Freebuds pro 5 are excellent and I would add them to this list. Amazing mics, very good ANC, and they sound good overall. The 5 are also smaller and lighter than the 4.
Video meetings (Zoom, Teams, Meet, etc.) desktop speakers (Kanto Ora4) and external mic ( Hyper X QuadCast 2 S). Calls: (mix of earbuds and over the ear) Freebuds Pro 5 --> amazing for call quality and 6 + hours battery life Jabra Evolve 2 85 and Razer Blackshark V3 Pro (these don't get as warm as the evolve 2 85)
Been happy with the Huawei freebud pro 5's since I asked Reddit a very similar question recently. I workout everyday and wanted something with pinch controls as touch can be a mess. These fit the bill, sound good, decent ANC and battery. Tried a bunch before and never found something as good at the price.
I lost my pixel buds 2 pro and after doing a bit of research I ended up purchasing the Huawei Freebuds Pro 5. On paper it looked amazing but I obviously don't have a Huawei phone but even then it looks really darn good out of the box.
Great sounding, can be hard to get in the US. Although I managed to get mine from Amazon until they got taken down. When earbuds are outlawed only outlaws will have earbuds. Would love to have a second pair.
I've tried some earbuds until now and I can say that the ones that sound the best are huawei free buds 5 pro, these sound even better than air pods pro 3,the anc is good, but I prefer Sony xf1000xm5(idk if it's cuz the foam tips)
I just got the new Freebuds Pro 5 on sale for $100. A lot of reviewers are comparing them to XM6 and AZ100. I can’t say I’ve used those buds, but the Freebuds easily outshine my AirPods Pro 2 and my Liberty 4 Pros. I keep hearing new details in songs, and emotion comes through with a lot more force than I’m used to.
I haven’t tried the Redmi 8 Pro, but I’ve seen some mediocre reviews that turned me away from those. Considering how cheap I’ve seen them recently, I was thinking I might buy a pair. I actually just got the Huawei Freebuds Pro 5 for $100 on sale in Thailand. I’m blown away by every aspect of these, save the battery (which is still quite good, just not outstanding). Sound quality and ANC are the best I’ve heard in TWS. If you’re able to stretch your budget a bit and maybe get lucky on a sale, I and others in this sub are really impressed with the FP5.
I just got the Freebuds Pro 5. They sound better and are more comfortable than my APP2s. I can sleep with them and not have any ear soreness in the morning.
I can sleep in my Freebuds Pro 5 and wake up with zero discomfort in my ears. Better than my APP2 or Liberty 4 Pro earbuds.
I just got the Pro 5 and I’m in love. They even sound great with AAC on my iPhone, and flat out amazing with LDAC on my Galaxy S22+. Full featured, great ANC, light and comfortable. The only thing I could ask for is longer battery life so I could sleep through the night with them, but they’re still good at 6-6.5 hours with ANC on.
I’m honestly tired of spending big money on TWS devices. The nature of their battery degradation and fast technological obsolescence means that you’re lucky to get more than 2-3 years out of them. I’m finding so much good in the mid tier models. I think the Liberty 4 Pro is excellent, and I’m amazed by my new Huawei Freebuds Pro 5 earbuds. If I wasn’t insatiably curious about different models they would be endgame for me (until of course they expired).
I feel like these are the closest buds I’ve seen to the quality and reliability of the AirPods Pro 2 that I also own. While technology has outpaced them, the APP2 were a very high quality set of buds and mine are still performing great nearly 3 years after purchase. They just don’t sound as good or as interesting as the new earbuds with LDAC and advanced EQs in their apps. I feel like the FP5 are a worthy successor to the APP2.
Yeah, I just got mine yesterday. Can’t stop listening to music with them. Everything sounds better, more detailed. I’ve been climbing out of the Apple ecosystem and wow. Their lack of hi res codec support is becoming more of a liability every day. Even sub $30 earbuds have LDAC these days, which sounds stunning on the Freebuds.
Yeah. I love it when I find something that makes me re-listen to my music collection because everything sounds new again. That’s what the FP5 are doing for me!
Take a look at the Huawei Freebuds Pro 5. Not sure where you live but in my market (Thailand) they dipped to $100 the other day, whereupon I was obliged to put them in my shopping cart and click Buy. They are fantastic. Search this sub and you’ll see a lot of enthusiasm for these buds.
Freebuds Pro 5. They’re far superior to my APP2, and most reviews I’ve seen say that they are better in sound quality than the APP3, and equal or nearly equal in ANC. For me they’re the most comfortable earbuds I’ve worn. Can easily sleep in them with no soreness the next day, though they do only last about 6 hours with ANC on.
