JLab Jbuds Sport ANC. I love the over the ear hooks, so I can pull them out slightly and they won't fall off. That way I can still hear sounds around me, or if the environment is safe (treadmill, etc) I can push them all the way in and use the noise cancelling effect. The value is absolutely great for the price. I've had mine for years, and the battery life is great too. Ran a 14 hour race earlier this year on one charge.

I'm currently testing jlab jbuds sport gen 4. Earhooks, ANC and Multipoint. they have a touch slide volume control on the hook that works a lot better than the past. $70

I'd give them a B. Quirky. Occasionally will disconnect when I go out of range and require a reset to reconnect. It is rare, but happens. They won't charge with the case cover open, which has bit me before. But good sound and isolation. Controls work well, but are a little sensitive.

Jlabs Jbuds Sport Anc 4. These stay on really well and are on the more affordable side.

Ive always used bose sport or the quiet comforts because of how they fit. My old pair of sports are going on about 6-7 years but barely hold a charge. They are my backups, while one of my 3 year old quiet comforts just stopped working completely. I bought the Jlab ANC sport earbuds and they have been excellent. 1/3rd the price of Bose and honestly sound better IMO. the jlab app is nice and the be aware mode is great for running or activities when you're around others.

They are reasonably priced, and they all are small cylinder earbuds. The sound is good for the price with good battery life. OP wanted something for kids under 16. If these get misplaced it is less of a bad deal. The Jbuds line is their medium line. It includes the Jbuds mini. They have a bit better sound quality. So, something like the JLab Jbuds ANC is really good from 40 to 55. Edited for typos

People like the Soundcore X10 or X20. I have liked the jlab earbuds. Their sport models seem decent. The Jlab Jbuds line is their medium tier. They seem worth a bit extra for me, but the Go buds are usually a really good value for less.

The JLab is reasonable and always gets at least 7 hours on a charge. JLab Go Pop is a good cheap one .The JLab Jbuds line has better sound quality for $50. Earfun has good battery life too. I bought Earfun Air 2 recently. 👍

The Earfun earbuds are pretty good. I picked up the Earfun Air 2 last summer. It really holds its own with the Sony c510. Both are not super premium, but they are hard to beat for $50.00. I sometimes lose earbuds and took a pass on the $200.00 models. Same goes for the Jlab Jbuds line. The usually cost 45-59, but the sound better then most of the earbuds available for 40 or less.

Ok, for some reason I cant make actual posts, so here: I am in need of Bluetooth earbuds that are only PARTIALLY wired. For example, Jlab JBuds Bluetooth Earbuds. The problem is, I have used earbuds such as the one above before. I tried everything under the sun, JLab, Skull Candy, Sony, etc etc and for the life of me I can't find one that lasts more than 6 months to a year. All of the ones I have used thus far, which I got from these brands and more, I brought because people have said they lasted 5 years+. I would even say 90% of these people said they still used them. For whatever cursed reason, mine never last past 6 months, meaning on ear bud goes out. The one time I tried to keept it, the sound was completelygone after a year. I am tired, and I am broken 😫. I can't get the completely wireless ones because they will slip and fall out my ear and I will 1000000% lose them. Can someone pleeeeeease give me a reputable brand, preferably a brand they have brought in the past 5-6 years. I feel like when I first brought them, the newer brands had just started to get shitty, but now that we're in 2026, anyone who has had them for 3-6 years would have started buying them when I started buying them so we're dealing with the same level of crappiness. Any advice would help!

get noise cancelling as a feature. touch controls, too, unless you can do it from your watch. I have soundcores and they work great. I have the over the ear style of earbuds, so I don't have to worry about them falling out during jumping jacks or burpees. jbuds I tried and personally, couldn't keep them in my ears, even trying all the sizes of tips. they seemed very top heavy to me, they had great touch control, though.
