So, after 28 days using the Earfun Air Pro 4 Here is my mini review: (spoiler: i love them!) With the default equalization it's a pretty balanced sound by default. They sound extremely good, you can hear cool little details in songs like a very clear and defined guitar strumming in Dire Straits' "Iron Hand", the individual instruments sound very clear in David Bowie's "Space Oddity" and you feel a rich defined bass in Gipsy Kings' "Djobi Djoba". Mind you, I feel that the electric guitars sound a bit low from other sounds in the songs, making you hear the bass instrument and others clearly but that juicy electric guitar sounds lower than it would with other headphones, perhaps with equalization you can compensate for this. I admire the bass it has, I love that the bass can be heard very clearly without drowning out the high frequencies plus you can pay attention and differentiate the instruments even though they make the same notes. As for latency, PUBG Mobile is my main game on phone and that game by default already brings latency in the sound even if you use wired headphones and I can say that, by turning on the low latency mode, I can't notice a difference in latency with these headphones playing said game, I have won many games using these headphones and they are good for hearing footsteps and knowing where the shots are coming from. Also yes, the integrated microphone is bad but I don't mind because I use the mic of my phone XD My ears are a little weird because in order for the eartips not to slip out when I smile I have to use different sizes of eartips. In my left ear it is relatively easy and the default eartip fits best but in my right ear the default eartip slips when I laugh so I have to use a slightly smaller size (number 2 in size, the maximum being number 5). In conclusion, I liked them a lot!!! XD

I second this. The earfuns are better at just about everything. The only caveat: the soundcore A40s are better for side sleeping, one of the best.

Yeah I can vouch for them as well. Both the ANC and transparency mode are better than the price might suggest. Sound quality is very good, and battery life is remarkable. We'll see how long they last but so far, I'm very impressed by them. For the price, I don't think you can do better

I've used my Earfun Air Pro 4's for about 4 hours of conference calls today.. no problem with these and the noise cancellation is decent. BUT - you should make sure to get the right eartip size, maybe buy alternative ones for better seals too.

I'm still very happy with my EAP4s after months of using them. I am tempted to play around with different eartips though to get a better seal. I've started using them at work for conference calls, and the mic quality is great - even if reviews have said otherwise (And I think MS Teams removes a lot of noise also). I wonder if the more recent firmware updates helped with that.

We've connected a pair of Air Pro 4s to an Xperia 5V using LE Audio, and took a [screenshot](https://i.imgur.com/Fr8czDf.jpeg). No issues. We're pretty sure they support LC3.

LC3 is mandatory for LE Audio. However, LE Audio is not mandatory for Bluetooth 5.3 qualification. Hence most of the BT5.3 devices neither support LE Audio nor include LC3.

I lost my OnePlus Buds Pro 2 at some point traveling. I did some research on various audio sites and came up with a recommendation for Earfun Air pro 4. Normally around $90 but on sale at their site for $60. They are absolutely fantastic sounding. Great ANC and even better sound quality than my Buds Pro 2. Sound Guys even rate then as a top choice of all TWS earbuds.

If you can find them for the price, Method 360 ANC. Theyre 99 bucks for a introductory price right now. Earfun Air Pro 4 and OnePlus Buds 3 and Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC are also good contenders.

Now youre saying that, it makes sense why my hear id always try tp reduce treble. But my personal preference is still a sparkly treble. (Hence the love of L3P and AZ80) i just find the treble on these soundpeats not as refined. It makes sense at the price point. I put Earfun Air pro 4 (better soundstage) and Nothing Ear 2024 (almost as good as L3P) a little above this. Liberty 4 pro is released yesterday and now im curious about those.

I think i did. I almost excusively buy buds with ldac so thats the first thing i setup. My treble sensitivity may be higher than yours. I know the hd800 are bright headphones. To be fair i did not give them enough chance. I returned them in a day. I did the same with Earfun air pro 4 but re bought it and now actually find the sound to be very good.

I have had AirPods Pro's but sold them because I switched back to Android and all iPhone users around me would get a notification lol. I'm telling you, if I knew about the earfuns before purchasing the AirPods Pro, I would've definitely saved myself €200, the AirPods are better, yes, but not 5x better so I would happily choose the Earfun Air Pro 4 over any €100+ earbuds. I got mine for just €52,79

I’ve gotten EarFun Air Pro 4 and I absolutely love them. I was so incredibly hesitant before getting a product from non-major brand but it’s been a hit for me. They fit my ears perfectly (so many earbuds have failed me on that front in the past). I use them at the office, for calls, voice memos, walks, cycling, running, at the gym, in the kitchen, for music and audiobooks. Long battery life. Quick recharge. Nice case.  Main flaw is average, maybe slightly above average, noise cancellation.

Mic on these is very good, bordering exceptional. Battery is sufficient but not amazing. They sounds excellent to me. I listen via LDAC on Amazon Music playing ultra HD and HD tracks (Spotify didnt have any real quality so I changed) and my goodness the difference. Multipoint works great but it does turn off LDAC like nearly every premium brand does. I like the app on ear fun better, and whilst the ear fun pro 4 are amazing, for straight up sound quality these are incredible even against upper airpod pro and XM4 to my ears. Fit is good too. Not necessarily doing gymnastics like the Samsung FE can handle, but decent for most normal activities. FWIW i tried the samsung buds 3 pros.. Capsule sounds better by far. I do like the ambient mode though whilst talking and ANC is on.. it just switches over automatically - but the fit for me was horrible. Bad like the Jabra elite 7s.. good for 5 mins then wobbles loose.

Having not tried most of the ones in this list except for the Airpods Pro (and mine were 1st gen), I would add the Earfun Air Pro 4s. They're easily as good as the Airpods Pro (and I don't know if there's a salient difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2 of those), i would have to include those in the list. I just got a pair of the AP4s and they're *really* good, and at $89 retail (with discounts available on Amazon), they're an amazing option at this price, but really at any price.

I bought AZ80 because of all these \*REVIEWS\*. Sound quality is not better than EarFun Air Pro 4, it is a slightly different (little less bass, so little more voice). Of course, I have used LDAC 900kbps profile with both models. Sound quality can't be physically better, both models has single dynamic driver. I was hugely disappointed and returned AZ80 back to Amazon. AZ100 still have single dynamic driver, sound quality could not be better than AZ80. It is an limit of the technology.

EarFun Air Pro 4. You have to use LDAC 990kbps for better quality. Not many phones let you to force specific LDAC profile. Difference between LDAC 330/660/990kbps profiles are easily hearable.

Yes, EarFun Air Pro 4 are 3x times cheaper (lowest price on sale 70euro vs 200euro for AZ80), don't have a premium metal finishing and look. I suppose sound quality of an all good crafted single driver earphones is the same, difference only in balance (bass focused or vocal focused). EarFun Air Pro 4 has "smooth" and "rich" bass, but vocals a little bit less hearable because of that, even with EQ boost +2+4db (single driver simply can not do all the work). BTW if you switch codec to AAC it will cut off bass and vocals will be clearly hearable. I don't believe much the YouTube reviews after AZ80 purchase.

As someone who usually gravitates toward premium tech (Samsung top self everything), I was hesitant to try out budget earbuds, especially at just $60. Stepping down from my $250 Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (GB3P) felt risky, but after seeing so many rave reviews, I decided to give the [Earfun Air Pro 4 ](https://www.amazon.com/EarFun-Canceling-Snapdragon-Bluetooth-Detection/dp/B0D5M9SH1X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2T0D5R282Z4O0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.iqnOvCwQtQ0Hw-bUaTIlv4sG20dWknsZ0SRTLSDExhfPHta1--0kxcJcx43znTSJZHhKMkdKC0DF1pkxGdF4n53jBrJeNYP3xIW1glTpJskwR9EVN-nbGIhipcb_8tnAPfGS8BEvh_2xpQusNhh5YSfb32TVOeMTcsS1rAqVKbV3jAILSaB6MbmQsOwcPHeRDbxKWVV9p45lSg_ZIJrfesk6Dt-CtPardC2SyPNGO04.UviAHuuZj1cMFN0ni9_30fALsjZhN4RIJOP4mtE2njY&dib_tag=se&keywords=earfun%2Bair%2Bpro%2B4&qid=1728842137&sprefix=earfun%2B%2Caps%2C255&sr=8-1&th=1)a shot—and honestly, I’m floored.  Not just for the price, but overall, they outperform the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. # Sound Quality The Earfun Air Pro 4s get *way* louder than the GB3P—so much so that I had to turn them down at times. They deliver deep, rich bass comparable to the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which is impressive considering they're a fraction of the cost. Straight out of the box, the sound is solid, but with some EQ tweaks, you can shape them into a true V-shaped sound profile that has bass that hits like a club/concert. The GB3P always left me wanting more bass, but the Earfuns delivered, especially with foam tips for a tighter seal. # ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) With the GB3P, I always struggled with getting a proper seal as we all were with their eartip debacle, which made the ANC underwhelming. In contrast, the Earfun’s fit perfectly with foam tips, eliminating most low-end rumble in my "airplane noise" test (done using my surround sound system). In a simulated café environment, they blocked almost everything except high-pitched sounds. While the GB3P has decent ANC, the Earfun truly shines in this area. # Transparency Mode Samsung's transparency mode is like magic, and while the Earfun isn’t quite there, it’s close. The GB3P would get a 10 in this category, but the Earfun scores a solid 8, offering natural-sounding transparency without feeling artificial. # Microphone Quality Samsung still holds the crown for call quality, but the Earfun Air Pro 4 is right behind. It picks up my voice clearly, projecting it forward even in noisier environments. I tested it with voicemails in different conditions (quiet room, background noise, wind) and was impressed every time. There’s a bit more background noise compared to the GB3P, but for the price, it’s more than acceptable. **Multi-point** Now this is the part that grinds my gears as we all have multiple devices and most of us who are using Samsung or Oneplus are using windows machines.  Samsung took away true multipoint unless its a Samsung device and that sucks because WTF, the os is windows on a Samsung laptop so it should just work with windows..  From my 24 Ultra to my Galaxy tab its smooth, but while I'm at work with my HP machine I have to manually connect it each time and that is not smooth at all as I often have to disconnect my phone then connect the laptop.  Samsung needs to fix this immediately with a software update as again they are trying to be like Apple which is what we don't want.  Again, the Earfuns cost $80 and they are just perfect, smoothly connecting from my phone, tablet, Chromebook and windows laptop with no problem once they are setup.  I go from listening to music on my laptop to having the phone take over when a call comes in and then switches back to the laptop when I hang up.  This is how multi point is supposed to be and if you have multiple devices this is what you want in some headphones/earbuds. Again for the price, this is just crazy. # Build & Design The design of the Earfuns isn’t flashy, but it’s durable. They have a solid build, and I can tell they’re going to last through regular use. # Final Thoughts As a die-hard Samsung Knight who typically only buys flagship products, I’m genuinely surprised by how much I love the **Earfun Air Pro 4**. If you’re open to trying something new (and saving some cash), I highly recommend giving these a shot.

Gotta say - after just ordering these... I am impressed. For 25-30% of the price of more expensive options they offer a TON of value. For me getting 90% of the quality for the lower price is worth it. I find the sound to be really good, the ANC is "enough" and the app super easy to use so far. My only real issue would be that the microphone for calls isn't the best and so far the comments are "We can hear you but it's a bit soft".

I bought soundcore liberty 4NC on sale for $80 about a year ago. There are always sales. The sound is excellent. Battery life excellent. The “hear through” mode is meh. The only thing is that they would slip out a little bit with activities. I would wear them golfing and sometimes they would slip out. But if I walked 18 holes (4.5 hours) the battery totally lasted. I tried a few different sizes of the ear tips. They never fell out with just walking. The case is slightly big. I bought the EarFun air pro 4 when I lost my liberty 4NC. Was on sale for $63 on Amazon. The sound is not quite as good for some things. The battery life is excellent. They fit better. They don’t fall out. The case is smaller and seems slightly less premium. No regrets with either. Ultimately the fit is better with activities for the EarFun so I prefer them more and I got them about $17 cheaper.

Sounds plausible. As for TWS, in my opinion, the situation is the same. Single driver is not able to output excellent voice and excellent bass at the same time. You can get either excellent voice and weak bass (Technics AZ80), or good voice and good bass (EarFun Air Pro 4).

OP since you're coming from the airpods, you should go with the Liberty 4 NC or Earfun AP4, other brands will give out and start showing their cost-cutting measures after a couple weeks of use, if not initially I find the AP4 to be nearly similar to the 1000xm5 in terms of sound quality, despite the lower price. If the Sonys are a 10, these are like 9. call quality and battery life are good, multipoint works well Liberty Pro NC will be quite similar and a bit more polished, with a better app, as I've heard. If I was in the market now, I'd go for the **Liberty 4 NC**, though I'm happy with EAP4 CMF Buds are a wildcard that I haven't used, mostly they should have a lower sound quality, reinforced with bass. If I had money to spare though, I'd get them for the novelty alone. The clickwheel is an amazing accessory/feature for the price

I also have  the Bose QC Ultras, the Denon Pearl Pros, the B&W PI8s, the Jabra Elite 10s, Between Status 3 ANC, the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro and more but price to performance ratio, in my humble opinion, the Earfun Air 4 Pros beat them all! An absolutely amazing job by Earfun given the asking price!  Sometime this month, the company is scheduled to introduce an Air 4 Pro Plus model that includes a balanced Armature driver in addition to a dynamic driver, intelligent AI and a few additional features. Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 are my favorite daily drivers when I consider comfort, pocketability, ANC, controls, durability, style, battery life, etc. They sound great but there are other earbuds that have a more premium sound. Sennheiser MTW4 are great daily drivers with a more premium sound. OnePlus Buds *Pro* 3 are great daily drivers at a lower price. My favorite control scheme of any earbuds, and quite good sound and features for the price. I have been trying the EarFun Air Pro 4 for a few days now and while they'll never replace my more premium earbuds, I think they'd make excellent daily drivers for under $100. I got them for like $60 with coupon codes. In LDAC mode with a high res streaming service, they sound far better than a sub-$100 earbud should.

I haven't used it as much as I thought I would, as I haven't been on a plane or in a noisy enough environment since getting them. I imagine it won't be as good as the 1000XM5. I wanted the EarFun Air Pro 4 though because Game Mode was supposed to compensate enough for lag (this drove me crazy on my old Pixel Buds), the ANC was supposed to be decent, and the price was right.

My Earfun Air Pro 4 review. Fit and finish. The plastics feel much more refined. It feels like a more high quality product, both the buds and case are 'soft touch' and the hinge feels great. The case has lights so you actually know when the charging pins have made contact. Excellent. The charging case is smaller than the last model not quite as small as the air pro 2's. Calls. Calls come through nice and clear. I was just outside on a windy roof and my partner could hear me easily. Better than the last generation for sure. Comfort. I've always liked the air pro 2 for comfort and work. The air pro 3 were a little too big for my taste. These new buds strike a happy medium. The standard ear tips are perfect for me and I don't have any chance of them falling out like the 2 and 3 models. Noise cancelling. Noise cancelling has improved significantly. Air pro 3 didn't seem to work as well as the ear pro 2 for cancellation but the Air Pro 2 also had an effect like having cotton wool balls in your ear with ANC ON that some find fatiguing. My girlfriend couldn't wear them. The air pro 3 have good options for wind noise and adaptive cancellation. It's early days but the standard cancellation works great for me in most circumstances. Multipoint audio is there for two devices. Handy while sitting at the laptop and also using phone. Most important, sound quality. Listening to 'San Fermin - San Fermin' Album. It's a complicated album with layers of vocals and piano and strings and all sorts going on. Beautiful. The sound quality is spot on. I have tried many of the sound presets but the sound is very natural out of the box. Not overly bass heavy. Excellent. I'm sure I can get more out of them with a bit of time too. I listened to Calvin Harris - Slow Acid and the driving bass track is immense without the bass drowning everything else out. Very nice! Conclusion. For the price it's a no brainer! The only thing I wish is that the form factor was closer to that of the Air Pro 2. Great to have all these codecs and in ear sensing. So many features to play with. Bye everyone, I'm going to listen to Dark Side of the Moon :D

The Soundcore A20 and the 1More Z30 are the best quality sleep buds available (Amazon has other cheap micro buds but they are crap). They are small and comfortable, but the trade off is no mic (and obviously, no ANC). The A20 has better battery and sound quality than the Z30, but given the size, neither is going to have excellent battery or sound quality. Neither have multipoint. The next smallest buds that I've found with a mic are the 1More Comfobuds Mini. I used them as my sleep buds for almost two years. The sound quality is pretty good, and they do have a mic (not the best) and ANC. What I found was that sometimes the ANC mic would cause feedback in the middle of the night and there was no way to turn off the mic so that wouldn't happen. Also they have a flashing light on them which annoyed my partner. These do not have multipoint either. I've come to terms with the fact that, for me at least, there's no one best "all around" buds for me because everything is a trade off. So I have my 1More Z30 for sleep, my Soundcore Q45 headphones for excellent sound quality, my Earfun Free Pro 3 for exercise, and now my Earfun Air Pro 4 (which replaced my Soundcore Liberty 4 NC) as my daily drivers with decent sound quality and a fantastic mic that I use for work and other calls. Everything except the 1More has multipoint. One advantage to this approach is that because I use different buds/headphones for different purposes, the batteries in each will last longer because I'm not charging them as frequently as I would be if I was using the same ones all the time. The mic on the Liberty 4NC cuts out virtually all background noise during calls but in doing so, it processes and chops up the voice as well. Whereas the Earfun Air Pro 4 diminishes the background noise, so it's still there, but the voice is crystal clear. The ANC on the Liberty 4NC is incredible but the ANC on the Earfun Air Pro 4 is almost as good, especially with foam ear tips (like Comply).

I’ve tried the Capsule 3 Pro+. If you need decent battery, I would pass on them as their battery life is under 4 hrs. Also, the app feels and looks really bootleg.  I haven’t tried the other ones you listed. But I have tried the Capsule 3 Pro+ against the EarFun AirPro4. They are comparable sound and fit wise except the EarFun’s battery life is 8+ hrs and the app seems better if you care about that. Going back and forth between them, I couldn’t really decide which sounded better. The ANC on both seemed fine to me but I didn’t test them on a train or anything.  Main takeaway is if you need decent battery life I would probably skip the Soundpeats.

Yes definitely the best overall, also regarding transparency mode you might see a few day one reviews mention that the transparency isn’t good, this was a bug that was fixed and now the transparency is good. Most reviewers cover stuff when it comes out only so you might think it’s an issue of the model but it was definitely fixed now.

I'd like to throw in my 2 cents. This is in regards to the Earfun pro 4.I went through 2 of them, having the same consistent issue. Bluetooth connection drops when on multipair, constant audio dropping off and coming back on from either my android phone, computer or watch, a screeching sensation that can be heard in both buds when on transparency mode (this happened with both pairs). Now, I'm not saying the buds themselves are particularly bad for listening to high quality music, but the constant issues that I was facing just turned me the wrong way.

It may not be better compared to all those. But these are the best value you could get in your budget range. I'd say it competes with OnePlus buds 3. But in terms of sound quality OnePlus buds 3 stands out slightly. That doesn't mean earfun is bad, it's also good. Earfun app has 10 bands Equalizer from which you can configure your desired sound output. You can also do the same with OnePlus. At this point you can understand that any decent sounding speakers can be enhanced by adjusting the Equalizer according to your music taste. Lately I've lost trust in the OnePlus service bcuz of the customers complaints like battery issues and left/right speakers stopped working due to the new releases. They forcing us to upgrade to the new devices by deliberately sending malicious firmware updates to the old devices which will cause over drainage of battery or speaker issues. For the money we spent, earbuds should last atleast 2.5 -3 years. So i would also advise you to have your own research and pick earbuds wisely which lasts long, along with great customer service. I'd rank them in this way 1 - OnePlus buds 3/ Earfun air Pro 4 (it's a tie)- both are budget friendly 2 - Nothing Ear a 3 - Apple airpods 2nd gen - not budget friendly imo and earbuds under $100 can beat them in sound quality. Beats studio buds - I don't know about these Go for airpods if you can afford. Take it only if you have apple device.

Another approach is use a eppfun ak3040pro max or Creative BT-W6 and earbuds that support Snapdragon Sound (Qualcomm’s aptX codecs). It’s possible that just using a transmitter such as those may result in better audio sync even when using earbuds that only support SBC. But ideally you want to use earbuds that take advantage of the better codecs these transmitters support. Earfun Air Pro 4 are great bang for your buck earbuds that support snapdragon sound. Bose QuietComfort Ultra are a more expensive Snapdragon sound option as are Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 and Sennheiser MTW4. Even if your Android version and earbuds both support the LDAC codec, Its better sound quality is great for music but not for viewing due to higher latency.

The earfun air 4 pro in my testing are the best all rounder when it comes to ANC performance, battery life and multipoint. They have decently Harman curve sound tuning which appeals more to the average listener. Imo they could have better sound imaging and depth in the soundstage. EQ will definitely bring out the sound more. In my testing when it comes to battery life, I get a solid 7 hours with ANC on and LDAC enabled. ANC is very good at eliminating the low frequencies and decent at mids but highs aren't blocked out (which is to be expected). Multipoint also works great, no issues whatsoever when switching devices. Build quality is okay, it can still take hits without breaking (hard plastic but feels flimsy imo) The OnePlus are also solid. Battery life is probably the best I've tried when it comes to stem style, (tested with LHDC v4 not v5 so not sure how much battery life will take a hit) I get around 9 hours without ANC and 8 to 8 and a half hours with ANC. ANC is great at blocking out low frequencies and some mid frequencies but seem to let in high frequencies easily. Sound quality is bassy out of the box but using custom EQ helps a lot with making then sound more balanced. And again, just like the Earfun, these lack imaging but these have better instrumental seperation. Multipoint works great and build quality is decent (sturdy soft to the touch hard plastic) The Roseselsa are also very good and the best I've tried when it comes to sound quality under 100. Great height and depth to music (instruments and vocals), amazing treble reproduction, superb imaging (mild v shape tuning so it also fits the likes of most people as well). Battery life is nothing special, in my testing I get 6 and a half hours with ANC and LDAC on. ANC is decent at blocking out the low frequencies and decent at blocking out mid frequencies but I find these to block out high frequencies better than the others. Unlike the other two, these i5 let the high frequencies through the mics but doesn't amplify them unlike the other two (it's strange but they could be fixed with firmware). Multipoint works great and build quality is superb, they have an aluminum case which feels premium to the touch. Out of the three, the earfun air 4 pro are the most future proof because they have auracast and LE audio. They also support LDAC and Aptx (two hi res codecs) Also I have written a review on the Roseselsa Earfree I5 on my page and the OnePlus buds 3 (don't check out the OnePlus buds 3 review because it's outdated and I've basically changed a lot of my thoughts about them after using them for quite a while. I also need to update the review before which I'm working on). Unfortunately I didn't have time to write the earfun air pro 4 review so what I've written here is basically my mini review of them.

Maybe check out the new Earfun air pro 4. I have been rocking Fiio FH7 with their UTWS5 bluetooth adapters for the longest. They are absolutely amazing, however, the case is definitely larger and sometimes I just don't want something wrapping around my ear, come to find out. This led me on a hunt for something a bit more portable and easier to just throw in on the go. The Earfun Air Pro 4 were the first I bought, followed by the Soundpeats Capsule pro 3+, JBL tour pro 3, sony xm5's, mtw4's, AZ80's and, as of 4 hours ago, the Jabra elite 8 active gen 2's and elite 10's. To me (especially for the price of them) the Earfun are hands down a better earbud than these others. The ANC is fantastic, the call quality (according to my wife after I had her continuously answer calls from me to test this out) is much better (using one earbud alone or both, that didnt seem to matter), they sync up almost immediately when pulled out, music sound is awesome and can get very loud, cleanly, if you like that. Battery life has been great. I started a day at 7 AM at the airport and put them back in the case at roughly noon/noon thirty with 20% left when I landed. Wasn't blasting, but ANC was on the whole time. Use of them on the plane varied between Pandora offline music (galaxy s22 ultra apt x codec, though ldac is an option) and my steamdeck playing Elden Ring. The app seems very intuitive and has just worked, everytime, so far. And it pulls up very fast, if you need it. No waiting around, app searching, can't connect, put earbuds back in case pull them back out, try again, etc. Touch controls seem to work great (so far) and there is a ton of customization that can be done through that same app. And...again..I paid 65 bucks for them, which I think you can still buy them at, as of right now, from Amazon. To me, there is absolutely no way the other buds I've tried beyond these are worth almost 200 bucks....ish....more (not counting the soundpeats, they were like 80 I think). This experience really keeps me from venturing into the 400 dollar ish range earbuds (Pi8, Beoplay, Gemini 2's etc) because I just honestly believe there will not be anything there that is worth that much more. So, in my for instance, I definitely did not get what I paid for in the other high dollar brands. Don't get me wrong, they are all pretty decent, but, the Earfun friggin blow them out of the water on a performance to price ratio.

Not long ago, my Bose QuietComfort earbuds finally gave out, and it was a real disappointment. They had been my go-to for everything—commutes, work, and even just relaxing walks. With medical and other expenses piling up, replacing them with something high-end just isn’t in the cards right now. So, I started looking for something more affordable to get me through, and I found two solid options. EarFun Air Pro 4 turned out to be a real relief. As soon as I put them in, I could feel that little bit of peace come back. The sound is clear, the noise canceling is surprisingly good, and they’re really comfortable. They’re not Bose, but they come pretty close. Then there are the TOZO NC2—simple, reliable, and straightforward. They don’t have the same high-end feel, but they get the job done. The noise canceling isn’t perfect, but it’s enough to help block out the distractions. Neither one is a permanent replacement for my old earbuds, but for now, they’re definitely helping me get by.

Odd. With custom audio test in the app, it makes it much better then stock. Then I have android and I use wavelet to eq even more and it's pretty nice. AZ80 needs less tweaks but more expensive. Not much touches these two in terms of sound in terms of the price beyond maybe OnePlus 3 pro, the earfun air pro 4. Sony's, bowers and Wilkins, Jabra, and status are some others that are competitive. Good luck!

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

If your idea of good is a whopping 6.9/10 on sound guys... No thanks. I'll save several hundred dollars. earfun pro 4s which score significantly higher than any professional review even on comfort rating, and can actually play straight 24bit on 3 different codecs! Bose is just a logo. Too many people brainwashed. I bought some Sony xm4s... Over ear.... And that blew my mind. You know what didn't blow my mind? Name brand earbuds. I tried Bose, sent them back. Tried sonys, didn't feel it justified the money, Samsung pro 2s were okay. Then I said screw it. Cheap but well reviewed . Noone can tell me any earbuds sound better than these except maybe seinheiser or future Sony. But Bose has been boring since 2006

Excellent review. I recently bought these, the realme pro air 5 and the Samsung buds fe. The buds fe are going back for sure due to poorer noise cancellation due to stubborn fit issues and discomfort from the "full ear" feeling that those in ear buds provide. Though it does play best with my Galaxy phone. The Realme Air Pro 5 The Realme are probably my favourite in terms of sound quality, though I do find them less comfortable than the Earfun, I think the sound quality is better, notably so. Especially in those trebles. I think that's due to a dual driver as opposed to Earfuns single driver. This one does slightly worry me in long term comfort as I had to adjust relatively often to get a good NC seal.... Anyone go tips on that? The app is better than the earfun and there are more useful features, including LDAC which is important. Earfun Pro 4 Out of the gate my favourite in terms of fit, though not as pretty as the others. I will say the ANC feels marginally better than the Realme but I'll test in another space tomorrow side by side. Occlusion actually hasn't been an issue for me on early tests where it was in a brief run with the Realme today... One concern I did have though was the treble felt quite sylibant and the basses could get a bit muddy on this. Not terrible, but I felt it's notable compared to the realme in terms of clarity. Perhaps I need to evaluats side by side tomorrow. I also noticed the Non LDAC audio for Samsung phones felt quite low res as times. I'm still undecided on which of the earfun or the realme to keep. If anyone had longer term perspectives, happy to hear it. Any thoughts or input on this to sway my decision I'm happy to hear! I'm intending to use in cafes for work calls and video editing so low latency is important as is good anc and call quality!! Thanks in advance.

I just went through this exercise. Was looking for something around $100. It came down to the Earfun 4 Pros or OnePlus Buds 3. I went with the Earfun 4 Pros. Only issues is I wish they fit in my ear a bit tighter. I'm still fiddling with the tips. The touch controls are finicky, but I hear that is for all the touch ones. I had the Jabra 75T actives before and LOVED them. It's almost like earbuds have regressed over time. (But the new bluetooth auto connect is a vast improvement.) Trick with the touch controls is to touch your middle finger to the base of your head where the top of the ear and bottom meet. There's a little spot their your middle finger will find. With your middle finger touching your head, your index finger will naturally tap exactly where it needs to. With all these, if you go touching around trying to find the earbud, you always get an accidental press otherwise as you are trying to find the right spot.

Just got these, trying them out vs. the Air Pro 3s. So far the connection seems more stable and acts more normal. Oddly, I loved the EQ curve that v3 had. I was hearing old music in such a fresh sound that made it come alive. Anyone have any EQ settings that would make v4 sound a tad more like v3? u/Radiant-Cherry-7973, I tried your EQ settings (the first one: 0, 0, -3, -4, -4, -4...etc) and loved the sound. Just wanted to add some v3 flavor. I'm kinda thinking the sub-bass boost and either 8k or 16k boost (or both?). I was going back and forth between the v3 and v4 earlier today trying to get it by ear and I drove myself nuts. I'm pretty good with audio (almost considering myself an audiophile) but I haven't trained my ear enough to know exactly what frequencies I should be adjusting. I tried a pair of Bang & Olufsen earbuds once with jaw-dropping quality, but ***so uncomfortable***.

Closer to my Sennheiser Momentum TW 4, but still the soundstage and clarity of all those is at least a step above the earfuns. Finally, someone who agrees... Just don't post that opinion over on the sennheiser sub, as they can't handle the fact that these are not God tier buds. I have them, and thier sport little brothers, and I currently enjoy the Earfun Air pro 4 much more than the sennheisers. Bass is tighter, instrument separation is better, ANC is better, app is better, price is so much better. I don't pay for them, so I don't care about the cost, or the fact that they are sennheisers. Sure when I first got them I was very impressed, but I hardly use them now, sometimes just as a comparison when reviewing a new pair...i would never wear them out as they just don't feel secure. [YouTube link to full review](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dSnlgElEaw) **Pros:**  * Harman tuning * Improved ANC * Slightly improved case and ergonomic design * Lots of control customisation * Excellent Battery Life * Quick Charge & Wireless Charging * In-ear detection sensors * Codecs galore (including LDAC & aptX-lossless as well as LC3) * Multipoint works well * Good app experience * Very low latency with Game Mode + AptX-adaptive **Cons:**  * Call noise reduction is too aggressive - muffled around other voices * Ergonomics won't be for everyone * Sound stage feels a bit constrained (can be improved, see attached custom EQ settings) * Occlusion when running and talking on the phone * No spatial audio * LE audio features still embryonic * ~~No LC3 codec currently~~ (now working after fw update + factory default) **INTRO** Plenty of other reviews going live yesterday and today, but mostly from people who aren't necessarily as active here as me. I've included a link to the full review on my YouTube channel, which has longer binaural samples than Aaron's excellent review, and longer call samples in more varied locations. I would say this, but I think it's worth watching both as part of your due diligence if you're thinking of picking these up. I was one of the few dissenting voices over the Air Pro 3 with a fairly critical review. I was unimpressed that reviewers like Gamesky claimed their undeniably bloated bass had been fixed with a firmware update, when I was able to prove by measuring the frequency response before and after that it was exactly the same. It felt a little bit like Earfun were canvassing reviewers and controlling the narrative - surely I wasn't the only one that noticed the sound was too bass-heavy? Reassuringly, I got loads of comments on that review in agreement both on YouTube and Headfi, and fast-forward a year to when Earfun contacted me directly, they pretty much admitted they were remedying their mistakes based on market feedback and wanted to know what I thought. I received the buds free of charge, but no money changed hands for the review - there's no affiliation and Earfun haven't asked to see the review before I published it, all thoughts are my own. **Design, Fit and Comfort** The design, of both the buds and case, hasn't really changed. The case is slimmer, and definitely looks more attractive. It recharges the buds an additional 4 full cycles, and has a handy quick-charge feature, giving you 3 hours playtime from 5 minutes of juice. It also supports wireless charging. The buds are slightly shorter this time (31mm) and have a slight curvature under the touch control area. They wear much better than the 3, but their fit is a little out-of-the-ordinary compared to other recent releases from other brands. The likes of Realme and OnePlus have gone for a very shallow-fitting design with a slim eartip. Earfun on the other hand have gone with a larger, bulbous tip that fills the space in around your ear canal. The result is, with the right tip size, very good stability for general use, cardio and jogging. I put a number of different TWS through the '100 jumping jack test' and not too many passed, but the Earfun could have gone to 200, maybe even 500 without budging. The drawback of this design is that occlusion is very apparent, both when running and talking on calls. It's rather off-putting, and can only be mitigated with thinner third party tips. They are IPX5 rated, so you're fine for wearing outdoors and in the gym. I've also tried the Dunu vocal tips with them and not only does it slightly improve the occlusion effect, it also improves ANC strength, so I'd recommend tip rolling with an open mind! **Controls & Wear Detection** Wear detection is very well-implemented and smooth. Controls are fully-customisable in the app - you can adjust single tap, double tap, triple tap and long press without any limitations. The touch control area is well-defined and the controls are responsive. There are virtually no limitations - everything can be customised to any gesture. You can remove 'ANC off' from the toggle when you cycle through ANC modes, leaving just 'ANC on' and 'Transparency', but you can't add WNR mode or any of the AI modes to the cycle unfortunately. **ANC & Ambient Mode** ANC sees an increase from 43dB to 50dB, and in all of my tests, I was pretty impressed. It isn't as strong as something like the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, at least in reducing the lower frequency sounds, which the Soundcore does very well, but in terms of a consistent noise reduction across the full-frequency spectrum, it does a good job. You can also use both ANC and transparency in single mode. Earfun have added multiple ANC modes, although none are more effective than leaving it on 'Strong'. The wind-noise reduction mode did an admirable job of handling the breeze whilst I was on the bike. Ambient mode is OK - it will let some nearby noise through, and it does so quite naturally, but I did have problems deciphering every word of nearby conversations, and there's no alternative strength settings for it - a bit of a disappointment when you've got budget options like the MeloBuds Pro from QCY which do. If you have specific questions about the ANC, my advice is to watch the YouTube version of this review. I've recorded the ANC of both the Air Pro 4 and L4 NC using a binaural mic setup. This will allow you to experience for yourself the benefits and drawbacks of each by hearing which frequencies each blocks in a real life environment - a busy coffee shop. **Battery Life** ****Battery life is definitely a highlight, registering just short of 10 hours with ANC off and just over 7 with ANC on. This puts them up there with the likes of Realme Buds Air 6 Pro and OnePlus Buds 3, and they seem a little less sensitive to switching features on than those other models too, most notably the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, whose battery seems to empty the moment you use any of its features and functions. The additional 4 re-charges with the case takes the total battery life to quite an impressive number.  **Sound** [https://regancipher.squig.link/?share=Harman\_2019\_IE\_v2\_Target,Earfun\_Air\_Pro\_4\_ANC,Earfun\_Air\_Pro\_3](https://regancipher.squig.link/?share=Harman_2019_IE_v2_Target,Earfun_Air_Pro_4_ANC,Earfun_Air_Pro_3) This was the area I was looking for Earfun to rectify the most, and they delivered. The Air Pro 3 was way too bass-heavy for my liking - +15dB above their measurement at 1kHz - a punishing, relentless experience further soured by the peaks at 5KHz and 8kHz resulting in a scratchy, unnatural treble that I couldn't listen to for more than a couple of minutes without being offended. Thankfully, Earfun delivered and have given us a much more balanced, Harman-hugging sound that combines tasteful warmth with reasonably transparent mids and a controlled treble that has enough bite to define percussion, whilst still offering a smooth, non-fatiguing listening experience. Male vocals stand out more, and nestle nicely among darker midtones, whilst female vocals are articulate without straying too far from their domain.  It is a straightforward sound that is pleasant and musical enough, but lacks a bit of immersion. The focus is still on the low-end, and with more energetic genres in particular it can leave it sounding a tad blunted. Thankfully you can eek a bit more out of the sound with the very capable Earfun app, including over 30 presets, a 10-band custom EQ and a hearing test, which generates a profile based on the results. EDIT - I've been working on getting some decent presets. If you want a cleaner, more dynamic sound, try the following: [https://clickpix.org/image/h28man](https://clickpix.org/image/h28man) [https://clickpix.org/image/h28op3](https://clickpix.org/image/h28op3) **Call Quality** Not the strongest performance here, with the algorithms acting a little too aggressive and diffusing the sound of your own voice a little too much. In busy indoor scenes, in particular, it has difficulty separating your own voice from other voices without leaving you muffled to the point of incoherent. In the busiest scene in Borough Market in London, it actually did pretty well, where the variety of other sounds was greater, confusing the cVc algorithm much less. The Air Pro 4 are OK for their price category when it comes to calls, but they fall some way behind the bone-conducting mics on the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They do, however, allow you to switch to transparency mode during calls via the app (although not using the onboard controls, at least without the risk of cutting your caller off). **Other Features** The Air Pro 4 has some very well-implemented features, including: * Multipoint (and a device list within the app) * Google Fastpair * Game Mode (very low latency with aptX-adaptive) * 'Find my Earbuds'  * The ability to change the voice prompt language (to Japanese or Mandarin) and volume * The ability to specify which side (or both) the microphone is active It supports LE audio, including 'Auracast' (a moot point as you're unlikely to encounter it any time soon), but it doesn't support the LC3 codec yet. **Earfun App** It's pretty good overall and straightforward to use. It doesn't require excessive permissions or a login, and everything is where you expect it to be. Earfun were pretty good with firmware updates on the Air Pro 3, so when they come through, it should be very straightforward to update. The stuff I mentioned above in 'Other Features' are all very easily accessible, as are the sound and control customisations. Really good overall. **Drawbacks** * Occlusion (can be mitigated with flatter tips) * Weak ambient mode * Slightly disappointing call performance * Soundstage is a tad constrained. Can be opened up a little in the app **Summary** Overall it is a big improvement over the Air Pro 3, even if some of the changes feel slightly incremental. The fit, design and case are evolution rather than revolution, but they still represent an improvement. The ANC is stronger and more consistent, and the sound has moved away from the boomy consumer sound which the market has predominately now left behind to a much more palatable experience.  The Air Pro 4 is not quite a giant leap forward, but it's more than a couple of long steps. Despite a few minor quibbles, they are a good option at sub-$100, and their discounted launch price of £59.99 and the fact they are readily available on Amazon makes them a compelling option. It should be remembered that Earfun have tried to improve the Air Pro 3 throughout the last year with several firmware updates - if you're going to bet on a brand, I'd say they are more than worth taking a punt on. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment or DM. Always happy to help. *This is not a paid or brand-affiliated review. I do this as a hobby and buy the overwhelming majority of sets I review both on Headfi and on YouTube.*

I include sound and ANC samples in all my reviews, recorded using a binaural microphone setup, so you can actually hear the difference for yourself rather than taking people's word for it. The seal makes a huge difference when it comes to noise reduction so one person's findings might be different to someone else's purely down to the fit. Here's my review of [Earfun Air Pro 4 ](https://youtu.be/2dSnlgElEaw), the OnePlus Buds 3 and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC are compared [here](https://youtu.be/nA8SzBswW5w), and if you scroll through my page you'll find the Soundpeats option mentioned as well. IMO - there's no outstanding candidate - all have their pros and cons. For me, the likes of Redmi Buds 6 Pro, Realme Buds Air 6 Pro and OnePlus Buds 3, whilst not outstanding at anything, have a good blend of sound, call performance, ANC, transparency and price. The L4 NC has the strongest ANC but struggles on calls and the sound is too bloated for my liking. The Earfun are good other than on calls, where your voice muffles quite a bit depending on the scene.

The Oneplus Buds 3 are great. I've also retired my Liberty 4 NC, but it was for the Earfun Air Pro 4. Those were my surprise of the year. The Oneplus buds were great, but the lack of wireless charging and the fact that they hurt my ears after a while (Liberty 4NC also hurt my ears) had me looking for something else. Neither of these buds are perfect, but the OP3 or EAP4 would be a 1A/1B choice over the L4NC. I still love Soundcore as a company though, and their support is still among the best in this space IMO.

I'm considering the Pros too. As for ANC, I think a lot of people on the internet forget, as do I sometimes, that when you're playing music or media, the strength of the ANC is less important. I personally don't think most people are just riding around with ANC on and no music playing. As for the fit, that was my biggest problem with the Liberty 4NC from the gate. They did not fit well in my ears. They were too big. The Oneplus buds were shallower but fit me better. They too eventually hurt my ears, but that's a me problem. Almost ALL stem-style buds hurt my ears after a bit. The Earfun Air Pro 4 are the first set where I didn't have that problem. That said, a lot of people don't have that issue, and they fit fine for them. I do better with bud-style earbuds. The Galaxy Buds Plus and Buds2 Pro fit me really well, as do my AZ80s. I'm saying all that to say, if the 4NC fit you well, they are a very well-rounded set of earbuds, especially for the price right now. They and the Earfuns give you everything at good to great. The Oneplus do sound better though, but it's at the margins. Honestly, if the Oneplus Buds 3 had wireless charging and were just a smidge smaller, the Earfun would have never been considered in the first place. The 4NC always were getting replaced. I tried to get used to them but just couldn't. Still love Soundcore as a company though.

I have the AZ80 and Space A40 from this list. I also have the Earfun Air Pro 4, Soundcore Liberty 4NC, Soundcore Sport X20, and I've had several others over the last couple of years including the Jabra Elite 10 gen1. The Earfuns are my favorite for music. The AZ80s are my favorites for day to day use, including phone calls and transparency mode. What I've learned is, the difference between the really high dollar options and mid-priced ones is much smaller than you would expect. I hadn't used the A40s in a while, and they were my absolute favorites for a long time. While they aren't as good as my Earfuns or Technics, unless you're comparing them side to side, you'll probably be okay.

First, I would say after owning several, that what is your favorite doesn't have to be the "best". But since you ask, I would give the best to the Technics AZ80. They are incredibly well rounded and do pretty much everything well. The only negative I can say is, mine had to be replaced because the case stopped charging. I actually had the AZ60M2, and Technics upgraded me to the Az80 as a replacement. There's not a huge difference between the two, but the AZ80s have the slight edge The ones I use most often are the Earfun Air Pro 4. These have been a major surprise. I like them because of how comfortable they are. I also really liked the Oneplus Buds 3, but the Air Pro 4 edged them out on sheer comfort. If you don't want to spend AZ80 money, then the Oneplus Buds 3 or Earfun Air Pro 4 is absolutely where I'd stay and I'd be very happy.

Those earbuds (I think you may be referencing the A40s?) hurt my ears as well. I find the 1more aero quite comfortable, decent performer all around as well, although I don't see them getting mentioned much. Although, I have too many earbuds throughout the price range, kind of an obsession. I feel like the aero are a solid option if your ears happen to be shaped like mine, which have a relatively shallower concha. Sony linkbuds s are probably the most comfortable \*for me\* besides sleep buds, but above $100. Earfun air pro 4 are reasonably comfortable to me as well and a really good value.

I have the airpro4 and had the studio buds+. The latter I just don’t recommend at all, without even comparing to other earbuds. To me, they sound flat and uninspiring. And I don’t know about Android, but on iOS, you don’t get to custom-eq them, other than presets that only work in Apple Music. The airpro4 are solid for the price. Comfortable, customizable, and portable.

It's going to depend massively on what you are connecting to. For PC for example, the support is really poor for anything other than SBC or AAC. AAC is not bad with latency but SBC is shocking. Some PCs have LE audio (LC3) but they are so few and far between it's highly unlikely you have it. Hell, I have a brand new 2025 Lenovo Legion Pro and it doesn't have it. For gaming on Windows I use Earfun Air 4 Pro. They have aptx, LE audio, and AAC. They connect to Windows with AAC with acceptable latency. THey connect to Steamdeck with APTX with acceptable latency. Some phones support LE audio out of the box. iPhones only support AAC or SBC. In short, low latency bluetooth is a total mess.

I feel your pain. Low latency Bluetooth is a total mess at the moment what with LE audio (LC3) being locked behind Intel EVO PCs in the PC space or having to buy a dongle such as the Creative BT-W6. Some devices that support LE audio that I have tested and know work: Creative Aurvana Ace 2 Earfun Air 4 Pro Jlab Epic Lab Edition - also has a dongle that uses Opus that's even lower latency Sony Linkbuds-S Sony WF1000XM5 Aptx-LL is on hardly any buds at all. Aptx-Adaptive-LL is on several. Look for buds with Snapdragon sound. However, many devices don't backwards support Aptx-LL correctly from Aptx-Adaptive. I've tested Aptx-Adaptive-LL with Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra and it worked reasonably well.

I don't agree. I've had them for one day and returned them right away. Horrendous wind noise with just a slight breeze outside. Turned the wind reduction on, which automatically turned off/reduced ANC performance. One setting cancels the other. They should work together, not separate. Horrible return experience. Earfun will make you pay for return shipping even though their policy states: "Earfun will pay for return shipping for defective items". After a lot of back-and-forth with an agent, they asked me to completely destroy the earbuds and the case, send them a picture of the destroyed items, and they will issue me a refund. That tells you everything you need to know about the product/company. Proof: [https://ibb.co/yd5k9P0](https://ibb.co/yd5k9P0).

These are amazing for the price, when tuned correctly the sound quality is on par with galaxy buds 3 pros default eq even though these only have a single driver. Battery life, comfort, and noise cancelling are much better than b3p, they have every codec you could ever want and customer service has been great from my experience. everything about them feel high quality despite the price. I just wouldn't recommend them to people who want a good transparency/ambient mode, that's the only reason I got the b3ps and use those as my daily driver instead. Also if you have a quest 3 these can be used on that with LE audio enabled in developer settings for low latency instead of needing a pair with a 2.4ghz dongle. btw if you order them from earfuns site and ask to return it they might send you some money back to keep them, they sent me $8 back which was nice Ive never had a company do that before. The only problem I had with them is that the Bluetooth distance wasn't as high as other earbuds I own.

For sound quality: Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro Plus (xMEMS driver, amazing in this price range). Acceptable ANC, good transparency. Customizable controls, so good. For very good ANC: Earfun Air Pro 4. Acceptable sound (instrument separation and treble are not the best), acceptable transparency mode. Customizable controls, so good. I had both Soundcore L4NC & Earfun AP4 Imo, Bass : soundcore delivers thumpy surround bass. earfun delivers treble like bass. ANC : soundcore is better felt like more blocked in my ear canal, voice call more natural like voice. Earfun is like no difference in anc on and off. I can't tell if the anc is on or off when switching both. Battery : soundcore ANC off, I get around 8 hrs more of less. Earfun Anc off closed to 9+ sometimes 10 hrs. This is where the earfun shine. Sound overall : I prefer soundcore over earfun with my fav EQ setting using master & dynamic eq by Crinacle . They sound better, More stagelike sound, nice treble and better ANC. Imo. Earfun can be better in certain aspects, such as sound quality and anc. Even though I've tried their in-house app . Couldn't find the right settings for my preferences. The only thing I like is their battery life and tws design .

That's a loaded question. Cost focused options (no order)  1. Earfun Air pro 4 ( 50 hours total in battery with over 8 per listening charge, very rich sound, comfort is just like all airpods like shaped earphone, good ANC, good phone call quality and under $100. 2. Bose 2nd Gen QC with over 10 per charge, greatest ANC, amazing hear thru, good phone call quality, and good sound, good fit under $180 3. Denon perl pro.. Will get you at least 5 hours of battery life, decent ANC, decent phone call quality, but the best sound quality under $250, could argue higher. Under $180 If you don't care about prices.  1. Az100 easily!  Beast battery life, good comfort, nice ANC, good hear thru, one of very best timbre, mid range, and bass quality out there. A very nice phone quality with the best ANC phone call noise block ever seen in the world. 3 device connection,. Amazing app and pen point touch control that can customized.. $299 one of the world's greatest dependable, zero problem devices in Bluetooth.  2. Noble Rex5... One of the best complete range audio experience you can get. Comfort a little on the chucky side but still nice for me, ANC is OK, hear thru is OK, but the phone call quality is one of the very best. ...can be a little tricky to get the perfect sound for some people due to the 3 level EQ system. You have to know what you are doing to get the best. But once you do... Its hard to beat it's sound $449  Honorable mention:  3. PI8'S.. They are Kryptonite and the sun at the same time. I would suggest this hands down as the best period in sound and comfort. But because they have horrible ANC and bad phone call quality I don't think this fits your list. But if just sound and comfort.. They are "inevitable"! Oh.. They have a battery drainage issue if you don't used them regularly they drain every day of none use. But omg, I can't stop picking them up to listen to my music.

I seem to be an outlier in that I am mostly pleased with the sound quality of these. I tweaked the upper frequencies in my custom EQ, but I left most of the frequencies untouched. Agree that the call quality could be better, but I seldom use them for that anyway. What I \*really\* dislike about these is the case. The slick plastic is hard to grip while opening, especially if you live in a dry climate and have very dry skin. I find myself fumbling with it and dropping it half the time. I ended up putting a few pieces of blue painters tape in strategic spots. It was either that or rough it up with sandpaper. Besides that, it just feels and looks cheap.

You are right, I was wrong... I've edited my previous post. I've been reading a lot of Cambridge Audio P100 reviews lately, which also advertises support for lossless and adaptive... One review reported that it also supported HD as a fall back (though I can't find this review again nor can I substantiate the claim), thus I assumed all aptx lossless products could fall back to all lesser aptx codecs... Obviously an incorrect assumption.

Your post is misleading: Unless Earfun paid for an AptX HD license yet doesn't advertise it, it will not work. > Bluetooth codec aptX adaptive, AAC, LDAC, SBC With the exception of LDAC being added, this is the same list as the Air Pro 3 (which also does not support AptX HD). AptX Adaptive is backwards compatible, so it will fall back to the best codec shared by the audio source and the ear buds, in this case - and that is AptX aka AptX Classic. My phone tops out at HD, and when used with AP3 buds, basic AptX is the best available codec. No blame intended here though, Qualcomm is super vague about how this works (which "coincidentally" helps people think they're getting functionality they are not).

I'm also happy with my EarFun AP4's. There are so many opinions and reviewers which makes it hard to decide but in the end I found a very good reviewer here on [Reddit and on YouTube](https://www.reddit.com/r/Earbuds/comments/1iggotc/bought_my_first_earbuds_earfun_air_pro_4_tip/).

Maybe Earfun Air Pro 3/4? They are fairly small and the tips extend out further than others I’ve tried. The only thing I really feel when I use them is the tip in my ear canal.

Earfun - either the Air Pro 3/4's or Free Pro 3's. Sonically and feature wise, the best earbuds under £100. They come close to the top tier Sony's (barring the noise cancellation)

I like the Gamesir controllers. They have some cheap Bluetooth that are good quality. I like the earfun earbuds with the gaming mode. Cuts down the frequency distance but better short term use. Wife’s AirPods had noticeable lag. Earfuns did not.

Honestly never considered Linkbud Sbecause the original tag price was $300 CDN. Essentially old tech repackaged for a marginal saving (that’s what it looks like on paper anyways). But I’m seeing sale prices for $160 and I can play ball with that price Sucks I just got a pair of $65 ANC beaters (company called Earfun) for Prime Day cause I’m sick of financially prioritizing earbuds over things that matter
