I’d be careful with the Vorago ESB-401. Sound quality is good, but reliability seems poor. Volume issues after a few months are common, and the battery/case build isn’t very durable. If I were you, I’d go with the EarFun Air 4 pro instead. Sound is clear with punchy bass, ANC is decent, and they’re more reliable long-term with solid battery life—around 9h per charge, 36h with the case. https://amzn.to/45VetWl

Another approach is use a eppfun ak3040pro max or Creative BT-W6 and earbuds that support Snapdragon Sound (Qualcomm’s aptX codecs). It’s possible that just using a transmitter such as those may result in better audio sync even when using earbuds that only support SBC. But ideally you want to use earbuds that take advantage of the better codecs these transmitters support. Earfun Air Pro 4 are great bang for your buck earbuds that support snapdragon sound. Bose QuietComfort Ultra are a more expensive Snapdragon sound option as are Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 and Sennheiser MTW4. Even if your Android version and earbuds both support the LDAC codec, Its better sound quality is great for music but not for viewing due to higher latency.

I’m looking for the best wireless earbuds in 2025 that are comfy for gym workouts and also great for calls. I hit the gym almost daily, so the earbuds need to stay in place during workouts, feel comfortable even after long wear, offer solid battery life, have a reliable mic for calls, and of course, be sweat-resistant. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on cheaper Bluetooth earbuds some people say they’re uncomfortable or have weak call quality. That’s why I’m leaning towards investing in something more reliable if it’s worth it. Comfort and durability matter most for me. EDIT: After going through a lot of Reddit threads and recommendations, these earbuds came up the most: * [Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen---Best for iPhone users, seamless connectivity](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#1) * [Sony XM5 – Best for noise-cancelling and all-day comfort](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#2) * [Bose QuietComfort Ultra – Great for crystal-clear sound and calls](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#3) * [Earfun Air Pro 4 – Solid budget option with good mic quality](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#9) * [Cleer ARC II Sport Open Ear---Open-ear comfort, ideal for outdoor workouts](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#44) * [Denon Perl Pro – Known for balanced sound and premium build](https://reviewriches.com/best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-for-workouts-or-exercises/#8) Has anyone here used these for workouts and calls? Would love to hear your experiences and any other solid recommendations. Thanks!

I've used my Earfun Air Pro 4's for about 4 hours of conference calls today.. no problem with these and the noise cancellation is decent. BUT - you should make sure to get the right eartip size, maybe buy alternative ones for better seals too.

I normally go by the reviews over on [scarbir.com](http://scarbir.com) and I bought Earfun Air Pro 4s after reading their reviews and finding a cracking deal on Amazon. However, I tend to only use them when traveling (for the ANC) and my 'go to' for work is using wired IEMs (In Ear Monitors.. wired earbuds) + bluetooth adapter/amplifier. Ziigaat Nuo IEMs (£20) + Hiby W3 ii Bluetooth DAC (£40). The sound on the EAP4s is fine, but this other setup is just better and more punchy.

Got them last week and I'm loving it. It's my first pair of earbuds ever, and first ever time with ANC but I'm really liking it so far. ANC is good. Mic quality is good. Sound is pretty good for music and calls. Bass is lovely. And I've taken calls for more than an hour and never felt any pain or discomfort. Hope they just last long!

Can confirm... I was blown away after buying these "blind". I care about FR a lot and RTing didn't test them yet, so it was a shot in the dark and oh boy EarFun delivered with the 4 Pros. For Fitness/Training they might be one, if not the best Earbuds you can currently get. The combination of the Fit and incredible Harman tuning makes them a favourite of mine!

I just bought Earfun AP4 2 weeks ago and I enjoyed them. I was also considering that same Soundcore model but chose Earfun in the end because I like the case design better and also it was cheaper, where I'm from. I think you will enjoy either one just fine. Good luck!

OP since you're coming from the airpods, you should go with the Liberty 4 NC or Earfun AP4, other brands will give out and start showing their cost-cutting measures after a couple weeks of use, if not initially I find the AP4 to be nearly similar to the 1000xm5 in terms of sound quality, despite the lower price. If the Sonys are a 10, these are like 9. call quality and battery life are good, multipoint works well Liberty Pro NC will be quite similar and a bit more polished, with a better app, as I've heard. If I was in the market now, I'd go for the **Liberty 4 NC**, though I'm happy with EAP4 CMF Buds are a wildcard that I haven't used, mostly they should have a lower sound quality, reinforced with bass. If I had money to spare though, I'd get them for the novelty alone. The clickwheel is an amazing accessory/feature for the price

Heads up if anyone stumbles across this deal now: these were great for the price but the left bud effectively died on me after not even 2 months. It plays sound but is barely audible regardless of volume setting. I haven’t tried to go through CS, but I saw this mentioned a few times in the Amazon reviews. Barely used, too. Caveat emptor

If your idea of good is a whopping 6.9/10 on sound guys... No thanks. I'll save several hundred dollars. earfun pro 4s which score significantly higher than any professional review even on comfort rating, and can actually play straight 24bit on 3 different codecs! Bose is just a logo. Too many people brainwashed. I bought some Sony xm4s... Over ear.... And that blew my mind. You know what didn't blow my mind? Name brand earbuds. I tried Bose, sent them back. Tried sonys, didn't feel it justified the money, Samsung pro 2s were okay. Then I said screw it. Cheap but well reviewed . Noone can tell me any earbuds sound better than these except maybe seinheiser or future Sony. But Bose has been boring since 2006

My Huawei Freebuds Pro just broke last week, they are around 3.5 years old. My theory is that the ANC mic broke, which caused it to compensate for a huge sound that didn't even exist, which caused the right driver to blow. Got a pair of Earfun Air Pro 4's a couple of days ago. They're great.

I have the airpro4 and had the studio buds+. The latter I just don’t recommend at all, without even comparing to other earbuds. To me, they sound flat and uninspiring. And I don’t know about Android, but on iOS, you don’t get to custom-eq them, other than presets that only work in Apple Music. The airpro4 are solid for the price. Comfortable, customizable, and portable.

Read this while listening to music with my new Earfun Air Pro 4s (which I just got an hour ago). I'm very happy with them and the audio between these and my previous earphones (soundcore life p2) are night and day. I'm not an audiophile so I'm glad I got a noticeable upgrade for only $55. Given that you write that the OnePlus earbuds are only 10-15% better for ~$50+ more, I will stick with my Earfun earbuds. Even then, I don't think the trade off is worth it but that's just me.

There really is no comparison between the Earfun Air Pros (Earfuns flagship earbuds) and other "budget" earbuds. Turns out you CAN have it all in a set of earbuds for under $100. Frankly, I don't see how the "premium" brands such as Jabra, Sennheiser, Sony, Bose, etc. compete. There is NO WAY I would pay the kind of money those brands demand anymore. I will admit the ANC is not quite as good as some of the more premium brands, but it's still good. My Earfuns make a huge difference on an airplane ride. And I've yet to actually get a pair of the Air Pro 4s, so the ANC has probably improved even more from what I have (I have a set of Air Pro 3s and Free Pro 3s, and several older models as well--I may have a problem 😬).
