"As a night shift WFH, sobrang useful din pag matutulog na. Maingay kasi dito pag umaga haha. White noise/rain sounds + ANC = peaceful morning sleep."
"For me the ANC and fit was much better on the jabras. ... I just work in a noisy environment with my earbuds in basically all day and the jabras were perfect for me."
"the noise canceling and the volume more than adequate for my needs. ... run outdoors and work in a busy office"

"Their sound is incredible. ... I heard details and a rich tone in music I didn't know was there."
"I love the sound (I'm a musician)"
"the soundstage and clarity of all those is at least a step above the earfuns."

"Have run 3 half's and 2 fulls, never have ran out of battery provided they are properly charged beforehand."
"Used them on a 50k without having to recharge."
"I chose my headphones based on battery life. ... Once I had a marathon go wrong and my headphones died at 3.5 hours and I limped to a 5 hour walking finish. Damn, even a touch of music might have helped the struggle."

"They're pretty water resistant, I've (accidentally) sent them through the wash in my pants pocket and they still work just fine."
"I work outdoors, my earbuds get sweaty and dusty almost everyday. I loved the Jabra 8, they were the best earbuds by far that i have ever owned!"
"I have a horrible track record with electronics, and yet mine lasted years, and they didn't die, I just lost them"

"the wind noise is terrible."
"using them while running a stump grinder made crazy loud and annoying feedback the whole time."
"they didn't improve their NC for busy rooms and that was their biggest issue in my opinion."

"They are plagued by QA issues. My Elite 8's started to act up 3 months after I got them and the replacements less than a year after I got them."
"reliability was always pretty bad ... they wouldn't last more than 12-18 months at ost."
"I just bought the Elite 8 Active a month ago, and now there’s no sound in the right ear. ... Clean like new, but still no sound from the right ear. ... I’m planning to send it back to the distributor to apply for warranty and hope they can give me a proper replacement."

"the wind noise is terrible."
"Only issue like you mentioned in your post is when you’re cruising anywhere above like 20mph you’ll get the wind sound effect."
"wind noise is real though.."
Regarding new buds- if you can find the elite 8 gen 1s, they're fantastic. I settled for them after failing to find the gen 2s. To fix your bud, I would say a tiny bit of superglue to put the cover back on. You could also just force it back on and see how it stays without any adhesive, as it has a pretty tight fit
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->Technics az100 and I absolutely love them ☺️ And Jabra elite active 8 gen 1 for gym and sweaty stuff.
r/Earbuds • What’s everyone’s daily driver true wireless earbuds ->Amazon has jabra elite 7 actives new. They tend to have the active 8 gen 1 off and on at times so may try to find one on there. Got lucky myself and got 2 Pairs of the active 8 gen 1 and they are new
r/Earbuds • IP57 or better earbuds - need to replace my Jabra Active Elite 75+ ->I have the JE 10 g2, and found them bigger then my old JB 8's g1.
r/Jabra • Jabra Elite 10 for small ears? ->I have jabra elite 8 activ 1st gen and they're awesome AF! They dont disappoint if tough earbuds are what you want. I've had several kinds of low-medum- and a few high end buds and the only thing about them I don't love is the instant music or one touch music choice is Spotify which isn't exactly a negative and the other is when using Google assistant or Gemini, the sound you hear after saying "hey google" beeps but the app doesn't respond. No biggie, you just hold the button for a few seconds and it works. Those are personal complaints really. The major drawbacks are the ''find my jabra" feature isn't very accurate but it's within about a 100 ft of their last location and the hard lesson I had to learn is this, they have grippy rubber jackets on each earbud it's not a coating and over time with a lot of abuse like wearing them everyday and everywhere the jackets become kinda loose. I was an ambulance builder, and repair guy and spent countless hours under vehicles and I'd have to touch them with all kinds of different chemicals, motor oil, grease, dirt, sweat, etc... also I live in Texas and work in non climate controlled buildings. All this equates to decreased protection and water proof effectiveness. After over a year of this kind of abuse the left speaker stopped working after I showered with them. I bought them used on Amazon too. Their sound is incredible. I'd forget I had them in because they are so comfortable. Connectivity was excellent and stable. I heard details and a rich tone in music I didn't know was there. They became an extension of me. Replace the jackets and they can't be beat.
r/Jabra • Moving on from Jabra earbuds and would love some help! ->The Gen 2 elite 8 actives are much better than the Gen 1. I own both. Neither are available, but I thought I would mention if they ever do become available again.
r/Jabra • Best earbuds similar to Elite 8 active ->Very much so. They are plagued by QA issues. My Elite 8's started to act up 3 months after I got them and the replacements less than a year after I got them. which is why I bought the Gen 2's.
r/Jabra • Best earbuds similar to Elite 8 active ->Galaxy bud pro 3 and jabra elite gen 1 amazing for call quality while doing gym training session.
r/Earbuds • Best for Calls? ->Almost all earbuds mentioned have really poor call quality despite being a primary concern. Huawei freebuds pro 4 is the best option hands down from that aspect and overall great buds. AZ100 might be the best allround earbuds right now but if they aren’t available that’s no option. If you can find jabra elite gen 2 still sold somewhere they are also a great allround option, even Gen 1 are great buds.
r/Earbuds • WHAT ARE THE BEST EARBUDS? ->Jabra elite 10/8 Gen 1 and Gen 2. The Elite 10 buttons are sensitive enough you can press them with your shoulder.
r/Earbuds • NOISE CANCELLING earbuds with Physical BUTTONS? ->I had the Ip7 and as a truck driver they had about a 3hr battery life after 1 year they had some troubles connecting once in a while or one wouldn't turn on the driver. 2yrs in and the batter life was down to about 2 hrs on a full charge. Year 3 they died before we got there the left one stopped being loud and wouldn't match the volume of the right one just after the 2nd year mark. So longevity wise they were not the ticket. This all said I can't find head phones that would match the sound quality I got from them. The senheisser true wireless 1 and 2 were good but not better, Jabra elite 7 are ok but still not better? Beat studio buds plus I find to be very very underwhelming and would take the Jabra over them. Looking into the sonys or the bang and olfsen ones not sure what to do either. I use headphones for up to 12 hrs a day so I am hard on them and have killed multiple different ones.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to buy 2025 ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
