I just bought the jbl flex tune 2 for $60 on bestbuy and they’re great open earbuds with ANC or you can shut it off and great sound for price. Also bought the sennheiser accentum open for $120 which are crispier and more comfortable than the jbl but no ANC. Better for calls and office work than music. So I kept both. Decided on these over the AirPod 4 to replace my AirPod 2

My old ass has always kinda been anti- wireless headphones (technically anti wireless everything) because it just seems like a way for a company to force you to repurchase something once the battery eventually craps out, or worse... When you lose a single earbud 🤦 BUT as bluetooth and batteries (kinda) have gotten more reliable, I decided over black Friday to grab some JBL Tune Flex 2 from Amazon that were on sale for like $50. They don't sound bad, and actually I was really impressed with how good they actually sounded for $50🤷. I have a few minor gripes with them, but again, they were cheap. I keep seeing EarFun pop up as another sub $100 pair, but am curious if there is a noticeable jump in quality (especially regarding the mics for calls/discord /streaming) Curious if anyone has any experience with them?

Hey! Didn't say I was the oldest lol... I turn 47 next week, which I guess kinda makes me that last generation that grew up with fairly reliable and long lasting analog tech... I ended up going down this rabbit hole when I realized the JBL's don't support any high-res codecs (but they do have a larger, albeit single driver which I think is why they sound as punchy as they do) Thanks for the feedback!

Hey! From my personal experience, I love the JBL Tune flex 2. In the past I had the 1st version of this and didn’t like the ear tips, they weren’t comfortable at all, the sound was good ngl but sometimes 1 of the earbuds didn’t connect or doesn’t played music at all. I recently bought the Flex 2 and everything change. The ear tips for me are much better, I have the perfect size for my ears which in the past version were all bad for me, the sound is much more consistent and sounds better, it has personify 2.0, spatial sound ( 🤌🤌) and the battery life is longer. In terms of latency, in the first model I fell that it had some delay with what I was watching and the sound I was listening too, but in this one it’s almost instant ( for me is a S tier spec ). If you have any questions or doubts about it feel free to ask

Hey there! The jbl tune flex 2 fits perfectly in my ears, I already used them for around 8h and if you put them correctly they won’t fall out. In the previous version they kept constantly trying to fallout ( I think because of the ear tips not being the best for my ears, they were prone to do it ) For me, as a person who never tried AirPods, the flex 2 have a good build quality, in comparison with the flex 1, I thought that they are much more elegant and aesthetic, the flex 1 seems a bit plastic, didn’t like much the build One more thing I can add to this, the case quality improved a lot for me, the opener is much better and controlled and it looks better than the 1st one

I am using them for around 3 months and i can take some conclusions: Pros: \-Sound Quality - the first thing that i observed from the first time was the clarity in them, there are some high-pitched sounds that in some earphones just "crack" or the earphones can´t supply the sound from the musics, but, this ones can provide them at all. The bass is good with moderate-higher volumes, lower ones you can feel the bass but not that much. \- Battery time - i used them every single day for around 2h in public transports and i only charge them almost every 3-4 weeks, i dont need to be worried about battery because they have a durable battery time. \- Noise reduction / canceling - they can isolate pretty well the sound with the integrated silicone ear tips, which can create an environment to listen to the musics you play,; obviously in some more loudy places you need to increase the volume to reduce the gap but in overall they supress well the exterior sounds ( for people that are picky / experienced with this type of experiments probably would say worse, in my personal use i can´t complain much about them) Cons: Pairing - sometimes i connect them through bluetooth, they pair but the sound doesn´t work, i recconect them and it starts working (maybe a minor bug or somethin Summing up, for this price range i picked this ones because they are reletively new in the market, have some specs like personifi, spatial audio that the majority don´t have and they are really well looking and comfortable, they don´t fall out like the flex1 and are well built.

I have the Blue Parrot 650 and haven't had any issues. Did you download the app and update the headset? Sometimes those updates resolve issues. I also keep the JBL Tune Flex 2 earbuds with me. I prefer the earbuds out of the truck instead of walking around with the big headset on.
