"I concur. Especially airplane or HVAC noises. Chef's kiss."

"They are amazing. ... it was pretty mind blowing how quiet they make the world."

"The ANC is great for when I'm on a treadmill ... Gotta have something to drown out the awful pop music being piped in over the speakers."

"great transparent mode that doesn't feel artificial"

"the overall stability, reliability, precise touch controls, in-ear detection, UI experience, everything is great for buds 2 pro & much better than the ne2024."

"Google wins hands down. ... I like the subtle tones Google uses for connections, mode switching etc. ... PBP2 has better features. Wireless charging, conversation detection etc. ... I LOVE how simple the PBP2's are and work. ... Google has it down perfect."

"keep in mind also I notoriously find trouble with earbuds fitting my ears due to a small ear canal, and these fit well."

"The first buds I own which fit and do not fall out."

"Most comfortable IEM's I've used and I think it's because they are so small and light with a weird twist to lock insertion method. ... I've even fallen asleep with them in and I'm a side sleeper - No problems."

"great transparent mode that doesn't feel artificial"

"I really like the transparent mode. ... Used it for the week I was in Tokyo so I could hear background noise like the train announcements, traffic but still hear Google Maps give directions."

"The transparency mode is amazing, like I'm not even wearing them. ... it's fantastic in day to day use, though"

"Amazing neutral sound."

"audio is still fantastic"

"the aspect I appreciate most of my pixel buds pro is clear audio matched with ease of hearing ambient sound (with noise cancelling off)."

"they have connectivity issues"

"I've had some minor audio "lags" here and there, while it's simultaneously connected to my pixel 6 and steam deck."

"snap crackle pop sound when exercising with a helmet or headband on that was not fixed with a different ear tip and does not happen on Pro1. ... Something about even light pressure of fabric on the bud makes this happen."

"one of them tried to deafen me"

"Worse, the sound keeps modulating — like it’s constantly adjusting volume or EQ with every step or head turn. ... This was my experience, only it was also anytime I was chewing food as well. ... Basically unless I was perfectly stationary, the sound modification/compensation would go crazy."

"The right bud is hissing every now and then"

"The white noise in transparency is quite high. It's a consequence of using microphones but Bose is not good with mic quality so I suspect it's because of the low quality mics. It was so high it was bothersome to me. I returned them."

"poor ANC/transparency/call quality"

"I'm now on my 3rd pair of PBP2 under warranty (probably have at least another) since they have the fatal mic failure flaw that will always appear a few months in. ... There should be a Class Action on this BS. ... Most seem to have mic failures for RMA's. ... I REALLY hope I'm on my last exchange but I just don't have a lot of hope. I really feel all of these have this issue eventually and a lot of people just aren't sensitive to it. ... Unless your ears produce no oil, no wax, no sweat, I can't see it never happening. ... The first pair lasted 3 months. For the second I kept the buds and my own ears as clean as I could. This made them last 7 months before the issue. ... For this pair I'm just going to use them as the first but keep them clean but not overboard like last time. It's not worth it to me if they will fail anyway..."

"The right bud is hissing every now and then"

"They have a fatal flaw in design and the inner mic always fails with use/ time."

I've seen mixed reviews for the pro 2. Some love the wing and it helps it fit but others say it digs into their ears. I have small ears though which is why they stay in my ears better than other people experiences

I use my pixel buds pros!! Mint earbuds with decent battery and anc/transparency, but the sound quality is great. No connectivity issues either, pair to my phone and deck at the same time so I don't have to faf with that

Go with the 2s. They're smaller, much more secure, it's not a close comparison. Good luck!

This^ I just went down this rabbit hole and everyone's opinions online varied wildly from my own in person experiences. I ended up keeping Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (pixel phone). I tried Pixel Buds Pro 2, JBL Tour Pro 3, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and Nothing Pro (2024).

Pixel Buds Pro 2. I'm happy with them, but I wouldn't have gotten them at full price. There are definitely better models available for the money

I had the Pixel Buds Pro 2 before. Which in comparison are tiny. But except of the design I was pretty disappointed in them especially for the price. The anc always had very strong white noise even after replacing them which drove me crazy. Except of Transparency mode and build Qualiy the earfuns are a way better for me personally.

I used to love my pixel buds, bud they randomly decided to do this thing where they connect to things while in the case, so they constantly discharge themselves and are therefore unusable. Still sad about it tbh

I use Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the gym for the noise cancelling and use Jabra Elite Active 8 for running because they come lose

I have the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the original Pixel Buds Pro, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Max, and Sony WF1000XM4s. The best phone call device I have though is the Ray Ban Metas. They are incredible.
