I have the second option. They fit VERY well while I run, but the sound quality isn't great. Wife has both the X10 and X20 and likes the X20 a lot more. Says the sound is noticeably better (and she doesn't have an ear for that usually), and the ANC is nice. Check out the Earfun Free Pro line. I have the 2 and they are my favorite mid-budget earbuds for running. They sound great, have good ANC, and fit in my ear for the \~ 30 miles a week I run. I'm not sure if they sell the 2 anymore but I see the 3 on sale a lot for $50 or less USD.
The ANC is pretty good on the Free Pro 2 (not the 2s), but I haven't tried the Free Pro 3 so I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the Free Pro 2 anywhere now, so they may not sell it anymore. They're also ~$50 so you're not gonna get amazing ANC for that price.
!thanks Didn't really work out for sound or comfort and I had to return them after one bud grew uncomfortably hot and started giving funny battery warnings, but you did help me further narrow down what I want and need design-wise. :)
Earfun free pro2. Very comfortable. Not neutral sounding until you apply Oluv's EQ. Then they transform into the best sounding pair of buds without an equal
I'm glad at least they were a good jumping off point. But what you describe is not my experience at all. Super comfortable and sound for two years until I unfortunately forgot them in a pair of jeans that went into the washing machine
I've been using two different sets of EarFun Free Pro 2 since 2021 and really like their sound quality, but also weight, feel, controls, noise cancellation, and battery life. They're a bit dated, so just ordered the new Air Pro 4+ today to pair with my 10 Pro XL after watching plenty of reviews on all the options. You can spend a lot more and not get the same quality of sound. I guess it's not surprising how much branding affects reviews, I'm always amazed how much more you can spend for less performance. EarFun only has tap volume though, the touch option would be the OnePlus Buds 4... but no wireless charging. And I like the EarFun sound quality as highest rated, so didn't want to change.
Honestly, I don't use them now. I went back to the free pro 2. I just find the free pro 2 better as they are tiny and I can sleep with them in. Tech and settings and sound quality wise the 4's are the better bud for sure though.
One of earfuns earlier and cheaper models. Doesn't have app support but you can use airreps app to change sound profiles etc. Basically same hardware as earpod knockoffs but fit right into your ear. Like nearly the whole bud, no stem.
I’m quite happy with my Earfun free Pro 2 so just get the new Earfun
Earphone Free Pro 2. I am a petite woman with small ears who struggled to find buds that fit and STAYED in. These have a little tab that tucks up under your ear and keeps the buds in place.
Got some earfun after my dog chewed up my soundcore liberty pro 3 and I've been surprised. Used them on a recent flight and had really good anc. The fitment is a little iffy but need to try swapping tips or finding some memory foam ones.
