you see on YouTube it's the best they have ever made. A few reviewers are independent and honest but for a music lover, how do you know who is telling the truth? When I heard the EarFun Air Pro 4+ is phenomenal with premium sound, I want to hear a premium sound. When all reviewers say Soundcore or OnePlus is the best and when I listen to them they sound like distorted garbage, I get very confused. Yes, everyone is different with different ears, but sound quality is sound quality: it's clear or not, it's harsh or not, it's detailed or not, it's muddy or not. When I read some reviews, many reviewers say it's a very good sound, well balanced, following the Harman curve. But when you listen to these buds, they sound like a tin can or they are very muddy with metallic highs. Sorry but if they are good, they are good, and if they're not, they're not. The only way to know ? Testing by yourself.
True. Denon perl tws : one driver 10 mm and it's excellent when tweaked.
Just missed out on a killer sale of Denon PerL Pro earbuds (56% off), just got em and loving them. Reviews say they have a tendency to pop out but haven't had the issue at all, I think it might be because I oversized the wing and ear tip a bit since I work in a loud environment. I'd recommend keeping a side eye on em in case another big sale comes up for valentine's day, no idea if they would be though.
Kinda done with the buds unless they go back to the Buds2Pro design. I moved to Denon PeRL pro because they actually fit, and love them
I'll give it to Sennheiser they actually have better timing but it's little low sounding for me an not as bright as I'd like but yeah I agree with you the rest sound like dog shit compared to my Denon perl pro my rex5 an geekfly vitas. I'd say geekfly better for brighter more fun sound with all the details but no features an great battery life While rex5 is more analytical an some what detailed.
