[Jabra Elite 7 Actives](https://www.jabra.com/bluetooth-headsets/jabra-elite-7-active). I've had a few different Jabras and they've all been great. The ANC is incredible. Good quality sound. And great battery life. And they have muti-point connection. But just 2 devices. If there are 3 devices that are all paired with the buds, they get a bit confused!

I also had Elite 7 Active before, but one's earbud battery died in a year with something, and Jabra replaced them with "Elite 10"s for free even after Warranty period (1 year) has ended. Elite 7 Active didn't have good ANC to be honest, but they fitted my ears a bit better; overall, Elite 7 Actives are also very good.

I have had a few sets and so far so good, i had a set of elite 4 actives which i bought because of the waterproof rating, i wear them literally to go to the sauna where i sit for hours, then have a shower with them in then go into the plunge pool (all the way under) then back into the sauna. i do this daily for about an hour or 2 they lasted about 9 months of that which i thought was pretty impressive honestly, most other earbuds die pretty fast in those environments. they technically still work but they have started getting a little funky in the software department. I have a pair of elite 7 active which i use as sleep buds because theyre low profile and again, no issues, sometimes the process of updating is a little weird but like, it does it... eventually, By comparison i got a pair of XM4's and they had something wrong with the speaker that made it sound like there was a ringing whenever i moved my head, coughed etc. Sony gave me the run around on those even though its a well documented issue I have also just sent back a pair of Momentum TW3 because one earbud just like, died, wont charge any more, those also had a really dicky case where if the buds got just a little bit of ear crud on them they wouldnt charge - again a well known and documented issue, all you had to do was clean the buds and theyd work again but like, i shouldnt have to play roulette once every 2 - 3 weeks on whether my buds will work. Last pair ill comment on is Momentum TW2's, they were pretty good and i still use them but when i work out in them, sometimes one ear will like, lose power, not totally, its still playing but theres no bass, the volume is low, then randomly 2 - 3 mins later they go normal again then they die again and repeat... it was really weird. TLDR: Jabra have been good to me in the 3 pairs i have owned, by comparison every time i spend 400 - 500 on a pair of buds (AUD) they have been pretty fuckin trash..

So my elite 10 right earbud doesn't charge anymore (same happened with my elite 7 sport) and decided to go on a small shopping spree to find a replacement. Ordered the Sennheiser Momentum 4 , Sony 1000mx5 and the Beyerdynamic Amiron 300. I like a solid bass and comfort cause I wear them 4 to 6 hours a day. In terms of sound quality, the sennheiser wins followed by the Beyers. They both lack a deep bass though and their ANC was disappointing. The Sony has a great bass and awesome ANC, BUT mid and high tones are not as sexy in comparison. The fit of the Sony is also a point of concern... I've to order third party tips to get them to fit properly I think... All in all, I am still on the market... Does anyone have a recommendation? I dont want to spend more than €300.

I was searching similarly here were my considerations : Shokz- open ear bone conduction- however the cheaper ones are proprietary charger. Only the top end is USB C. Can consider if it doesn't bother you Edit: I searched their website and they having promotion now :) Anything from creative is affordable but for me they usually only last up to a year then something goes wrong. Great on a budget though for $100 I think you can get other better bands . I also used Outlier but spoilt easily I used Jabra Active 7 and 8, loved them cos they fit me well but now discontinued :( For all true wireless in-ear earbuds, I don't believe in suggesting any particular brand because all our ears are different. I would say swing by Stereo at Plaza Sing. They recommend and allow you to try different earbuds so you can find that perfect fit. Their pricing is acceptable, can compare with Shopee official brand stores. The salesperson straight up asked me what my budget was before anything. I bought my current earphones there quite satisfied

I just got a pair of Soundcore Sport X20 and battery life is not that great on ANC, but without ANC I get around 6-7 hours, a far cry from the declared 12, but still not bad. Though I don't find ANC on these particularly useful. The charging case lets you charge them around 3.5 times. But 5 minutes in the case actually does give you 2 hours of play time, something the manufacturer did not lie about. For the price of $65 I can recommend them, this is early impressions. Different form factor though and because of that the case is also large. Jabra was something else though. Their batteries may have degraded fast but otherwise you could tell that the quality was there. My Elite 7 Active degraded really fast into a complete battery failure right after the warranty period ended :(

My right earbud’s cover came off. The earbud works, but its morality is starting to become clear. How do I deal with this situation? Super glue? Anyone else dealt with this? On the same subject, I would like the communities opinion on a new pair of earbuds that I could upgrade to. Jabra has discontinued its earbuds (heartbreaking) and I want to know which brand/model is recommended for someone who absolutely loves these Jabra Elite 7 actives like myself. Few other things: -The elite 8 active gen 2 is not an option (can’t find them anywhere) -The elite 10 is not an option (I don’t like the fit) Please help me find a bass-heavy workout friendly and accessible bud that can take the torch for these Jabra Active elite 7s when their time eventually comes!!

I don’t have experience with the QC Ultras, but if you’re looking for an alternative, I’ve used Jabras Elite 7 Active. I don’t know how they managed to get them to stay put in your ears without any ear fangs or stability bands, but they won’t fall out if you get the right size of ear tips. I used to go basketball shooting with them and they never moved out of place. Only problem with these is comfort, I would get tired of wearing them after an hour because they go pretty deep inside of your ear canal. Probably they fixed that issue with the Elite 8 Actives Gen 2

I use Jabra elite active 7 in one ear. Just make sure "active-listening" or whatever their hear-through thing is disabled because that will always only blast wind noise into your ear. They're effectively water-proof and sweat-proof, they sound great, and the controls work just fine no matter how sweaty your hands get and they also work with gloves on.

I've had that on the Jabra Elite 7 Active's and Elite 8 Active Gen 2's *but* only when ANC is turned on and no audio is playing, which is a pretty rare occurrence. Who just sits there with no audio playing? They're not earplugs... Anytime any audio is played at any volume level, there's no way I hear that sound at all (which is a faint static sound for me)

I can vouch for this. Had Jabra Elite 7 and 10s and now use the FreeBuds Pro 4 for earbuds, mainly for calls. I also have the Bose Quiet comfort and Sony WH-1000XM5 over the ear headphones. Call quality with FreeBuds Pro 4 is by far the best and essentially the same as using my phone directly. Highly recommend these if call quality is your main concern.

TLDR get a Bose or Sony Earbuds. If you have the budget get custom fit earbuds. I can tell you what not to buy. Don’t buy Jabra. Had the Elite 75T and an android phone which was perfect but…… Changed to Elite 7 and iPhone+mac, it has been horrible since day 1. Random disconnections and poor performance when connected to more than one device. Sound quality is good, noise cancellation is poor. Have tried the now discontinued Sony-1000XM4 before buying Elite 7, sound quality was just a tad worse than the Elite 7 but noise cancellation was much much better. Choose the Elite 7 purely due to sound quality but regretted it. Had a pair of the Bose QuietComfort 15 headphone back in early 2010s. That one had fantastic noise cancellation too and good sound (I know Bose is abit controversial regarding sound quality) but the price back then $500-$600+ is exorbitant. Still have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5s, great sound, NC and battery life just like the old Bose QC15 but it’s wireless. But headphones are a bad choice for Singapore weather as you already know. I use it a lot when flying but the size of it does get to me. Connection wise with Apple it’s good, much better than the Jabras. I’ve always been curious about the brand Shure’s earbuds. Their SE215 sounds great and isolates a lot of noise. But the bulk of their earbuds are cabled and loop over the ear which take some getting used to or be a flat out dealbreaker for you. They have really high end stuff that musicians wear to hear themselves sing/band playing at a concert so you know they’re the real deal. You can look into custom made IEMs which will provide the best isolation if your budget allows. As always; trust your own ears. Always try it out yourself before you buy. There’s Jaben at The Adelphi (City Hall), Zeppelin & Co (Sim Lim/Rochor), Stereo (Plaza Singapura). ConnectIT at Somerset treated me well too but I would say the first three shops carry a bigger product range and are more professional and respected in the audio game. I’ve also gone to TC Acoustic at Adelphi before for my Klipsch ear and headphones but they have seem to gone a lot more focused into home theatre audio (big speakers) now so maybe give them a miss. Focus your decision making first on the sound isolation and/or active noise cancellation and sound quality second. There’s no point in having good sound if the isolation is poor and all the ambient noise in coming in (looking at you Jabra). Happy Shopping!

I had the Ip7 and as a truck driver they had about a 3hr battery life after 1 year they had some troubles connecting once in a while or one wouldn't turn on the driver. 2yrs in and the batter life was down to about 2 hrs on a full charge. Year 3 they died before we got there the left one stopped being loud and wouldn't match the volume of the right one just after the 2nd year mark. So longevity wise they were not the ticket. This all said I can't find head phones that would match the sound quality I got from them. The senheisser true wireless 1 and 2 were good but not better, Jabra elite 7 are ok but still not better? Beat studio buds plus I find to be very very underwhelming and would take the Jabra over them. Looking into the sonys or the bang and olfsen ones not sure what to do either. I use headphones for up to 12 hrs a day so I am hard on them and have killed multiple different ones.

I presently have Jabra Elite 7. IMHO, they are the most comfortable earbuds I've worn. Sound quality is great on music, but decent on calls. I'm thinking about getting the Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 as a replacement. Has all the same features of the 10 Gen 2, but better waterproofing and a few bucks less. I don't need the remote use from the case feature which the 10 Gen 2 has. Since Jabra is leaving the consumer electronics division, this is their last set. But they said that there will be continual updates. May be a disqualifier for some. I don't like Bose earbuds for some reason. I prefer their over the ear sets, which I have. The Sonys are very highly rated for their noise cancellation and other features. They were a bit uncomfortable on my ears. Never considered the Apple AirPods, because of the one color. If the buds had other colors like their AirPod Max, I could buy them. Just don't like the white tips sticking out of my ear. I know that Anker makes good cables and accessories, but some say that their buds are surprisingly good. Don't know how long they will last though, but a cheaper option for some. Never had Sennheiser earbuds, so I can't comment. Never knew that Technics made earbuds. I thought they limited themselves to higher end stuff.

I’ll admit that I bought into the hype since I know that there were likely a lot of paid advertisers pushing the AZ100s but I’m not disappointed. I was previously using the Jabra elite 7s that I owned for 2 years. If you’re looking for a cheaper option for the gym these have great bass and sound quality with okay ANC. I switched because I just wanted something new and the call quality was dogshit. If you wanna splurge a little though, the AZ100s blows everything I’ve used in the past out the water, from sound quality, bass, ANC, and call quality. I highly recommend.

I sweat profusely and killed every set of “water resistant” earbuds I got until my wife (then girlfriend) purchased me a set of jabra active 2. They have worked for nearly 3 years now with no issues or discomfort.

The best and most reliable earphones I have are the JLAB GO POP+. I've used them in extreme cold and heat, they've gone through the washer and dryer, and the charge lasts forever. They cost $25 and sound better than almost every more expensive pair I've owned. Runner up would be Jabra Elite Active series for me, but I've killed too many of them with sweat and they cost like 4x the price. To be fair, they always replace them under warranty, but it'd be cool if they didn't break instead. We need to stop pretending Shokz sound anything remotely adjacent to "good." They do not. They serve a purpose, and if that purpose serves you, great, but they do not sound objectively "good" in any sense of the concept as it relates to listening music in the real world. IOW, if you bought any other product to listen to while not running and it sounded like Shokz, you'd assume it was broken.

I love my Jabra elite actives. Also if you like music with heavy bass these absolutely rip. Also they’ve never fallen out of my ears while being active - they actually turn off when they’re almost accidentally wiggled loose after a long intense training sesh. Highly recommend these!

Jabra Elite Actives are just all round #1 by multiple running reviewers and I have had 3 versions of them over last few years...great sound...ANC...8 hours battery in use on the latest version...sweat resistant hold via the type of rubber on the buds. Water/sweat proof. Problem is they are discontinueing the line :(

I struggle with the same. I have tried ear plugs under ANC headphones, but even the most blocking plugs (35 dB is the highest I have found here), and an expensive headphone, do not block all sound (not even my coworkers laughing and discussing). My best solution so far has been ANC earbuds under ANC headphones.. So double ANC.. I have Jabra Active Elite earbuds, and Sony quite-expensive-something headset. Even this do not give complete silence in the open office plan, but it's quite close to it. In-ear ANC plugs do a lot more for me than ANC over-the-ear headphones. The headphones alone hardly helps at all..

Jabra Elite active is what I use occasionally. They have "hear through mode" that allows me to hear outside noise while I am riding. I haven't had anyone mention background noise when talking on them. My issue with talking and riding is being out of breath and trying to talk at the same time 🤣

I’ve been using some jabra elite noise canceling earbuds when I ride for the last few years. They sound great and block a lot of wind noise. I lost one today. Now I’m not sure what to do. I can buy a replacement bud, a new set of earbuds, or switch to a helmet speaker and wear ear plugs. Looking for input from people who’ve used both earbuds and a speaker/plugs combo.

What about just best noise cancellation? Sound quality is good obviously but I find that ANC is probably my most important feature. I have a set of Jabras and One Plus 3. The Jabras seems to have better ANC. Can’t remember the exact Jabras I have but something something elite, they were like $130 a year and a half ago.

By working out do you mean some weightlifting or more cardio stuff where you are actively moving around a lot? Or even Crossfit or something? Difference will be how much you need a pair that will need to really really stay put. My thing is more powerlifting, so its not a big deal for me I can wear pretty much any bud apart from on the bench and they wont move. So it expands choice a bit, but I do look for dust and water rating because weight lifting chalk. More movement I would say look at Jabra Elite

100%, I've struggled with finding a balance for good music, ANC, and comfort. Air pods are the GOAT IMO. I've had probably 4 different pairs of JBLs that work great but don't last long. Either the dust gets to them or the case stops charging the buds even when clean. I'm currently using Jabra Elites that are honestly great, though I wish they stayed in my ears better when I'm in weird positions. Edit: adding that I do not care about industry standards, my job isn't OSHA involved and has no actual safety standards enforced.

Honestly, given how often I lose earbuds and the battery issues, I stopped buying earbuds for longevity. I decide upon a price range and go with a company I recognise. My best pair has been a Jabra Elite. Unfortunately it seems they got rid of buttons. I hate how every company just releases update after update, with lessening improvements and higher prices.

Jabra is really good in a lot of ways but the poor codec support is a dealbreaker if you have Android. They sound like garbage with the older codecs. The ANC is also maybe 20% as good as the QC Ultra

I think I want these earphones. I've heard Isotunes suck, and some of the well recieved OSHA compliant earphones are stupid expensive so $220 ain't bad. I used to use Jabra Elites which I really liked, but using them while running a stump grinder made crazy loud and annoying feedback the whole time. I read that these headphones are very good with their ANC but I just wanna know if I can run a circular saw while using these and how well they will work for my residential contracting work? Thank you!

Agreed, you have to try several and pick a style that works for you. For me, the absolute best fit for my ears are the Samsung Buds Live, but they are the only ones that make that shape. The worst shape for me are the Jabra Elite / Sony WF-1000XM5 style that stick out way far from your ears. Never understood why they are designed to be so far outside your ear. Like you could never wear them with a bike or motorcycle helmet.

Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.
