Ok, two suggestions. First, I had similar issues with the Earfun Clip when first using them. I solved my problem by angling the clip down towards the bottom of my ear causing the driver (which is angled too) to be closer to my ear canal. Much further down than you might have tried. I have much better sound from them now. The Bose Ultra Open have the best sound of all of the open style earbuds I own. There flaw is the microphone call quality. Second in sound quality is the Shokz OpenDots. No real flaws and call quality is excellent. I purchased both refurbished. Try the Earfun repositioning first as you already own them and they are just slightly behind the Shokz on sound quality and have decent call quality too.

In the US you could get the Soundcore Aerofit 2 around $80. For an open, it has good bass and is one of the better open hook style earbuds. Or look at the Earfun clip for around $50. For a clip, the Earfun Clip or the Soundpeats Pearl Clip Pro are pretty good for around or under $50. Even cheaper, the Baseus BC1 has decent bass. I own all of those so feel free to ask for more information.

Yes, I tried the BASN AirS1, and I didn't hate it. [https://www.hifioasis.com/reviews/basn-airs1-review/](https://www.hifioasis.com/reviews/basn-airs1-review/) Definitely not for critical listening, but for background music it's actually pretty solid, and you can still hear the environment around you. Ended up using them quite a bit for workouts and running. Currently trying the EarFun Clip, which is a clip on style wireless earbuds. I would have overlooked these products before, but there are some solid use cases for them!

I never looked too hard into them either, and was honestly pretty skeptical. For active stuff like workouts, running, and walking my dog, I'm pretty sold on these open earbud styles now. The EarFun Clip is very secure and doesn't move at all, and it doesn't even really feel like it's there. I've heard if you have large ears then it can cause discomfort, but my ears are smaller to average sized and I've had no issues. I have a full review coming out soon on them, I'll link it here when it's posted.

I'm enjoying my Soundcore Aerofit 2 that have ear hooks and also my Earfun Clip, both have LDAC, good apps with eq and sound almost on par with some of my in ear buds but lack NC. The new Aerofit 2 Pro can be worn in ear with NC or open, a 2 in 1 style. There's many brands out there, even Sony is riding the bus now with their new clip- on.

Yeah, earfun customer service is extremely good. I had an issue with my clip on earbuds and they sent me an entirely new replacement no charge. They respond very quickly too.

I've been very happy with the Earfun Clip. The Soundpeats Pop Clip is also excellent.

Can see from pic back of the bud is sitting to high, just below skull line there is a natural indentation. The back of the buds are supposed to be pushed into this. If still issue maybe look at the Earfun Clip they are lightweight & have great sound.

Shokz OpenFit Pro are the best, if want the C clip type actually the Earfun Clip are great, obviously there are others but not really worth the extra cost.

Shokz OpenDot One are my favourite but was surprised how good the Earfun Clip are. Also have the Soundpeats clip1 but didn't find them as good.

Earfun clip has been good to me and it has physical buttons. You can EQ it louder like I have done if you sometimes run in noisy places while listening to podcasts.
