Pixel Buds Pro 1

I had the Pro 1s and they worked great except for the fact that my ears would constantly push them out and they would fall out after ~30 minutes of use. I also felt like ANC wasn't as good as it could've been. I got the Pro 2s when they were on sale and I've been loving them. They stay in my ears without issue and the sound quality is nearly identical (to my ears). ANC and transparency mode are also incredible with these buds. However, when I'm watching any streaming, like prime video, sometimes the audio cuts out every few seconds which is insanely irritating, but it doesn't happen constantly so I'm looking the other way.

Used the original pixel buds pro, the bose qc ultra buds (gen 1), and bought and returned the pixel buds pro 2. Bose qc ultra has better ANC and transparency than the pixel buds pro 2. To the extent it matters for the price? Not really, not in my opinion. My issue with the pixel buds pro 2 was that any minor thing like chewing food, swallowing liquid, impacts from jogging, even tapping them to control audio, would cause the PBP2 to essentially try to compensate for the perceived change in sound and trigger a plugged/vacuum sensation in my ears for a couple seconds (audio sound would seem suppressed--not like an audio ducking sensation). Never had that with the bose--they behave perfectly in that regard. What I don't like about the bose is the charging case is more bulky, the headphones don't report the charge level of the case through the phone, and the case doesn't support wireless charging. None of these things are dealbreakers for me, but things to consider. For the price of the PBP2? Hard to consider the other much more costly things. If they don't misbehave for your ears like they did for mine, then the PBP2 is a good option for the price for you in my opinion.

I have them and can't wait to upgrade. The Pixel Buds Pro 1 were so much better, besides it's heavier weight. The Pixel 2's sound quality isn't that great. The highs sound smudgy, the sound itself modulates in and out when there's outside noise, the design calls for constant cleaning of the grills, and the fit is too loose, even with the largest tips.

This summer I am going to be working as a lawn mower/landscaper. Bc of the loud mowers and bumps I was thinking of getting the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2. Though I couldn't find anything about how good the ANC was on them. I have used the Pixel Buds Pro 1 with the 9PXL. The fit better then others I've tried. But when I've mowed with them before the sometime feel like there slowly falling out. Which is y I'm asking how much different the 2nd Gen is. Or are there better ones out there. I need them to not fall out of my ears. And I need them really good noice cancellation. I would consider headphones. But I think the wrap around ears would def work best. Idk. Help Pls

Yeah, I've been very happy with the Buds Pro (1st gen), to the point that I haven't even considered getting new ones. The sound is good, battery lie is fine (I've heard complaints that the batteries in the buds themselves are subpar, but I just never leave earbuds in for more than a few hours anyway), the software is good, and the case does its job well. That said, I don't have a ton of experience with other wireless earbuds, so my frame of reference is pretty limited.
