I've been using Jlabs Jbuds Mini earbuds. They are traditional earbuds but are super small/thin and allow me to sleep on my side. Battery life is 5.5 hours. https://a.co/d/0bxR01hg
I've got 2 pairs of jlabs and my wife has a set of the mint minis and they have been great. Hold up really well.
I’ve got the same issue and I’m choosing the right model too. Here are options that match what you’re looking for: JLab JBuds Mini — among the tiniest (~3.3 g per bud); often a great fit for smaller ears. No ANC, but the ultra-compact shell means you’re unlikely to get rubbing. Soundcore A20i — very small (~25 × 19 × 16 mm, ~5.2 g per bud); comfy and inexpensive. No ANC, but they tend to fit almost any ear. Sony LinkBuds S (WF-LS900N) — lightweight (~4.8 g per bud) and one of the most comfortable with real ANC; small, rounded housing. If you want a quality sound + secure seal, this is the safest “premium” pick. Alternative: Sony LinkBuds Fit (WF-LS910N) — even more comfort-oriented. The Air Fitting Supporters distribute contact inside the outer ear (no hooks; they don’t interfere with glasses). If your left concha (the bowl of your outer ear) is very small, these can help spread pressure away from sensitive spots. (~4.9 g per bud). Sony WF-C700N / C710N — light (~4.6 g per bud on C700N), designed for small ears; ANC is decent. WF-C710N is the 2025 refresh with improved ANC/touch controls. Samsung Galaxy Buds2 — very small, rounded capsule; comfortable with good sound and competent ANC. (Not the FE.) ~5.0 g per bud; 17.0 × 20.9 × 21.1 mm.
JLab Mini ANC. Not actually out yet, it was just announced at CES. But should be on sale any day. I got the Mini non-ANC in a random earbud emergency, just grabbed a cheap pair from the nearest Walmart. They’re SO tiny, and seriously surprising quality, for $40. Also someone else mentioned Soundcore a40. Had those, they were good. Maybe a little dated, but I’d recommend. IMHO from buying dozens of pairs at all price points, if your range is 40-80, spend $40. They’ve gotten really good and $80 isn’t gonna get you a lot more.
Yea thats accurate. I think ANC creates a sense of “pressure” and bass sounds heavier. They didnt sound as good without IMO You sure you can’t disable auto pause even with the soundcore app? That would annoy me, I always turn it off. But I don’t have them anymore, can’t check. But if you actually don’t like ANC then I’d still recommend checking out the JLab Mini. The regular edition will be dirt cheap once they release an ANC version! And the sound quality was shockingly good for their size and price. But also you might be able to get better bass from chunkier buds. So basically “ sorry idk 🤷🏼♂️😂 “
I can speak for their reliability but these are the smallest buds I own. Thank you for the topic. JLab JBuds Mini are widely considered the smallest true wireless earbuds, featuring a tiny design (approx. 21 x 19 x 14 mm) that is 30% smaller than the JLab Go Pop+ and fits well in small ears. They are ideal for discreet use, offer good sound, and include a keychain-friendly charging case.
The JLabs Jbuds Mini True have a silicone case on Amazon and the buds are $40
The buds themselves are not mini. I think it’s just a naming thing. I always like to read reviews on Amazon from other buyers to get their impressions. Hope this helps!
I have in my car one pair of open earbuds. On my keyring I have a pair of jlab mini (as an emergency basically). 9/10 times my keyring is with me. I usually have a pair of anker buds in my jacket. And 2 more pair in my purse, which i sometimes have and sometimes do not. I always have an extra battery pack with type c pin in my purse, and a tiny/quick one in my jacket. And I have a full charger cord and brick in my purse. This one time, we went to the er for my sis and weren't prepared, it was like 8 hours with nothing. The next day I made a better 'emergency bag' in my purse 🤣 small bills and a few coins (for vending machines, when we went the credit card thing was busted) and snacks included too.
Jlab Mini. Comfy, stays in. Super cheap. Lasts forever. Not too loud so I can hear my surroundings
Mini Jlab buds. Just wear in one ear
