I have 2 for you! I love them both for different reasons and uses: Jabra elite 7 pro (this is not the latest version but it is the one I have). These are in ear buds that have noise cancellation, hear through or neither options. They work well for phone calls too. They stay in my ears and are comfortable, have an 8+ hour battery life, I’m very happy with them. The second set I have are the shokz open run pro. These are bone conduction headphones that leave your ears uncovered, and allow you to hear for safely running outside. They also work well for phone calls too. The reason I recommend both of them is for indoor vs outdoor applications. The noise cancellation of the Jabra allow me to run and watch Netflix or listen to music/books in a gym regardless of background noise. The Shokz don’t offer that option but I love them for outside runs. Good luck! Looking forward to hearing what you pick.

I have used several elites over the years since 65t, then 75t, 85t and later elite 7 pro and am recently elite 10 gen 2. All had great sound and stayed in the ear except latest gen 2 for some reason. I lost a few, the rest stopped working after a year or due to some incidents like cases filled with water, dropped them in the washing machine, the dog destroyed them, and you get the gist. That being said, the older generations weren't perfect but were pretty durable and consistent. New generations boast to be everything you'll need but they seem to have more glitches than ever. My gen 2 stopped pausing audio when one bud is removed and keeps falling when I workout if I don't push them in after a while

I've not used Bose, but had trouble with Jabra's earbuds. I started with a pair of Jabra Active 85t, and replaced them twice and all the pairs have had some kind of issue. Currently using Jabra Elite 7 pro, they work but one earbud has an annoying crackling. I think wireless earbuds just don't last.

I have the Sony's and the Jabra's , While the Jabra's have the best fit I've ever had in a pair of earbuds ( the Jabra elite 8 active have the same fit and better sound). I found the call quality of the 7's massively below par, and my Sony's stopped making calls about a week after they ran out of warranty. I still use the Sony's for music though I find the touchpads are hugely oversensitive and my hair touching activates them. The other good thing about the Jabra's are the excellent touch/press controls. I'm finding the new Technic 100s to be a much more reliable all-rounder at the moment. Good sound, fit and great call quality.

I have a set of Jabra Elite 7 Pro buds, and I never go anywhere without them. They're isolation buds with hear-through and active noise cancelling (anc). I like that I can adjust the volume of the hear-through as well as the strength of the noise cancelling. I'll use them as ear plugs sometimes at concerts or just out and around BC they fit so well for my ears (ear plugs always fall out idk why). I've actually been sitting at a noisy cafe with them on max ANC with no music or anything for an hour or so and I didn't even realize it. It's nice to be able to adjust those features depending on what I need at the time. The hear-through is nice for a little situational awareness, but not so good for conversations. The newer versions have better microphones for that from what I've seen.

Jabra Elite 7 Pro which for me have been flawless for about 3 years but I'm not a heavy user... however Jabra are no longer producing any consumer earbuds now so I'd prob go for something different if I was buying again now. I did have the Pixel Buds Pro for a short while but I returned them as they came as a bundle with phone I also returned. They were really good though, fitment not as good as the Jabra. For me the fitment is the main reason for picking the buds I have.

> I’m not getting the elite 10s - I had the 85ts and they fell out too easy plus the anc wasn’t too useful.  The 10s are very comfortable. They are lighter (very light), fit better in the ear canal. The 85ts were extremely uncomfortable for me and I couldn't wear them. But I absolutely love the 10s. However, I don't recommend them because of the automatic ANC. This ANC is crap, you have to stay away from it. I use 10s at work in hearthrough mode - but you don't buy headphones with superb ANC to use this mode as rarely as possible. I use the 7pro everywhere except for work. And I hope they don't break. Maybe in the future I'll buy [https://pl.steelseries.com/arctisgamebuds](https://pl.steelseries.com/arctisgamebuds) if the 7pro breaks.

I can vouch for this. Had Jabra Elite 7 and 10s and now use the FreeBuds Pro 4 for earbuds, mainly for calls. I also have the Bose Quiet comfort and Sony WH-1000XM5 over the ear headphones. Call quality with FreeBuds Pro 4 is by far the best and essentially the same as using my phone directly. Highly recommend these if call quality is your main concern.

TLDR get a Bose or Sony Earbuds. If you have the budget get custom fit earbuds. I can tell you what not to buy. Don’t buy Jabra. Had the Elite 75T and an android phone which was perfect but…… Changed to Elite 7 and iPhone+mac, it has been horrible since day 1. Random disconnections and poor performance when connected to more than one device. Sound quality is good, noise cancellation is poor. Have tried the now discontinued Sony-1000XM4 before buying Elite 7, sound quality was just a tad worse than the Elite 7 but noise cancellation was much much better. Choose the Elite 7 purely due to sound quality but regretted it. Had a pair of the Bose QuietComfort 15 headphone back in early 2010s. That one had fantastic noise cancellation too and good sound (I know Bose is abit controversial regarding sound quality) but the price back then $500-$600+ is exorbitant. Still have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5s, great sound, NC and battery life just like the old Bose QC15 but it’s wireless. But headphones are a bad choice for Singapore weather as you already know. I use it a lot when flying but the size of it does get to me. Connection wise with Apple it’s good, much better than the Jabras. I’ve always been curious about the brand Shure’s earbuds. Their SE215 sounds great and isolates a lot of noise. But the bulk of their earbuds are cabled and loop over the ear which take some getting used to or be a flat out dealbreaker for you. They have really high end stuff that musicians wear to hear themselves sing/band playing at a concert so you know they’re the real deal. You can look into custom made IEMs which will provide the best isolation if your budget allows. As always; trust your own ears. Always try it out yourself before you buy. There’s Jaben at The Adelphi (City Hall), Zeppelin & Co (Sim Lim/Rochor), Stereo (Plaza Singapura). ConnectIT at Somerset treated me well too but I would say the first three shops carry a bigger product range and are more professional and respected in the audio game. I’ve also gone to TC Acoustic at Adelphi before for my Klipsch ear and headphones but they have seem to gone a lot more focused into home theatre audio (big speakers) now so maybe give them a miss. Focus your decision making first on the sound isolation and/or active noise cancellation and sound quality second. There’s no point in having good sound if the isolation is poor and all the ambient noise in coming in (looking at you Jabra). Happy Shopping!

I had the Ip7 and as a truck driver they had about a 3hr battery life after 1 year they had some troubles connecting once in a while or one wouldn't turn on the driver. 2yrs in and the batter life was down to about 2 hrs on a full charge. Year 3 they died before we got there the left one stopped being loud and wouldn't match the volume of the right one just after the 2nd year mark. So longevity wise they were not the ticket. This all said I can't find head phones that would match the sound quality I got from them. The senheisser true wireless 1 and 2 were good but not better, Jabra elite 7 are ok but still not better? Beat studio buds plus I find to be very very underwhelming and would take the Jabra over them. Looking into the sonys or the bang and olfsen ones not sure what to do either. I use headphones for up to 12 hrs a day so I am hard on them and have killed multiple different ones.

I presently have Jabra Elite 7. IMHO, they are the most comfortable earbuds I've worn. Sound quality is great on music, but decent on calls. I'm thinking about getting the Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 as a replacement. Has all the same features of the 10 Gen 2, but better waterproofing and a few bucks less. I don't need the remote use from the case feature which the 10 Gen 2 has. Since Jabra is leaving the consumer electronics division, this is their last set. But they said that there will be continual updates. May be a disqualifier for some. I don't like Bose earbuds for some reason. I prefer their over the ear sets, which I have. The Sonys are very highly rated for their noise cancellation and other features. They were a bit uncomfortable on my ears. Never considered the Apple AirPods, because of the one color. If the buds had other colors like their AirPod Max, I could buy them. Just don't like the white tips sticking out of my ear. I know that Anker makes good cables and accessories, but some say that their buds are surprisingly good. Don't know how long they will last though, but a cheaper option for some. Never had Sennheiser earbuds, so I can't comment. Never knew that Technics made earbuds. I thought they limited themselves to higher end stuff.

I’ll admit that I bought into the hype since I know that there were likely a lot of paid advertisers pushing the AZ100s but I’m not disappointed. I was previously using the Jabra elite 7s that I owned for 2 years. If you’re looking for a cheaper option for the gym these have great bass and sound quality with okay ANC. I switched because I just wanted something new and the call quality was dogshit. If you wanna splurge a little though, the AZ100s blows everything I’ve used in the past out the water, from sound quality, bass, ANC, and call quality. I highly recommend.

By working out do you mean some weightlifting or more cardio stuff where you are actively moving around a lot? Or even Crossfit or something? Difference will be how much you need a pair that will need to really really stay put. My thing is more powerlifting, so its not a big deal for me I can wear pretty much any bud apart from on the bench and they wont move. So it expands choice a bit, but I do look for dust and water rating because weight lifting chalk. More movement I would say look at Jabra Elite

100%, I've struggled with finding a balance for good music, ANC, and comfort. Air pods are the GOAT IMO. I've had probably 4 different pairs of JBLs that work great but don't last long. Either the dust gets to them or the case stops charging the buds even when clean. I'm currently using Jabra Elites that are honestly great, though I wish they stayed in my ears better when I'm in weird positions. Edit: adding that I do not care about industry standards, my job isn't OSHA involved and has no actual safety standards enforced.

Honestly, given how often I lose earbuds and the battery issues, I stopped buying earbuds for longevity. I decide upon a price range and go with a company I recognise. My best pair has been a Jabra Elite. Unfortunately it seems they got rid of buttons. I hate how every company just releases update after update, with lessening improvements and higher prices.

Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.

I saw Bone conductor headphones at Costco and I need a new pair they didn't have a display so i never bought them. I mostly use earbuds in the gym. I have Jabre elites right now but they are like 4 years old and the right speaker is almost out completely Not sure how I am supposed to buy newish tech without ever trying them before.

Agree with that I had to get my Elite replaced 3 times within warranty period and I always get complaints from people I call that the call is extremely noisy (usually doing house chores and stuff...) which led me to this post haha
