What’s your budget looking like? ANC isn’t directly linked to price, like idk why the Bose QCs are always the first recc on this subreddit, but there is definitely a correlation considering the Samsung Buds really do work well. If you can afford those, go for it, my guy, but if you can’t then you should do some research into some off brand or niche ones I’d say[.](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C877KZG3) Like Huawei’s been good generally speaking, Jlab’s always been reliable. I think their [Sport Gen 2s](https://grassrouteguide.com/dp-B0C877KZG3S) actually hold up the most with ANC, considering it blocks out the sound but you don’t feel like your ears have been vacuum sealed. They’re open back so there’s still quite a bit of breathing room. gonna also just give my sour crab advice here, don’t go for Apple or Sony, they’re charging for brand name at this point, there’s so many buggy glitches with their products now, its just not worth the headache.

Omg yes, I got these as a gift and love them so far! I do sweat a lot when exercising and it has been performing like a champ. Its the little things like the integrated charging cable in the case that makes me appreciate them even more.

If you want good ANC and battery life you should seriously try Jlab Epic Air ANCs (I have the 2nd gen). I have started liking them more than my previous airpods because of the better battery life. Idk about sweat resistance but they do have one of those water resistance ratings.

your sony xm5s aren’t broken their mics just suck. everyone complains about the muffled sound. technics az1000 and jbl tour pro 3 will sound a little clearer, but not worth dropping big money for just call quality. they’re sidegrades, not upgrades. for actual improvement on calls, look at jlab epic air or [even tagry’s](https://vorolab.github.io/grab/?q=LPY55865) newer sets. mics blow sony/bose out of the water for clarity.

Ive always used bose sport or the quiet comforts because of how they fit. My old pair of sports are going on about 6-7 years but barely hold a charge. They are my backups, while one of my 3 year old quiet comforts just stopped working completely. I bought the Jlab ANC sport earbuds and they have been excellent. 1/3rd the price of Bose and honestly sound better IMO. the jlab app is nice and the be aware mode is great for running or activities when you're around others.

I will warn you the highest end ones we offer (epic) are more bulky than the go and jbuds. I grabbed all 3 pairs and it looks like (height wise) go is 14.5mm, jbuds is 16mm, and epic is 18mm. I found the epic sport earbuds to be too bulky to use in my helmet for skiing, not sure if motorcycling helmets have any more clearance though.

I would recommend you the JLabs air sports. They are underrated earbuds. They are hook style earbuds and stay in your ears no matter how intense the workout is. They sound pretty good for the price and have button controls as well with a tactile feedback.

update I tried the jlab mini and so far so good. Haven’t fallen out after hours of wear ~ I get sweaty ~ but I have yet to take them to the gym. I may just stick with my over-ears

If you're like me and constantly lose things then JLab Sport are good, they're ~$30 per pair, fit over ear, sweat and water resistant, and I don't hate myself if I lose one.

I can’t tell you what the *best* are, but I *can* tell you what the best are *not*: •Apple AirPods Generation 4 •Google Pixel Buds (*any* version) But ya know, the J Lab Sports and my Jabra (dang I miss those suckers) I got at Walmart are better than the Google’s and on the same level with my AirPods. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wanted Bose, but Dad’s cheap. I’ve got brain cancer, epilepsy, and crazy in-laws for crying out loud! But, he’ll need my help one day… I’m def following this post!! Thx!
