I'm a huge audio nerd. I have a relatively large headphone collection and I have to say, these are pretty great. The stock sound is nothing to write home about, but it's amazing how well these respond to EQ. The comfort is also top notch and I'm surprised they never fall out of my ears. I do wish there were more third party ear tip makers so I could make them feel a little more secure, but they feel secure enough. Having LDAC is a massive selling point. The only knock I can think of sound wise is that the high frequencies are a little pitchy and don't have the best extension. With that being said, these are 200 dollar Bluetooth earbuds so this is a great buy in my book

I do. I use JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds. They cancel out the sound of the bike almost entirely. Only issue is the “whoop” “whop” sound from the pulsating wind changing pressure constantly and the headphones trying to compensate. I also use to use the cheaper JBL 230 NC headphones, which honestly sound better to me, but the Live Beam 3 noise cancellation is more absolute.

I use the blue tiger advantage plus. Battery is outstanding, I think I charge it like once a month. No issues being heard. Sound quality sucks but it’s a phone call so who cares. That being said, I’ve tried AirPods, soundcore liberty 4 pro, JBL buds and beam 3s, Bose quiet comfort buds…. JBL had the best sound quality but they all SUCK at phone calls and battery life. Honestly just stick headsets. The boom mic is what is crucial for us in the truck.

I got lucky and received them early. They were meant to be released in Europe end of May but are not showing anywhere via jbl or amazon sites which is odd. 9nly a few European and UK youtubers have them but most of their reviews have been basic apart from the UK youtuber what gear ( he was also a fan of thd live pro 2) Basically the live beam 3 is the successor to the live pro 2.. I think if I remember rightly when I used to have the live pro 2, I had to adjust the sound on them to get it how I like it ( and they do sound good) But with the beam the default is great, oddly they come with the eq turned off. I switch between studio and bass profiles currently. I didn't bother with the personal eq yet as I had poor results when I tested the same feature with the tour pro headphones. Spatial audio is also not great imho but it's there if u want it and easy to activate via thd case When comparing to the live pro 2 I can safely say that the anc and transparency are both imrproved. Control customisation is still a little limited but it's more than enough. I really like the speak to chat feature and first few tests show it to be very reliable so far. For the private mode I will check again, I think I may have just automatically assumed it was for a special earbud only as that is how LG implemented it.. I'll double check later and get bsck to you on that. The only thing jbl lacked was high res codec support and now we have it.. But unfortunately I'm not even using ldac and I still like the sound... I've not used the airpods or mtw but I would say they are really close to the Technics. The technics have a more natural transparency mode though but the single tap gesture on the jbl is a quicker interaction making switching modes more seamless with the jbl. These could be bargain of the year.. I'm very happy so far with them Let me know if u have any other questions I'll try and get images up later too.

About the same from memory. I thought live pro 2 call quality was good, but it didn't block much background noise. Same with beam 3. It blocks noise when u are not speaking but once you start the background noise still comes through. There is a new whisper/private chat mode that I'll have to test as well though.

These are still solid for calls but the best I've used in noisy environments are the huawei freebuds pro 3. Elite 10 are pretty good too 👌 but the Freebuds Pro 3 literally silences the background whilst still allowing your voice to come through. The jbl live beam 3 also has the most customisation in regard to calls I've even seen in buds. Adjust hearthrough, mute in call using case, adjust how the person on the other end sounds and adjust how you sound as well. Solid job by jbl

Very little difference apart from case. Slightly better anc on beam and better overall sound but mics and transparency mode feels about the same.

Honestly I hate the case. It's always activating in my pockets. I wish there was a way to lock the case. The novelty of the case quickly wears off. Call quality is good and the whisper mode works pretty well but I want to do a full comparison with lgs whisper mode. I'll try them both tomorrow. I dotn care much for spatial audio either but at least the jbl version is improved from whst they had before.. It was an echo chamber mess last time 😂 now it's usable

Hello, I just bought the beam 3 and the calls are really bad in noisy environments. Do you think they would improve with the AirPods Pro or would it be the same? Thank you

JBL live series ( live buds 3, live beam 3) have the sound and comfort. I think you would be very pleased. I’m an audiophile listener, bass head, loud music sometimes, and I think these are awesome.

The case should just be a charging case. The wireless charging option is legit, but I could do without the rest. Touchscreen, etc. Especially when everything can be done through the app. Aside from that, these are absolutely fantastic! I use buds mostly for music, movies, and podcasts. Calls when I feel like answering, lol. Overall, they sound much better than the under Armor flash X that unfortunately they met their demise when one got ran over. I had those for 4 years without any issues besides comfort. However, they'd start hurting my ears after 3 or 4 hours. They also started to lose battery life but nothing to complain about after 4 years of heavy use. When it came to buying another set of jbls, I wasn't skeptical. Hell, I was going to buy the flash x's again lol. Those were 250 when I bought them. I found the live beam 3's on sale on Amazon for 129! Donesky bro! For the price, I don't think I'd find better.

I kinda came to the conclusion that the mid priced range is good enough, considering they don't seem to last all that long. Just got some JBL live 3 , I'm really happy with them they sound great

If you want in ear, earbuds JBL Beam, Tribit Flybuds, JLab Jbuds line, Sony c 510 are good. Earfun is good too: Earfun Air 2 or Earfun Air Pro 4.
