"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."
"I concur. Especially airplane or HVAC noises. Chef's kiss."
"Opposite for me. I literally can't hear shit when playing music. Best ANC I've heard. ... It's impossible for them to be "terrible" because I hear nothing with them in when I did with all the others."

"This is where they really shine. ... Transparency mode is fantastic - it feels super natural, almost like you're not wearing earbuds at all. ... This feature is the most important to me in any earbuds and out of the many I've tried, these are hands down the best. ... Transparency would have made or broke these for me, and they deliver in spades. ... Best I've heard on any earbuds, and most over the ears, with the exception of the Airpods Max. Those sound like you're wearing nothing at all. This is the closest to that I've ever heard. ... No static here."
"The pass through mode works really, really well"
"My favorite feature is that you can toggle between anc, transparency, AND no anc or transparency. ... I have uses for all 3 modes and air pods pro doesn't satisfy that."

"keep in mind also I notoriously find trouble with earbuds fitting my ears due to a small ear canal, and these fit well."
"These things are TINY. ... Way smaller than the first gen, and they feel great in my ears. ... Haven't had any issues with them falling out, even during runs. ... I tried laying down with them on my side, and it's comfortable to do so. ... PBP2 have a locking wing. ... The pro2 fits much better! Much more comfortable and secure. ... Just a warning- because of their size they might FEEL like they're going to fall out, but they won't. The stabilizer does a great job. You can even give them the head shake test! ... No, they don't stick out of the ear like that. In fact, these are the lowest profile buds I own. One of the hallmark qualities of these is how small they are. ... Pbp2 stays in my ears much better because of the wingtip."
"Most comfortable IEM's I've used and I think it's because they are so small and light with a weird twist to lock insertion method. ... I've even fallen asleep with them in and I'm a side sleeper - No problems."

"The sound is definitely a step up from the original Pixel Buds Pro. ... It's clear and balanced, and the bass is surprisingly punchy for such small buds. ... The profile is flat and natural. ... Things sound how they're supposed to sound, like a mostly true studio quality. ... You can turn the bass up if you need more. ... Hmm, they don't seem quiet to me at all. They seem quite loud, actually. ... I find the clarity to be the best of all the buds I've tried, on par with my new Pi8s. ... The soundstage is pretty big too, especially for such small buds. ... They sound cleaner. More true. Not as punchy, but I'm a fan of that. And you can always amp up the bass in the EQ settings."
"the sound quality is shockingly good for such tiny little things."
"Amazing neutral sound."

"the mics are trash! ... No one hears me well, wind kills my voice, it hears what is around me than myself."
"horrible call quality in noisy environment"
"If the phone isn't in my hand relatively near me at all times the voice hardly picks up and the background noise overpowers the recording."

"they have connectivity issues"
"I've had some minor audio "lags" here and there, while it's simultaneously connected to my pixel 6 and steam deck."

"I'm now on my 3rd pair of PBP2 under warranty (probably have at least another) since they have the fatal mic failure flaw that will always appear a few months in. ... There should be a Class Action on this BS. ... Most seem to have mic failures for RMA's. ... I REALLY hope I'm on my last exchange but I just don't have a lot of hope. I really feel all of these have this issue eventually and a lot of people just aren't sensitive to it. ... Unless your ears produce no oil, no wax, no sweat, I can't see it never happening. ... The first pair lasted 3 months. For the second I kept the buds and my own ears as clean as I could. This made them last 7 months before the issue. ... For this pair I'm just going to use them as the first but keep them clean but not overboard like last time. It's not worth it to me if they will fail anyway..."

"Oh, I go to the gym a lot and these are a horrible choice. ... They become distorted and I hear crackling sounds during exercising and movements. ... Nothing crazy, no jumping or HIIT exercises."
"snap crackle pop sound when exercising with a helmet or headband on that was not fixed with a different ear tip and does not happen on Pro1. ... Something about even light pressure of fabric on the bud makes this happen."
"one of them tried to deafen me"

"The white noise in transparency is quite high. It's a consequence of using microphones but Bose is not good with mic quality so I suspect it's because of the low quality mics. It was so high it was bothersome to me. I returned them."
"poor ANC/transparency/call quality"
I've seen mixed reviews for the pro 2. Some love the wing and it helps it fit but others say it digs into their ears. I have small ears though which is why they stay in my ears better than other people experiences
r/samsunggalaxy • Earphone recommendations ->I use my pixel buds pros!! Mint earbuds with decent battery and anc/transparency, but the sound quality is great. No connectivity issues either, pair to my phone and deck at the same time so I don't have to faf with that
r/SteamDeck • What Earbuds do you use ->Pro 2 fits a lot better - I have both and I stopped using 1st Gen pro.
r/pixelbuds • Pixel buds pro or pro 2 ->Go with the 2s. They're smaller, much more secure, it's not a close comparison. Good luck!
r/pixelbuds • Pixel buds pro or pro 2 ->This^ I just went down this rabbit hole and everyone's opinions online varied wildly from my own in person experiences. I ended up keeping Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (pixel phone). I tried Pixel Buds Pro 2, JBL Tour Pro 3, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and Nothing Pro (2024).
r/Earbuds • Best wireless earbuds? ->Pixel Buds Pro 2. I'm happy with them, but I wouldn't have gotten them at full price. There are definitely better models available for the money
r/GooglePixel • What wireless earbuds are you using with your pixel ? ->I used to love my pixel buds, bud they randomly decided to do this thing where they connect to things while in the case, so they constantly discharge themselves and are therefore unusable. Still sad about it tbh
r/SteamDeck • What headphones you pair your Steam Deck with? ->I use Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the gym for the noise cancelling and use Jabra Elite Active 8 for running because they come lose
r/pixel_phones • Favorite earbuds or headphones for Pixel users? ->I have the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the original Pixel Buds Pro, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Max, and Sony WF1000XM4s. The best phone call device I have though is the Ray Ban Metas. They are incredible.
r/GooglePixel • What earbuds should I use for phone calls? ->I have the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the original Pixel Buds Pro, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Max, and Sony WF1000XM4s. The best phone call device I have though is the Ray Ban Metas. They are incredible.
r/GooglePixel • What earbuds should I use for phone calls? ->Buds Pro 2 have battery and quality issues. Many people have noted issues. Check cmf subreddit snd fourms
r/Skullcandy • Bluetooth Earbud Recommendations ->My pro 1, after 2 years of teams calls and music daily use, had seriously lost much of the battery life (can't stand 2 hours teams call... Not that my brain can do much better but... So far I have to) So I decided to do the upgrade and go for Technics AZ100, sound was disappointing and voice isolation horrible and robotic, People started joking me if I was simulating my voice with a neural model. So I returned and went for pro 2. Sound is not that bad as they say, it's just "different" after some week I can say that it's a more "educated" sound, you need to give some time to your ears to digest it, but in the end I can say that PBP 2 sounds a little better than PBP 1. Sound is richer and more detailed and bass is more gentle and again detailed, especially in vynil ripped music, I can better feel the punchy sounds without all that bass that was pumped out the 1s. If you want more bass you can play with the equalizer and get the same sound of the 1s
