Jabra Elite 4 Active. They're fairly inexpensive (less than $100), much cheaper than AirPods, and they hold well in your ear, even with the more dynamic movements. The sound quality and noise-cancel is decent, but not nearly as nice as my $500 headphones. But this is fine for a gym situation. Also have some bone conductor headphones for my long bike rides, but the sound quality is never going to be as good as normal headsets.

For inner ear… I tested many. Had 4 Jaybird Vista 2 (broke every year). Now I have Jabra Active 4. Payed 60 buck is Amazon. Seriously, all I could ask for fit, connectivity!!!, features, battery, price…. I tend to loose or wash my headphone by accident… so I had many many many. These are the best for me at the moment

Jabra Elite Active 4. it's the only pair of earbuds that do not fall from my ears. I cannot even use others sitting that they pop out. But I took the gamble with them after seeing a few reviews and they where a god send for my first marathon.

Anker A3i are on the cheaper side and work perfectly. I accidentally lost them so my lovely partner is letting me borrow their Jabra Elite 4 Active and those are alright. Good but not as good. I don't like that the quietest setting still feels so loud but for noise cancelling they're good

Have Jabra elite 4 active. Really food build quality and audio quality for the price. Only thong I miss is the multi device pairing with instant source switching (Like I have on my over ear Sennheiser HD 450 se, but find them too bulky for prolonged use)

me too, sort of! the inside of my ears is small but my ears overall are probably average size. Across all the pairs of wired earphones I've come across with usually 3 size options of silicone tips, I've only found 2 pairs that had a size that was small enough for me. Held onto one of those little silicone tips for so long and used them with many pairs of earphones over the years. I think I've lost them now, but either way they don't fit on airpods which is what I mostly use now. I have Jabbra Elite Active 4s which are horribly uncomfortable - the body is so bulky and hard and sits in your ear and it causes so much pain. I much prefer the shape and weight of the airpods, but it still isn't perfect. airpod pros are a bit better I think, but pretty far out of my budget. Also, I have become quite conscious of sound quality. A lot of reviews these days don't talk about sound quality or compare the sound quality to any meaningful benchmark. Noise cancelling is a bonus feature but not a necessity for me. Anyways. I mostly just came here to rant about how uncomfortable earphones are. and how few options we actually have, despite this whole capitalism bs. they're all the same old bs and most of them don't even sound good. But there's no good way to research any of it since the lies and advertising are so entrenched

I have some Jabras that are great. Active elite 4, I think. I love that they still have physical buttons instead of touch controls, which become useless when you're sweaty or it's raining.

I hope they last longer than my MTW 3. I had 5 of those, all of which broke under 1 year. Eventually Sennheiser stopped replacing those and gave me a free upgrade 💀 won't be buying Sennheiser again. Too much stress, time and shipping money wasted. Sad, I was with the brand since the IE8 like15 years ago. Sound is great, ANC is great too but badly deal with wind at all which means they are useless outside - and kind of also in the summer because I can't even the ventilator. My main driver still stay Jabra Elite 4 Active, their ANC can deal with medium wind just fine. I also have the beyerdynamic Free BYRD. They are the most expensive and also the worst 😂 sound is okaish, ANC is absolute trash (wind or no wind), and when no sound is being played there is constant high pitch noise. There is also no option to turn on/off ANC and HearThrough independently by the touch input. Must use app to do that. Which means when there is any wind, they are unusable because I can only switch between ANC-ON and HearThrough. There is no ANC-OFF - absolute fail. They are my backup earbuds, when others are discharged, and I rarely use them. Across all Sennheiser has the best sound, but the mediocre ANC and atrocious quality control disqualifies them for me at that price range. All of the above earbuds have aptX though, which is why I chose them. Sadly Jabra won't be making anymore aptX products so right now I am out of options.

Been using Jabra Active Elite 4 for a year with glasses and they work great. Comfortable to wear and stays put. Personally I didn't like the hear through feature due to wind noise but I listen to it low enough that I can hear cars coming from behind. Great battery life.

The JLab items are good. I used the Fit 3 with BT wire by them. It is a nice item with solid slightly bassy sound and 3 EQ settings. Soundcore X10 is good too. The Jabra 4 item is good too that has had a bit of a price cut.

The hear through kind of sucks when running though. Lot of wind noise and I personally still feel isolated from the outside world in a way that isn’t quite safe. Love my Jabra elites for the gym though

The thump is with anything that sits in your ear canal. I love my Jabra elites for the gym because of good sound and noise cancelling but hate them for running. Gonna get some Shokz just for long runs because of it and also because even with hear through mode I feel cut off from my surroundings with ear buds

The best and most reliable earphones I have are the JLAB GO POP+. I've used them in extreme cold and heat, they've gone through the washer and dryer, and the charge lasts forever. They cost $25 and sound better than almost every more expensive pair I've owned. Runner up would be Jabra Elite Active series for me, but I've killed too many of them with sweat and they cost like 4x the price. To be fair, they always replace them under warranty, but it'd be cool if they didn't break instead. We need to stop pretending Shokz sound anything remotely adjacent to "good." They do not. They serve a purpose, and if that purpose serves you, great, but they do not sound objectively "good" in any sense of the concept as it relates to listening music in the real world. IOW, if you bought any other product to listen to while not running and it sounded like Shokz, you'd assume it was broken.

Jabra Elite active is what I use occasionally. They have "hear through mode" that allows me to hear outside noise while I am riding. I haven't had anyone mention background noise when talking on them. My issue with talking and riding is being out of breath and trying to talk at the same time 🤣

However when it is heavy raining, I am wearing a beany or gloves I reach for Jabra Elite Active as they have real buttons (and set of other features as well - before Bose were my favorite earbuds since 65t/75t/85t/4/...8).

I used to enjoy riding and listening to music through my Jabra Elite Active earbuds. Perfect earbuds for sports, great sound, active noise cancellation, waterproof, just perfect. Then one day I almost got killed because I failed to hear a truck behind me. Now I never ride with earbuds. I bought a small Jbl waterproof bluetooth speaker that I clip on my bike, and play music on it.

What about just best noise cancellation? Sound quality is good obviously but I find that ANC is probably my most important feature. I have a set of Jabras and One Plus 3. The Jabras seems to have better ANC. Can’t remember the exact Jabras I have but something something elite, they were like $130 a year and a half ago.

By working out do you mean some weightlifting or more cardio stuff where you are actively moving around a lot? Or even Crossfit or something? Difference will be how much you need a pair that will need to really really stay put. My thing is more powerlifting, so its not a big deal for me I can wear pretty much any bud apart from on the bench and they wont move. So it expands choice a bit, but I do look for dust and water rating because weight lifting chalk. More movement I would say look at Jabra Elite

100%, I've struggled with finding a balance for good music, ANC, and comfort. Air pods are the GOAT IMO. I've had probably 4 different pairs of JBLs that work great but don't last long. Either the dust gets to them or the case stops charging the buds even when clean. I'm currently using Jabra Elites that are honestly great, though I wish they stayed in my ears better when I'm in weird positions. Edit: adding that I do not care about industry standards, my job isn't OSHA involved and has no actual safety standards enforced.

Jabra is really good in a lot of ways but the poor codec support is a dealbreaker if you have Android. They sound like garbage with the older codecs. The ANC is also maybe 20% as good as the QC Ultra

I think I want these earphones. I've heard Isotunes suck, and some of the well recieved OSHA compliant earphones are stupid expensive so $220 ain't bad. I used to use Jabra Elites which I really liked, but using them while running a stump grinder made crazy loud and annoying feedback the whole time. I read that these headphones are very good with their ANC but I just wanna know if I can run a circular saw while using these and how well they will work for my residential contracting work? Thank you!

Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.
