I had the Pro 1s and they worked great except for the fact that my ears would constantly push them out and they would fall out after ~30 minutes of use. I also felt like ANC wasn't as good as it could've been. I got the Pro 2s when they were on sale and I've been loving them. They stay in my ears without issue and the sound quality is nearly identical (to my ears). ANC and transparency mode are also incredible with these buds. However, when I'm watching any streaming, like prime video, sometimes the audio cuts out every few seconds which is insanely irritating, but it doesn't happen constantly so I'm looking the other way.

Still have my pixel buds pro originals since January 2023 and they still sound great! Noise cancelling isn't like my Bose qc's but remember Bose is the best noise cancelling. But my pixel buds aren't shabby either. It cancells out 95% of noise good enough for me. I rarely use noise cancelling i'm always utilizing transparency mode to hear my surroundings. You will definitely enjoy PBP's if you buy now. They are even greater when paired with a pixel phone 🤳🏼 as I have paired to my pixel 9a https://preview.redd.it/1p7neeyfmgkf1.jpeg?width=2100&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=caa324f09ace0aa952149af1b3d945a044468da3

Used the original pixel buds pro, the bose qc ultra buds (gen 1), and bought and returned the pixel buds pro 2. Bose qc ultra has better ANC and transparency than the pixel buds pro 2. To the extent it matters for the price? Not really, not in my opinion. My issue with the pixel buds pro 2 was that any minor thing like chewing food, swallowing liquid, impacts from jogging, even tapping them to control audio, would cause the PBP2 to essentially try to compensate for the perceived change in sound and trigger a plugged/vacuum sensation in my ears for a couple seconds (audio sound would seem suppressed--not like an audio ducking sensation). Never had that with the bose--they behave perfectly in that regard. What I don't like about the bose is the charging case is more bulky, the headphones don't report the charge level of the case through the phone, and the case doesn't support wireless charging. None of these things are dealbreakers for me, but things to consider. For the price of the PBP2? Hard to consider the other much more costly things. If they don't misbehave for your ears like they did for mine, then the PBP2 is a good option for the price for you in my opinion.

Same here! It's making me a little nervous. Reading everyone's issues with the Pro 2s, I'm hoping my Pro 1s last until the Pro 3s come out. 😁

Both MTW4 and Pixel Buds Pro 1 are solid. Among your options, AZ100 has excellent detail and imaging, but the jump from AZ80 may not be worth it unless you're picky about separation and staging. For clean vocals and acoustic, I’d lean AZ100 > DPP > MTW4. Hey, if you still can't decide, you can always try out the sound of each on audiotones .co

I use a single pixel bud pro, with it set on pass through. Doesn't obstruct my hearing, and I pretty much forget I'm wearing it, if not for the occasional speech from CARV.

I have the OG buds, buds pro 1, buds pro 2 and buds a and none of them have stopped working.

I sent my pro 2's back and kept my pro 1's. Some quality issues...snap crackle pop sound when exercising with a helmet or headband on that was not fixed with a different ear tip and does not happen on Pro1. Something about even light pressure of fabric on the bud makes this happen. Plus the sound would cut out of a bud randomly like others have mentioned.
