I've been running with my Pixel buds pro for a couple of years, never had a problem with them

I got the pixel buds pro a while back and they are the best. Great audio quality and while it's not perfect the active noice canceling is great for loud coworkers.

I use transparency when I'm walking my dog. But that's it. Otherwise it's full noise canceling.

I have a pair. The audio quality is pretty good, but I almost always grab my pixel buds pro or Sony XM5 headphones instead. The status earbuds are uncomfortable, and stick out of your ears super weirdly. They come with a ton of tips but none of them fit quite right for me. The app/connectivity is kind of a problem too. There are three EQ settings built in, one that sounds great (classic?) and two that sound horrendous. They also don't support APTX or LDAC which is a goofy decision for "audiophile" earbuds. If you're using Android- the Pixel Buds Pro are actually pretty good.

I have the Pixel Buds Pro with a P7 and if it wasn't for the fact I got them cheap I would be very annoyed. The fit is rubbish if you have small ears , you can walk in them but not properly run. Even when walking, having to adjust them regularly leads to hitting pause or launching the assistant etc. I find the touch controls awful too , still can't work out how to consistently change volume. When it's time to change I'll get Sony all day.

Buds Pro. They're fine for walking and the gym and sitting at a desk but do start to come loose in my ears so I wouldn't trust them for running. I have tiny ears. Sound good, nowhere near as good as my over ears XM3 though. Good ANC capabilities.

I use Google Buds Pro and it is excellent in cancelling out white noise (if I'm walking or even biking, the person on the other end can't even hear the wind noise). But it is equally terrible in cancelling out other people's voices.

I use my AirPods 2 Pro for my Apple stuff. Pixel Buds Pro for gym since I don't care whatsoever about those buds. And when I want to listen to music I actually use Sony XM5s.

I have Pixel buds Pro 's I don't like wearing them for weights but they are great for the treadmill and the bike.

I have pixel pro buds they do a decent job drowning out the pish radio station they play in the gym.

I know we're all different and that my ears have a strange format but the original Pixel Buds Pro are one of the very few earphones that stay inside my ears no matter what I do. Even during sweaty activities like running or gym sessions, they fit great and stay there.

I'm a Pixel and iPhone user, but I assume iPhone and Mac will be the same experience. I use Pixel Buds Pro, they're able to jump back and forth easy enough, connecting was easy, given that it's connected to both devices I still can use my preferred controls. The one time it has a hiccup is when I am listening to something on pixel, then take a call on iPhone, it doesn't always auto focus back to pixel.

I've been using the original Pixel Buds Pro for awhile now. They're pretty good for the most part, granted I have been seeing some issues with them ever since Android 15. I don't know if it is just the buds degrading or if they messed up something with the update. The Bluetooth seemingly disconnects initially when starting music which didn't used to happen. Also often the left earbud stays connected long after putting them back in their case. That has happened the entire time I have owned them.

I used Jabra headphones for a bit and they never lasted more than 6 months before one of the earbuds died. went through probably 4 pairs. I've had Google Pixel Buds Pro for two years now, I get about 4:30 out of them at pretty high volumes, and I just did a 4:18 17 mile trail run in the mountains where I think I had to adjust them once. fit is very individual but they're perfect for me

A huge plus for Google Buds Pro and the Sony XM5 is the support for Google Find My Device network. I didn't like the sound quality of the Buds Pro, though. I'm currently using the 1More EVO.

I've really only enjoyed pixel buds pro out of the very few I have used. Be aware that my first set of pixel buds pro had to be returned! I'm happy with the second set though. I'd feel weird wearing proper headphones everywhere like I used to.

I love my pbp, i love the features, but hate the fit. One ear just doesn't want to take the bud properly. It's always getting loose and i tried changing the size of the earpiece but it never worked properly. I do however love the fit of my pb-a. Is the fit better on the pbp2?

google pro buds have a great soundstage (i think, anyway); the A series sounded very tinny to me. turning on ANC makes the sound even fuller

I got refurbished pixel buds pro from best buy, on sale for around $70. They are great. You can get good deals in refurbished earbuds if you don't mind making sure they are clean once you get them.

I'm using the Pixel Buds Pro 2 (history of earbuds includes: OG Pixel Buds Pro, WF-1000XM4, and AirPods Pro 2). Honestly, out of all the earbuds I have used, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are my favorite ones - they are really comfortable to wear and actually stay in my ear with the original ear tips (unlike the OG Pixel Buds Pro or, to a lesser extent, AirPods Pro 2, which had a tendency to fall out gradually while exercising or chewing on food). The audio quality is really good and, important for me as I make a lot of call throughout the day, the mic quality is pretty great with my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Overall, if you are willing to splurge a bit, I think they would be a great choice!

I have the Pixel Buds Pro and they are excellent, good noise cancelling and good sound quality.

Can endorse this. I don't like the latest Galaxy Buds Pro's design and being first gen Google Buds Pro user, they are just amazing for the price (I got them with my phone). The sound profile (esp. the bass) can sometimes be comparable to my Sony WH910n.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 for most things, and Nothing Ear if I'm just gonna listen to music. OG Pixel Buds Pro as backup. PBP2 are the most comfortable buds I've ever used, and the battery lasts me from like 6 AM- 2PM on 1 charge with ANC on. The sound quality for music isn't mindblowing, but they sound nice imo. The Nothing Eat sound amazing though, and have phenomenal bass for buds.

I have used Pixel Buds Pro (1), Bose QuietComfort Ultra, and WF-1000XM4. I got the Bose when I lost my Pixel Buds in October. I wonder about the Pixel Buds Pro 2, but the Bose and Sony both blew the Pro 1 away with the noise cancelling. The Bose noise cancelling is so good that I haven't bothered taking my WH-1000XM5 headphones (over-the-ear) on my last few flights. However, I find that my WF-1000XM4s can be worn for a long time. I also use them with my PC for work calls. This is actually my second pair. My first set had the right one die after nearly two years. But I used them a ton. After doing a lot of reading on the XM5 vs XM4, it seemed like the XM4 was better (and I knew I liked them). When using my Bose with my MacBook for calls, the microphone quality seems not great (like if I record my self in a test call).

Pixel buds 2 with 9 pro. They're super comfortable, anc is good, sound quality is fantastic, volume took a big jump from the first iteration and they work seamlessly with phone. Battery life is great, and case battery gets me through about 2 weeks before a recharge. Transparency and conversation detection works a lot better than I expected. Only complaint is the touch pad on the ear bud causes songs to skip or pause when I need to adjust it while I'm in the gym. Seems impossible to touch it at all without activating some kind of control. But I've enjoyed the experience and highly recommend. 

I finally bought something off the Google store, super seamless. The earbuds were great. I think they were around $250. Definitely have decent low end bass tones in it. All in all I'd give them a B+

The pixel buds pro are the ones I just picked up. Definitely a great price, durable, practical, I love that Google, basically copied Sony's software, and it's an American company. That's the American way in a sense of taking technology and then creating a business in America. It was the first time I ever used the Google store, it took minutes, shipped fast, was a lovely buying experience; and as the Google store gets bigger and bigger, I'm sure they'll add to their product line. Definitely great overall Price point for a great product that hopefully lasts a while. I think mine are maybe 6 months old, barely used but definitely practical for phone calls temporarily, maybe a webinar, computer use for zoom calls Different colors, nice sleek 3D printing, sinks seamlessly with the phone. I think I had issues with an old Sony over the ear that we're about 350, it seemed they just wouldn't sink or were degenerate with an old MetroPCS Samsung phone I had. I think that's why I got frustrated, I might have damaged them, but luckily I bought him at Best buy and I could just return them as I had the warranty. * The Sony ones I bought for an ex-girlfriend, I thought they were extremely good for the price, I can't reference the sound, maybe check the frequencies, and the actual math data in between the two and find out between the Sony's And the pixel buds, for 75 bucks. What do you get? Are you getting deeper frequencies, maybe deeper bases, so that might be an angle to consider and check if you have the final two.

I got pixel 6 pro and am still using pixel buds pro. Sometimes a little buggy but I'm not done with them yet

I have the Pixel Buds Pro. I was tempted to upgrade to the Buds Pro 2 when they came out, but there weren't enough differences to justify it.

Love my OG Pixel Buds Pro, which I believe check all the boxes. I've been particularly impressed with the mics. Excellent clarity even when I'm taking a call by a busy street.

I have tried Samsung buds, Soundcore buds, and Pixel Buds. So far, my favorite have been the Pixel Buds Pro. They sound great, have great battery life, and the case is nice and small.

Sennheiser momentum 3, pixel buds pro, pixel buds pro 2, Sony XM4 and listened to 5. It's impossible for them to be "terrible" because I hear nothing with them in when I did with all the others. Either you're extra sensitive or have a shit seal with them.

I walk in both worlds: Pixel Buds A-Series Pixel Buds Pro Apple Airpods Pro I also tried other brands, like Bose, which didn't fit well at all and returned it right away. Or the no-name orange light special at Woot, which didn't fit or work well at all (yeah, cheapie, I know). So it's all about fit for me. Before ordering, make sure you can return it if you don't like it. Airpods is a backup to my daily driver Pixel Buds Pro.

I use the Pixel Buds Pro, have been using them for a while now and whenever I workout, I change the ear tips to memory foam ones so they don't fall out. The reason I don't leave the memory foam ones is because the silicon ear tips block noise better.

I have Pixel Buds Pro with a P8P. They work for me with foam tips, but I probably wouldn't buy them again right now, with PBP2 likely around the corner. The ANC and transparency modes aren't that good. And the fit isn't secure without foam tips. And the latency is bad, even with the Pixel phone. The touch controls regularly stop responding. And the spatial audio features don't work well either. They're fine earbuds, but there's nothing special about them imo.

Pixel buds pro sound great and definitely give you more of an ecosystem feel similar to Samsung and Apple with their respective earbuds when using the software. But the software experience isn't that much different from Sony and the sound quality is way better.

Buds Pro here, and to an average non-audiophile, they sounds great and connect easy to both windows and my P8P. The one thing I hate about them is that they will not stay in my ears. I've tried different size seals and even some of the memory foam tips, but nothing works. I just want to mow my yard without them taking out!!

I sold my Pixel Buds Pro because the app stopped working properly. It wouldn't let me customise any of the gestures.

I'm interested about the reliability over time and things related to software/firmware bugs. I never had issues with my PBP in terms of sound quality or ANC or transparency quality "in a vacuum," but they always had various bugs like remaining connected after being put in the case, or going into an audio echo state when in cellular voice calls, or in-ear detection occasionally going wonky and causing other issues. But then I ended up getting a pair of bose QC ultras and noticed how much better their ANC and transparency were. I honestly didn't care that much about the difference of either, but it's mostly the fact that I haven't had bugs like I did with the PBP. With google pushing the price of the PBP2 up toward the more-premium price point, I hope they improved their software/firmware QC.

My experience is pretty much the same. Still rocking these sound quality is good but I have connection issues and the buds are still connected after they are in the case occasionally. Usually just putting a bit more pressure so they make contact with the pins fixes this. Surprisingly a lot of cheaper earbuds have caught up in sound quality and ANC. I also occasionally listen with a $20 pair of Moon drop space travels and the sound blows me away for the price point.

I currently use a pair of Google Pixel Series A buds. I won them through a rewards program from my job and I love using them. I can easily pair them with my Moto or my work iPhone depending on when I need them. If you can, I would get these or the Pixel Pro buds.

I like the ease of sync, but I'll be damned if the buds pro aren't the quietest (quality) headphones/earbuds I've ever had. I've never turned volume all the way up on my headphones/earbuds, but with these, volume max is my default. Disappointing. Otherwise, awesome all around.

I did some factory reset shit, like turn off "absolute audio" or something then reset the buds pros then reconnect or something. Made a small difference. Found the method on Reddit. Also try, as redic as it sounds in 2024 to have to do this, but turn phone volume on minimum, then buds pro volume to maximum, then turn phone back up. Mine are loud enough to be acceptable when doing this, but I still wish they went like 10-20% louder.

I've personally used the pixel buds a, pixel buds pro, and Sony Link buds S. What's your use case going to be? My A's are my favorite to grab for a workout because of the wingtips, but otherwise I don't use them anymore because they hurt my ears. The pros I adored, but lost them and replaced with the Sony's. The pros have better touch controls and seemed to have better microphones on them. The battery life is also amazing. But I prefer the fit and sound on the Sony Link buds S. To me the linkbuds have a richer sound, and as someone who listens to a lot of different music they handle everything I throw at them. They're also usually on sale for $150 or less. (Got mine for $130) All of them have had great integration with assistant. Especially the pros and the linkbuds. While I haven't used the galaxy buds I've heard good things. So.. my suggestion would be to go for the galaxy buds or look at Sony buds.

I have the same set up. I often use them when during work, I love the way the seamless switch between android and windows.

I used to use the Pixel Buds Pro, but I started using the Nothing Ear (open) and prefer them more.

I liked the Tozo buds as a basic budget option. The Pixel Buds Pro go on sale for $150 and are worth every penny.

I had the Pixel Buds, Pixel Buds 2, and now Pixel Buds Pro. I love them. I think they sound really great for their size and price, really long battery (which was why I got them to replace my Pixel Buds 2) and the "Transparency mode" also is pretty impressive (though I never really use it).

Same, until one stopped charging. Now I use pixel bud pro and they're as good or better.

Pixel Buds Pro. I've had them for almost 2 years now, and they are still very good. Noise cancelling is good for the size (enough for drowning out noise in the office where I work), battery life is great, call quality is good. I know some people had an issue with the fit, but I've never had an issue with them staying in my ears. Maybe it's just because I have bigger ears. My only complaint is that transitioning between devices (eg phone to laptop) can be annoying at times, but overall not bad.

For true wireless, I've found Sennheiser Momentum true wireless very comfortable. I just got my hands on some of them series and they have been great. I find the fit the best and I use them for hours for music and work. For these. You find the tip that has a secure fit and then rotate the whole bud back into the ear. If you want active noise cancellation and top of the line, I recommend these, either the Momentum TW 3 or TW 4. You can find the 4s at best buy for $250 now. I've tried others at the top end including older models of the Sony WF..XM series and they were not nearly as comfortable. I also have a pair of Pixel Buds Pro that I do find comfortable but have trouble with the seal and active noise cancellation being weak, especially when I'm commuting via the train. If you buy from best buy, you can return if they don't work (it's how I was able to try the Sony's before I returned them).

I'm using the pixel buds pro with my pixel 8 and it works great, the pairing is seamless and the audio is great for my liking, in terms of features obviously the pixel buds will be the better match for the pixel phone.

Still have the original pixel buds pro and like them a lot. Won't change them until the battery life decreased to where I find it unbearable or run into any issues.

same n i 100% agree. i also have Jabra Elite 8 Active, Pixel Buds Pro, Status Between 3ANC, Bowles & Wilkins, it's insane how much better the Epic Labs sound than ALL of those wit a bit of EQ tweaking. they definitely punch above their weight class

I have the same issue with the 2's and the 1's with magnified wind sounds which goes away when turning your head. Not sure why they can handle wind head on but not from the side of the buds

Wrong time to buy Galaxy buds 3 pro are days away and Pixel buds 2 pro coming next month. As for me I like pixel buds pro better than galaxy buds 2 pro. Pixel fit in my ear perfectly without any issue but some people do have this issue with Pixel buds pro.

I had the a series, lost them and replaced with pro. Hated the fit, the lack of fin/wing to keep them put just made them totay wrong for my ears... Gutted. Anyone have experienxe with the pro2 being better? They seem to have a little grip section. I have a pixel phone and tablet, so keen to keep with Google. Thank you!

Ok sure, if you say so, comes down to personal preference I guess. I auditioned these between Bose QC 2024, Pixel Buds Pro and Sony WF-1000XM5 and I can't really tell the difference. The A40 actually fit my ears best and the size and build is on par with the Sony. The sound quality and ANC I can't tell the difference, certainly not enough to make me pay 4x as much. These days all earbuds are good. It's not like in the past where you went from cheap 2 dollar wired earpods to quality over ear headphones and you were blown away by the difference. Now the internal drivers and circuitry is all very cheap and all the same more or less. The ANC patents expired in 2020, meaning everyone has the same implementation now. The price difference these days is purely branding and marketing.

Yes me too! Max volume was honestly like 70% volume on almost every other pair I currently own, including JLab Go Air and Sport models, Belkin Soundform Play, Galaxy Buds 2 and a few super cheap ones. I hope the new ones are louder. Somehow, I found the Pixel Buds Pro were LOUDER when connected to my old Galaxy S8, which was super weird!

Turning the volume up and down on the earbud is overrated and doesn't very work well for me on the pixel pro buds. I actually like beats pro by Dre because those little winged hooks keep it in my ear. Make sure you know what works best for your ear because even if it sounds amazing, if it keeps falling out, it's going to aggravate you in. Probably not last long.

I have the Pixel Buds Pro and they are amazing 10/10 and if anything happened to them I would run out and buy the Pro 2 immediately.

I will have had my Pixel Buds Pro for 2 years in September and apart from some scratches where I dropped the charging case in the road they are still going strong. I haven't noticed any great issues with battery life!

I've got the Sonys, they sound great and are comfortable even in my small ears (I use the comply foam tips with them). But their touch controls kind of suck (for example to change the volume you tap them several times, but to play/pause/skip you also have to tap it several times, so you have to get the speed just right). I upgraded from the original pixel buds pro, which I honestly didn't really like, and they turned me off from wanting to try the new ones. But their touch controls were much more intuitive and of course their app was much more nicely integrated with my phone.

I struggled with the same decision until I bought a pair of earbuds that fit me properly (pixel buds pro if you're curious). I can wear these buds for a very long time without fatigue, so I bought an Airfly and haven't looked back. In fact I'd say even if you stick with the over-ears, to get an Airfly type device anyways. Being untethered from the seat is great if someone has to squeeze by for the bathroom and whatnot.

Pixel Buds Pro, but it's really uncomfortable to wear for a long time. My cheap ass JBL buds gifted by the company fits snug and is more comfortable. I'm not sure if anybody else is facing this.

I was thinking about getting nothing ear or Samsung buds 3 pro to upgrade from my pixel buds pro. They fall out of my head too easily

There isn't any until you get to the Pixel Buds Pro, which is mediocre, I hear it's much improved on the Pro 2's.

I like my Pros but I wish the noise cancellation was a bit better, when I need an upgrade I'll probably go with those.

I've got the Pro ones and they're pretty comfortable and the noise cancelling is pretty good. I really like the transparent mode. Used it for the week I was in Tokyo so I could hear background noise like the train announcements, traffic but still hear Google Maps give directions. I'd have them in for somewhere between 3 and 5 hours but I'd be putting them back in the case a lot so they were constantly getting recharged.

I used the Pixel Buds Pro while in Tokyo and they were excellent. The transparent mode let me walk around with them in and hear train announcements, etc.

I have the pixel buds pro, the area they fall short in is loudness mostly. I still like them though.

I like the features of the Pixel Buds Pro: switch to transparent mode when I speak, translate, good sound. But I really like the fit and sound of my NC Soundcore buds. The Liberty 4 Pro NC are $130, but the Liberty 4 NC regular are on sale for $70. Battery life is supposed to be excellent, too. I have older models of Liberty Air 2 and Liberty 3 Pro. Both sound fantastic, and the Liberty Pro wings really keep 'em in your ear. I have Pixel Buds Pro, the first version without wings and they just don't stay in my ears, even with the Spin Fit attachments.

Do you think tws can explode in the ears? Because I did read the news where there were Samsung Galaxy buds which exploded in the ears of a lady. That's my new fear unlocked and I have five pairs of tws with me. 1. Samsung Galaxy buds 2 Pro 2. Pixel buds Pro 3. Pixel buds A series 4. Realme buds Air 3 5. Anker Liberty 4 TWS While they are all good brands and I don't wear them for hours, but I do feel it's a risk now.

Loved my Jaybird Runs when I got em, that was years ago and they don't make them anymore. Since then I've been swapping around. Of the rest I've used it probably goes Raycons, pixel buds pro, Jaybird vista 2. Currently use Pixel buds pro. Good enough I won't switch until they break.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a natural companion. I've really enjoyed my Pixel Buds Pro and would get the Pro 2 if they broke some day.

It depends on what I'm doing. My daily is the Pixel Buds Pro. I also have the Pixel Buds A Series. If I'm working out, I use a pair of earbuds from a company called JZones. They are $30 USD and work amazing.

I've got the pixel bud pros and to be honest I'm very disappointed. No and again they let out this horrible high pitched whine and the left bud has gotten much much quieter than the right. Recently replaced with some xm5 Sony's (in ears) and the difference is night and day, not only in noise cancelling but the quality of the music too. Early days but so far I can't fault them.

So ...I have Pixel Buds A for a long long time. I bought Galaxy Buds Pro 2 for my mom since she is using Galaxy A54 and I didnt quite like it. Sound is fine but I would rather get the Pixel Buds Pro - so I did. Great sound and features but God they didnt feel as secure in my ears as Buds A /keep in mind I have quite small ears/ so I returned the Buds Pro and stayed with Buds A since the little hooks holds really really good. I have Pixel Buds Pro, but only use them for phone calls when I want/need to use them. For the gym and short flights, Beats Fit Pro. For long flights, Bose 700s.

I have Pixel Buds Pro. Cons: They're not gonna be as noise cancelling as over the ear headphones and if you have an iPhone, you're SOL. Pros: They're still pretty damn good (I actually slept with them in on one fight), they're much, much smaller.

I've had the Pros and Pro 2 and they've both been fantastic. I upgraded to the Pros 2 because I wanted longer battery life (I travel a lot and the Pros with ANC weren't quite able to make it a full 8 hour flight. The Pro 2s should be able to handle it easily) and I'd say they're a bit more comfortable and stay in the ear better when active, but honestly either are solid choices.

Jabra Elite 7 Pro which for me have been flawless for about 3 years but I'm not a heavy user... however Jabra are no longer producing any consumer earbuds now so I'd prob go for something different if I was buying again now. I did have the Pixel Buds Pro for a short while but I returned them as they came as a bundle with phone I also returned. They were really good though, fitment not as good as the Jabra. For me the fitment is the main reason for picking the buds I have.

Pixel buds pro sound good to me, for Bluetooth buds. I think they license their stuff from bose?

Pixel buds pro(got them so heavily discounted, literally 50%off). ..music sound quality is a cut above, so good Huawei free buds 6i. Great for phone calls. Music Sound quality is really good too.

I have 2 years old Pixel Buds Pro and they work very well with MS Teams. Everyone can hear me clearly and they don't hear anything else from my house. Just my voice. And the ANC is quite good enough for my need.

Earfun Free Pro 3, Baseus MA10S, Liberty 3 Pro - all have wings and are good choices. I usually have the best luck with buds with wings, but Pixel Buds Pro & JBL Live Beam 3 stay in place well for me without wings.

Do you not have a bit of a delay? My pixel buds pro have a noticeable 300-400ms lag, and there is nothing that can be done about that. Maybe it doesn't bother some people, but I couldn't use them, and bought cheap wired in ears instead

It literally integrates with the phone. Like, you don't need to install an app to customize settings. I have a pair of Sony XM5 headphones I needed to install their app to customize settings. The Pixel buds settings are baked right into the phone, you can access them by going into the Bluetooth settings.

If you want to do any button customization, EQ settings, or other device settings. Then, yes, you would need to download an app if it wasn't Pixel Buds. All of those settings are built into the Pixel. I have the Sony Headphones app to do all of that. For my Pixel Buds Pro, I just go into its Bluetooth settings for the same settings.

Not OP, but I do a lot of running with my earbuds. I currently have the Pixel Buds Pro which I love (temptated to try the new ones with the wing). I find the issue with sports and earbuds is the sweat. Even if they are waterproof etc, if I don't clean them regularly, the ANC fails or I have issues with the sound. At first I thought I'd broken my buds when I heard a high pitched noise with ANC on, but they were just cry to be cleaned... Alcohol wipes and a q-tip does the trick!

I agree with lots of this! Been using my Buds 2 Pro for just over a week and omg! The for is amazing, finally stay in and don't move. I hated the first Pixel Buds Pro. And can second that transparency mode! At first I was like do I even have them in? The sound was so natural I couldn't tell if not thinking about it

I came to the Pixel Buds Pro from Galaxy Buds + so I am not a good comparison necessarily because imo the Pixel Buds Pro sound absolutely amazing. The Pixel Buds can be a little finicky in the ear. I find they fit the most snug when I take a damp cloth and clean my ear and the buds of any oils. Then they fit snugly for hours until the sweat from working outside starts to cause them to slip again. Google Assistant can be hit or miss. It's great for hands free control of music when my hands are occupied. But any moisture on your hands is going to mess with the touch controls and make them almost unusable. With my 8a though it is incredibly useful to just be able to say "answer" when someone calls me .

So odd, because the volume is always plenty loud for me. I often have to turn them down

Pixel Bud Pros. I tried the Shokz but I didn't like the way it made my ears feel. Almost like a tickle.

I have/had several earbuds with silicon or foam tips: AirPods Pro 1&2, various Galaxy Buds, Pixel Buds Pro and the Sony WF-1000XM5. Some of theses are fantastic (especially the Sony XM5). But they all fall out and bother my ear canal. I've tried different sizes tips, Comply and other 3rd party tips nothing works. I wanted higher quality sound, but the AirPods 1 and 2 are the only ones that fit, didn't fall out and bother me. I never tried the AirPods 3, I'll try the 4s and hopefully they work like generations 1/2 did.

Bought these because my right ear which was operated on when I was very young never really had a good ear canal for in-ear type earbuds, which made me return the Pixel buds pro The Ear Open is literally a "forget you're wearing it" kind of audio device

I honestly couldn't tell you they sound worse than the Pixel buds pro, the major difference in sound is the fact that they're open and not sealed like the Google ones, but even so, I only really use them at half volume and it's plenty enough and with a surprising amount of bass and detail on something that isn't in ear Noise leak on the table playing, yes, but in someone's ear barely audible, you can definitely not make words out or anything like that

How well do they work with Gemini, and can Gemini properly understand you while wearing the buds? With my first gen buds pro it seems like gemini is very prone to misunderstanding at least a couple of words in most of my sentences -- sometimes wildly so. Doesn't really seem to be anything I can do about it except take them out and make sure its using my phone's mic instead.

I've used Pixel Buds Pro, since they were an option. Good fit, don't standout in a crowd, sound is great and decent ANC. They were also one of the only pairs of buds I've ever been able to lay down with and not feel like a hunk of plastic was trying to burrow into my skull. Recently upgraded to the Pixel Buds 2 Pro, finally, and its all better. Even better fit, sound is amazing for something this tiny, and ANC is much improved. They're also even smaller and stick out from the ear less, so even more comfortable to lay down with.

I love everything about them after losing my Pixel Buds Pro without being able to actually locate them using the location process. Same issue with Apple Airpods. The sound quality is great, they feel great in ear and don't feel like they are going to fall out. I can't stand the case, I want them in my pocket but don't want to have to have cargo pants to keep them on me. I can't have a case hanging off of my belt loop, working in construction and having a 3 year old makes this a non-option. Maybe I need to embrace the fanny pack lifestyle, or grab a man-purse for my headphones?

Pixel Buds Pro (1st gen) I've been very happy with them, but I'm not an audiophile by any stretch.

I would like to echo this opinion. I need more time, but when I fired up Tidal and said that high quality sound wasn't available on Bluetooth... I was concerned. Then I went looking for that big beautiful bass that should come from dual drivers. Not there. Messed with EQ, still didn't get great sound. Something is off. Both my Pro 2 and my Pixel Pro 2 sound better. And let's face it, the Pixel buds will auto switch between ANY Android device. That's core functionality for me

Google Pixel buds pro are my go to. I use them all day for calls and at night for audiobook / white noise

I have used my Google Pixel Buds Pro with my ally, works great. Long battery life on these and goes over Bluetooth. Used em on a 3hr car ride the Other day and worked flawlessly

pixel buds pro. The batteries doesnt last all day anymore so I bought a nothing ear fun pro 4 but I saw bad reviews of the mic so I bought a used nothing ear A. I am waiting on them to arrive now

ANC on earbuds are going to be different for everyone as not all ears are the same and they rely on how well they fit in the ear to create a seal. I think if your main objective is to get earbuds with decent ANC, you'd be best to buy from a store that has a good return policy so you can at least try them out. Btw, I use the pixel buds pro almost daily but in transparency mode because I use them at work and I need to hear what's around me but I found the ANC to be pretty good, not on the level as what you'd get from some over the ear headphones but that's expected.

Pixel Buds Pro (1st generation). If you can get it on sale (I bought it at 50% off RRP), it's excellent value for a premium TWS. Great noise cancelling, paired with great sound (as long as you apply a custom EQ - the default tuning is very bloated IMO). I wouldn't settle for cheaper options - you definitely get what you pay for, especially for noise cancelling and build quality. [Here's my custom EQ](https://i.imgur.com/Fn7dL7d.png) if you're interested in a neutral-ish tuning. Do note the 2nd generation [seems to have a much more natural tuning by default](https://www.soundguys.com/google-pixel-buds-pro-2-review-124563/#id-sound-124563), so there's probably not much need for EQ if you get the 2nd generation instead.

I have both the OG Pros and the As. The As fit much better, are much more secure in the ear, and are lighter. Def the better choice if you're using them during exercise. The sound quality is fine for things like podcasts and YouTube, and ok for music. The Pros sound much better tho. The ANC and bass are very noticeably better on the Pros. Pros are better choice if you're using them on an airplane or other noisy environment, or value a richer, deeper sound (esp for music). They are much less secure and often slip out of my ear though. Haven't tried the Pro 2s, maybe they will be the best of both worlds?

Same, I wear the older pixel A buds ones with my Germain helmet, and the shape lets the wind push them tighter into my ear canals. I got the new pro's, but they just don't feel the same and nowhere near as secure

I have the buds A and the pros. The reduction is much better on the pros. If you know how to put them on they are really great. A buds are also very good and will fit in the ear more easily. The latency is not terrible for both of them though.

if you put the noise reduction with your music in addition you will hear nothing. Sunday I'm waiting for my daughter's show and there was a run right next door. The guy had his speaker and broke everyone's ears... With my pro Puds I heard it slightly, but with the music it was perfect 

I've tried various Samsung Galaxy Buds variants, Google Pixel Buds Pro, Sony WF-1000XM4 and Sennheiser Momentum TW3. Currently in using the XM4 buds. The Sennheisers were a good fit and I liked the sound quality. I'd probably still be using them now if one of the buds hadn't stopped working a couple of weeks outside the warranty period. The Samsung buds were also a good fit and produced great sound. I'll never know if they were reliable because each and every time they produced a severe allergic reaction in my ears. The Pixel Buds Pro were utter garbage in my opinion. They were a poor fit, produced sound with no depth and never stayed in (probably because they were such s bad fit). They also produced an allergic reaction in my ears, albeit fast less severe than the Samsungs.

Pixel Buds Pro so far. Better than other earbuds I've used, very comfortable (enough to ignore the fact that they're in) and pretty good battery life. Noise control is good; there's room for better noise cancellation but it's not bad, and transparency is clear. Would be nice to have an amplification option for transparency as an extra thing. Spatial audio with the head tracking is great but not many things make use of that unfortunately. Multipoint works well; they're connected to my phone and will immediately connect to my Steam Deck when I switch it on for game audio. Rumour has it they might finally be in for a refresh this year and I hope to see more buffs to battery life and noise control.

I got the pixel buds A and the pixel buds pro an I prefer the pixel buds A. They sound good and sit firmly in my ears, I walk to work with them every day and have even gone jogging with them, which wouldn't have been possible with the Pixel Buds Pro

I've had mine for 4 months now and they're absolutely fantastic. They're the only earbuds I've been able to find that fit securely in my ears but don't hurt them. I previously had the pixel buds pro, which were great earbuds but the bloody things just kept falling out! The noise cancelling is second to none and I love a nice punchy base so the sound is fantastic for me. The immersive audio setting is also very cool. Another feature I really love is their ability to detect when there are loud noises in transparency mode and automatically quiet them. I'm autistic and this feature is invaluable to me when I'm at a social gathering and want the transparency to bring in people's voices but block out any sudden louder noises e.g. somebody suddenly shouting/laughing loudly. My only gripe is they don't do well with rumbles or bumps for example when I'm taking the bus, they're likely to make the journey more noisy rather than less by somehow amplifying the sound every time the bus goes over a hump. But overall a very positive experience with these buds, I've had none of the connectivity issues people tend to report

soooo....I don't normally recommend electronics, but I use my earbuds constantly (like 10+ hours a day) and I am very hard on them (lots of travel, lots of harsh environments). I went through earbuds pretty frequently until I bought the google pixel buds pro right when they came out and they have been absolute champions for me. They still look and function basically new despite the amount of use I put them through. I am VERY impressed with them

I'm sleeping real good with the first gen. No as comfortable on the side but I still mange. It also help when you have 7 hours of ANC for full sleep. So now with second gen I'm going to sleep even better haha with 8 hours and comfortable for all positions. 

Google Pixel Buds Pro would be a good fit, though I have no idea how well the ANC works compared to Apple Airpod as this is my first ANC earphone. However, I'd used it to filter out my roommate's loud snoring to help me sleep so it's pretty good for my usage.

I like the OG Google Pixel Buds Pro. A lot of people complain about the fit, including myself, but I picked up a set of Comply foam ear tips and it makes a whole world of difference and seems to be enough for me. I got mine on sale for Black Friday a year ago, and you can probably find them discounted nowadays as well. The Google Pixel Buds A-Series are really good as well and were some of the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn.

I hope you get a response but I'm supposed to receive mine tomorrow and will let you know how these sound biking. With the PBP1, it's like it magnified the wind when I was biking, but when I turned my head, it didn't do that. I can't bike with my head always sideways though. I'm really hoping the PBP2 is much better for biking.

I have not biked as much as I would have liked. I'd say overall they're incremental but noticeable improvements over the PBP1s for me. Biking around in OFF was pretty comfortable, but I prefer to be more situationally aware. With transparency and ANC, it got bad once I hit a certain speed, maybe 30mph, and similar to the PBP1s, when I turn my head it's a little bitter. This is at least a higher speed before they got bad. I am pretty happy with the improvement because now it's at least tolerable for me to bike with them. I do love that these are lighter but also don't feel like they're going to fall out as much. L I'll experiment more and report back.

So I personally just upgraded from my Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds as well. I did a bunch of research & narrowed down my search to these earbuds: -Sony WF-1000XM5 -Bose QC Ultra Earbuds (& QC II) -Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 -Technics EAH-AZ100 -Denon Perl Pro -Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 (& Buds Pro) I tried the XM5, which had a slightly nicer sound quality & bass extension, slightly nicer ANC/transparency/call quality, & overall nice design & connectivity. My issue with these is twofold: one, I want to get away from foam tips because I'm tired of replacing them & they hurt a little after some hours; two, the tips of the buds aren't as long as the XM4, so I just couldn't get them to fit my ears. Returned but otherwise would've kept them. The Bose I didn't try, but I did try the QC II earbuds, which are virtually identical in real world use. I returned my QC II because the noise cancelling on the high frequency range was just bad compared to my XM4. At the time, I got Sony to give me an out-of-warranty replacement on the buds since the battery life was crapping out after an update. The Pi8 were the most comfortable earbuds I've ever tried, the sound quality was top-notch (even with the AAC codec), the case retransmission feature made them sound even better, & they look super nice. I had major issues with them unfortunately. ANC/transparency/call quality was unacceptable for $400 earbuds, as were the constant connectivity issues I experienced. The buds would randomly not turn on when taken out of the case, or just one wouldn't turn on, or they wouldn't connect, or sometimes the buds would randomly disconnect/reconnect, or sometimes the buds would disconnect from each other. I really wanted to keep them but they were borderline unusable, even after an update. Returned. I've tried the Pixel Buds Pro twice, & I tried the Pixel Buds Pro 2 once recently. I had high hopes for them since I have a Pixel phone & since I really enjoyed the Pixel Buds 2 that I had before my XM4. Both of the Pros had sound quality that wasn't as good as my XM4, as was the ANC/transparency. They'd be decent for the right person, but not for me. Returned. I was going to try the Denon Perl Pro earbuds until I tried the Technics AZ100. The Technics have virtually everything I was looking for & then some: LDAC codec support for high quality listening; ANC/transparency/call quality that is as good (if not better) than my XM4 (the ANC doesn't block as much high frequency sounds due to silicone tips instead of foam, but it's close enough for me); super comfortable & I don't have to jam the earbuds into my ear canal; very customizable touch controls for each ear bud; great battery life; slim case; solid connectivity with no drop outs so far; low latency for video; and they look great! TL;DR: I bought the XM5, AZ100, Pixel Buds Pro 2, QC II Earbuds, & Pi8 to replace my XM4. XM5 didn't fit right, Pixel Buds weren't great, QC II/Ultra were a wash, & Pi8 had way too many issues for the price. AZ100 are such solid all-rounders that they're worth the price. If the XM5 fit your ears, they're also really good. Pi8 are phenomenal if listening quality is your top priority. Bose are decent as well. I picked AZ100!

I don't really like OP buds. Ironically the best ones I've used are Pixel pro. I can walk around and talk with them and hear everything.

Hey Routine, no I haven't, but in my opinion the google buds are way more secure in the ear, they're much smaller, have the wing, and for my ears, are definitely a better fit than the AZ100's. The AZs are good, but not as secure or comfortable.

Yeah sorry man! They are comfy, and they are relatively secure, but I definitely dont think they compare to the Googles, if you had problems with the pixel buds pro 2 (bearing in mind all our ears are different so take this with a grain of salt) then I dont think the AZ100's could be better. They definitely sound more clear than the GPBP2 though! They're pretty close to the Jabra Elite 10 gen 2 or the Jabra Elite 8s I'd say, like very close in terms of comfort/security.

I have Google Buds Bose QC Ultra a d B+O EX The EX blows the others away for sound, battery life awful and next to no ANC, these are my got to at home , crap app Ultra is a superb fit and great all rounder Pixel buds for when I dont care if I lose them so on the beach
