"the wind noise is terrible."

I would compare it to the low rumble when you're on a plane, but not nearly as loud. ... I switched back and forth a few times and without the wind noise reduction turned on, it sounded more like a wind tunnel."

"poor codec support is a dealbreaker if you have Android ... They sound like garbage with the older codecs. ... For example the Jabra Elite 8 Active supports SBC codec on Android phones, and it sounds like absolute dog trash. ... Sounds like listening to a 64-128 MP3 you downloaded on limewire 15 years ago."

"They do block a lot of noise even when the ANC is off, so if you need to be able to hear cars and you didn't like the hearthrough from Jabra, you may want to keep looking."
I returned these. My Samsung Galaxy Buds2 pros had better transparency mode for work, being that people came to my desk frequently, and me to theirs. Call quality wasn’t as good, and I found the bass to be lacking. My Jabra Elite Active 8 Gen 2’s are the only keepers. Apple, AZ100’s, Bose, JBL, Sony, and even Beats, I tried them all. Most kept falling out. I workout and play golf in the Jabra’s. They don’t move. Better call quality, bass, and fit. I’m trying a few more when they get here next week, too. Perl Pros, Accentums and the AZ80’s. I doubt I’ll like any of the, but who knows.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds I’ve ever used! ->I have had Gen 1 & 2 Apple AirPods Pro and Gen 1 & 2 Bose quiet comfort earbuds. The apples had lots going for them but with no eq and having to constantly re-twist them into my ears every 15-30 minutes they became a no and both were eventually returned. There were other iPhone specific bonuses but they won’t assist you. the gen 1 bose had the best fit of all these. very comfortable and secure. anc on both bose models was really good and the sound quality was top notch. but they had terrible bt connectivity with my iphone. had to often forget and reconnect. mich too often for buds in that price range. had to call bose about this way too often. so i've had these elite 8 gen 2 for about 2 weeks. Happy overall after upping the tip size. So i’d recommend you try the $175-300 level Sony, Samsung, and Google buds in that order. With Black Friday deals here or soon, hopefully you’ll find some goods options. Def try getting them from a Costco or Sam’s due to their generous return policies. Good luck!
r/Jabra • Can anyone recommend good (non-Jabra) wireless earbuds? ->There’s no such thing as the perfect wireless earbuds that excel equally in calls, sound quality, music, and workouts. However, I’ve found that the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 and Elite 8 Gen 2 come closest to meeting my needs, especially for calls. I own two phones—a personal iPhone and a work Samsung Galaxy. Jabra earbuds connect to both simultaneously ( multipoint BT ) support ), which is a huge plus. They also feature a SideTone option, which is similar to ANC during calls. With SideTone, I can leave the feature on to hear my own voice and some background noise ( Default ),or turn it off for less background noise and reduced feedback of my voice. Personally, I prefer Jabra for calls because I dislike 100% noise cancellation during calls, music, or workouts. Jabra earbuds are very comfortable for me (I use the medium silicone tips) and stay secure in my ears. Compared to the Apple AirPods Pro 2, Jabra fits better and is slightly more comfortable. Additionally, AirPods Pro 2 can only connect to one phone at a time unless both devices are part of the Apple ecosystem. Another issue I’ve had with AirPods Pro 2 is that, when using just one earbud (in my case, the right one), the ANC feels unnatural, and I find it bothersome. For ANC Lovers Jabra’s ANC is good but not the best. If ANC is your top priority, Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are an excellent choice, offering superior ANC. AirPods Pro 2 also perform well in this area but, again, they’re not as ideal for calls compared to Jabra. For the ultimate ANC experience, I recommend over-ear headphones. The Sony WH-1000XM4/XM5 are my top pick, offering slightly better music quality than Bose. On the other hand, Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones edge out Sony by a small margin for ANC. It comes down to personal preference: Bose delivers 1% better ANC, while Sony has a 1% edge in sound quality. For audiophiles, other over-ear options like Apple AirPods Max, Sonos Max, Bang & Olufsen, Sennheiser, and Technics are worth considering. While their in-ear models are also good, they’re still a step below their over-ear counterparts for sound quality. For Music Enthusiasts If music is your primary focus, over-ear headphones are generally better than in-ear options. The soundstage, clarity, and overall experience are superior with over-ear models. For Workouts When it comes to workouts, many in-ear earbuds, even the most secure ones, tend to fall out during intense activity. For running or heavy workouts, I recommend earbuds with ear hooks, such as the Beats Fit Pro. Ear hooks provide much better security during movement. Conclusion Ultimately, the best choice depends on your primary use case: • For calls: Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 or Elite 8 Gen 2. Support of multipoint BT ( 2 phones ) • For ANC: Bose QuietComfort Ultra (in-ear or over-ear). • For music: Sony WH-1000XM4/5 or Bose QuietComfort Ultra (over-ear). • For workouts: Choose earbuds with ear hooks like Beats Fit Pro. Every brand and model has its strengths and weaknesses, so it’s all about finding the right product for your specific needs. Let me know if you’d like further adjustments!
r/Earbuds • What are the best earbuds for ANC? ->Which Jabras? What do you like better about the Technics? I have the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and I'm pretty happy with them. I am curious about how the Technics compare though.
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->Soooo you kinda asking for the ultimate hybrid. And they just don't exist. However at the price point you going for you have great options. First if you want in eco system, galaxy buds pro 3 and the easy choice. If you want best sound Sony WF1000XM5 is definitely for audiophiles. If you want something for the gym with good sound, jabra elite8 active gen 2 is the best out there. If you want to spend half those prices and have a great daily driver I'd recommend checking out the nothing ear gen 2.
r/S22Ultra • Seeking best earbuds for cancelling noise - what is your pick? ->Well they still sell them. And they are still easily the best active earbuds by a wide margin. But if you can't find them, I'd say honestly the Soundcore X20 is the next best. Very good for a cheaper price. And I know Sennheiser makes the Momentum Sport but I have tried them as well and I can confidently say they're overpriced and underwhelming (imo) *Other suggestions I see might be good earbuds, but the "active" features are critical to me, you can't dump water on your head mid run with just any earbuds.
r/Jabra • Best alternatives to jabra elite 8 active gen 2? ->I’ve purchased almost everything at this point. I’ve compared them all back to back and side by side. The best ANC TWS you can get while actually having a working app is the new Bose Quietcomfort that just came out. Second is going to be Jabra Elite 8 second edition tied with AirPod Pro 2 with excellent fitting tips. After that, when you get into budget buds it’s a tough go. The Soundcore Space is OK, the Tozo NC9 is OK but definitely less than the above listed buds. If you’re using them for sleep at all, the Jabra and Bose fit me a lot better than AirPod Pro 2 but if you can use the stick style there are a lot more options out there for you.
r/Earbuds • Best Noise Cancelling? ->I like the Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2. Better ANC and battery than AirPods Pro 2, super durable / can wear them in rain, shower. Good sound.
r/Earbuds • The best noise cancelling earbuds Right Now? Recommendations? ->Jabra needs to un-cancel their line. elite 8 active gen II are what I always reach for. Have AirPods Pro II and WF-XM5’s. Nothing fits as well, has better anc, has better battery, or is waterproof like my jabras. I should have bought 2 at the end cause I think it’ll be a couple years till someone catches up.
r/Jabra • Best non-Jabra earbuds similar to Elite 8 Active (under $130)? ->Technics az100 blew me away and I came from Beoplay h9 and jabra elite active 8 gen 2.
r/Earbuds • What are currently the best wireless earbuds? ->This explains why the engraving on my Elite 8 Active Gen 2 case has already worn off. Sue these jerks!
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->🙄 I never had an issue with my engraved products from Apple…so pretty sure that I’m not the issue, bucko.
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->I had the same Jabras for two years until the right earbud stopped charging. I got the elite active 8s to replace them. I love them just as much as the 75 T. Both pairs have been the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn so I'd be hesitant to try another higher-end set from another brand... but will have to eventually since Jabra has stopped making new earbuds. They do block a lot of noise even when the ANC is off, so if you need to be able to hear cars and you didn't like the hearthrough from Jabra, you may want to keep looking.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->Ran my usual 4.5mi loop this morning. Definitely get the wind noise when using hearthrough. When I turned on wind noise reduction, the wind noise was cut in half. I would compare it to the low rumble when you're on a plane, but not nearly as loud. I switched back and forth a few times and without the wind noise reduction turned on, it sounded more like a wind tunnel. I turned that back on for the final mile and got used to it. Definiely could hear when a car was coming up on me from behind and if a car was idling in a driveway (it's still 40deg in the morning here... come on spring!) To clarify, I have the Elite Active 8 Gen 2. hope that helps.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->Go for the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2—mic crushes the Sony LinkBuds S in noisy/quiet settings, keeps your voice natural, and the fit’s comfy/secure (IP68 rating). If that’s too pricey, the Anker Liberty 4 NC is a cheaper runner-up with decent mics (stem design helps) and ANC. Sony’s mics get shaky in noise, and their shallow fit annoys some. Both Jabra/Anker use silicone tips, so no AirPod 4 vibes. You’re golden. Also you can check this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Earbuds/comments/1i0k6ye/earbuds_for_you/
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->Wait wut… I just got my mother and I new pairs of elite 8 and elite 8 gen 2
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->Their quality is good but I wish I’d gotten AirPods. Jabari’s don’t listen for hey siri And I use AI and Siri all the time
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->Wait wut… I just got my mother and I new pairs of elite 8 and elite 8 gen 2
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->Their quality is good but I wish I’d gotten AirPods. Jabari’s don’t listen for hey siri And I use AI and Siri all the time
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->Wow I have the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and I hate them. The left one always wants to fall out. I hate that the default is hear-through and I have to change it in the app every day.
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->Correct, I only run with the right but the default is hear-through. I wonder if there's a way to fix that. I suspect that the ANC / hear-through and being able to move the tracks forward cannot be on the same bud.
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->I like the Jabra Elite Active 8 gen 2. I sweat a lot when I run and these stay in my ears better than any other brand. They also sound great and the ANC is pretty good.
r/headphones • Headphones that can handle intensive workouts and sweat ->Try Jabra elite 8 v2. Thank me later.
r/runna • Earbuds - Beats Fit Pro broke and now considering AirPod Pro 2 ->Oh wow! The 10 seems to be available tho - although I think 8 is a bit better for running [https://amzn.eu/d/3CuCRnX](https://amzn.eu/d/3CuCRnX)
r/runna • Earbuds - Beats Fit Pro broke and now considering AirPod Pro 2 ->Loving my jabra elite 8 active gen 2s! Purchased xm5s first but man are they uncomfortable. Returned them for the jabras and couldn't be happier. Fits like a glove and pretty much indestructible
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Same I bought the xm5s first and tried so hard to love them but just couldn't get past the fit. I returned them and got elite 8s and as sson as I put them near my ear they slipped in as if they were made just for my ears. So glad I switched!
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Elite 8s are awesome. I bought xm5s first but the fit was too brutal so returned them and got the jabras which fit like a glove
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->Whatever you choose - STAY AWAY from jabra latest products. I own a new pair of Elite 8 Active Gen 2 - except for the great fit inside the ear, it's a piece of shit of a product. My pair turned out to be defective and I noticed lots of posts lately having the same problem - don't waste you money on this so called premium product, what a disappointment.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->I don’t think you will find a bifl bud. I really like the AirPod pro 2 but would not expect to get more than 2-3 years out of them. I also recently bought Jabra Elite 8 gen 2s which I use for work. They are decent too.
r/BuyItForLife • Noise canceling headphones and ear buds ->If you can still get them the Jabra Elite 10 Gen2 or Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen2, great sound, excellent ANC but Jabra stopped producing them and Software updates are up in the air
r/Earbuds • What are the best sounding wireless earbuds under $250? ->If you can find them, the Jabra Elite 8 Active GEN2 will fit the bill very well. Jabra did go out of the consumer biz so these are very difficult to find… but possible. On the very cheap end of things, the Sony C510 is working phenomenally well for me for sports. They are extremely light and stable and the fit is very good. They will probably not fall out even if a grenade hits me. They have withstood anything I threw at them. They do not have ANC and again these are cheap almost throw away buds. But the sound quality is very decent and the fit is perfect for sports.
r/Earbuds • Best running earbuds???? ->The Elite 8 Active 2s have a lot of issues. I had to file a warranty repair for them. They sent me a brand new pair but I sold it on eBay. This is despite the fact that the sound quality was exceptional and the wear comfort was unparalleled. For the list that you provided all options are great though I will give the edge to the LinkBuds. Also look into the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro. The sound quality is 2nd to none and it does very well at the gym. The only issue with it is the case imo… it is a space helmet design which I’m still kinda getting used to and it is on the bigger side. All else I’m very satisfied with them.
r/Jabra • Help me choose the best earbuds ->I'm in an open plan office, it can get noisy. Currently using Jabra Elite Active 8 Gen 2's, I love them they are super comfy, the mic works well in noisy environments, they have hear through so you can still hear ambient noise while talking so you don't feel the need to shout, but also ANC works well when the office is really noisy. Battery life is great as well, I've been on 4+ hour bridge calls without needing to recharge and they also have multipoint Bluetooth so they can be paired to my phone and laptop. Highly recommended.
r/sysadmin • Headphone recommendations for frequent zoom meetings in open plan office environment ->Elite 8 Active Gen 2 are great. I use them for everything.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->Have an elite 8 g2, and they’re the very best earbuds I’ve ever used. Not exaggerating, but over a day of listening without a recharge, app comes with an EQ for bass boost that sounds pristine. Spoken word sounds like they’re speaking into your ears. Amazing. 🥲
r/audible • What earbuds do you use? ->Jabra elite 8 active gen 2. I’m a literal sweat bomb when I work out and I’ve even washed these bad boys by accident I. The laundry. Still work great, good sound and never fall out when I’m all sweaty. Lasted more than a year so far too
r/sanantonio • Runners, which headphones? ->The Sony WF-1000XM5 and JBL tour pro 3 are solid contenders for ANC when compared to the Bose QC ultra. Also the Jabra elite 8 Gen 2 (but these are mainly good for ANC because they have a superb fit I have yet to find on any other pair, but the fit could be different for others)
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds with ANC close to Bose? ->Any elite active versions from Jabra are solid. The OnePlus buds 3 are also solid with ip55
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for 60-70€? ->I’m not an audiophile either, I’ve just had a terrible experience with the last couple of buds from JBL (including the Peak 3) regarding fit, sound, and connectivity. I’m mostly just trying to listen to something on a run and they have fallen short. I suppose it would depend on your budget. I got a pair of Jabra Elite 8 gen 2 recently and have been really enjoying them. There is this feature on the app where it even gives you an audio test to help adjust the buds to you better. There are a ton of folks here though that have really good recommendations.
r/Earbuds • Earbuds Recommendation Solely for Sound Quality ->Hello! Apologies for the very late reply, but I have an update I’d like to share with you regarding g my experience thus far with the Jabra’s I recommend. I have also had some pretty terrible experiences with non-hooked/anchored headphones in the past as well, especially as it pertains to sweat and them wanting to fall out. I’ve taken my Jabra’s on a couple of run so far and must say, they really seem to stay in place. The material they use in the actual ear piece seems to be fairly resistant to sweat lubricating they in my ear canal and have so far held up fantastic. To make sure I wasn’t just being biased against my old JBLs, I went back and tried my Peak 3 and Tune buds. The Peak 3s are going through some connection issues when fun and it’s driving me absolutely bananas. The music will play just fine, but it keeps dropping connection to a point that I’d rather just run without music if I have those with me. The Tune buds are frustrating for completely different reasons. The bus is almost too heavy for itself and keeps falling out without any effort on my part. Sorry for the late reply, I hope you found a bud that works for you!
r/Earbuds • Earbuds Recommendation Solely for Sound Quality ->I also thought about these, but I decided for the Jabra elite 8 gen 2 and I'm really happy with them. They are fully waterproof and dustproof, so I don't have to worry about damage from chalk, sweat or rain, they sound really good and they sit quiet deep, what makes them sit really secure.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->The fit is really perfect for me, but I guess it's just depending on the form of the ears. When they fit well in the ears and after boosting the bass a bit in the app it's enough bass for me (listening mostly to classical music), but I understand that it might be too little for someone searching for headphones with a lot of bass. I never tried the older models from jabra, I just tried the Sony WH-1000XM5 as I couldn't test the in ears from them and I was really not that impressed with the sound quality and from reading the reviews about their noise cancellation I expected them to be on a much higher level than the jabra.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2, pretty much what you get for Elite 10 but better fit for workouts due to the slight design difference from 10. I own both but 10s for home listen, 8 I use for commute/travel and workouts.
r/Earbuds • Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 for weight training. ->Technically the 10s. But what I keep saying is 8s can hold their own and imo have the better fit and the durability is stronger and Ip rating too so its more versatile.
r/Earbuds • Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 for weight training. ->8s are fine, 10s are stronger but 8s are fine and just full boost it if you want. 10s I turn down bass a little. 8s better for gym anyway as I would describe that 8s go deeper into the ear when 10s are halfway in but because are bigger, provide powerful sound and bass. But 8s are not lacking in anyway and do the job you need it to, boosting the bass with EQ will do it and with 10s, I had to turn them down. But got both for their different uses.
r/Earbuds • Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 for weight training. ->I use AirPods pro, and Anker X20 sport for exercise, as sweat as a boar and they are quite robust :) Alternatively, if you want to use only one buds, consider Jabra 8 elite gen 2, great for workouts and for everyday needs.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds for daily workout and/or work use ->I got[ ](https://redditors-must-haves.blogspot.com/2025/03/the-5-best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-of.html)[Jabra elite 8 active gen 2](https://redditors-must-haves.blogspot.com/2025/03/the-5-best-noise-cancelling-earbuds-of.html) based on reviews of how well they fit other people's ears. I'm glad I trusted the reviews for once because these are rock solid. Active Noise cancellation is awesome. The battery life is also really good. I've had these for almost 2 months, workout 6x a week, and am at the gym for 60-90 minutes. They were charged out of the box and I've plugged them in to charge ONCE.
r/Earbuds • What are the best noise cancelling earbuds right now? ->I definitely second this, linkbud fits have been the best I've found for call quality (in reference to the person on the other end actually hearing me). The jabra active elite 8 gen 2 were trash and the biggest letdown out of my vast search, and I mean vast search. Nothing about that particular earbud (JAE8G2) is good, other than the fact of how rugged it's "supposed to be." But everything else I read reviews on suggested they were fantastic in all apsects, and nothing could have been further from my experience, so that makes me doubt their actual ruggedness. I ran my tests for call quality in airports, on trams, trains, busy streets, noisy office environments and in the back of my facilities where we run large air compressors, impact tools, welders and there's always someone beating on something metal with something else made out of metal. The linkbud fits were the first pair of buds I came across where I didn't have to continuously repeat myself to my dedicated test subject, my wife. I've been intrigued about the huawei free bud pro 4's, but I've heard that you need a huawei phone to really take advantage of their earbuds, so thats held me off from trying them. However, they are on sale right now for 138, so I may just give em a go.
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->The XM5 were good. I didn't quite like the fit of them, but could definitely have lived with it if they were that much better. The noise canceling, to me, was not quite as good as the air pro 4's, and the only thing I can attribute that to was the fit that I didn't quite like. Of note, the new Earfuns are bluetooth 5.4 and they are the only ones out of the list I own that were, so I'm going to stop out on a ledge and say that makes the connection quite a bit more viable. I did try some connection testing and distance/penetrative through walls etc. by leaving my phone upstairs in the bedroom and walking around my house, going downstairs, out into my garage and then down the driveway. The Earfun went the farthest by getting me out into the driveway, only by about 8-10 ft keep in mind, but still were the farthest. The Jabras were second as they got me to the exterior door of my garage, and the rest all lost connection as soon as I stepped into my garage. Interestingly enough, the ones I wanted to work out the most were the active 8 gen 2's. They fit perfect, the size was great, and I liked the material on them. But the app connectivity wasn't on point and the call quality just wasn't there, even though all the reviews I read said they were the best. The xm5 poked out of my head just a bit too much, but again, I likely could have lived with them if they fit better, and maybe that would have helped with the ANC. I didn't care for the shiny/slick surface on them really, but that is definitely subjective to an individual user. All in all, for everything I read about the xm5 that was so positive, I just didn't have the same experience with them. Not in sound quality, not in functionality/connectivity and not in call quality. Also of note, I tried all of these with stock tips, comply tips, some bamboo tip that I was recommended (they are clear with green internals) and jvc spiral dots. I've always been a spiral dot fan for some reason, for whatever that may be worth to you. What it ultimately boiled down to for me was call quality and how quickly the buds paired up to my phone and the earfun air pro 4 were hands down better than the rest at these two aspects. And the sound quality, to me, was more than acceptable considering how good everything else was for me. If I'm really after just kicking back and listening to music, that's what I have my FH7 for, as those COMPLETELY blow all of the buds out of the water. But they should, they are IEMs. And great IEMs to boot. If the xm5 end up fitting you well, I do believe you will like them, as long as you are OK with the caveats I've mentioned.
r/Earbuds • Help with Wireless Earbuds (Nothing Ear 2024 vs the others in the US$ 200 - 250 bracket) ->Yeah. They've somehow been the best I've tested. The mic quality was one thing that was super high on my list as I do alot of traveling for work. The biggest letdown from all I tested was the Jabra active elite 8 gen 2's. I really really wanted to like those, and all the videos I watched and reviews I read on them showed those as the best by far...and that wasnt even close to my experience. I've tested all the earbuds I've purchased in airports, next to a large running air compressor in my garage, next to a blender and in a hot tub. The wife said she could hear me the best with these. When I was standing next to my large air compressor, she said I sounded a like I was a little bit underwater, but could still here what I was saying. Hope that helps.
r/sony • Sony Linkbuds Fit ->I was talking about how the person on the other end of the line could hear me, though I've not had any issues hearing the other person either. They seem to be plenty loud if you dial them in. I've tested a grip of earbuds strictly for call quality in my traveling for work (airports, shuttles, the tram at DIA, etc.), and it was pretty astounding how poorly many of them did. The biggest letdown was the Jabra elite 8 gen 2's. Those things had glowing reviews online, and they just did not live up to anything I read about in any way. For me, anyway. I will say, though, I've started to notice some weird quirks with the link bud fits, particularly if I use them with my steamdeck. Weird connection issues, not syncing and only playing sound on one bud, taking forever to connect and recently a significant battery drain on the left vs right, as in, the left earbud dies at about 2 hours and the right is still right at 50%. However, this (as far as I can tell as of now) seems to be isolated to the deck, and I have neen talking with a sony rep trying to figure out what's going on, but no love yet. Hope that helps!
r/sony • Sony Linkbuds Fit ->You're welcome, anytime. Well, I was looking for something specifically to use for phone calls while traveling, something that would stay put in the hustle and bustle of it and be comfortable. When I bought the Fit, I didn't know they existed as I stumbled across them at my local best buy, and I actually think I bought their "go put these out on the display" set, because it took like 4 or 5 days before i seen them come up for sale on their actual website, or on amazon or even sonys website. Who knows. I really didn't want to buy another Sony product, to be truthful, but the "brand new" got me lol. I had the xm4 when they came out and had nothing but issues with the batteries and replacement after replacement. The S (didnt test) had the same reported issues, as did the xm5 (tested), in my research. Folks were all over the board on that when I dug into it, so i couldn't really get a good guage, but I knew I had issues, so in my head, I was going to keep having issues, but again....brand new product lol. Ive tried about a dozen or so earbuds next to one another to address my needs (making phone calls) and the fits were the ones that won out on this, for me. The biggest letdown down and the ones i really thought would be the answer (and the ones i really wanted to work out) were the Jabra elite active 8 gen 2's. Every review that I found on them that did sound testing made them seem like they would definitely address my use case, and they were just a total let down all over the board. Sound was meh, app was alright, phone call quality sucked. They didn't even make it past sitting in a quite room, my wife said I sounded like I was underwater lol. So I would say the reason I ended up with the fits over the S is strictly because of me stumbling upon a brand new product I didn't know existed when I found them. How they happened to be the ones that had the best call quality out of all the ones I tried is beyond me, but here we are lol.
r/sony • Sony Linkbuds Fit ->Jabra Elite 8, Gen 2 - Only ones that fit my ears.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->They don’t work for me. The bud itself is too big. The elite 8s work perfect for my small ears.
r/Jabra • Jabra Elite 10 for small ears? ->I have the Jabra elite 8 active Gen 2 and they do not fall out. I've run 10 miles in rain with them, all good. I didn't get ear hook headphones because I often wear glasses and didn't want two things over my ears. Edited to add they have a pass through noise setting, so you can hear bikes and cars, etc... also noise cancelling, which I use when I'm on the train or ferry (commuting).
r/beginnerrunning • Ear buds that don’t fall out? ->I presently have Jabra Elite 7. IMHO, they are the most comfortable earbuds I've worn. Sound quality is great on music, but decent on calls. I'm thinking about getting the Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 as a replacement. Has all the same features of the 10 Gen 2, but better waterproofing and a few bucks less. I don't need the remote use from the case feature which the 10 Gen 2 has. Since Jabra is leaving the consumer electronics division, this is their last set. But they said that there will be continual updates. May be a disqualifier for some. I don't like Bose earbuds for some reason. I prefer their over the ear sets, which I have. The Sonys are very highly rated for their noise cancellation and other features. They were a bit uncomfortable on my ears. Never considered the Apple AirPods, because of the one color. If the buds had other colors like their AirPod Max, I could buy them. Just don't like the white tips sticking out of my ear. I know that Anker makes good cables and accessories, but some say that their buds are surprisingly good. Don't know how long they will last though, but a cheaper option for some. Never had Sennheiser earbuds, so I can't comment. Never knew that Technics made earbuds. I thought they limited themselves to higher end stuff.
r/Earbuds • The Best Earbuds to Buy Right Now? ->Have had Powerbeats Pro twice and they’ve been great - bar some connecting issues and the slow death of one earbud before the other. Now working with the Jabra Elite Active 8 (I think) and they’re excellent.
r/Marathon_Training • Best Running Headphones ->I’ve since moved on to the Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 - which are good, but perhaps not as ‘premium’-feeling as the PowerBeats. I don’t think Jabra are that easy to find any more either
r/Marathon_Training • Best Running Headphones ->I have AirBuds, AirBuds Pro, Buds Pro 2, and Jabra 8 Gen 2. The Jabra are by far the best all-rounders. Best fit/comfort, best battery life(by a LOT) and they sound great. I use the Pixel 9 XL Pro and have no issues with connectivity other than having an issue if I take the buds out of the case one at a time, only one will connect. But, if that happens a quick double tap on the non-connected bud wakes it up and it connects immediately. The only issue I have that is a pain is, if I'm connected to 2 devices (phone and tablet) I have to disconnect the tablet before answering the phone as the person on the other line cannot understand me due to digital noise.
r/Jabra • Can anyone recommend good (non-Jabra) wireless earbuds? ->Got the Elite Active 65t six years ago and they have about 90 minutes of consecutive use while connected to my Garmin watch while out for a run. I just purchased the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 for $179 on Amazon during prime day earlier this month. Hopefully, they last me another six years before I have to decide on a new brand.
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->I would suggest the Shokz mini, it sits better around the head. I am currently using the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2. I wanted full sweat proof and they are. Very happy with them.
r/ultrarunning • Sweat proof ear buds? ->The favs are the Beats fit pro and Jabra elite 8 gen 2, you could go with the older powerbeats pro, they are still really good. Iif you need more options read [this](https://medium.com/@earbudswireless/top-5-earbuds-for-workouts-and-running-e70b7e6cd019).
r/XXRunning • To runners, what are the best headphones for running you've tried or heard of so far? ->Everyone's ears are different but I hear a significant difference between the air pro 4's and my AZ100 and my Jabra Elite 8. Closer to my Sennheiser Momentum TW 4, but still the soundstage and clarity of all those is at least a step above the earfuns. I've tried tuning the Earfuns, but they're considerably harsher, sibilant in the highs, and kind of compressed from 1k through about 5k. But that's just me.
r/Earbuds • Earfun Air Pro 4 ->Jabra Elite 10 (Get them before they're gone) Jabra Elite Active 8 Gen 2 (light, easy, excellent sound quality, and basically waterproof; no good hires codecs though, and the app is decent at best) Also get them before they're gone. The other thing about the Jabras is that the case becomes a Bluetooth transmitter for devices that aren't Bluetooth enabled. So, for example, you can use your earbuds on the in-flight entertainment systems on some airlines. (I LOVE them for travelling.) (Jabra is discontinuing their lines of wireless earbuds, which is really a shame.) Technics AZ-80 (one of the leaders in the 200-300 space; they were just made obsolete by the introduction of teh AZ-100s, so I'm expecting their price to go down even more soon) Denon PerL Pro (excellent sound quality, great integration of AptX codec, and amazing sound personalization, but blech everything else, including app and case). These were on sale during Black Friday/Christmas for $150, and for a short time Amazon had some limited stock for $99, which is absolutely insane quality for that price. Back at $200? I think I like the other options better. But be on the lookout. Nothing Ear (2024) -- stylish, comfy, squeeze controls so no accidental misclicks, great app. Sound quality is probably one rank below the Jabra, Technics, and Denon, but they're fine buds.
r/Earbuds • Best Bluetooth earbuds without breaking the bank ->Technics AZ-100 > AZ-80 \>B&W Pi8 recommended I haven't owned the Pi8, but I've listened to lots of audio samples. My favorite reviewers claim that on audio quality, the Pi8 is the top of the heap, but they're TRULY AWFUL on everything else, especially their mic pickup. Similarly, the PerL Pros have great sound, but they're uncomfortable, the app is hard to navigate, ANC is mid at best, and they're hard to get in and out of the case. So those are two buds with grteat sound, but bad "everything else." (The Denons get the nod because they are often really cheap on Amazon. They're back up to $200, but I bet they're going to go on sale for Prime Day. Even through I returned them before, I might snag a pair if they're $125 or less.) \>top-tier ANC That goes to the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra (2?). \>Are premium options worth it? I mean, it depends. I can hear a significant increase in quality between my AZ-100s and everything else I own. I'll put in a pair of budget buds, like the Baseus BP1 Pros, and think, "oh, this sounds pretty good." Then I'll listen on my AZ-100s and I'll think "*that* sounds good." Less harshness in the trebles (regardless of EQ), more clarity, better instrument separation, bass presence without booming or bleeding... But if you've never heard top-ear TWS earbuds, and you listened to $100 pair like the EarFun Air Pros, or the Liberty 4 Pro, or even something like the Nothing Ear (a) or Nothing Ear (2024) or one of the CMF Buds lineup, you'd probably thing they're amazing. Law of diminishing returns certainly applies. You have to pay exponentially more for small improvements. \>Share your top picks Of the buds I've tried, my favorites are the Az-100s. They're warm, and not harsh, but still have clarity. They're not the best ANC (I've not tried Bose, but they're the undisputed king there, and I think my EarFun Air Pro ANC is just about as good for 1/3 the price), or the very best microphone (they have this AI tech which makes your voice easy to be heard but can sometimes get a little distorted), or the best app (that goes to Nothing), or the best controls (again, nothing's squeeze controls), but they're the best package of everything. And I just love the sound signature, especially for the music I listen to (jazz/fusion, indie rock, pop, classic rock, classical, some electronic/"focus" stuff.) My No. 2 buds are the Jabra Elite 8 active. Indestructible (I think you can shower with them!) , physical buttons, SUPER comfy, great for exercise, just-fine sound quality, AND you can hook their case up to a non-Bluetooth source as a transmitter (great for flying on airplanes!) Nothing (2024) are good for how customizable they are. If their sound quality was just a little bit better they'd rival the AZ-100s. Denon PerL Pro have a beautiful soundstage. I just wish they were better at everything else. Technics Momentum Wireless 4 are... fine. They're not as comfy, and they're too harsh for me. People rave about the EarFun Air Pro 4s, but frankly I just don't like their sound very much. Good features in a good price.
r/Earbuds • Top 3 Earbuds Money can Buy? ->Price range? Best buds with a transmitter right now I believe are the JBL tour pro 3. My Jabra elite 8 gen 2 (and the elite 10 gen 2) also have a transmitter case, but they're discontinued. Others might have more affordable suggestions.
r/Earbuds • looking for true wireless earbuds with transmitter case ->DPP have great sound, but not much else going for them (ANC, app, comfort, mic). Definitely wouldn't recommend for all-day wear for meetings and the like (they're way too uncomfortable for me), but they will probably go on sale for $129, maybe even lower. At those prices, they're hard to beat purely for sound quality. I love my AZ100s, but note that they're not for everyone. They're a more mellow, mids and lows focused sound b/c of the liquid whatever drivers. I sometimes use the word "analog" to describe their feel. Now, I think there's still plenty of clarity in the mids and highs, and I love the sound (especially when I'm listening to jazz) but if you're looking for buds that feature clarity and sparkle up to the point of sibilance, the AZ100s are not for you. I think their mic is great, but some report that the AI used to isolate your voice can make it turn a little robot-y. ANC is very good, not great, and they're comfy for me. The really nice thing is that they have 3-point multipoint paring, so you can pair to your computer AND your phone AND your tablet and the sound will just switch between each. That's really nice for taking meetings on your computer and listening to music elsewhere. I own the Sennheiser Momentum TW4's, and everything about them is just "meh" for high-end buds. They're OK comfortable, OK app, OK sound (much more high punch), but some people really like them. In my cart are the JBL Tour Pro 3 and the JLabs Epic Labs, which have both gotten some pretty good play here. Also in my cart are the CMF Buds Pro 2, if they go below $50 (I kinda want to try the click wheel) and the Creative Aurvana Ace 2, because I want to try the xMEMS drivers (They're down to $75, which is almost low enough for me to try. If they go down to, say, $65, I'm definitely going for it). [https://www.soundguys.com/creative-aurvana-ace-2-review-108668/](https://www.soundguys.com/creative-aurvana-ace-2-review-108668/) Sorry that I can't really help for sport earbuds. I have a pair of Jabra Elite 8 that are just downright awesome -- click buttons, basically indestructible, amazingly comfortable--but they're discontinued. I've only tried one clippy earbud -- the SoundPeats Pearl Clip -- and, I dunno, they're fine I guess? That style is not for me. The Baseus BP1s are pretty damn good. Super bassy but still OK clarity, adaptive ANC, IP55, and comfy for me, and best of all, less than $30. I don't know how they'll stand up to sweat or if they'll fall out, but they're light enough, at least for me.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds $300 or Less ->Man I hope this isn't just for a bot or AI training.... My favorites, by far, are my AZ100s. Their ANC isn't the best, but sound quality is outstanding--TONS of clarity and decent soundstage (though perhaps a little smaller feeling than some of its competitors), but almost an "analog" feel with warmth (though no bass bloat); and great instrument separation. App is just fine (not the best in the biz but does what it needs to); comfort is good; battery life is great; call quality is great (again not best in the biz but no one ever struggles to hear me); 3-point multi-paring (2 when using LDAC) is awesome; connectivity is very good. PerLPro have as good of sound quality, though a little less warm feeling and integrated, with a wider sound stage, but they are not good fitting for most people. Senns are... OK. I don't love their sound signature personally, but others do. I don't like their app for customizing sound (you can't listen to your own music--you have to use this generic rock-ish tune from the app). Not as comfortable because the buds are bulkier. I do like their touch controls more than the az100's. The case is really nice. Haven't used the Bose, but I understand that their sound quality is... OK, but their ANC really shines. Haven't used the XM5s, but I understand that their ANC gets close to Bose, with slightly better sound quality, but still not to the level of the AZ100s. Nothing Ears you want to look at are Nothing Ear (2024) NOT nothing Ear (2) (the previous generation... yeah stupid naming convention). They have great app, great comfort, love their squeeze controls, but they're definitely a class below the big boys in sound quality and clarity. Jabras are discontinued. As much as I adore my Elite 8 Gen 2's (super comfy, indestructible, basically waterproof, love the pushbutton activation rather than touch on the buds, AND the cable to allow the case to be a transmitter for non bluetooth devices like airplane in flight entertainment) they're not sold anymore.
r/Earbuds • What are the current best wireless earbuds? ->My buddy has a pair of Denon Perl pros and loves them. He’s a true audiophile. Me not as much lol I own a pair of Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and love them. Low profile. Sits comfortable in ear. And if you work out and don’t prefer the hook style earbuds. Then these are perfect
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to buy 2025 ->Jabra's Elite 8 Active Gen 2.
r/Earbuds • Earphones good for side sleeping, with long battery life + quality ANC? ->I’m a jabra guy and I also have the elite 8 active (gen 2). In terms of ANC I would go with the Bose qc ultra (gen 2) I got them for work because I work by the highway and are a night and day difference with anc compared to the elite 8s - they are outside of your budget but if you could find a way to land these I highly recommend. The fit for the QC ultras isn’t as good for workouts - but they are comfy and secure enough for every standing task you could hope for (as long as you’re not jumping constantly). They are reasonable. And the sound is more amplified due to the bigger drivers compared to the elite 8s.
r/Jabra • Best non-Jabra earbuds similar to Elite 8 Active (under $130)? ->The gen 1 elite 8s are currently listed on eBay for over $300 - not sure if I want to pull the trigger. Gen 2 is more appealing but not for $1000 dollars used earbuds. Any other options left? I’m not getting the elite 10s - I had the 85ts and they fell out too easy plus the anc wasn’t too useful. I think another brand is probably the best option but I don’t know. As for the fix, I’m afraid of using too much glue (and idk what type) so there’s a risk of damage - unfortunately I can’t reach jabra support (probably because they stopped making earbuds)
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->I’ve tried Facebook marketplace - a pair of gen 2 elite 8s are going for around $1000 BNIB. I can’t and won’t spend that much. As for the elite 10s - I’ve used every justification I could when I bought the 85ts, still, no matter what tips I used (aftermarket or not) I could not enjoy them quite as much as the elite 7 actives. I need my earbuds to fit in my ear and stay put.
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->The gen 2 8s are not going for $200
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->The middle link is the only one that stands out because it’s actually Gen 2 brand new in the box - but it’s all the way in Ontario AND it’s a full $700 cheaper than any other seller which makes it sketchy. If it’s a legit ad, then cudos. Still, there’s no way I can get this.
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->Update: I bought them. Thanks for the links bud
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->If anyone is selling the gen 2 elite 8 for less than $300 brand new its suspicious. That’s just healthy skepticism. Posting on EBay for $1000 for an open box pair is also crazy. There’s no winning
r/Jabra • Calling all Jabra wireless earbud lovers - please help me fix my Jabra Elite 7 active or help me find a new earbud ->This, I'd still recommend the 8 Elite Active too but they're almost impossible to get now.
r/Earbuds • The Best Wireless Earbuds Available now? ->It's hefty for sure. I have a case and an AirTag on mine. Not too big for me but my last earbuds were the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2s, and that case was much more compact and super easy to travel with in comparison. I like the display but don't need it, all I'd want is the battery percentage. What I do like is the easy controls to put them into pairing mode or to disconnect from a device. The case itself is great though. Plenty of battery and I use the transmitter feature all the time.
r/Earbuds • Can't decide between Technics AZ100, JBL Pro 3 and Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 ->In addition to those mentioned Jabra elite 8/10 gen 2 are great for background noise reduction, just takes 10-15 to fully kick in but then busy roads and moderate wind seemingly disappear in calls.
r/Earbuds • Best for Calls? ->I got them early October so I’ve used them daily for 4.5 months by now
r/Earbuds • Best for Calls? ->Jabra elite 8 active gen 2 are the best allround earbuds without any obvious flaws
r/Earbuds • What are the current best wireless earbuds? ->The best allround bud that’s also great at noise suppression and mic quality during calls for me is Jabra elite 8 active gen 2, should be available around $150-200 on sale in most markets where it’s available.
r/Earbuds • Echolabs.. Yay or Nay? ->Jabra elite 8 gen 2 are great allround buds, main difference compared to the 10’s are that the 8’s come with round ear tips. Great call quality, ANC, sound quality, comfort, battery life etc
r/Earbuds • The Best Earbuds to Buy Right Now? ->I recently got Jabra elite 8 active gen 2 and they are amazing. Great call quality, sound, durability and battery. Transparency and ANC is also good. I’m still breaking them in so fit isn’t perfect, I get some soreness, but I think it’s less than when I first got them. It’s very personal though depending on your ear shape, and the very similar 75t active serves me well for three years.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Interesting, I tried the Jabra elite active 8 gen 2 and Nothing ear 2024 and returned the latter as to me the jabra was better in every way, including sound quality. The main issue for me though was that the nothing made my voice sound robotic via the mic and I rely on good call quality
r/Earbuds • Best overall earbud of 2024 (For my particular case) ->Jabra elite 8 gen 2 have great mics for earbuds but there are no wings or hooks for them. They stay in place well for me but it’s very individual
r/Earbuds • Earbuds for the gym with a decent microphone ->You could just get Sony XM5 or Sony linkbuds fit with speak-to-chat or Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro with easy chat that will automatically pause the music if you start talking. Jabra elite 8 active gen 2 doesn’t have that feature but if you can still find them they are awesome allround buds with physical buttons.
r/Earbuds • NOISE CANCELLING earbuds with Physical BUTTONS? ->Almost all earbuds mentioned have really poor call quality despite being a primary concern. Huawei freebuds pro 4 is the best option hands down from that aspect and overall great buds. AZ100 might be the best allround earbuds right now but if they aren’t available that’s no option. If you can find jabra elite gen 2 still sold somewhere they are also a great allround option, even Gen 1 are great buds.
r/Earbuds • WHAT ARE THE BEST EARBUDS? ->I agree, 8 active gen 2 are awesome
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->The sound isn’t the best there is but it’s really good and they have no real weak spots, can’t find any other ones without at least one obvious flaw.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->I went with the 8 active gen 2 and they are amazing, beats my old 75t active on every single way. Superior sound including richer bass, better ANC and transparency and call quality is better by a mile - I took a call walking next to a busy road in windy conditions and the other party didn’t even hear I was outside. Only thing I prefer from my 75t active’s is the slightly better fit, but that might just be out of habit as I’m still getting used to the slightly different fit with the 8’s. Best allround earbuds on the market today still.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->As long as they fit your ears they are really great earbuds
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->The best allrounders are Jabra elite 8 active gen 2, they are superior in call quality compared to Sennheiser, technics etc. The noise suppression during calls is amazing.
r/Earbuds • Best true wireless earbuds all round, including outdoor calls ->For me that matters very little since warranty is still valid and they already have a firmware update planned for early next year with fixes developed. They’ll also continue developing earbuds for the enterprise market. But I see how it can cause some concerns.
r/Earbuds • Best true wireless earbuds all round, including outdoor calls ->Very few earbuds have firmware continuously released so long. If any issues are resolved it doesn’t really matter as long as the earbuds hold up. If there had been equally great buds by some reputable brand that aren’t shutting down their consumer earbuds business I would go for those, but for my use case Jabra is better by a margin.
r/Earbuds • Best true wireless earbuds all round, including outdoor calls ->If you care about call quality I’d go for Jabra elite 8 gen 2 which are great allround too, Sony, Bose and technics are all mostly useless for calls if you’re not on a quiet environment which is hugely disappointing.
r/Earbuds • What are the best all-rounder earbuds? ->I would say Jabra elite 8 active gen 2 generally works well for me with PC and iPhone. Transparency isn’t top notch as it has some occlusion but good enough for me. My 75t active had rock solid connectivity for years and the 8 stay connected just fine for me normally but Jabra is addressing some connectivity issues early next year via firmware update. For me one or both buds are sometimes not recognized by my phone when started, with PC it’s worked fine but I use a jabra link dongle (any brand of 5.3 or 5.4 BT version should be fine though). I’m counting on the firmware as I’ve not been able to identify better suited buds, if that’s addressed I would recommend them but at the moment I have to give reservations.
r/Earbuds • Can you recommend me multipoint Bluetooth earbuds based on... ->+1 for Jabra. Tho I went for the Elite 8 Active gen 2. First pair of buds that actually stay in my ear. Everything else just falls out over time.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->I always had trouble with earbuds falling out. Tried some JBL buds, gave them to gf. Next pair was Oneplus Buds Pro 2 and had to resell bc they kept falling out. Finally I bought the Jabra Elite 8 Active and these ones have been staying in really well bc of the shakegrip silicone sleeve.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2. Extremely long battery life (The case especially), covered in a sweat resistant rubber, physical buttons for no phantom touches, app has an eq, low profile and the sound is good enough not spectacular though.
r/running • What earbuds do you use while running? ->I have the Elite 10, Elite 8 Active, Elite 8 Active Gen 2, and Elite 7 Active. No issues with any of them. Defective products happen.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->I have the Elite 10, Elite 8 Active, Elite 8 Active Gen 2, and Elite 7 Active. No issues with any of them. Defective products happen.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->The Gen 2 elite 8 actives are much better than the Gen 1. I own both. Neither are available, but I thought I would mention if they ever do become available again.
r/Jabra • Best earbuds similar to Elite 8 active ->Very much so. They are plagued by QA issues. My Elite 8's started to act up 3 months after I got them and the replacements less than a year after I got them. which is why I bought the Gen 2's.
r/Jabra • Best earbuds similar to Elite 8 active ->My Jabra Elite 8 left earbud quit working on me a couple months back and Jabra replaced them (under warranty) with the Gen 2 version. I think the new version is better handling wind noise. But I can’t saw 100% as I usually don’t use the near-through function. The Jabras are the ones that stay in my ear the best.

r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I own the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and they sound great, are comfortable, have good noise isolation and stay stable. They're the first earbuds that don't work their way out my ears. Other headphones you might want to look at: - Treblab Z7 Pro - beats Studio Pro - JBL Tune 770NC - Razer Opus - Bose QuietComfort Ultra
r/HeadphoneAdvice • For exercising. What type of wireless headphones are best? (in ear, on ear, over the ear) What do u own? ->I've had that on the Jabra Elite 7 Active's and Elite 8 Active Gen 2's *but* only when ANC is turned on and no audio is playing, which is a pretty rare occurrence. Who just sits there with no audio playing? They're not earplugs... Anytime any audio is played at any volume level, there's no way I hear that sound at all (which is a faint static sound for me)
r/Earbuds • I analyzed the 25 most recommended wireless earbuds on reddit ->It is so sad that Jabra is killing their Earbud line. I've had several iterations over the years and loved them all. I have the Elite Active 8 Gen 2 now and hey are indeed fantastic. I use the line in when flying and occasionally to connect to my employer's PC. RIP Jabra Buds...
r/Earbuds • Wireless Earbuds with a 3.5mm jack on the case ->Jabra is your brand but get it quick as they are leaving the market for consumer products.
r/Earbuds • NOISE CANCELLING earbuds with Physical BUTTONS? ->It's a physical button but you can't see it. Works a charm.
r/Earbuds • NOISE CANCELLING earbuds with Physical BUTTONS? ->Jabra Elite 8 2nd Gen if you can find a pair. They are all time.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I bought a pair of Elite 8 Gen 2 a few weeks ago, and they've been really disappointing so far. There seems to be a static sound that plays whenever my phone is playing media (even if it is on mute). It is very noticeable in specific ranges of sounds, like the mid-trebles or human speech. The buds would restart randomly after a painful beep while in transparency mode. And once, it made a horrible continuous beep in the case. After finally realizing that it was my buds that were the source of the noise (and drained all the battery in it too), I got a replacement. My replacement just came today, and I tested it immediately, only to find the static noise still persisting. Do all their earbuds have this problem? It's very noticeable when I am in a quiet environment and I have the sound mode set to off. A huge plus is the wired dongle mode though. So good for office use.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->I tried it on multiple devices -- my Android phone, Android tablet, and Windows computer (wired dongle mode). They all have the same issue. Codec-wise, I switched between AAC and SBC, which are the only 2 available. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000 XM3. While they are not TWS earbuds, they are still bluetooth headphones, and there is no issue with those at all.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Jabra elite active gen 2 (or any combination of these words). Super durable and battery life for ages.
r/minimalism • What Wireless Earbuds do you recommend? ->I mean the elite 8 and elite 8 Gen 2 are practically the same so in my book that makes them no 2 and now I feel this list has more credibility😂
r/Earbuds • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended wireless earbuds in the past year ->Honestly what's more telling IMO is the number of Jabra products on this list and yet sadly they're dropping out of the consumer earbud market. Planning on running elite 8s into the ground. Hopefully they maintain their enterprise line so when these give out I have an option.
r/Earbuds • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended wireless earbuds in the past year ->Jabra Elite 10. Gen 2 if possible, but the Gen 1 are good and cheaper. Jabra Elite 8 Active are good too, but I think the 10 are more comfortable.
r/Earbuds • Best wireless earbuds for microphone quality, comfort and good battery life for an Android phone? No music listening ->I'm not sure, I have one set of Elite 8 Gen 1 and two sets of Gen 2 (as well as multiple sets of Elite 10) and I've never experienced any of those problems. I would guess that you just got a defective set but since it happened with another set I wonder if there's some software/app issue? Maybe test the buds on a different device to see if they have the same problem? Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing caches, etc? Messing with your phone's audio/codec settings? I'm not really sure, I'm just brainstorming some avenues to check out to narrow down whether it's a hardware problem in the buds or some kind of mismatch/communication glitch happening somewhere between the phone and the buds.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Jabra elite 10/8 Gen 1 and Gen 2. The Elite 10 buttons are sensitive enough you can press them with your shoulder.
r/Earbuds • NOISE CANCELLING earbuds with Physical BUTTONS? ->Their mic are meh, especially the sennies, they're not great at all. Great for sound, but the mtw4 isn't a huge upgrade to the 3. It's what the 3 should have been (ie no battery issues). Sennies claiming they're future proof when they didn't really do much with auracast (ala jbl tp3). Or not even adding jabra's transmitter case. The devialet looks and feels nice, premium too. They're definitely up there. But again for the price you're paying, and what you're getting (yes amazing sound, top notch anc, excellent build, but not much other features), some people may argue they're not the best valued. The jbl tp3 seems like a nice overall package. So are the jabra elite 8/10 gen 2. They're great across the board, except for maybe build quality. Anc, sound, mic, ip protections, bluetooth transmitter, auracast are all above average.
r/sennheiser • Overall, the best 2 high end true wireless earbuds on the market. Why am I wrong? ->The jbl definitely hits hard ( tp2). Haven't tried the 3, but early reviews seems like they're great sounding. Jabra doesn't hit hard, but they're still have good sound that people would enjoy. Xm5 has the extra bass boost. I'd also say the bose qce have hard hitting bass. These aren't exactly feature packed though, as they don't have auracast, nor Bluetooth transmitters. (Or even wireless charging for the bose lol) All of these have excellent wear sensors. I think we both have different definition of'best', which is fine. I think gemini ii is great, but the sennies, meh. I reckon the buds fe is the best valued. Excellent anc, transparency, mic, fit. You can also use a3rd party equaliser and make them sound better out of the box (not saying they beat other tws in this regard, but considering sound is subjective, you can tweak them to what you'd like). And for what was on sale at 99aud, that's value.
r/sennheiser • Overall, the best 2 high end true wireless earbuds on the market. Why am I wrong? ->For working out, I think the fitting is number 1 priority. You would need something that sticks to your ears no matter what. For that I vouch for the jabra active, I'm using the elite8 active (around 200$) for nearly a year and like it very much. It's quite comfortable, sounds good enough & especially fits very well (I swear you could do backflip or swimming in these and they still stick!)
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best Wireless Headphones for Working Out – Any Recommendations? ->I’ve had the Bose sports, aftershokz, and Jabra. My favorite is just the AirPod Pros.
r/XXRunning • To runners, what are the best headphones for running you've tried or heard of so far? ->You can snag the jabras 10 if you're commuting and care about talking, 8 if you're active. They say they are discontinuing their earbuds line but 1. It'll be back 2. I still have every set I've ever owned and haven't had any issues. If you get 2 years out of them at 169 that about .25 cents per day. Great deal for great use but they'll last longer.
r/Earbuds • Any good wireless earbuds on a budget? Sick of Raycon ->I use Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the gym for the noise cancelling and use Jabra Elite Active 8 for running because they come lose
r/pixel_phones • Favorite earbuds or headphones for Pixel users? ->sorry, they don't come lose
r/pixel_phones • Favorite earbuds or headphones for Pixel users? ->Daily-driver buds are all about convenience: something you can throw in a pocket, pop in for calls, gym sessions, or a grocery run, and forget they’re there until you need them. Below are a few models suggestion from my end that tend to rise to the top of tech-forum polls: **1.** **Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen)** • Seamless iOS integration, reliable ANC/transparency, and the tiny case make them a no-brainer for iPhone users. • Mic performance is consistently strong for FaceTime or work calls. **2.** **Sony WF-1000XM5** • Class-leading active noise cancellation, customizable EQ, and multipoint Bluetooth. • If you commute on loud trains or value audiophile-grade tuning, these are tough to beat. **3.** **Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro** • Automatic device switching within the Samsung ecosystem, 24-bit audio with supported Galaxy phones, and comfy oval design. • Very pocket-friendly case compared with other premium ANC buds. **4.** **Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds** • The best passive fit + ANC combo on the market; they turn coffee shops into libraries. • Bose’s “Immersive Audio” spatial mode can add a bit of fun for Netflix on the couch. **5.** **Jabra Elite 8 Active** • Rugged IP68 rating and strong ear-lock fit make them ideal gym or outdoor companions. • Jabra’s multi-point lets you jump from laptop to phone without menu diving. **6.** **Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3** • Spacious, hi-fi soundstage and aptX Adaptive codec for Android users. • Case is a little thicker, but battery life compensates. **7.** **Cleer ARC II (open-ear)** • For anyone who dislikes having tips jammed in their ear canal all day, Cleer’s ARC series uses an open-ear “air-conduction” design. You hear your surroundings naturally while still getting surprisingly full mids and highs for music or podcasts. Perfect if you bounce between office chats, street traffic, and quick playlists without wanting total isolation. **Quick decision filter** • iPhone heavy user → AirPods Pro (ease of use) • Loud commute / flights → Sony WF-1000XM5 or Bose QC Ultra • Android hi-res listener → Sennheiser MTW3 • Rugged workouts → Jabra Elite 8 Active • Need situational awareness → Cleer ARC II
r/Earbuds • What’s everyone’s daily driver true wireless earbuds ->I have the Jabra elite 8 and the wind noise is terrible. I love them though, I never really need to use the hearthrough function.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I've been looking into a buds option. I have the steelseries 7p. And own some jabra elite 8 active, and love them for comfort and sound quality. While researching found out jabra bought arctis in 2021 and there the similarity of designs. Read some reviews that on ps5 the audio is low. Has this been fixed, or not had the issue at all?
r/steelseries • Got my Arctis Gamebuds yesterday. They have made a fantastic first impression and could very well be my favorite gaming headset. ->I really like the Jabra Elite 8s and then the constant noise started in the left ear that can’t be fixed and in just over a year they won’t replace them (Aust warranty). So I wouldn’t recommend them.
r/Earbuds • Best Earbuds to consider? Mostly for gym. ->I just bought the Elite 8 Active a month ago, and now there’s no sound in the right ear. What do think?
r/Jabra • Jabra earbud recommendations ->Clean like new, but still no sound from the right ear.
r/Jabra • Jabra earbud recommendations ->"I didn't see any tiny little hole. I’m planning to send it back to the distributor to apply for warranty and hope they can give me a proper replacement.
r/Jabra • Jabra earbud recommendations ->I have personally found the Active 8 to be terrible. The charging is super sketchy so half the time I put them on and there's no battery. There is also an alert that screams LOW BATTERY at you every few minutes when you have less than something like 20% battery left. You cannot turn it off. Otherwise they're ok. A lot less comfortable than some others, especially airpods.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I’d be giving a stronger look at the Jabras unfortunately there will likely be a point in the life of any given eartip where you’ll be thinking about the chance of the Sony bud falling out. That’s ok for me as a gym user or when bouldering but for a runner I’d feel like it would get annoying. Realistically sound quality means nothing if they can’t stay in your ears whist you’re using them so you should be prioritising a strong fit that requires minimal readjustment in the middle of a run. Also the Jabras appear to be sweatproof too.
r/SonyHeadphones • Is the Sony XM5 earbuds good for running? ->I have some Jabra’s Elite’s and the thump is horrible. Useless for running.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Yeah, the water rinsing is great, also means heave sweat does not get through
r/Marathon_Training • Headphone recommendations? ->elite 8 active are the most recent, so OP might have better chance of finding them, but Jabras is pretty much fading them out as they are switching to the corporate market. (fucking sucks)
r/Earbuds • Best Gym Earbuds? ->I loved the sound and ANC of the Jabra Elite 8 active, however, no matter which eargel's I used, they constantly fell out of my ears. Currently using the Sennheiser, Momentum 4 TW's and they're working. Still playing with ear gel size and fin (to keep em in your ears) size.
r/Earbuds • The Best Earbuds at the Moment? ->I highly recommend the Jabra Elite 8 Active. I've had them since launch and they've been rock solid. Highly sweat and water resistant and has survived a variety of drops and other typical day-to-day abuse and still look new. Sound quality is excellent imo. I don't go to the gym but run outdoors and work in a busy office and the noise canceling and the volume more than adequate for my needs. Mics are pretty good too for phone calls and meetings making them great all around ear buds.
r/Jabra • Jabra earbud recommendations ->Jabra Elite 8 Active user here! Gamit ko halos 24/7, di lang for running. Super nice ng ANC mode during commute when you just wanna drown out the noise for a while. As a night shift WFH, sobrang useful din pag matutulog na. Maingay kasi dito pag umaga haha. White noise/rain sounds + ANC = peaceful morning sleep. Sa running naman, the best ang hear through mode. Sobrang amazing neto, dinig na dinig mo pa rin surroundings as if walang nakasalpak sa tenga HAHA, all that without compromising audio quality. Naitakbo ko na rin during rain, I even use it while showering, walang problema since it has one of the highest IP ratings for an earbud. The only con I can think of, kapag siguro 1-2 hrs ka na into the run, lumuluwag siya sa ears dahil sa pawis. Pinupunasan ko siya maigi, pati na rin ears, tapos ok na. Hassle lang minsan haha Still worth the money for me 👌
r/PHRunners • Need help good sound quality ear buds for running and cycling ->I've been a big fan of Jabra for a while. The latest I have is the Jabra Elite 8 Active. They are very comfortable, stay in the ear, and sound great. I'm sad that they're exiting the ear buds business but I'll probably pick up another pair and expect they'll last me a while.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Not the same as the Active 8s as not particularly suitable for running or other fitness activities. Jabra are absolute idiots for exiting a section of the market they absolutely dominated.
r/Jabra • What now? What's the next best thing? Comparable earbuds? ->Any of the Jabra Elite Active earbud headphones. They're outstanding for earbuds, stay put, and awesome sound. Often go on 40% sales.
r/crossfit • Any headphones you would recommend? ->Same. I have a bad habit of buying too many headphones. I've repurchased the Jabra Elite Active 8 several times, and gladly come back to them. Originally purchased them for mountain biking, and was blown away they stayed in my ear then entire bumpy ride. Easily stays in place for anything Crossfit.
r/crossfit • Any headphones you would recommend? ->I’ve done through a decent number of pairs for mountain biking and rock climbing, and the Jabra Elite 8 Active have been hands down the best. The fit for me is super secure and they’re so light they don’t really want to fall out. Plus they’re as water resistant as you could reasonably expect from an electronic, so they’re the only bud that hasn’t crapped out after 6 months of biking for me
r/headphones • Headphones that can handle intensive workouts and sweat ->Jabra 8 Active (I think there might be a V2). Used these for every marathon and haven’t failed me yet. Have active noise cancelling so I can use on flights and such, but have a hear through mode to be able to hear surroundings too
r/Marathon_Training • Headphones & In Ears for marathon running ->I would say just get the regular Elite 8 active or Elite 10 Gen 1, since the only real difference between the 2 was the case transmission. If you want the case transmission, then I would highly recommend the LG Tone Free TF8's. The ANC and transparency isnt as good as the Jabra's, but you can find them for about 2\\3's cheaper, so I would say it's worth it to get them.
r/Jabra • Best alternatives to jabra elite 8 active gen 2? ->I was searching similarly here were my considerations : Shokz- open ear bone conduction- however the cheaper ones are proprietary charger. Only the top end is USB C. Can consider if it doesn't bother you Edit: I searched their website and they having promotion now :) Anything from creative is affordable but for me they usually only last up to a year then something goes wrong. Great on a budget though for $100 I think you can get other better bands . I also used Outlier but spoilt easily I used Jabra Active 7 and 8, loved them cos they fit me well but now discontinued :( For all true wireless in-ear earbuds, I don't believe in suggesting any particular brand because all our ears are different. I would say swing by Stereo at Plaza Sing. They recommend and allow you to try different earbuds so you can find that perfect fit. Their pricing is acceptable, can compare with Shopee official brand stores. The salesperson straight up asked me what my budget was before anything. I bought my current earphones there quite satisfied
r/askSingapore • Earbuds recommendation for runnings? ->I've been a big fan of Jabra and always, wrongly, believed that the AirPods could never match the Elite's or the Sony XM. My last Jabra purchase was the Elite 8, which I now only use as a backup. I was shocked at the quality of the AirPods and the fact that they fitted my ears like a glove. I don't think you'll find much better for the price I've only had the opportunity to test the Sony's once, and I'd say stick to the AirPods
r/AppleMusic • Recommendations for Airpods Pro replacement ->You specified head phones I use the Sony xm5s. But I love the jabra elite 8 active ear buds for extended use. Great battery life and rugged allowing you to be exposed to the elements and still use them.
r/BuyItForLife • Bluetooth headphones with good audio quality for every day use ->I heard the Google Pixel Buds Pro2 were very good with NC and especially for noisy environments where you use them for Teams or Zoom meetings. I had Jabra Elite 8 Active and also the Elite 10. Sound quality were about the same , in fact I actually thought the Elite 8 had better bass. I got the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 on sale as an open box version. They are very good. Noise cancelling is for busy rooms is much better. Sound quality for music is on par, though the controls are better in my opinion. Find a pair at BestBuy for their open box or refurbished version and you won't regret it. It's too bad Jabra is getting out of the earbuds business, but they didn't improve their NC for busy rooms and that was their biggest issue in my opinion.
r/Jabra • Best non-Jabra earbuds similar to Elite 8 Active (under $130)? ->Jabra Elite - I went through so many headphones that fell out, I honestly thought my ears were the wrong shape. These were recommended on here and they are amazing.
r/XXRunning • To runners, what are the best headphones for running you've tried or heard of so far? ->This is the answer. If you can get 75ts on ebay go for them! Miss mine so much after four years of heavy use (and were bought second hand anyway) they finally stopped holding a charge.
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->I've been running with the Jabra elite for the last year and a bit, sound quality and battery life are both good.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Jabra Elite 8 Active I use them for bouldering and have no issues with the falling out. They're pretty water resistant, I've (accidentally) sent them through the wash in my pants pocket and they still work just fine.
r/BuyItForLife • The best running headphones? What do you use/recommend right now? ->I spent the last month extensively searching for a new pair of earbuds to replace my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, which I’ve been using for the past year and a half. I tested several top brands and models that reviewers frequently recommend as great overall options, including the Technics AZ80, Sennheiser Momentum 4, and Jabra Elite 8 Active. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with each of them in key categories. My main priorities when it comes to earbuds are, in order: 1. Sound Quality 2. Comfort/Security in the ear 3. Microphone Quality 4. Battery Life 5. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) 6. Case Size \*\*Jabra Elite 8 Active:\*\* I enjoyed wearing these to the gym, but they quickly fell short compared to my previous earbuds. While the Jabra offered better sound clarity than the Soundcore, I would rate their sound quality a 6 out of 10, whereas the Soundcore gets a 7. I didn't feel it was worth testing the other categories further. \*\*Sennheiser Momentum 4:\*\* I’m unsure if I had a defective unit, but I encountered a strange issue with the microphone quality/volume. The ANC would aggressively reduce all sounds coming from the earbuds when there was noise around me. During calls or while listening to a podcast, I found the voices to be much quieter, and even at maximum volume, they were unacceptably low. Also, the soundcore had better microphone quality which was strange. Would expect Sennheiser to do a better job for the price. The sound quality was good, but they felt too aggressive and unbalanced. I typically try to boost mids and highs due to slight hearing loss, but that didn’t work adequately for me. After prolonged use, my ears became fatigued by how the music sounded. Additionally, the case was bulky, and the earbuds were uncomfortable for extended periods, leading me to return them. \*\*Technics AZ80:\*\* These were much better overall. The sound quality was more balanced and warm, with plenty of bass. The Dynamic preset was my favorite, and I almost decided they were worth the investment. Unfortunately, after two weeks of testing, I determined that I needed to keep searching. The main issue was comfort; my ears felt slight discomfort after about an hour of use, which only worsened over time. The battery life was also a bit on the low side when considering the case, but it was still acceptable. Eventually, I came across the Nothing Ear (2024) earbuds, and I am very happy with them so far. In terms of sound quality for me, they are better than the Technics and Sennheiser due to their extensive customizability. I was able to alter the sound to my taste, resulting in the best earbuds I’ve tested and used to date. Initially, the sound was a bit harsh with sound personalization, but I managed to adjust it to my liking. The comfort and security are great, good microphone quality, decent battery life—especially with ANC off and case + a unique and cool design. Great job, Nothing! My sound config for my nothing buds is: Personalized Sound 50% intensity ( Did it at least 10 times). Had to be sure I get the same results after repeated tries. More bass preset and Bass Enhance level 2. PS: After spending more time with the Nothing Ear, I feel that I should also mention the most annoying downsides. \- controls: the lack of swipe up/down for volume.I have to pinch 2 times and hold which is annoying \- bluetooth connection: the connection distance between the phone/laptop and how much I can move around the house without having the call become unstable is smaller than expected. \- case is very sensitive to scratches. it already looks like is been used for 6 months. \- very rarely the connection becomes unstable for 1 sec and reverts back. right now is not enough to bother me but if it happens more often I would be tempted to send them for a warranty check \- sometimes one earbud charges faster than the other. The difference is between 10-15%. If you leave them in the case for enough time they will both reach 100%.
r/Earbuds • Best overall earbud of 2024 (For my particular case) ->I switched from the 75's to 8's and it was a downgrade
r/Earbuds • Best Gym Earbuds? ->Jabra Elite 8
r/BuyItForLife • The best running headphones? What do you use/recommend right now? ->Oh I actually have had this in hear through. Still, I love them. Take em in the sauna always and they do great
r/BuyItForLife • The best running headphones? What do you use/recommend right now? ->Just bought some Friday. Most likely returning them. Call quality is garbage. Pretty much useless for a call. Sound is so quiet/ muffled on them during a call that I can barely hear them. Checked all volume settings and nothing can bring the volume up. Playing music on them is great though. Noise cancellation is the best I have tried so far. Wish I could buy the Jabra elite 8 active earbuds again.
r/bose • Advice on QuietComfort Ultra earbuds ->Jabra 8 Active are the best in the business
r/running • Headphones for glasses wearers ->The best earbuds for working out have silicone tips. The ones without Ala airpods and galaxy buds 3 are not great at all. I use Bose QC Ultra AND Galaxy Buds3 Pro for the gym. Both are comfy and pretty secure. The Bose are better for ANC. Jabra Elite 10 & Elite 8 actives are also very good. Sennheiser Momentum Sport are fairly new and have the added advantage of little wingtips. They also come with a heart rate sensor built in. All the above do have silicone tips though. So without silicone tips u could something like Shokz or Bose Open buds (forget the exact name). Neither will have ANC and wont block out the rubbish background music that most gyms tend to blast out.
r/Earbuds • Best for Working out 2024 ->I love my Jabra Elite 8 Activea. Also, my Jabra 65t works great too.
r/MicrosoftTeams • 2024 Earbud Suggestions for windows/teams? ->Have my 65T Active since 2021 they are working okay but starting to see and experience battery charging issues. Had the Elite 8 Active for a week and returned them because they just keep falling off my ears during intense HIIT workouts. Jabra for me is okay when not working out and they stay on but during workouts like on the treadmill I have to constantly readjust them. Annoying. I also have the jaybird Vistas and they work amazing. Had it the same time I purchased the 65T in 2021 and they are still working perfectly.
r/Jabra • Quality of Jabra headphones ->For running, I would go with Jabra Elite 8 Active if you can find this. I have been using this one for my daily jogging for the past months and it has been superb in all aspects. The ANC is nice, sound quality is very crisp and clear, it lodged into your ear canal comfortably and definitely haven't fallen off my ear in all of my running session so far. It can withstand drop into the water, rough usage and all that. I would say the way Jabra branded this model as "The World's Toughest Earbuds" is not a joke at all. Not to mention, the battery life is a beast too. Worth it in my opinion!
r/Earbuds • Jlab vs JBL (alternatively, best recommended running/workout earbuds) ->I got the Jabra elite 8 active. They are guaranteed to be sweat resistant for at least 2 years. They sound great, are in ear which was a requirement for me and they have soft press buttons instead of touch so sweat doesn't mess with that either.
r/ultrarunning • Sweat proof ear buds? ->Everyone says shocks or bone conducting but personally I can't stand those. I have Jabra elite 8s, great sound, never fall out, and the hear through works great too. Have run 3 half's and 2 fulls, never have ran out of battery provided they are properly charged beforehand.
r/BeginnersRunning • Best earphones for half marathons? ->I have some Jabra elite 8 actives and they are specifically designed to not fall out, and they never have. I had problems before with this and found these and they work great.
r/beginnerfitness • Earbuds or headphones? ->I have the elite 8, I highly recommend
r/C25K • What headphones is everyone using as a new runner? ->same n i 100% agree. i also have Jabra Elite 8 Active, Pixel Buds Pro, Status Between 3ANC, Bowles & Wilkins, it's insane how much better the Epic Labs sound than ALL of those wit a bit of EQ tweaking. they definitely punch above their weight class
r/Earbuds • Best true wireless earbuds atm ->I have these and also came from jabra elite 8 active. For me the ANC and fit was much better on the jabras. I've tried all the different tips and even tried to stretch the ones from my jabras over the JBLs and while I can get a decent seal, it's nowhere near as good as the ones I had on the jabras. Just my anecdotal experience, though. The JBLs definitely have better sound quality and features otherwise, I just work in a noisy environment with my earbuds in basically all day and the jabras were perfect for me.
r/Earbuds • Jabra 8 Elite Active Gen 2s were stolen from me, going insane trying to find worthy replacements, recommendations? (Budget of $200, extending to $250 if necessary) ->Jabra Elite Active 8 are insane. The hear through mode is unreal. I hear cars coming but it somehow blocks the wind noise. Madness. Sound quality is great too. Battery life is brilliant. I won mine in a competition but I’ll be buying a pair once these eventually die
r/Marathon_Training • Best Running Headphones ->I love my Jabra Elite Active 8 - they are fantastic
r/Marathon_Training • Marathon Earbuds Recommendation ->Jabra Elite 8 active, imo there are no better sports earbuds.
r/Earbuds • What are the best all-rounder earbuds? ->I’ve got Jabra Elite Active. Very very good in general, but perfect for trail running / all weather action.
r/BuyItForLife • The best running headphones? What do you use/recommend right now? ->Another vote for Jabra. I’ve been using the Elite Active 8 and they are the best headphones I’ve ever had in terms of durability and quality 🤙
r/running • Headphones for glasses wearers ->Another vote for Jabra elite active 8. I’m also a heavy sweater, I usually give them a nice wipe down once a week and they are still going strong. The sound is quite nice as well 🤙
r/ultrarunning • Sweat proof ear buds? ->Jabra Active Elite 8. I SWEAT a lot and have never had them fall out. Used them on a 50k without having to recharge. Super comfy too, with ANC and hear-through mode
r/ultrarunning • Good earbuds for Trail Running? ->I will add that I’m on my second pair… but only because I left the first pair on my bumper after a run and found them the next day at the TH smashed like a pancake 😂
r/ultrarunning • Good earbuds for Trail Running? ->Jabra Elite 8 Active… but they no longer make them. Once this pair dies, I’ll dabble in the shokz 🤙
r/trailrunning • Runners, what are the best RUNNING headphones currently? ->I run a lot and tested a bunch. For a mix of workouts and daily use, I'd go with the Sony WF-1000XM5 — comfy, great sound, solid ANC, and they stay in place. Jabra Elite 8 Active is also a great pick for sports — super secure fit and durable. Denon PerL Pro has insane sound quality but they're a bit bulkier. Nothing Ear 2 is nice but not ideal for intense movement.
r/Earbuds • What are the current best wireless earbuds? ->I have the Jabra elite 8s. Got them for running. These things do not come out of my ears unless I pull them out. And they’re waterproof. I’m happy with them. The sound isn’t PERFECT but if you want something for running I would say these
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->+1. Have put so many miles on my jabras
r/ultrarunning • Good earbuds for Trail Running? ->I just got some Elite 8s Active on sale. I had previously gone with Bose, but I am such a fan of the earbuds. They're unique texture and great sound was definitely something I wish I would have gotten to experience earlier. I hope they eventually come back into the earbud scene with the new hype behind open earbuds. I will miss them.
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->I use Jabra Active. They're being phased out, so you might be able to get them cheaply. I use both in-ear and active noise cancelation, but they do have hear-through function
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Can attest to the jabra active 8’s for working out… Absolute beasts for running. Simply The best.
r/Earbuds • What are the Best Wireless Earbuds on Reddit? Recommendations and Reviews ->Ant go wrong with the jabra elite 8 active… simply brilliant
r/Earbuds • The Best Bluetooth Earphone Now? ->They don’t sound or even feel open. I think it’s just the bass vent. They’re very comfortable.. they just need better EQ options. I have basically everything, and nowadays I use Airpods 4 ANC (comfort is insane) and Pro 2’s (gym). Oh and Sony Inzone Buds for gaming. The Jabra 8 seem okay, but I find that stem design is too deep.
r/Earbuds • I bought the Technics AZ100, Sony WF-1000XM5, and Bose QuietComfort Ultra. Here’s my review of each ->My Elite Active 8s got destroyed and I was heartbroken. They were the best ear buds I ever had. I replaced the with JBL reflect Aero. Only had them a few days, but so far they do almost everything I want and I have a similar use case as you (though maybe slightly more music use)
r/Jabra • Moving on from Jabra earbuds and would love some help! ->Shockz are popular but I hated mine. Rubbed my ear sore when I wore sunglasses. Sound quality was meh to me. It's good enough but lacks the bass I wanted. Currently using beats fit pro. Has worked just fine for me and I only run with one in at a time. Used several Jabra before and never had an issue with those till the battery would go
r/Marathon_Training • What's the best headphone for running widely loved currently? ->Love my Elite 8 actives
r/trailrunning • Runners, what are the best RUNNING headphones currently? ->What is the warranty like on the Jabra Evolve2 buds? They have a price tag of $364 that is double of what the Jabra 8. I am not opposed to them but for that price i want to make sure they are going to last. I work outdoors, my earbuds get sweaty and dusty almost everyday. I loved the Jabra 8, they were the best earbuds by far that i have ever owned!
r/Jabra • Best non-Jabra earbuds similar to Elite 8 Active (under $130)? ->I use Jabra elite 8. I've had no problems with them. Good sound. They stay in. Water proof.
r/Marathon_Training • Marathon-worthy wireless headphones? ->I have the Elite 8 Active. If you liked the 7 just upgrade to 8. I love them. Never any issues.
r/Marathon_Training • Best running earbuds ->AirPods didn’t work for me because they’re not ideal earbuds for workouts, so I flipped the script: I travel with high-end workout headphones (Jabra Elite 8 Active) which not only work great for the gym, but also casual use and transit. The gen2 model can connect to non-Bluetooth in-flight entertainment for a neat party trick. While the ANC of AirPods Pro is hard to beat, I realized that “good” ANC is truly sufficient a majority of the time and not worth obsessing over. Downside is that Jabra is pulling out of the consumer headphone market, but this headphone is still worth a buy for a few years.
r/onebag • What earbuds/headphones do you use? ->Yep! I sold them. The Jabra have IP68 rating (can survive submersion), a grippy texture and 810H certification (military grade extreme conditions). This is clearly overkill, but it makes for earbuds that can survive pretty much anything. And that’s valuable for a nomad.
r/onebag • What earbuds/headphones do you use? ->I tried Jabra 8, Jabra 10, Sennheiser Momentum 4, Pixel Buds Pro 2 Kept the Pixel Buds Pro 2 Best mix of fit, battery life, ANC Found the Jabra comfy .. ANV good on the 8 but audio quality noticeably dipped when it was on. ANC was bad on the 10 for me. Worse than the 8. Momentum 4 has good ANC. Probably around the same as Buds Pro 2, maybe even better. But they were a bit bulky and prolonged use hurt my ears. Also the case is big, like twice as thick as the others. Annoying to carry around. Buds Pro 2 comfiest, still sound good, ANC good, small case with tracking and speaker etc. Got them for £150 on eBay. Happy with that .. Momentum sound better, but not leagues better for my use.
r/Earbuds • What are the Very Best Earbuds to Buy Now? ->Jabra elite 8 active are the best for the gym in my opinion. Great fit, great sound, waterproof, durability
r/Earbuds • Best Gym Earbuds? ->I went down this path and believe what you are looking for is the Jabra elite 8 active. Jabra is out of the game so buy them while you can
r/Earbuds • Has anyone actually found wireless earbuds that don't hurt for sleeping on your side? ->Get the 8 instead, should fit better than the 10 in small ears.
r/Jabra • Jabra Elite 10 for small ears? ->It's person dependant, I used to run with those exact buds with no issues but bought Shokz after I got my daiths pierced. Gave the jabras to my Dad and he has the thumping problem in one ear
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->I have these also, really like the hear through and tactile buttons.
r/GooglePixel • What earbuds are you guys using with your Pixel? ->I have Jabra 8 Active for running and have Sony xm5 for home use. I am a very sweaty, sub-8 minute marathon runner and have had no issues with fit, sound, or degradation over time. Sony xm5 have foam ear tips which I imagine would get nasty and break from repeated moisture exposure. Really hoping to find a solid Jabra replacement now that they are discontinued.
r/Earbuds • Earbuds for a runner. Is the wf-1000xm5 a good choice? ->Jabra Elite Active 8, got them as a substitute for 7, the 7 were great, 8 is even better
r/Marathon_Training • Best running earbuds ->Two Jabra Elite 8 Actives failed on me back to back after a handful of months with minimal usage. Customer service is horrific to boot and will fight tooth and nail to avoid honouring their warranty. Stay away
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Two elite 8 actives failed on me back to back. I would stay clear of the brand. They do stay in your ear when they're actually working though
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Yes defective products definitely happen, but that's when the quality of customer support gets tested. Unfortunately Jabra's support is shockingly bad. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor by replacing my first defective piece that was dead on arrival. After the second one shorlty failed they threw their hands up and said a 32% discount is the best they can do for me. A 32% discount on another defective item? No thanks
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->Jabra elite 8 are pretty fabulous. Got them during a black Friday sale last year, highly recommend.
r/XXRunning • What are some good Running Headphones you'll recommend buying right now? ->The Jabra Elites 8 is pretty good
r/Earbuds • Any earbuds better than Sony LinkBuds S for call quality in the budget-mid range? ->I have the jabra elite 8 actives; their ‘hear through mode’ is pretty good where you can still hear your environment but still tune into whatever you’re listening to. Pretty decent ear fit (for me at least) and fairly sweat resistant. Only issue like you mentioned in your post is when you’re cruising anywhere above like 20mph you’ll get the wind sound effect.
r/cycling • Best headphones for road cycling ->I’ve got the Jabra Elite Active 8. They’re awesome and they can be used while swimming as well. However they are prone to falling out while doing HSPU or jumping (ie. DU). Not every time but it tends to happen.
r/crossfit • Any headphones you would recommend? ->My Jabra earbuds ( 75t active and active 8)stay in place no matter what. Rarely I need to give them a slight nudge back in but they will 'ever fall out even if I don't.
r/trailrunning • Best headphone solution found ->These are the best earbuds I've ever owned. They stay in my ears at the gym no matter what I do when every other ear buds fall out!
r/GooglePixel • What earbuds are you guys using with your Pixel? ->Like the jabra active elite?? That’s what I use, never noticed this, I’m assuming just with hear through on? Cause no way u can hear footsteps with anc on… I’m goin out in a couple hours, gonna try and take more notice
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Ya not sure I went for a run tonight and tried listening for it but I don’t get this issue with mine, wind noise is real though..
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->For me, it is Jabra, unfortunately! I recently lost my Jabra Active 8 and found on the Jabra site that you can order replacement buds from the accessories tab, they only had the newer version but I found out they work with my older charging case, you might get lucky as well, just double check that the newer earbuds can be charged in your case (assuming your case is still fine?)
r/Marathon_Training • Best running earbuds ->I lost one of my Jabra Elite 8s last week :( Replaced with Sony WF1000XM5 and like them so far. The slightly lower IPX rating rating means my torrents of sweat will ruin them in 9-12 months like everything else before my Jabras :(
r/Jabra • Best alternatives to jabra elite 8 active gen 2? ->I run about 60 miles a week and have been for several years now, I have went through no less than 30 pair of earbuds in my time running. Shokz are for sure the best, I like the pair that are 2 separate earbuds that wrap around the back of your ear. Outside of Shokz, Jabra would be my second choice.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->I didn’t like the Jabras for running because of the thumping sound of running seemed to amplify in them.
r/BuyItForLife • The best running headphones? What do you use/recommend right now? ->Brother if you want to go with earbuds for running and working out that offer a secure fit I’d recommend you the Jabras. They fit very securely without fatiguing your ear, has a great sound quality and good anc. Battery life is great too. I have the elite 8 actives for over a year now and have no issues as such. Ticks all the boxes.
r/Earbuds • what are some good earbuds with a secure fit in the ear? ->Jabra Elite 8 Actives. Bought mine at the beginning of the year. I run with them, I work out with them, I take calls on them, I use them when gaming and on discord calls as well as VR. They have active noise canceling and passthrough. Battery life is great, and they are quite comfortable. Just make sure to clean the charging contacted every now and then.
r/BuyItForLife • Noise canceling headphones and ear buds ->Jabra all the way I had the 7 elite, 7 pro and now the 8's and they all fit amazingly.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->I think I found a pair I am actually quite happy with: The sony wf-c700n. They are small, fit well and they stay in without any ear pain for at least 2 hours before I get ear fatigue (which is better than pain). Passive isolation is on par. ANC is very good in quiet environments, "meh" in noisy ones. When you aren't playing music voices are just muffled down but you can clearly hear them. Transparancy mode is fine for me. You hear some white noice in the background in a silent place, but that doesn't bother me much Sound quality: I am not the right person to judge this one. I am no audiophile and almost always use low volume settings. It sounds fine for me. A piano doesn't sound shrill, but has a rich and balanced tone. But depending on eq settings you also get a decent bass. What I like best is your lusic/video doesn't pause when you pull one earbud out. I am not a fan of that setting on most earbuds, but I'm propably the minority😂. If you look at online reviews (reddit, youtube, soundguys, rtngs...) they rank far from premium buds, look cheap (in comparison to top tier buds, they do, not gonna lie), haven't the greatest batterylife jaddajadda. But they work for me and I'm okay with that. I bought a pair at a really great price of 65 euros in my local electronic store. For some miracle reason I was also able to get my hands on a brand new jabra elite 8 active pair. In terms of comfort they are the GOAT. Still testing them out to compare these to the sony's. I will keep you updated.
r/Earbuds • Wireless earbuds that have the samsung AKG fitting? ->I just use my running earbuds, Jabra active elite 8s. They stay in place well and if you wear gloves not mitts you can press the earbud through the helmet padding to pause/skip/change to hear through mode etc
r/Skigear • Best ear buds for skiing? ->Elite 8 Actives here for the last year. I love the sound (I'm a musician) and the fit and ANC is great. Plus I can connect to multiple devices and they stay in at the gym.
r/onebag • What earbuds/headphones do you use? ->Jabra elite 8 active! Keeps wind noise away and stays put. Also crazy long battery life.
r/cycling • Best headphones for riding a bike? -yes i know i need to hear traffic etc- ->If you like a deep in-ear fit with a balanced sound profile, I’d recommend Jabra Elite 8 Active. For me, these and only these fit the best and are comfortable for long term use. The case and the buttons don’t feel too durable, but they do hold up well over normal day to day use.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->Jabra Elite 8 Active. I love them. They never fall out, they have both noise canceling and hear-through functionality. The app also gives you a hearing test to ensure that the earbuds are customized to your hearing, which is awesome. They sound really good for earbuds, too.
r/jacksonville • Recommendations for wireless ear buds for running. ->I have owned Jabra earbuds for like the last 5 years when they had the Elite 75t. I’ve owned those and the Elite Active 75t both They were both amazing but the Active 75t were the best earbuds I’ve ever owned hands down. I tried the Elite 8 and holy hell what a POS compared to the 75t. They’re becoming Apple by trying to make pretty colors and “adding technology” to make them “sound better”. Adding technology in this case means skimping out on driver size and build material quality. They also have practically no bass... so underwhelming. I really wish whoever decided to come in and make the changes would just stop. Oh yea, the fit sucks too especially after you even slightly break a sweat.
r/Earbuds • Which buds to buy with great fit ->Jabra active 8s are awesome if you want something that sounds great and will stay in your ears when you exercise. I'm sure the newer galaxy buds are really good too, but the jabras are 100x better sound quality than my original galaxy buds.
r/samsunggalaxy • Earphone recommendations ->Jabra Elite 8 active version. I run (pavement and trail) and oly lift with these. Never had an issue with them coming out. They nearly always feel locked in too. The active noise cancelling is nice as well, but sometimes the higher frequencies will sneak through. For example, taking a collar off of the bar very quickly. They're also water proof.
r/weightlifting • Any wireless earbuds recommendations? ->I have the Elite 8's (not Gen 2) and it can be turned off. It has an option on the app for the low battery warning to be voice, tone or "off". I can get 8 hours with ANC only- but the ANC is not that great. I have a loud aircon that vibrates through the walls and its still faintly audible with ANC only. However, with a low volume audio track it disappears completely- but battery life is reduced.
r/Earbuds • Need ANC earbuds with 8+ hours battery life and ability to disable low battery warning ->Jabra elite 8 active. I really like them. They stay in, have pretty good sound quality, ANC, hear through, last long and you can rinse them with water.
r/Marathon_Training • Headphone recommendations? ->The Jabras are my favorite ear buds I’ve ever had.
r/cycling • Need good sound quality headphones cycling and running ->Any Jabra Gen 2. You'll thank me later
r/Earbuds • Suggestions for earbuds with long battery time and general comfortable fit? ->I have Elite 10 and Gen 2. I have others too but I am always looking for places sellling Gen 2 to stock up if my current ones fail. I use my Gen 7s for work, mostly to spare the life of my Gen 10s. I have tried all manner of other headphones and nothing beats the Elites for my use cases.
r/Jabra • Quality of Jabra headphones ->Yeah also fan of the Jabra Active, I’m using for but wanna upgrade to 8.
r/Marathon_Training • Marathon-worthy wireless headphones? ->Jabra active have been really good for me.
r/kettlebell • Do it all earbuds which can stay in doing KB workouts ->I have had a pair of Jabra active earbuds for almost 6 years and going strong. I commute 9 miles on my bicycle each day in the Florida and they are going strong.
r/BuyItForLife • Noise canceling headphones and ear buds ->I sweat profusely and killed every set of “water resistant” earbuds I got until my wife (then girlfriend) purchased me a set of jabra active 2. They have worked for nearly 3 years now with no issues or discomfort.
r/ultrarunning • Sweat proof ear buds? ->The best and most reliable earphones I have are the JLAB GO POP+. I've used them in extreme cold and heat, they've gone through the washer and dryer, and the charge lasts forever. They cost $25 and sound better than almost every more expensive pair I've owned. Runner up would be Jabra Elite Active series for me, but I've killed too many of them with sweat and they cost like 4x the price. To be fair, they always replace them under warranty, but it'd be cool if they didn't break instead. We need to stop pretending Shokz sound anything remotely adjacent to "good." They do not. They serve a purpose, and if that purpose serves you, great, but they do not sound objectively "good" in any sense of the concept as it relates to listening music in the real world. IOW, if you bought any other product to listen to while not running and it sounded like Shokz, you'd assume it was broken.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->Missed this comment before I mentioned the same ☝️☝️. Jabra is discontinuing them for God knows why because they are great
r/ultrarunning • Sweat proof ear buds? ->Jabra elite actives are awesome!
r/trailrunning • Runner friends, headphones for running that you love? ->Been with various Jabra Elite Active for years. The best. So disappointed they are stopping production.
r/trailrunning • Runners, what are the best RUNNING headphones currently? ->I love my Jabra elite actives. Also if you like music with heavy bass these absolutely rip. Also they’ve never fallen out of my ears while being active - they actually turn off when they’re almost accidentally wiggled loose after a long intense training sesh. Highly recommend these!
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->Jabra Elite Actives are just all round #1 by multiple running reviewers and I have had 3 versions of them over last few years...great sound...ANC...8 hours battery in use on the latest version...sweat resistant hold via the type of rubber on the buds. Water/sweat proof. Problem is they are discontinueing the line :(
r/running • What earbuds do you use while running? ->I had a pair of Jabra Elite Active’s, but one day I lost a bud while running.. After that I opted for the Soundcore X20’s. They work great for running.
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->I struggle with the same. I have tried ear plugs under ANC headphones, but even the most blocking plugs (35 dB is the highest I have found here), and an expensive headphone, do not block all sound (not even my coworkers laughing and discussing). My best solution so far has been ANC earbuds under ANC headphones.. So double ANC.. I have Jabra Active Elite earbuds, and Sony quite-expensive-something headset. Even this do not give complete silence in the open office plan, but it's quite close to it. In-ear ANC plugs do a lot more for me than ANC over-the-ear headphones. The headphones alone hardly helps at all..
r/productivity • Best non-music noise cancelling headphones or earmuffs? ->Sadly jabra killed the elite active line. They're so good!
r/cycling • What earbuds to get? ->Jabra elite active. They have noise canceling and hear through.
r/beginnerrunning • Which headphones do you use for RUNNING? ->Jabra Elite active is what I use occasionally. They have "hear through mode" that allows me to hear outside noise while I am riding. I haven't had anyone mention background noise when talking on them. My issue with talking and riding is being out of breath and trying to talk at the same time 🤣
r/bikecommuting • Best Headset for Calls While Bike Commuting? ->jabra elite actives have always stayed in my ears when hitting a bag, shadowboxing, running, ect. Personally never have had them fall out when exercising.
r/martialarts • Earbuds that stay in my ears when working a heavy bag ->Absolutely agree! I don’t even have problems doing double unders with them
r/crossfit • Any headphones you would recommend? ->Agreed, I love mine. They have physical buttons instead of "touch" buttons - so important.
r/trailrunning • What are the best wireless earbuds ? ->Jabra earbuds (Active version) are the best for running and other outdoor workouts. I have been using Jabras for over 5 years now. Before that I had struggled with many different brands.
r/running • Headphones for glasses wearers ->I love the Jabra elite actives, but sadly they were discontinued
r/trailrunning • Runner friends, headphones for running that you love? ->I try to avoid the speakers, you will put them too loud and damage your hearing. I was very happy with my Jabra elites, but lost them all. Replaced by anker soundcore buds.
r/motorcyclegear • Noise canceling earbuds vs Bluetooth in helmet speaker???? ->I’ve been using some jabra elite noise canceling earbuds when I ride for the last few years. They sound great and block a lot of wind noise. I lost one today. Now I’m not sure what to do. I can buy a replacement bud, a new set of earbuds, or switch to a helmet speaker and wear ear plugs. Looking for input from people who’ve used both earbuds and a speaker/plugs combo.
r/motorcyclegear • Noise canceling earbuds vs Bluetooth in helmet speaker???? ->I had the Ip7 and as a truck driver they had about a 3hr battery life after 1 year they had some troubles connecting once in a while or one wouldn't turn on the driver. 2yrs in and the batter life was down to about 2 hrs on a full charge. Year 3 they died before we got there the left one stopped being loud and wouldn't match the volume of the right one just after the 2nd year mark. So longevity wise they were not the ticket. This all said I can't find head phones that would match the sound quality I got from them. The senheisser true wireless 1 and 2 were good but not better, Jabra elite 7 are ok but still not better? Beat studio buds plus I find to be very very underwhelming and would take the Jabra over them. Looking into the sonys or the bang and olfsen ones not sure what to do either. I use headphones for up to 12 hrs a day so I am hard on them and have killed multiple different ones.
r/Earbuds • Best earbuds to buy 2025 ->What about just best noise cancellation? Sound quality is good obviously but I find that ANC is probably my most important feature. I have a set of Jabras and One Plus 3. The Jabras seems to have better ANC. Can’t remember the exact Jabras I have but something something elite, they were like $130 a year and a half ago.
r/Earbuds • Which earbuds are you using or which do you believe is the best and why? ->By working out do you mean some weightlifting or more cardio stuff where you are actively moving around a lot? Or even Crossfit or something? Difference will be how much you need a pair that will need to really really stay put. My thing is more powerlifting, so its not a big deal for me I can wear pretty much any bud apart from on the bench and they wont move. So it expands choice a bit, but I do look for dust and water rating because weight lifting chalk. More movement I would say look at Jabra Elite
r/Earbuds • Best ear buds for working out ->Jabra elites are incredible. On my second pair and they've lasted at least 2 years now.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->1. Research this stuff online, compare and contrast your options 2. Google the exact model(s) you want/are interested in + Bangkok 3. Go to the store(s) that stock those model(s) I went with Jabra Elites
r/Bangkok • Which mall / electronic shop is best to browse for sports ear buds ->I have a horrible track record with electronics, and yet mine lasted years, and they didn't die, I just lost them
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->Jabra elite. Love it for running (snug) and ANC feature. Price point is reasonable.
r/GooglePixel • What earbuds are you guys using with your Pixel? ->Used to own Jabra elite but they are not in market anymore. Seinheiser MTW4 is good too
r/askSingapore • Looking for recommendation for good sound quality and anc wireless earbuds below 200SGD ->My experience was that they were great when they worked - but reliability was always pretty bad, and they wouldn't last more than 12-18 months at ost.
r/Jabra • Jabra to EXIT consumer space in 2024 (No more Elite wireless earbuds and headphones) ->100%, I've struggled with finding a balance for good music, ANC, and comfort. Air pods are the GOAT IMO. I've had probably 4 different pairs of JBLs that work great but don't last long. Either the dust gets to them or the case stops charging the buds even when clean. I'm currently using Jabra Elites that are honestly great, though I wish they stayed in my ears better when I'm in weird positions. Edit: adding that I do not care about industry standards, my job isn't OSHA involved and has no actual safety standards enforced.
r/MilwaukeeTool • Anyone tried these ear buds? ->Honestly, given how often I lose earbuds and the battery issues, I stopped buying earbuds for longevity. I decide upon a price range and go with a company I recognise. My best pair has been a Jabra Elite. Unfortunately it seems they got rid of buttons. I hate how every company just releases update after update, with lessening improvements and higher prices.
r/BuyItForLife • Need a reliable pair of earbuds that won't die on me. ->Not at all, it's better to buy jabra elite Cheaper and more comfortable
r/SonyHeadphones • Are the WF-1000XM5’s worth it?? ->Jabra is really good in a lot of ways but the poor codec support is a dealbreaker if you have Android. They sound like garbage with the older codecs. The ANC is also maybe 20% as good as the QC Ultra
r/Earbuds • The best noise cancelling earbuds Right Now? Recommendations? ->I think I want these earphones. I've heard Isotunes suck, and some of the well recieved OSHA compliant earphones are stupid expensive so $220 ain't bad. I used to use Jabra Elites which I really liked, but using them while running a stump grinder made crazy loud and annoying feedback the whole time. I read that these headphones are very good with their ANC but I just wanna know if I can run a circular saw while using these and how well they will work for my residential contracting work? Thank you!
r/bose • Anybody use the quitecomfort ultra ear buds for construction? ->I'm a huge fan of the Jabra Elite I got on Amazon for around $60, they were on sale to boot.
r/Earbuds • What do I buy???? Best earbuds in 2025?? ->Had airpods 2, today was my first training with airpods 4 anc. Everything sits in place. I don’t have pro version, because my ears don’t like that silicone thing. And i had jabra elite previously, and earbuds falled of during walking.
r/weightlifting • Any wireless earbuds recommendations? ->Agreed, you have to try several and pick a style that works for you. For me, the absolute best fit for my ears are the Samsung Buds Live, but they are the only ones that make that shape. The worst shape for me are the Jabra Elite / Sony WF-1000XM5 style that stick out way far from your ears. Never understood why they are designed to be so far outside your ear. Like you could never wear them with a bike or motorcycle helmet.
r/Earbuds • Best Earbuds you can purchase on amazon under $150? ->I did research relying on shitty top 10 lists, and invested in Jarva elite earbuds. I can thoroughlly recommend avoiding the brand entirely. A productthat bad doesnt come from a good company.
r/BuyItForLife • A good quality pair of bluetooth earbuds ->I have the Jabra Elite with ANC and find it’s decent. Not complete noise cancellation but good enough.
r/newzealand • Best brand of ear buds? ->Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.
r/Earbuds • The most recommended wireless earbuds on Reddit (r/Earbuds vs others comparison) Jan 2025 ->I saw Bone conductor headphones at Costco and I need a new pair they didn't have a display so i never bought them. I mostly use earbuds in the gym. I have Jabre elites right now but they are like 4 years old and the right speaker is almost out completely Not sure how I am supposed to buy newish tech without ever trying them before.
r/AskMenOver30 • What’s a good Bluetooth headset for someone who takes a lot of calls during the day? ->Agree with that I had to get my Elite replaced 3 times within warranty period and I always get complaints from people I call that the call is extremely noisy (usually doing house chores and stuff...) which led me to this post haha
r/Earbuds • What are the best Earbuds for comfort + call quality? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
