I think JLab Go Pop+ True Wireless Earbuds (or similar budget JLab buds) are honestly solid for daily use if you don’t want to drop more cash, they sound good enough for music, podcasts, and workouts at that price.

Jlab Go Pop+ Malfunction Very Confused.. Perhaps Received Faulty Pair? Hello! This is my first Redit post ever, I am in need of some headphone help!! Also, please let me know if this is the incorrect area to post this!! I have been a JLAB Fan for years, buying my first headset in around 2021. I struggle with sensory issues and am very particular about headphone feel and quality of sound. I have always had remarkable sound quality from JLAB especially for the low cost. I bought a pair of JLAB Go Pop+ Earphones in October of 2024 after my previous pair of JLAB earphones began to have audio issues. I noticed the right earphone on my old set played significantly less loud music, but having had them for years I thought nothing of it. Now I am back at square one with my headphone dilemma! My right earphone on my new EarPods now plays significantly muffled and quieter music than my left earphone. My left earphone seems to be playing at a normal volume! This pair of earbuds is only 10 months old and I do not believe they should be having this issue. I have checked the balance on my phone’s headphone settings. I have also cleaned both earbuds (multiple times), especially the right one in which the issue occurs. I have attempted “sucking the wax” out of the right earbud (I saw this on a different Redit post) and have now attempted to factory reset the earphones by ‘forgetting’ them and ‘re-pairing’ them, and somehow have ended up making them unable to connect to my iPhone. I’m assuming this is user error. 😳 As well as struggling with the sound quality, I also struggle with the fit of these headphones. They slide out of my ears incredibly easily. They do not stay in place during light activity such as walking. I do give them the benefit of the doubt as they are not running headphones, and thus do not stay in my ears very well during high intensity running. That being said, sitting or lying down will also cause them to fall out. I feel it is ridiculous sometimes, as I cannot relax without having to constantly adjust the fit in my ears. I have even switched out the size of the earbud tips multiple times, to no avail. This could all very well be user error, but as someone who has loved JLAB for years, I am anxious!! Please help me out, is there anything obvious I’m missing!! Thank you for any advice!

I think the J Lab Go Pop + are great. I have small ears but they don’t both me, still in without a problem on long runs, sound pretty good, and are less than $25 so when I lose them or break them I’m not crying.

Honestly, your budget range is so broad it's confusing. I mean, the Go Pop+ is nearly flawless for its price point to me—it has excellent passive noise cancellation, warm sound quality, and the included charging cable is super convenient. But for just $10 more, the sound quality makes a huge difference.

I have owned the go air pops, something like 20 bucks , and they were the best earbuds I ever used. But I had only used garbage earbuds so when the sound quality jlab produces floored me.Unfortunately after heavy and extreme and I mean extreme use in a very dirty environment, after a year the range suddenly cut down to the point they wouldn't pick up from my shirt pocket to my ear.. I didn't push jlab for a warranty because I felt like I'd gotten my measly 20ish buck worth from them and didn't fault jlab due to the extreme circumstances I used them in daily. I immediately went to Walmart and bought some go pop+ buds , these had app access and I could customize the controls and manipulate the sound and other features. I was as satisfied with them as before but the be aware feature removed the need to wear one at a time at work like usual and I was stoked. Battery lasted a 10 hour shift in both pairs. About a week after, I was on the jlab app and seen the mini buds.. these got my attention because my only wish was for them to be smaller. I got my ass in the car went to Walmart, and bought a set. Those tiny things were every bit as good as the bigger ones except my battery went out around 8 hrs. Sometimes I work 12 hours and always work 10, so shit on payday I went and scooped me another pair .. That was about a year ago and the the two mini pairs are still kicking , and I really like them. If they bit the dust tomorrow I'd have another pair by sundown.. I'm sure there's more expensive buds that are better. Jlab probably makes better buds themselves. But in my opinion, for 20-40 bucks the jlab go air pops, go pop +, and jbuds mini can't be beat. I can't speak on their customer service because I didn't try them on the warranty, I work in a hot asa filthy steel mill and the fact they lasted a year was impressive to me. And even so, I think It would have been a dickhead move to push the warranty claim like I'd be using them under normal conditions instead of wearing them for 10 hours a day swimming in sweat in the pits of hell.

I’m taking some of these ideas, I bought some cheap ones off of Amazon that work okay, but they are wired. I have used my JLab go plus and they work okay enough for me.
