I think you should've gotten the Jabra Elite 10 gen 1 or 2. They have a shallower fit with oval shaped tips so you wouldn't get ear fatigue. They have button controls so no accidental touches. And the battery lasts 8 hours w/o ANC.

Hey I know you like the jabras elite 10’s. I have a pair I’m looking to trade if you’re interested? I’d take almost anything too. I love the jabras but they just don’t work with my left ear. I’d even send them first and once you get them you could send whatever out. If you’re interested just message me. You’ve helped me a ton with earbuds so thought I’d offer, if not no worries! Just want someone to use them.

Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.

Checkout Jabra Elite 10. I have no issues with them. AZ80 are decent for calls, although a bit expensive if calls I'd ur main priority. Oneplus Buds 3 are supposed to be good for calls. Same with Nothing Ear. The best earbuds for calls are supposed to be the Huawei Freebuds 3.

The best earbuds for working out have silicone tips. The ones without Ala airpods and galaxy buds 3 are not great at all. I use Bose QC Ultra AND Galaxy Buds3 Pro for the gym. Both are comfy and pretty secure. The Bose are better for ANC. Jabra Elite 10 & Elite 8 actives are also very good. Sennheiser Momentum Sport are fairly new and have the added advantage of little wingtips. They also come with a heart rate sensor built in. All the above do have silicone tips though. So without silicone tips u could something like Shokz or Bose Open buds (forget the exact name). Neither will have ANC and wont block out the rubbish background music that most gyms tend to blast out.

Unfortunately there are NO "one size fits all" and there are NO "best wireless earbuds" at rhe moment. Sound, ANC, fit & comfort are very much dependant on how they fit you. Eartips FROM Azla, Spinfit and Comply also enhance the experience with better grip and comfort. I've had all the buds on your list. I see Sonys mentioned a lot in this thread. They are awful imo. Very small footprint makes them loose in my ears. Terrible hybrid foam tips which are too small and have no grip. It's ANC gives a bad thudding body noise when ur exercising or when there's a loud noise near u. Turn anc off and it's gone. Call quality very average and poor in noise environments. They also have battery issues which u can read with a quick Google. Technics AZ80 have very good sound quality and decent battery life but they didn't stay in properly for me. ANC is average at best. The customisation and app is one of the best out there. Jabra Elite 10 are solid. Esp when paired with Azla eartips. Good anc, good sound good call quality. Bose QC Ultra have good sound, best in class anc but they also have a thudding noise when anc is on, although not as bad as the Sonys. Call quality is average and bad in noise environments. App control and connection and stability are not great. Sennheiser MTW4 are what I stuck with. Good sound (esp when personalised and tweaked), good comfortable fit for me, good anc, good battery. Call quality is average. Good app and customisation.

By working out do you mean some weightlifting or more cardio stuff where you are actively moving around a lot? Or even Crossfit or something? Difference will be how much you need a pair that will need to really really stay put. My thing is more powerlifting, so its not a big deal for me I can wear pretty much any bud apart from on the bench and they wont move. So it expands choice a bit, but I do look for dust and water rating because weight lifting chalk. More movement I would say look at Jabra Elite

I think the "best" is going to depend on each persons use case. As for the ones you listed the XM5 never had the same problems, but the tips dont suit everyone so maybe on paper you could say they are the best bud, AZ80 as others have said must be a contender, one of the best sounding buds by far with ok ANC, but personally and seen a few cases of pressure headaches from them, so sadly not my "best" bud, Airpods same story as XM5, great at everything, best at nothing, on paper you can argue best all round with XM5. But I think if you take one person vs another, lets say me, I wear buds walking, some quiet parks so sound quality is nice, then some busy streets with lots of traffic noise so average ANC wont do and then a gym that sounds like a EDM club. Not to mention, I live in a very rainy area and powerlifting is my thing so weight lifitng chalk everywhere, especially my hands, need that IP rating to be dust and water! So Jabra elite 10 gen 2 or maybe these incoming AKG N5 (have them on order) will be my GOAT for 2024? Take a look at how you use them first, what you need most, then go from there. First call, your device, what codecs it uses and how you use it, is it in a pocket? etc. Then make a shortlist like you have, pros and cons them. Again using me as an example, Samsung S24 Ultra, LDAC or Samsungs SSC for hi res, or I go to a good sounding older codec bud like Jabras or Gemini 2. Do they have dust resistance? The Jabra do, is ANC good? Reported comfy and good for the gym for hours? YES, got my GOAT.

They are wickedly good. People who are saying they aren’t good must not have a good seal, because when the fitment is right the ANC is super good. Both rtings and soundguys has their ANC as one of the best on the market. In fact I passed out on my couch with them in my ears with just the ANC on and no sound playing.

The Gemini 2 sound fantastic, like seriously fantastic. They lack modern day codec support though, and that’s a real bummer. It depends on *why* you are getting buds. Also, at the price point, you’d expect them to be fully loaded w/ competing features. I returned them to Amazon because the purchase to me, felt too much for what I got. I had the Sennheisers, but unfortunately returned them due to two main reasons. 1) Connectivity when 2 devices are connected. They can get stuck when switching to another device and refuse to switch back. It’s a known problem and I experienced it. 2) Even if you turn the app settings off, it may automatically go into standby mode anyway. The issue with the M4 standby modes (issue on the buds and the over the ears), is that some devices will not send audio afterwards. This means they need to be reconnected. I experienced on two different devices. Other than that, man, the sound quality was also top tier. I wish the software was too. I seriously loved the sound. So what did I settle on? Jabra Elite10 Gen I tried: Both you listed, JBL Pro Tour 3, Sony XM5s, Bose Ultra Quiet, Pi7 (haven’t tried the 8s yet), and the Technics AZ80s. I have not tried the Denons. Why the Jabras? They just did everything right. - I’ve had zero connectivity drops, or issues switching between devices fluidly. - No issues like the Momentum’s when it came to audio being played back after taking them out for standby. - They were my favorite fitting, and the comfort is seriously ridiculous. - IP57 for dust and sweat protection (I run a lot) - Sound is still very good and clean with a nice neutral sound. As for ANC. I’d say the XM5s were the best and the AZ/Pi7 were on the bottom, but my main use case is wind and fans, so they all worked nearly equally as well.

I have them all! The xm5s are formidable on all spectrums (I use them without anc in the gym because the passive insulation is excellent!) The AirPods are very good but the sound is much worse. The Jabra are comfortable, good active isolation and much better sound over the AirPod Pro 2. The momentum is excellent in sound quality, the ANC is equivalent to the Jabra. The Bose are excellent in anc but their really low end. If I had to give you an ultimate choice, if you listen to a lot of music and quality and reduction are important to you, Sony is the best placed. They are part of my daily and my favorite pair for listening to music with the Denon Perl Pro.

Great question. I mostly listen to Prog Metal, Metal, and rock music. I tried the Bose quietcomfort ultra. While they sounded great, I had many issues with it. The worst one was a loud thumping noise while running because of the ANC and you can't turn the thing off. Before this I had the Samsung buds which were great but call quality wasn't good. I read many reviews, watched many YouTube videos and finally settled on the Jabra.

I tried Jabra 8, Jabra 10, Sennheiser Momentum 4, Pixel Buds Pro 2 Kept the Pixel Buds Pro 2 Best mix of fit, battery life, ANC Found the Jabra comfy .. ANV good on the 8 but audio quality noticeably dipped when it was on. ANC was bad on the 10 for me. Worse than the 8. Momentum 4 has good ANC. Probably around the same as Buds Pro 2, maybe even better. But they were a bit bulky and prolonged use hurt my ears. Also the case is big, like twice as thick as the others. Annoying to carry around. Buds Pro 2 comfiest, still sound good, ANC good, small case with tracking and speaker etc. Got them for £150 on eBay. Happy with that .. Momentum sound better, but not leagues better for my use.

I was on the same situation as you a few weeks ago. I had the XM5's returned because of the unreliable connection, they would disconnect from my phone if I was in a crowded area like the metro, which is 90% of the usage I needed them tl for. Eventually I decided that the sound quality was not that important to me in TW earbuds, and went with the pixel buds pro that were on sale at 150€. With EQ they sound decent enough, they are super comfortable and the ANC blocks out most of the Metro noise. Also, right now Jabra Elite 10 are on sale in Europe at 150€. But also Jabra decided to stop making consumer earbuds and focus on products for companies, so not sure about the long term support.

I am having an issues finding any true wireless earbuds that get loud enough for me. I've tried the jabra elite 10s, sony xm5s, and Samsung galaxy buds 2 pro. Out of the three the galaxy buds 2 pro get the loudest but still not loud enough for me. So I'd like recommendations on decent quality earbuds that get louder than any of the ones I have tried. And please don't suggest the votomy v22 I know about those but cannot find any to purchase so that does not help me any.

I think my Jabra Elite 10 are made for classical music. Their sound is very detailed - which is because they are a bit harsh in the treble. I keep hearing tiny details that I didn't notice before. On the other hand, they CAN be a little too harsh in the treble for poor recordings. The comfort is absolutely fantastic, but it is individual how well they fit in people's ears. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. They have replaced both my Sennheisers and my Sonys. There is almost no occlusion effect, which I really appreciate. I have been using mine for half a year and I love them very much.

I've personally had both of those models and now my daily driver is the elete 10s. If you're in loud environments all of em aren't the best because they don't really isolate your voice from the background noise. You can still be heard clearly, there's just more noise on their end. But overall I've been happiest with the 10s. Unless you call audio snobs all the time really any of these will let you call just fine for average volume environments.

I have the 75t and wore the battery down in 3 years ( i can't get through my workday with meetings). Wife is still using them and she loves them. Using elite 10 now and i was hoping to get another jabra in 3-4 years. At least sell or do partnership with someone in the space so that they know how to make a wireless earbud that is for personal and business use. Most wireless earbud mics suck with windows.

For me its the Jabra Elite 10: * pretty, most comfy and no plugged ear feeling * very neutral tuning with high resolution across the spectrum. Don't even need to equilize (which you could) * Great battery * very capable ANC, only really beaten by Bose imho * true dolby 3d sound * those physical buttons are SO much better than touch, swipe, pinch and just anything else. Like, want to adjust volume through your hat with gloves on riding your bike? no problem at all * you can get them far below 200 bucks (especially first gen, which are fine). Got mine for 119 on amazon

Having the same requirements as you 1. I started with Apple (everything including Beats). Poor for the gym. Pair with a computer poorly and also don't let go so you leave work and your phone wont connect to them because even tho the laptop is shut, they are still paired. 2. I switched to Jabra and I am a fan. The way they pair with two devices at once and switch intelligently is something I love. I am listening to an audiobook on my watch then join a Teams call on my laptop SEAMLESSLY. If you favour gym use over the office then Elite Active. If you favour music quality more then the Elite 10s but the 10s aren't as secure a fit for vigorous exercise. I have the 10s for work, music, books and they are super comfortable. I use the Active 8s for the gym and running. The Active 7s had a lot of occlusion so no good for running. The 8s it's so mild you only notice it when there is no audio playing. I also use the 10s like some people would use Loop earplugs, nothing playing at all. You can ear all day without any ear fatigue, soreness or ear-itch. AMA

The 10s would be fine for most gym users and runners and are the most comfortable. I do CrossFit and burpees or ski erg or similar cause them to fall out. The one thing Jabra is allegedly not as good at is ANC but I find them comparable to AirPods Pro. Unless you need the Gen 2 feature of streaming from the case (more useful than I thought but still not used very much) then Gen 1 is fine and there is Q1 25 firmware update planned that will bring them further in line with Gen 2.

They don't feel heavy, in fact they hardly feel at all, that's part of the appeal. If you look at r/Jabra then you will see a lot of feedback on the 10s. Some people feel the ANC is not enough but a regular on here and also a gym-rat uses the 10s with 3rd party tips. I wore them at the gym last week and they were fine. I am sure there are other 'more perfect' gym buds but I picked up on your office use. It's this duality that makes me really rate the 10s,

Earbuds • Recommendations for Workout/Office ->

Hi again. I ran 12k at the weekend and they didn't adjusting. That was the Elite 10s (gen 1). If I wear them for 'stationery exercise' I don't feel like I ever adjust them, I forget they are even in. I wear the Elites to work (music/audiobooks) and at work (Teams calls). They never irritate my ears. There is a caveat here: the triangle shape of the buds works for most people but 1 in 20 on here don't like it or can't find a good fit. The fit means that the bud rests in your ear rather than the tip securing it in the canal. There are 3rd party tips which some people buy because they say it provides a better seal and therefore better ANC and bass. I got my Gen 2 Elite 10 today and the firmware update definitely seems to make a difference to ANC. Sound is subjective. I am mostly a bass-head and listen to dubstep (not jump-up) and D'n'B/Jungle (not jump-up) and grime/drill. I'm a recent convert to metal scene and listen to hardcore/deathmetal. I think they are comparable or better than any of the AirPods I have owned. I've always rated Jabra for bass compared to Apple. I had the old 65t and they still work and the bass is wild but they made my ears itch so are relegated to the kitchen drawer where tech goes to retire. The Elite Actives (Gen 1) don't budge BUT they do suffer from occlusion (you can hear a thump in your ears when you run) so I use them for CrossFit but not running. Because they are traditional tips the seal is better and I think the bass sounds better because of that. Again, massively subjective and also you could add a subwoofer and I would still want more bass. I don't have other headphones to provide an objective comparison. I now have the Gen 2 but not used enough to make any other observations. Re: refund - likely not for the update but if you buy direct and don't get on with them you can return within 30 days (so I have been told). One feature missing compared to Apple - a decent FindMy option for buds and case. Service: I have twice had issues (over the years) and both times support has been good and in two cases I have had a) replacement sent for bud fail and b) replacement set for firmware fail. HTH

Sigh, just lost my old earbuds and was planning to get the elite active 8 gen 2 or the elite 10 gen 2. Now I’m dubious at best. I expect 3 year warranty for products I purchase (living in sweden), seems I’ll at most get 2 year decent support and updates will likely be sporadic at best. Maybe better to try finding another brand. I’ve tried some other ones, airpods sit really bad and are uncomfortable. Sony sit decently comfortable but get pushed out easily, when smiling, talking or moving, especially once you get warm/sweaty. Jabra sit really nicely and comfortably and don’t slip out. Therefore they’re worth far more to me and audio quality is better due to a nice fit. I’ll have to consider things carefully. These earbuds aren’t cheap, I can get into the premium earbud category for every brand for this money. Wish it was easier to test a lot of different brands.

This really stinks. It's by far my favorite brand for earbuds. I used to be a Bose fanboi, but Jabra convinced me otherwise. I've had 65t, 75t, Elite 7 and Elite 10. Wife has Elite 4 and Elite 7. I was very tempted to get the Elite 8 active simply for durability purposes. The ruggedness is not worth much without the confidence that they stand behind their statements. They say gradual wind-down, but that is hard to interpret. As it stands now, gradual wind-down could be to ship the already produced Gen 2s, and then cover the warranty claims according to regulation. With the generic statement they've made, and factoring in EU warranty laws, this interpretation is consistent with "support for multiple years" If there was some sort of roadmap I might be more convinced to get the Elite 8 gen 2. E.g. we guarantee sales for another X years, and fw-upgrades, warranty, repairs and replacement for an additional Y years after end of sales in X years.

No. They probly won’t move when you exercise but they have a very loose fit. They don’t sit in your ear the way 65ts did.

I have been using Jabra for about 4 years now. Started with the 75 and now have the 10 elite. They are expensive but high quality. Don't know if they are the best bang for buck but I know they guarantee quality.

The best (the most versatile) earphone I've tried is Jabra Elite 10, either gen 1 or 2, followed closely by Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Both of those are better than everything else I've tried, including Sennheiser MTW4, Technics AZ80, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and some other cheaper earbuds. If you value comfort and ANC more - go for Jabra / sound and transparency - Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

If you're looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, the Anker Soundcore Space A40 might surprise you with its performance. For a balanced option with strong sound and comfort, the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is a solid pick as well. You really can’t go wrong with any of these!

Personally I would not care about the codecs, they still sound better than Bose, Airpods and XM5. When it comes to ANC they are not that far behind, and they lack the white noise you get from the Bose.

Jabra is really good in a lot of ways but the poor codec support is a dealbreaker if you have Android. They sound like garbage with the older codecs. The ANC is also maybe 20% as good as the QC Ultra

I've tried all the brands before (though not your exact models). Bose is going to have the best ANC if money is no object. Apple didn't have as good a seal or as comfortable, Sony didn't have as good anc, and sennheiser does not do good anc (though their sound is immaculate). Evrything else you can forget if you're not on a budget. Reviews that say Jabra or soundcore are as good for a lot cheaper are disingenuous - yes they can be decent on a budget, but they don't compare in terms of anc. I've tried jabra, soundcore, earfun, you name them.

They are pretty damn far behind. I've commented it elsewhere but no brand holds a candle in terms of anc to bose and Sony (and maybe Apple) earbuds. Other brands are good on a budget, but comparing them to the likes of bose is incredibly misleading. I've tried them all after reading reviews that say that they're comparable - they're not Edit: I was wrong about the Jabra. I tried it out Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 based on the comment below, and ANC is comparable (though slightly worse). I would recommend the Jabra over the Bose because of Bose's shitty software.

Works fine for me in gym and while running. Don't have long hair or wear a hoodie though. I am saddened by no multipoint/multi device connection. Must be for the next versions/model (coming soon?). I do find changing between devices awkward Vs other earbuds/brands. I've tried jabra elite 10s, Sony wx1000 and jabra fit.ok but still slid out. Sony's just wouldn't stay in and hurt. Bose for me has always been the best fit with their wing tip models. Still have the wired qc20s which are now my backup pair. ANC is still the best and, for me, the fit is still the best. Clearly though.... Everyone has different ears. Perhaps looking at after market eartips might help. I appreciate one really shouldn't have to after spending 2-300usd or more on a product but if you want a good fit then I'd suggest exploring that if the generic ones don't work.

I agree, I love the 7 & 8 but the Elite 10 are my favorite earbuds overall. But OP was looking for a $100 option and I think it's more likely he'll find a used Elite 8 Active Gen 1 in that price range than an Elite 10.

Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2, for me, is the best balance of comfort and ANC. They're the most comfortable earbuds, by far, for me. Their ANC is not Bose-level (nothing is), but it's still among the best. Some people report that the oval ear tips don't work well for their ear shape and this reduces the effectiveness of the ANC. I haven't had this problem: the ear tips are great for my ears. But I have read from others that swapping out the eartips for AZLA Sednaearfit Crystal ear tips seems to help a great deal. Alternatively, you could try the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2, which has a more traditional fit, and is still very comfortable and has good ANC and sound, just not quite as premium as the Elite 10.

Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 are my favorite daily drivers when I consider comfort, pocketability, ANC, controls, durability, style, battery life, etc. They sound great but there are other earbuds that have a more premium sound. Sennheiser MTW4 are great daily drivers with a more premium sound. OnePlus Buds *Pro* 3 are great daily drivers at a lower price. My favorite control scheme of any earbuds, and quite good sound and features for the price. I have been trying the EarFun Air Pro 4 for a few days now and while they'll never replace my more premium earbuds, I think they'd make excellent daily drivers for under $100. I got them for like $60 with coupon codes. In LDAC mode with a high res streaming service, they sound far better than a sub-$100 earbud should.

Overall I still prefer the Jabras, but OnePlus is a contender for new daily driver when Jabra is no more. The pinch controls and swipe volume controls are great. I don't have an LHDC device so I haven't heard the OnePlus at their best, but they sound very good even in AAC.

I suppose if you're of royal descent and it's essential to your bloodline that your earbud produce an heir, you may want to avoid the Jabra. Otherwise, they're great earbuds as they are and I don't think the lack of future Jabras has any causal effect on the present day Jabras, according to the scientific community's current model of spacetime. :)

After trying az80, xm5, jabra elite 10, momentum 4 true wireless, between 3anc, I settled on AZ80. It gives me the perfect balance with subjectivity best sound out of those, although between 3anc may edge in in some types of music. I don't think you can go wrong with most of those options. AZ80 felt most premium to with the brushed aluminium.

I haven't used 3 of those, but for what its worth I've been using the Elite 10's and I am not really blown away by the sound quality, though I take a lot of work calls and the dependability there is excellent. I compared these to the Beats Studio Buds which have noticeably cleaner sound and a more comfortable fit.
