I always have trouble running with earbuds because of the bounce. I use earfun free pro 2s. People have different ear shapes though so I’m not sure if that’s a problem you would face.

Are the air pro 4 much better than the free pro 2? I really like the free pro 2 form factor. I've heard the free pro 2 ANC is a lot better than the free pro 3, but not idk how it compares to the air pro 4

I've used Tozo and Earfun and Soundcore. All 3 were good. The Earfun was clearly the best, but it had a widespread issue (that I also had) where it stopped connecting to its dock/case. That was the 2 Pro though, so it might be fixed now. Next would be the Tozo when it comes to sound quality, but Soundcore had a good app and better support. The sound on the Tozos I had punched way above its weight.

I have the second option. They fit VERY well while I run, but the sound quality isn't great. Wife has both the X10 and X20 and likes the X20 a lot more. Says the sound is noticeably better (and she doesn't have an ear for that usually), and the ANC is nice. Check out the Earfun Free Pro line. I have the 2 and they are my favorite mid-budget earbuds for running. They sound great, have good ANC, and fit in my ear for the \~ 30 miles a week I run. I'm not sure if they sell the 2 anymore but I see the 3 on sale a lot for $50 or less USD.

The ANC is pretty good on the Free Pro 2 (not the 2s), but I haven't tried the Free Pro 3 so I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the Free Pro 2 anywhere now, so they may not sell it anymore. They're also ~$50 so you're not gonna get amazing ANC for that price.

!thanks Didn't really work out for sound or comfort and I had to return them after one bud grew uncomfortably hot and started giving funny battery warnings, but you did help me further narrow down what I want and need design-wise. :)

Currently using Earfun's Free Pro 2. Has ANC, good battery life, good fit, and overall good sound. Honestly its very underrated imo. Been using it for 1.5 years and still performs well. It never gets loose in my ears during runs and workouts. This model doesnt have app support but the Free Pro 3 does, maybe that's something that could interest you.

I'm glad at least they were a good jumping off point. But what you describe is not my experience at all. Super comfortable and sound for two years until I unfortunately forgot them in a pair of jeans that went into the washing machine

Honestly, I don't use them now. I went back to the free pro 2. I just find the free pro 2 better as they are tiny and I can sleep with them in. Tech and settings and sound quality wise the 4's are the better bud for sure though.

One of earfuns earlier and cheaper models. Doesn't have app support but you can use airreps app to change sound profiles etc. Basically same hardware as earpod knockoffs but fit right into your ear. Like nearly the whole bud, no stem.

It's not like I'm some aficionado who has tried tons of different buds, but damn do my Earfuns sound amazing for $70 earbuds. I went so far as to buy custom tuning settings from Oluv and I love the really neutrally tuned sound. Unfortunately they're not perfect for running. They haven't actually fallen out yet, but they feel like they will and I don't want to get distracted from my run trying to adjust them. I want something with earhooks so I just don't have to worry about it anymore. The problem is that my earfuns have turned me into a snob so I'm afraid to buy just any buds. What do you all recommend under $100 for an earhook style bud that sounds good with decent battery life?

r/Earbuds • I love my Earfun Free Pro 2s but they're not the best for running. Is there a comparable earbud with ear hooks on the market with similar sound quality and price? ->

> Earfun is like no difference in anc on and off. I can't tell if the anc is on or off when switching both. I agree that the ANC doesn't do anything on AP4, noise cancelling was better on my Earfun Free Pro 2.

Not necessarily. Like all brands they probably make duds. Dud buds lol. I don't have airpods nor do I have any of Sony's but I have earfun free pro 2 & free pro 3 and there's an option with the newer ones to prioritise "stable connection first" that's why I asked about yours if you had an option to do that or change codecs in your phone settings. I guess that doesn't apply to the vita though. Dang The newer ones are worse for losing connection and stuttering but that option probably improves it by a lot. I should test it. My other modern headphones (OneOdio A10 focus - these are the ones that have to go into pairing mode with the vita or they switch off) also break up and stutter when I change rooms. Some distance but not as much as I'd like. I can't go to pee or grab a drink leaving the vita in my room without them disconnecting. Out and about with devices on my person there's no issues at all with any of them though. The older earfun free pro 2 with the SBC codec don't break up or stutter. You can go quite far before they disconnect. So I reckon it's the aptx codec that's the issue. Higher quality sound at the cost of decreased distance. Worse again if you put them into gaming mode.

Heard a lot of buzz about the earfun pro 4, cheap and best bang for your buck. Recently ordered one myself along with an technics az80. Love the az80, legit feel like an extension of my body, like cyberpunk vibes. The earfun pro anc is pretty sweet, I would say 80% of the az80. Sound quality is great, the only downside I found was the tips, they don’t fit my ear well.

I jumped from Soundcore liberty 3 pro then to Ear Fun Pro 2 cuz I lost my l3p right pair then now to samsung galaxy buds 3 pro cuz I have a s24 ultra. I don't like the fit tho compare to my ear fun 2 pro and it's been more than 2 years. I'd return my galaxy buds 3 pro for anything cheaper with almost same features and sound

I'd recommend looking at the Earfun Pro 2, inexpensive, and have everything you will need for a great price, I got them for 50 at a special and they sounded better than my sisters Apple Variants bluetooth Earphones, I hate designs that aren't easy to handle, so it's why I liked these over the rest.

Try Earfun. I like the Earfun Free Pro (2 or 3) because they're comfortable and not big. The noise cancelling is not "the best in the world" but still *very* good.

I've got both the earfun air pro and the free pro. I like the frees better both in sound and comfort l. Only thing I'd say the airs have over the frees is a slightly better mic. Both are excellent for the price though.

I like the Gamesir controllers. They have some cheap Bluetooth that are good quality. I like the earfun earbuds with the gaming mode. Cuts down the frequency distance but better short term use. Wife’s AirPods had noticeable lag. Earfuns did not.

Got some earfun after my dog chewed up my soundcore liberty pro 3 and I've been surprised. Used them on a recent flight and had really good anc. The fitment is a little iffy but need to try swapping tips or finding some memory foam ones.

I bought a set of Ear Fun buds after my official Google Pixel ones broke, been really happy with them so far, great sound, really good bass, nice top end, comfortable and the case charge lasts weeks! They were under £50 too.
