Same, I have a pair of Endurance 3 that I have specifically for the gym, was able to get them through the employee rewards program at work. Only time they fall out is if I’m using the decline bench.

The Tour 3, really? Im gearing more towards the Endurance Peak 3, personally. Although, it may be just because i prefer the secure feel of the earhooks...

Unfortunately, my 2nd gen airpods can’t hold a charge for long runs anymore, so I just got bmani wireless headphones with ear hooks and they’re awesome. Currently $27 on amazon and there’s a QR code that lets you sign up for a life time warranty. Before that I got JBL endurance peak 3’s and TWICE they broke down on me and I paid probably triple the price. I just feel that with running headphones they get beat up so much by sweat that I’m not willing to spend top dollar anymore. Just give me something that stays put, sounds good, and can hold a charge. Highly recommend those bmani’s (so far).

You mentioned you are a runner. Im also a runner and i have some experience to share too. I just took a look at those Jabras. I think those would not stay in my ears during a run. Once i begin sweating, the sweat would lubricate them and they probably would fall off. I had bought a pair of soundcore sport x20 to use for my runs. They were nice and had consistent sound throughout my running but sweat would lubricate them and make them fall off. The hook they put on them is not sturdy enough. They should have retained the hook they had on the soundcore spirit x2. The JBL endurance peak are also not good for running but not because of the hook but because they are unable to handle sweat. Once i sweat, trouble starts with bass disappearing from the left earbud and then the volume lowers itself on the left earbud such that i now get imbalanced sound. Then later on, the other earbud also lowers it's volume and loses the bass. They later return to their original sound once im done running and they have dried up. For this reason, i retired them from running and i now use them like a normal non sport earbuds. That being said, i still love their sound especially the punchy bass. They beat even the soundcores. Anyways, I later resorted to using a cheap pair of chinese earbuds called Dacom athlete. They are the only ones i have had that do not fall off and their sound never changes even when i sweat. They also have a 20hour battery life.

I’m a heavy sweater and have taken out a few pairs of earbuds in a similar way. My current JBL Endurance Peak IIIs have been working a treat for me through all seasons. They’re IP68, so dust proof and can be submerged in shallow water. Sound quality is great with solid bass, battery life is good (10 hours from memory), and the ear hooks on them mean they stay in place when you’re moving and you can still wear sunglasses and hats with them (at least I’ve been able to no worries). They’re comfortable enough that I’ve worn them for runs up to five hours and not had them bother me at all.

I think the main thing is some people like the ear hooks and some people don’t. Earbuds fall out of my ears otherwise so I’m all about the hooks 🤣

I’m a runnner/lifter and work outside (physical job), these didn’t last me more than two months before messing up from sweat! Edit: they have nice speakers though

yo, any thoughts on JBL Tune Core and JBL Endurance Peak 3? I got both for free through work, and I LOVE them both. The Endurance Peak 3's have better bass than my Airpod Pro 2s

JBL peak 3. They have ear hooks so they stay in place and they don’t have the charging/connectivity issues that the Powerbeats pro always have

Hard disagree. I have those currently for running, and they are ok. But there are way better sounding buds. Especially at OPs price point.

I just got a pair of the Shokz open run pro 2 and I can’t imagine using an in ear again for runs or workouts. I had the Jaybird vistas and JBL endurance peaks, but went through 3 pair of the jaybirds along with 2 of the JBLs for various issues. I’d buy the shokz again.

I use the JBL endurance peak and they are great. They have the hook that goes around your ear to help hold it.

I don't remember which ones I have. 3 I think but if I have 2, they've never dissatisfied me in any way that would prompt an upgrade. 🙂

I like JBL Endurance series. I am not sure exactly what the range is, but I wear them around my good sized yard when I pick up dogshit, with the phone on a table or even inside the house.

If you don't wanna do shokz, I've had really good luck with JBL endurance. I sweat a ton and they stand up to it. I can usually find refurbs for $50-$60, which feels pricey for solely running earbuds, but so is burning through $20 a month in cheapies.
