Not worth it, mid sound quality, no ANC, no companion app or EQ, and the case is just a case, not a charger. For the price you can get better. Hell, the jbl vibe beam 2 has ANC, an actual charging case, arguably better audio quality, considerably better build quality, a companion app with an 8 band customizable EQ and they’re even less expensive at $49.99 USD.

JBL wave beam 2 wins on battery and comfort, they last 10 hours and are significantly smaller and lighter than the sound core. But the sound core win at almost everything else, minus the app experience, the JBL wins there too. Sound quality and ANC are better on sound core. Fit is subjective so nobody but you can answer that.

I love Beats Studio Buds. Great sound quality and noise cancelation. You can also use the Transparency Mode if you want to hear the surroundings. I also used JBL Vibe Beam and loved them. You can check my review [here](https://www.audiobooksgeek.com/best-earbuds-for-audiobooks/) for details.

I love Beats Studio Buds (option 3 [here](https://www.audiobooksgeek.com/best-earbuds-for-audiobooks/)). Sound quality and noise cancelation are amazing. I love the Transparency Mode for outdoor use. It comes with 3 sizes of ear tips so you can choose the ones that are comfortable for you. I also like JBL Vibe Beam. So I will choose between Beats Studio Buds or JBL Vibe Beam.

I usually stick one of my JBL vibe beam earbuds in when working at the bench. I can still hear ambient noise/lab mates in my other ear but they’re pretty good quality. Catch them on sale and they’re around your budget I think!

OnePlus Buds 4, hands down. Their sound quality (with a custom EQ in their app) is absolutely amazing. Add to that the excellent ANC and transparency mode and don’t forget the great battery life. They’re lightweight and comfortable for 4+ hours of listening. There’s a reason why they’re on many reviewers lists for “Best Earbuds of 2025”. It really does give the total package. I even own the Soundpeats H3, Moondrop Robin, Moondrop Golden Ages 2, and JBL Vibe Beam, and the OnePlus Buds 4 easily stands on top of them all and shares the #1 spotlight with the Soundpeats H3. The OnePlus Buds are the better all around earbuds though, for sure.

Yeah that’s a big miss. Those are fantastic earbuds. That’s coming from someone who also has the Soundpeats H3, Moondrop Robin, Moondrop Golden Ages 2, JBL Vibe Beam, TOZO NC4, and OnePlus Buds 4. The OPB4 are the best all around buds out of all of these. Great sound quality, great ANC/transparency modes, great battery life, and even great mic quality.

JBL Vibe-Beam … they were on sale on Amazon for $35.99 (reg price around $55.99) Pretty satisfied. No where near as good as my old AirPod Pro set, but for the price, they sound good. If you’re looking for a good deal for the price, jump on these. If you’re looking for really fuckin bangin pro sound quality, I’d go for another tier higher.
