They're not overpriced, they're actually cheaper than the Isotunes Free Aware that I use. The passthrough audio feature is what drives the cost up. The Isotunes aware series starts at $150 for the ones connected with a lanyard. The Free Aware (closest comparison to these Milwaukee buds) are $200.

For the price of airpods, you can get isotunes.  The aware models are osha approved hearing protection and have pass-through

isotunes free. I've used the originals and 2.0. There great, batteries are good and mostly durable. And biggest thing is they come with proper foam ear protection tips, actually making them ear protection

Yes, they are actually NIOSH/OSHA certified. They stand behind their warranty, too. Highly recommended if you care about protecting your hearing.
