Jabra elite 8 is a great product, I have the gen 1, featuring IP68-rated dust and water resistance, ShakeGrip technology (sticks better in your ear). Fully dust‑tight; no dust ingress in lab testing. Can be submerged in up to about 1.5 m of fresh water for up to 30 minutes without damage (temporary submersion, not continuous swimming use). The case is ip54 too bad they are out of production.

I have jabra elite 8 activ 1st gen and they're awesome AF! They dont disappoint if tough earbuds are what you want. I've had several kinds of low-medum- and a few high end buds and the only thing about them I don't love is the instant music or one touch music choice is Spotify which isn't exactly a negative and the other is when using Google assistant or Gemini, the sound you hear after saying "hey google" beeps but the app doesn't respond. No biggie, you just hold the button for a few seconds and it works. Those are personal complaints really. The major drawbacks are the ''find my jabra" feature isn't very accurate but it's within about a 100 ft of their last location and the hard lesson I had to learn is this, they have grippy rubber jackets on each earbud it's not a coating and over time with a lot of abuse like wearing them everyday and everywhere the jackets become kinda loose. I was an ambulance builder, and repair guy and spent countless hours under vehicles and I'd have to touch them with all kinds of different chemicals, motor oil, grease, dirt, sweat, etc... also I live in Texas and work in non climate controlled buildings. All this equates to decreased protection and water proof effectiveness. After over a year of this kind of abuse the left speaker stopped working after I showered with them. I bought them used on Amazon too. Their sound is incredible. I'd forget I had them in because they are so comfortable. Connectivity was excellent and stable. I heard details and a rich tone in music I didn't know was there. They became an extension of me. Replace the jackets and they can't be beat.

The Gen 2 elite 8 actives are much better than the Gen 1. I own both. Neither are available, but I thought I would mention if they ever do become available again.

Very much so. They are plagued by QA issues. My Elite 8's started to act up 3 months after I got them and the replacements less than a year after I got them. which is why I bought the Gen 2's.

I use the these, I’ll buy whatever model is new. I buy them often because they are cheap and they break so much.

I use Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the gym for the noise cancelling and use Jabra Elite Active 8 for running because they come lose
