I believe ISOtunes makes these for Milwaukee & Festool. I had a pair that died, but it was my fault as I put them through the wash like an idiot. They make a good quality product, and I love them. Edit: I could be wrong about isotunes making them, but not 100% sure

Did you ever try the ISOtunes FREE Aware? I had a pair for 2-3 years that died, and I had to finish out mowing the lawn at home using another set of regular noise cancelation earbuds. I'm curious how these Milwaukees match up to the ISOtunes FREE Aware, since I want another set of bluetooth earplugs that can also switch in/out of allowing surrounding noise for conversations.

I've got the isotunes earbuds and they're okay. Not as good of sound suppression as I expected and the volume doesn't get high enough to counteract the lawn mower. In the wood shop they're good though.

They'll work great for that TBH I may have been overly critical in that first comment. I've used them quite a bit. I just get annoyed that my zero turn drowns out the music. Also the microphone in them is insanely good for what they are and idk why. I recorded a turning video and it almost sounded like I did a voiceover afterward. I got the "free aware" version, not sure if they've changed the lineup since then.

I was a little taken aback when I replayed the video I took because the lathe was running, tools, engaged with the work, and I could still clearly understand what I was saying. being behind the face shield probably helped some too.

I use ISOtunes pro and ISOtunes aware earbuds because they are the only ones I’ve found that I can have in/on my ears for more than 2 hours without my ears hurting. They do a great job with decibel reduction but the quality for music isn’t great. I don’t care about great music quality, I’m working and the music isn’t background noise not something I’m actively listening too. The batter life is good, their customer service is good, and I really like that the aware ones work to filter sounds so you can hear people talking. Everyone has their opinion and mine is that I’ll actually wear ISO tunes for hours which helps me not just start using a tool “just for a quick cut” without hearing protection.

For the price of airpods, you can get isotunes.  The aware models are osha approved hearing protection and have pass-through

Isotunes has ANSI-rated buds that can do that, and provide better protection. I used isotunes Aware at work for a while, and they were fantastic.

My Jabras are great - they’re expensive but I’ve had them for…18 months? Maybe two years?I can’t do over the ear because the cord rubs when I’m wearing glasses. I liked the isotunes buds but the batteries kept dying mid-afternoon and it drove me crazy. The 3M work tunes are great too but they make me sweaty haha

Isotunes free are decent, had a pair for three years and still going. Excellent noise reduction as ear defenders. Also good bluetooth function.
