I didnt have a good call quality experience with linkbuds S, I currently have huawei freebuds pro 3 and i really like it’s call quality especially in windy conditions
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->Ok, I just went through this myself. Question; How much background noise do you expect and how important is the call quality for you? The Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 block the most background noise on phonecalls wighout distorting your voice. They're probably the best earbuds for calls. I also opted for a call center style headset with a boom mic for more important calls, because my job is highly dependent on it. This makes my voice much more natural and louder. You may not have this requirement.
r/Earbuds • Ear buds/Headphones ->Absolutely in love with Huawei freebuds pro 3, I think they have just released the pro 4. To me the sound quality is amazing but the call quality is unmatched and it's so good. Highly recommend
r/Earbuds • Earbuds Recommendation Solely for Sound Quality ->Funny enough, the ear buds that have BY FAR the best sound from all devices I've ever tested, are missing. Huawei Freebuds Pro 2. The Freebuds Pro 3 are in the list, but they don't sound nearly as good.
r/Earbuds • Comparison of 34 wireless earbuds based on Rtings scores (link for spreadsheet included) ->The Pro 2 were made in cooperation with Devialet, and they have a very clean sound with a fantastic clear and punchy bass. The Pro 3 are too aggressive in the mid-high range frequencies, which made a couple of tracks unpleasant to listen to. It's hard to describe as a non-native speaker. With the Pro 2 you can listen to music for hours without any fatigue.
r/Earbuds • Comparison of 34 wireless earbuds based on Rtings scores (link for spreadsheet included) ->Huawei freebuds pro 3. Hands down
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for the other person when I am talking on the phone in a windy environment. ->https://youtu.be/d8z4mGaPpco?si=HF39D2rvfRfG9VrG
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for the other person when I am talking on the phone in a windy environment. ->Huawei freebuds pro 3 are currently the best to exist, followed closely by the beats studio buds plus.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds needed, primarily for business phone calls either in the office (using my cell phone in the office or using the earbuds for Zoom and Teams calls) or in the car. ->I've had Jabra Elite pro 7 because of the superb reviews about call quality and that was the worse experience every! So now i bought Huawei freebuds 3 pro and the call quality like the sound is insane.
r/Earbuds • I analyzed the 25 most recommended wireless earbuds on reddit ->If you could get the Huawei free buds pro 3 or 4 for cheap these are your best bet. Have been using them for calls and these bad boys cancel out all kinds of background noise.
r/Earbuds • What budget earbuds have the best mic ->I have spent 6 months finding this; best call quality is obejctively the "Huawei freebuds pro 3". Sirens, noise, motorbikes - they don't let ANYTHING through but your voice. Sound quality is fine if that matters (6.5/10). Battery is really great!! (9/10) Anc is good (8/10) Fit is great (8-9/10)
r/Earbuds • What are the Best Earbuds Now? ->I have the Freebuds Pro 3 and have found that they work well in noisy environments, fwiw.
r/Earbuds • Best for phone calls in windy environment? ->I have the AZ-100 coming soon...I am hoping they are the best as they have 10+ hours of runtime as well with ANC on. The Freebuds Pro 4 most likely have slightly better call quality but they also only have 4-5 hours of runtime, which is not very good. I had all the major earbuds in the past 3-4 years and by far the best call quality was (and still is as I haven't seen any comparison yet) the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3. I am sure the 4 is better...but I haven't seen (or heard, for that matter) a comparison. There is a great channel on Youtube called The Weekend Gear Guide who has a great test. [https://www.youtube.com/@weekendgearguide/videos](https://www.youtube.com/@weekendgearguide/videos) I am hoping he will do a comparison soon with the Freebuds Pro 4, Technics AZ-100 and the Freebuds Pro 3, which are his (and everyone else's for that matter) current champion.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds needed, primarily for business phone calls either in the office (using my cell phone in the office or using the earbuds for Zoom and Teams calls) or in the car. ->The Huawei free buds pro 3 have the best call quality no doubt. They are a bit pricey but it's completely worth it. They block out almost all the noise in loud environments in my testing. I tested them in cafe's, city streets, and sometimes construction sites. They do a phenomenal job with call ENC
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for phone calls ->Second this. AirPods still hold up for Apple users and then calls, Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 known as the best by many reviewers. Issue is China stuff is hard to get directly but sellers on Amazon and EBay can get it shipped. I got mine on EBay but that was early on but now more sellers around so Amazon got it now.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds have the best calling/microphone quality? ->Yes but unfortunately no one earbud set contains all of the good things. Best ANC = Bose QC Ultra Best sound = MTW4, Technics Az80/100, Pi8, Devialet Gemini 2 etc etc Best comfort = Bose QC Ultra or Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro imo Best mic and call quality = Galaxy Buds3 Pro imo. Some say Huawei pro 3 Best battery.. Most are 6hrs+ without anc and up to 6hrs with There are prob buds I've forgotten but I have tried a lot and my faves up to no have been the MTW4's. Not the best at everything but the best all round imo.
r/Earbuds • WHAT ARE THE BEST EARBUDS? ->> Hello. Just curious if the buds work with other noises besides wind. Yes, these earbuds are almost supernatural at figuring out the difference between noise and signal, and the noise-reduction is great. > I'm usually iny car and the kids are loud.. will these block their noise? Separate topic, but if "in the car" means driving, I think it's both illegal and unsafe to drive with earbuds in, especially if you are using them to block out "background" noise. It's important to be able to hear as well as see, when operating a couple tons of metal moving at extremely destructive speeds.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for the other person when I am talking on the phone in a windy environment. ->Thanks for posting this! For anyone else following, here is the direct link to the comparison of various earbuds in a windy environment: https://youtu.be/d8z4mGaPpco?t=377 And here is the direct link to the earlier comparison in wind, which includes the airpod pro 2, which I think a lot of people will be interested in: https://youtu.be/m7BuTMtWxd8?t=405 TBH, I am hearing intelligibility problems in all of the examples, specifically with the wind-noise test. The Huawei seems to hold up very well in terms of sounding true to this particular speaker's voice, but I'm not sure it's the "hands-down" winner in terms of overall speech intelligibility, in a windy environment. They all seem to round off consonants and either have echoey or muffled artifacts, and the narrator seems to have a somewhat distinctive voice that I think the Sony Linkbuds 3 seem to make the easiest to understand, if not the most natural-sounding. But this is a super-helpful comparison, and the first I have found that specifically compares loud windy environments. Thanks again!
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for the other person when I am talking on the phone in a windy environment. ->Edifier pro 2! Under $150 Huawei freebuds pro 3! Over $150 I am not sure but I don't think it's a coincidence. That Huawei & Edifier only but a few tws models that have 4 mics or 8 total p. Premium / budget use 2/3 mic. the stem design or lack of one. Obviously makes a big difference to the overall call quality. Sony link buds S & 1more Evo are exception. Say this because if anyone tried to use the Sony WF - XM5 for calls outside your office🤮Senn M3/M4 even worse then the Sony. Recently Samsung announced the Galaxy PRO 3 w/ major design change. They are going to a stem like 🍎. If you have ever tried use the GBPRO 2 in dynamic environments whether windy or loud. These buds are some worst on call mic period. I am an android Galaxy Ultra eco system guy. Samsung realized that 🍎 had it right. Call mic quality is important today. If u are hesitant to answering or make calls on your earbuds. They really are not convenient anymore for most now. That is why Samsung is changing there design in my opinion
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which Wireless Earbuds Have The Best Microphone/Call Quality? ->USA here. I use wired IEMs and headphones most of the time, so for wireless buds I just want comfort, call quality, battery life, and good enough ANC...for a "cheap" price. I'm not an afficionado on wireless earbuds, but myself & my ex owned and used the following for several months to years: Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro (mine), Pixel Buds Pro (her), Pixel Buds A-Series (her), Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (her), and Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 (mine). All of these are well below $300 in the states, and should be worse than what you've listed. Long story short, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 (imported) have been amazing for a few months now. I was looking at various Galaxy buds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, or the Jabra Elite 8 or 10 (Gen 2). Watched a ton of YouTube videos and found a channel that does a lot of mic quality comparisons (Weekend Gear Guide). Huawei mic performed the best to my ears. Fit out of the box is muuuch better than my L3P's. I added Comply foam tips (my usual preference) and they've been perfect without negatively impacting the charging Case. Multi-point pairing has worked great for me (Galaxy S23, Pixel Watch 3, Windows desktop, and Steamdeck). I have not noticed any lag or latency when gaming, though I only play offline single-player games. I work 11-hour overnight shifts and use them on low volume, ANC turned off, for background ambiance. I easily get the quoted 6-8 hours of battery life outside the case. Huawei isn't sold here, and I don't even think they're considered top tier, but I feel the FreeBuds Pro 3 are a great all around value and highly recommend them.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best earbuds for $300? ->Huawei freebuds pro 3.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Thanks for the recommendation I am now the owner of a pair of freebuds pro 3 And wow I am stunned given the price
r/Earbuds • What budget earbuds have the best mic ->I have huawei free buds 3 pro. And i uave to say. These are the best earbuds ever.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds in 2024? ->this is so helpful. been searching for best earbuds for calls and this made me decide. i just hit buy now
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for the other person when I am talking on the phone in a windy environment. ->I don't see anyone mentioning the criminally underrated Huawei Freebuds Pro 3. I also have the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and the Sony WH XM3 and the Huawei is just on another level. So I gave the other 2 to my family members. Besides incredible bass it also has the best clarity, awesome codec support and the ANC is literally on par with the best from Sony and Bose.
r/Earbuds • Any recommendations? For more powerful bass & quality audio earbuds ->Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 music = 8? Oh no... This sound picture isn't for everyone. - Firstly, the bass lacks volume, mid bass is strictly reduced. - Secondly, highs are very sharp and can cause sibilance in female vocal. - At third, volume level isn't top notch. - At fourth, the soundstage is flat and sound picture are a little bit boring. - At fifth, there is no ability to activate LDAC in PC. Because you need to activate it through the app on every device you are listening for, and there is no app for Windows or MacOS. I guess it's something like 7/10, not more.
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds Recommendations to buy right now? ->I tried to find right EQ for me for almost half and a year and still not satisfied. Yes, the sound is good, but there is some points like soundstage, bass and sibilance which you can't adjust with EQ fully. Yes, you can reduce those effects, but with loose of overall sound brightness and etc. And there are some strange things from Huawei like impossibility to use LDAC with PC. That's why I can't rate sound in this buds by 8 pts. 7 pts is still high ranking, but not top notch. Example: I used my Sony WF-1000XM3, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (which are much better for me in case of sound) without any equalizer, in this Huawei I had to try change something and unable to find something good.
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds Recommendations to buy right now? ->Any updates? Thinking to get it. I have a Pixel 9 and the Watch... But I'm happy with the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3
r/Earbuds • The best noise cancelling earbuds Right Now? Recommendations? ->Nobody asked for? It gets asked for at least twice a week :D Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. Best bar none.
r/Earbuds • The recommendation nobody asked for: best buds for outdoor calls ->This gets asked probably 3-4 times per week - easy to find answers in the search. If you're using Android, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are the better options due to using a mixture of bone conduction mics for voice and MEMS mics for noise reduction. Unfortunately this incurs cost over using just MEMS mics, which is why every other cheaper set is simply balancing environmental noise reduction with not muffling your voice to the point you're incoherent, and thus falling short of those aforementioned models. If you're using iOS, then go for Airpods (admittedly I've only tested the Airpod 4 ANC). IOS features noise reduction processing on the device itself that makes them outstanding when used with an Apple phone, and completely ordinary on Android.
r/Earbuds • Only care about calls, what earbuds to get? ->This gets asked on a twice-weekly basis. Go for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. If your budget is a bit tighter, some good choices [here](https://youtu.be/nA8SzBswW5w) - unlike the other video linked, this one has multiple real life locations where you can compare performance both in busy indoor and outdoor locations
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to minimize background noise when in call ->FWIW I just got the Huawei freebuds pro 3 and in the day of use the people OI speak to regularly have been really impressed saying my voice is loud and clear and no background annoyances for them. I wore them whilst driving and they didn't know I was in a car, went round the supermarket, they didn't realise and took all the rubbish out (something that normally bothers my gf but she didn't hear any of the usual bashing and crashing). Comfort-wise, seem pretty fine for now but I don't use them for really long stints, no more than an hour.
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds for comfort + call quality? ->Jabra's pretty good, esp their top end buds which were on deep discount last I check but do beware that they're discontinuing their consumer line, on buds atleast. If I calls are my prime raison d'etre, I'd get the Huawei Freebuds 3 pro. Best mics on the market IMO
r/Earbuds • Best meeting earbuds? ->If you want to prioritize voice isolation for calls, the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 (and 3 which are known to be pretty close to the 4s in voice isolation) are class leading, period. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2Tyw8TCq9U (I own several of the major flagships that would be competitive here, the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4, Apple Airpods Pro 2, AZ100, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, and EPOS Adept E1) And see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUgPW7MRfS8 These have stems, but the stem design tends to have better voice isolation because it can position the mic closer and towards your mouth.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for ANC and voice isolation? ->You'll want to check out these two channels that focus on voice quality and voice isolation (and not just ANC): * Weekend Gear Guide https://youtu.be/rUgPW7MRfS8?t=404 * Aaron X Loud and Wireless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uee8M8jEpV4 In short, if money is no object, (and I've tested several high end earbuds myself including the JBL Tour Pro 3, Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and 3, AZ100, ADAPT E1) I think the best earbuds with noise rejection (wind and otherwise) are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 or Pro 4.
r/Earbuds • Best for phone calls in windy environment? ->The freebuds pro 3 is still better at calls than the JBL tour pro 3 . I have the tour pro and it's still an excellent earbud but I still believe Huawei has it beat for calls . If u only care about calls then Huawei is king still ... Galaxy buds 3 pro is close and in some situations better, but when it's very very noisy the Huawei still wins .
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for calls? Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 vs JBL Live Beam 3 vs Nothing Ear 2024 ->Best right now .. The best all rounders in my opinion are the jabra elite 10 , technics az80 and Huawei freebuds pro 3 All offer excellent sound , good anc , good to great call quality and plenty of app options for further customisation. I'll also add an honourable mention to the jbl live beam 3 . These a really surprised me as they are good to great in pretty much every category. Speak to chat and whisper mode are very well implemented with the JBL and the anc controls are the best ive used in any earbud. They are the first JBL earbuds to often high Res wireless codec support but I think they are tuned well enough to not even need it .
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds Recommendations to buy right now? ->>Best Earbuds for Music and Calls I've reviewed most of the TWS Earbuds in your list and added some of the new models and some not listed (Denon and HUAWEI ) that are best in their respective class. Here's my subjective scoring for Music and Calls in a dynamic loud noise environment (feel free to listen to the links provided for Calls): Technics EAH-AZ80 Music: 8.5/10 [Calls: 7/10](https://youtu.be/gjlv-buNT14?t=302) Sony WF-1000XM5 Music: 8.5/10 [Calls: 4/10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8z4mGaPpco&t=269s) Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Music: 7/10 [Calls: 4/10](https://youtu.be/hx2EfAhO1dg?t=170) Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Music: 7.5/10 [Calls: 4/10](https://youtu.be/d8z4mGaPpco?t=351) Jabra Elite 10 Music: 8/10 [Calls: 7.5/10](https://youtu.be/N3p4eAM6KhY?t=344) Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) Music: 8/10 [Calls: 7/10](https://youtu.be/F6hzX8pYYuk?t=302) Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 Music: N/A Calls: N/A Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Music: 8/10 [Calls: 6/10](https://youtu.be/Xthq08rrXCI?t=294) Beats Fit Pro Music: N/A Calls: N/A HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 Music: 8/10 [**Calls: 10/10**](https://youtu.be/HSKp21z5XtU?t=365) Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Music: 8.5/10 [Calls: 6.5/10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjlv-buNT14&t=270s) Denon PerL Pro **Music: 9/10** [Calls: 7/10](https://youtu.be/8gRPinbf7EY?t=354) NOTHING ear 2024\* Music: 8.5/10 [Calls: 7.5/10](https://youtu.be/HSKp21z5XtU?t=336) \*Edit: Added 2024-06-21
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds Recommendations to buy right now? ->While Music Sound Quality is subjective and I'm definitely not an audiophile, the scores I listed above are not based on default setting. For example, the Denon PerL Pro with Default setting would be 6/10. After performing Masimo AAT Personalized tuning, it would go up to 8.5/10. Then after some other adjustments with Bass and ProEQ it would go to 9/10. Similarly, with HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3, the Default setting would be 7/10. Then after performing 10 Band EQ adjustment to my liking, at most it would be 8/10. Cheers!
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds Recommendations to buy right now? ->Its not the best for call quality. Idk who started the rumor, but I have them and the person on the other side usually here a muffled blur. Do not buy this thing if calls are your priority. Sound quality is awesome for the price though.
r/Earbuds • I analyzed the 25 most recommended wireless earbuds on reddit ->100% agree! Freebuds pro 3 is the best all round earbuds I have come across in a long time. The fit, sound and call quality are absolutely top notch! Of course you have to download an apk app which some people may not be fine with. But if that is not an issue for you, no doubt they're the best. (Bought freebuds pro 3 after 2 months of extensive research)
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Yes. And it's pretty good. Wouldn't say it's the best (Apple or Bose levels). But it's pretty decent.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->No, Freebuds 5i, 6i, 3 pro, 4 pro,
r/S23 • Best earbud for samsung Mobiles ->I don't know why no one suggested Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3/4 or FreeBuds Clip. If calls are the priority, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3/4 are the best choice.
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->I see it on the UK Amazon site and their own website. Where are you located? I also see it on US Amazon.
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->Huawei pro buds has volume swipe. They are great.
r/GooglePixel • Which buds are best to pair with my Pixel 8 pro? ->The touch controls are a bit finicky indeed. My old Freebuds Pro's were much easier: they can detect when you pinch the stem. I've been getting used to it though, I've had my Earfuns for a week or 2 now.
r/Earbuds • I am looking into buying earbuds, but don't know what to get. ->in my case airpods pro 2s are 100 euros more expensive and i think my freebuds pros can do 90% of what airpods pro 2 can do
r/AppleMusic • Good headphones for good quaility in apple music ->After trying Technics for two days, owning both nothing and Huawei freebuds, I say Huawei knocks it out of park when it comes to overall performance. My bias also from a place that I wanted really good call quality because I take a lot of calls when I'm on a call in central City, and they have been amazing. I take a call in a cafe full of people and crying kids and the other person can't hear a thing and music quality is not bad either. it's pretty good, and ANC is also much better than nothing here. although the fit is much better with nothing here, you don't even feel they are in your ears come on there that good
r/Earbuds • The most recommended wireless earbuds on Reddit (r/Earbuds vs others comparison) Jan 2025 ->Huawei freebuds line. No other alternative with ldac capability. Full customizable eq aswell. Best bang for your buck. Good Noise canceling aswell.
r/Earbuds • Best Earbuds under €50 ->
