With the Hifiman Svanar Wireless currently on sale for around $230, many people are wondering if these are a good purchase. I though my opinion could be useful. I am a professional sound engineer, not the reviewer and my aim when I am looking for the headphones is the neutral sound. I need them to play something that was intended by authors. If it's a bassy track it should play so. If not, it shouldnʼt add it. I can do it by myself. I own Hifiman Ananda Stealth, Devialet Gemini 2 which have very slight nonlinearities and could be easily tweaked to the neutral sounding. Both have great sound stage and are very detailed. Of course I have a studio with proper acoustic treatment. In other word I have something close to the reference sound for the comparison. When I first tried these Svanars, I was genuinely shocked by their sound signature. I though I was doing something wrong. Regardless of the mode or codec I used, the audio remained consistently unbalanced. The high-end is extremely pronounced, while the low-end feels weak. In the same time, the are very detailed and have great sound stage. In other word, you have to measure them and apply the EQ to make sounding OK. Auto EQ didn't help as well as other mesurements I found in internet. Also: the high fidelity mode can be used only at home because the passive noise isolation is almost absent. Hope this helps

For this price they are ok with EQ, but you'd better listen and try them. They are quite big. Wearing Devialets after them was a relief!

I tried mtw4 in a store and I find it just sounds like my mtw3 which is dull and muddy, I can't really say it's high-end. I ended up buying myself the heavily discounted hifiman Svanar Wireless, which sounds much better in almost every way.

I am mostly headphone user, I bought from Stax (007mk1 009), Sennheiser(hd800), audeze (lcd3f, LCD 5), abyss (Diana phi and tc), and many other brands like akg and Bayer dynamics... I own Mtw3 and was looking for an upgrade TWS for my short business trip last month, there's very little reason for me to "keep buying" TWS and test them, I don't need to... Hifiman Svanar Wireless has much deeper bass than mtw4 imho, I can't say for Gemini 2 as I have never tried them.

its details, sound stage are the best i have in tws, but it would not be a great tws if you listen to female pop singer, the sound is very strange. low, mid, male and instruct high are quite normal.

I bought the following on Amazon, tested all of them (audiophile obsession level), then returned all but kept one: HiFiman Svanar Wireless Audio technica AZ80 Denon Perl Pro Edifier Stax Spirit S10 Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro+ SoundPEATS Air5 My top 3 were Denon Perl Pro (please go for this one and you won't be disappointed), AZ80, & Svanar Wireless (this is one of the best sounding along with the AZ80 & Denon, but the Svanar has issues with dropping on Android phones, and the battery life is dogshit)

The Svanar sounded the best out of all of them (on High Fidelity setting) However, the battery life was shockingly bad. I use it on train journeys, and the battery would last around 2 hours even when I wasn't even listening to music and just had them on. Also, on Android if you use the LDAC option then you would get these stuttering issues happening constantly. I bought 3 of these Svanars because I thought it was a hardware fault, and all 3 of them had the same issue. I wanted so bad to be able to keep the Svanar but it was problem after problem. Denon Perl Pro sounds just as good if not better, but only after you use their app so it configures it for your ears. I recently got the Gemini Devialet 2, haven't had time to test it but for some reason I am still gravitating towards the Denon Perl Pro.

I have Hifiman Svanar. Good for daily use, although might be to big for some people. ANC is not very good but I usually use it at high enough volume that it drown nearby noise 😂

The $500 Svanar wireless is on sale in US for $250. Not sure about the price in Europe. Svanar Wireless is currently the true wireless earphone on the market whose sound comes closest to that of wired audiophile IEMs—almost in a class of its own.

As I said, I'm a novice in TWS so don't be surprised when I recommend wired option because I didn't know much about TWS. :D The only TWS I've recently used are: Earfree I5, Capsule 3 Pro+ and Svanar Wireless. I love the last 2, the first 1 wins the honorable mention in my book. Other than that, feel free to DM me.

I've had two Sony 5. First one lasted 7 months. Second one lasted about a month. Batteries. IMHO Hifiman Svaner. But you need LDAC. No LDAC, no consideration from me. IMHO and YMMV.

Check Hifiman Svanar TWS, unbeaten sound quality for now. There are some discounted prices and you cannot get more sound quality with any other TWS of the market. Personally I prefer one driver construction. If you like multiple drivers — check Aviot TE ZX1.
