"The sound quality is exceptional. ... Use the personalized EQ and then adjust to taste and it's got plenty of bass. ... My most direct comparison is the Sennheiser MTW4s which were great, but lost to the Nobles on clarity and separation. ... They sound clean AF but still have plenty of punch for bassy stuff."
"if you want the best sound quality that makes the music live and addictive then my 1st recommendation will be Noble fokus rex5 ... after some hrs. of customising the Equalizers - then it's the best in the market"
"the EQ function is so powerful. ... There's a slick secondary tonality adjustment curve function that lets you really dial in your preferred sound in a way I haven't seen any other built in EQs manage."

"Noble fokus rex5 best sounding change my mind. ... Five drivers per ear bud game changing for sure ... Yes, you're so right. They are by far number one. ... There may be a few airbuds that get better battery a little bit, better ANC but right now my two cents worth, there's nothing on a planet that sounds better than these. ... I have all the heavy hitters. The techniques 80/100 Sony 4 and 5 sennheisers 3 and 4 and the Devialet gemini II. ... Ronontech on YouTube did a review on the Aviot a few days ago. I belive he liked the Nobels better. ... Also on YouTube, check out Flossie Carter review on the Nobles, he went absolutely nuts. Best sounding wireless earbuds he has ever heard."
"sounded great. ... Did the personal ear test and the Rex5 sounded very good. ... I use it at home too cause the details and soundstage are great. ... Rex5 are really good as detailed as my Final Audio D8000 pro headphone which cost $4,500"
"The rex 5 are pretty big. But, they are the best wireless earbuds I have ever heard."

"Rex5 sounds great if, and only if, you have the time to really eq them out. ... I couldn't find any presets online to use so I started using the poweramp eq for other noble iems and spent almost 2 hours trying to get them to sound better. ... The clarity and separation is there but to get the bass to hit right took some time."
"requires a lot of time to tweak the eq to fit your musical tastes."
"I totally think they are overhyped. ... Wasn't at all impressed, they sound exactly like the Aviot Zx1 at half the price."

"if you care about ANC, then it's a far cry from the best in class"
"Mine seems to have white noise in the right earbud with it on."
"Sony and Bose are far superior in ANC."

"shitty app is really a deal breaker for me. ... The app is more of a personal pet peeve but it just screams cheap chinese OEM, even complete the vibe with unlocalized chinese messages. ... It's a fucking $500 earbud and Noble really should do better than that."

"Noble's app is subpar, and hasn't evolved much."
Of the ones listed, the Denon Perl Pro is the best... I own the AZ-100's and the Perl Pro... The AZ-100 is better call quality though... That being said... If your budget is $500, Devialet Gemini 2's... I use my Gem2's more than any other of my buds. I could also suggest Noble Audio Fokus Rex5's, $449... They sound amazing, but not the best for rock/metal music.
BEST sounding, are Nobel Audio Fokus Rex5 or Devialet Gemini 2... I also have the Status Audio Between 3ANC, Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ100, and B&W Pi8... All of those are really great choices as well.
Didn't even mention my Rex5's or Pi8's.... I have an addiction...
The Rex5's are excellent. They only issue that I have, and it is a personal preference, is that at times, they can be too analytical... I listen to alot of hard rock/metal and the level of detail the Rex5's have really make the flaws in the recording/engineering stand out. For me, that can take away from the pleasure of casual listening. Also, the Rex5's are physically larger, and for me, can become uncofortable after a while. I personally don't think you can go wrong with either pair of buds. I forget where... I saw yesterday, someone (business) have the Rex5's on sale for $399.
The Technics don't get very loud at all... Pi8 gets loud, but I was/am sorely disappointed in them and their sound quality. The Rex5 gets plenty loud but, in my opinion, can be too analytical for casual listening. The Devialet are just plain awesome all the way around, once you get rid of the stock tips.
The Denon Perl Pro is an excellent choice. Due to their size, they take some getting used to. You may also want to look into Status Audio Pro X. They sound awesome. ANC and call quality are very good as well. They only area they seem to lack is batter life. I get between 5-6 hours on a single charge, with LDAC off and ANC on. Not knowing your budget, you might consider the Status Between 3ANC, which are about on par with the Denon Perl Pro. If money isn't much of a concern, look into the Devialet Gemini 2's or Noble Audio Fokus Rex5. They only drawback to the Rex5's is their size, about the size of a true IEM.
I had a difficult time getting them tuned in... Their biggest strength is also their biggest weakness... They are such a precise bud that they bring out flaws in track engineering/recording. I bet I spent over a month trying to dial them in to where I was happy with them. One other suggestion I will make, swap tips... On the Perl Pro, I like the Divinus Velvet tips... To me they are more comfortable and isolate better... I have only one pair of buds that I actually like the stock tips with. My Pro X's, I use Azla SednaEarfit Max TWS tips. Both Divinus and Azla can be found on Amazon. I have a pair of Noble Fokus Triumph buds on the way, coming from Japan. I am curious to try a higher end bud with a MEMS driver.
My rankings based on what I own. My criteria are big soundstage, tight articulate bass, and comfort. 1. Noble FoKus Prestige 2. Master & Dynamic MW09 3. Devialet Gemini II 4. Noble Fokus Rex5 5. Denon Perl Pro 6. Technics AZ100 7. B&W Pi8
On pure SQ alone: Noble Prestige > Devialet Gemini 2 > Master & Dynamic MW09 > Noble Fokus Rex5 > Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 > Denon Perl Pro > Technics AZ100 > Sennheiser MTW4
If you want something well balanced, probably stick to 3rd gen airpods. Technics az100 excel in sound quality but ANC is not comparable to the best. Bose quietcomfort ultra excel in ANC but sound quality isn't the best. B&W pi8, Noble Fokus Rex 5 is on the top for sound quality but the call quality is bad.
I'll give it to Sennheiser they actually have better timing but it's little low sounding for me an not as bright as I'd like but yeah I agree with you the rest sound like dog shit compared to my Denon perl pro my rex5 an geekfly vitas. I'd say geekfly better for brighter more fun sound with all the details but no features an great battery life While rex5 is more analytical an some what detailed.
Noble Rex5 I had the Pi8 to see which one I like better, Pi8 went back as they are just simply not in the same class. Recently got the Denon Perl Pro for working out and honestly I wouldn't pay the extra money for the Pi8 compared to these for the 130 dollars off woot.
Not on your list but should be: Noble FoKus Rex5
I use mine daily but intermittently. I've never come anywhere close to running down the batteries during 3 or 4 hour sessions, going back into the case in between uses. I don't know that I've gone below 50% even, just hasn't been an issue. The sound quality is exceptional. Use the personalized EQ and then adjust to taste and it's got plenty of bass. My most direct comparison is the Sennheiser MTW4s which were great, but lost to the Nobles on clarity and separation. They sound clean AF but still have plenty of punch for bassy stuff. I don't know about the Amazon review, but anyone saying these are "awful" has an agenda. They're fucking amazing. My only complaint is the price.
As one of the Fokus Rex5 upvoters and buyers, I remain pleased with my purchase.
You've already got the buds, plain & simple .Are you listening to the Denon Pearl Pros in APTX LOSSLESS? If not, purchase the Creative BT W6 dongle (it's like $65) and receive the lossless signal bypassing the Bluetooth stack in your phone (no down sampling). That's all you need, trust me. You're not going to get better sound. That's the precipus of earbud sound quality. Just make sure you utilize the hearing test accurately and have perfectly fitting tips. You're already at the peak at that point. And I state the preceding owning the Noble Audio Rex 5 (listen to them with the same dongle and it gives me Aptx Adaptive HQ) and their incredible, but when you get to this level it's not necessarily "better sound" it's just a different sound signature. I also have the Technics AZ100's and listen to them in uninterrupted 990 LDAC through the Fiio BTA30 PRO. The AZ 100's, same principal, not better, not worse, just a different flavor.
