"If you care about call quality and noise cancelling during calls then Huawei is the the way and only way to go ... Best overall for calls ... nothing comes close to the Huawei free clips in terms of call quality! ... mic quality for calls is mileeeees ahead on the Huawei."

"I think I can confidently say that these will fit anyone and everyone's taste in music, but ONLY because it's soundcore and their app let's you choose EQ settings that would fit your taste. ... Literally each one of the genres I listed sound amazing and most importantly IMMERSIVE when paired with the right EQ ... I was listening to The Red Clay Strays and was not quite satisfied with the way their music sounded so I tried the "Piano" EQ setting, and holy fuck it's like the mids that i was talking about broke out of their cage and colors started flying. The best way I could describe it is that the vocals and instrumentals became more detailed and colorful as opposed to just being a dull and flat board hitting you in the ears. ... For any and I feel like all kinds of audio, you can get what you want with the right EQ setting (preset or custom, whichever you like), even binaural beats which are these pretentious yoga droning noises that i listen to when i can't sleep, they end up being a spiritual experience. ... there's the EQ customization, allowing you to tailor the earbuds' sound quality to a specific genre or taste. there's a ton of different presets for those who have no idea how to manually do it (me), and there's that custom EQ for the sound engineers"

"Noble fokus rex5 best sounding change my mind. ... Five drivers per ear bud game changing for sure ... Yes, you're so right. They are by far number one. ... There may be a few airbuds that get better battery a little bit, better ANC but right now my two cents worth, there's nothing on a planet that sounds better than these. ... I have all the heavy hitters. The techniques 80/100 Sony 4 and 5 sennheisers 3 and 4 and the Devialet gemini II. ... Ronontech on YouTube did a review on the Aviot a few days ago. "having somewhat of a shittier ANC. ... For the use of buses or even home, don't even think about it, the ANC goes crazy with the sound of the engine and the passive noise reduction is almost non present. ... I'd rather not having headphones in the bus and actively listen to the engine than to have these headphones and having to actually listen to the engine as well + weird ANC noises + doghsit quality audio. ... this newer model somehow improves in actually nothing and somehow got an even worse ANC even though the first already barely even had at all. ... From what I've read, the Noble REX5 is the best sounding tws earbud ever. If that is the most important thing, then that might be the endgame. They have 5 drivers on each side verse 1 in the XM5's. They have a dynamic driver for bass, 3 balanced armature drivers for the mids, and a planar magnetic driver for Treble. They apparently rival even some wired iems in sound quality. I bought them, but they were already sold out after just around a month of release, so they must be very popular, lol. I'm actually supposed to get them today or tomorrow. I can give my feedback and compare them to the XM5's if you like. I actually have the XM5's as well. I must say they are $450, and I understand most people would not be willing to spend that much for a tws.

I received them shortly after commenting, and my god 🤯!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even joking when I say they make the XM5'S sound like Beats and like the old Beats, lol. They are a clear upgrade in every way in terms of sound quality. They are even better than my Moondrop Dusks I got for my father. The Dusks are a $400 wired iem and the REX5's best them. I'm legitimately blown away. All the reviews were true! And this is the stock tuning right out of the box. You can customize the sound with the app. I'd say most will they are not super bass heavy, which I don't personally mind tbh. I'm a quality over quantity guy when it comes to bass, and my god, do these deliver. I'll try to compare sound as best as I can. The bass in the REX5's is less prominent but cleaner, faster, and more punchy, basically better in every way, in my opinion. Same with the mids, they are more clear and detailed. You can hear the timber and texture of vocals much more clearly because of the balanced armature drivers. That was my biggest issue with the Sony's. I love vocals Pop, RNB, Rock those are my main genres of music and the XM5'S mids just seemed dull to me not bad but not super engaging kinda boring for a lack of better words. The REX5 remedies that issue perfectly. The faster decaying bass almost emphasizes the mids more while not being a deterrent to the bass. And lastly, the star of the show, honestly, the treble here is damn near perfection. Bright and sparkly giving vocals a little more pop without being fatigueing the detail is very good as well, a tier above the Sony's. You can hear details and layers to music and vocals you simply can't in the Sony's. The soundstage is about the same, maybe a little wider. The imaging is also much better and more natural and "correct" sounding, you could say. The build quality is also outstanding. Both the earbuds themselves and the case are made with brushed aluminum. The most premium feeling earbud I've ever owned. The touch controls are the exact same as the Sony's, which is a good thing because I liked them personally. The battery life and noise canceling are better on the Sony's as I expected. They aren't bad on the REX5's, but sound and build quality are really what you're paying for here. All in all, I think if you have the money and know why you are buying these, they are totally worth the investment. I don't regret it one bit!!!!!

Of the ones listed, the Denon Perl Pro is the best... I own the AZ-100's and the Perl Pro... The AZ-100 is better call quality though... That being said... If your budget is $500, Devialet Gemini 2's... I use my Gem2's more than any other of my buds. I could also suggest Noble Audio Fokus Rex5's, $449... They sound amazing, but not the best for rock/metal music.

BEST sounding, are Nobel Audio Fokus Rex5 or Devialet Gemini 2... I also have the Status Audio Between 3ANC, Denon Perl Pro, Technics AZ100, and B&W Pi8... All of those are really great choices as well.

The Rex5's are excellent. They only issue that I have, and it is a personal preference, is that at times, they can be too analytical... I listen to alot of hard rock/metal and the level of detail the Rex5's have really make the flaws in the recording/engineering stand out. For me, that can take away from the pleasure of casual listening. Also, the Rex5's are physically larger, and for me, can become uncofortable after a while. I personally don't think you can go wrong with either pair of buds. I forget where... I saw yesterday, someone (business) have the Rex5's on sale for $399.

The Technics don't get very loud at all... Pi8 gets loud, but I was/am sorely disappointed in them and their sound quality. The Rex5 gets plenty loud but, in my opinion, can be too analytical for casual listening. The Devialet are just plain awesome all the way around, once you get rid of the stock tips.

If you want something well balanced, probably stick to 3rd gen airpods. Technics az100 excel in sound quality but ANC is not comparable to the best. Bose quietcomfort ultra excel in ANC but sound quality isn't the best. B&W pi8, Noble Fokus Rex 5 is on the top for sound quality but the call quality is bad.

I'll give it to Sennheiser they actually have better timing but it's little low sounding for me an not as bright as I'd like but yeah I agree with you the rest sound like dog shit compared to my Denon perl pro my rex5 an geekfly vitas. I'd say geekfly better for brighter more fun sound with all the details but no features an great battery life While rex5 is more analytical an some what detailed.

Noble Rex5 I had the Pi8 to see which one I like better, Pi8 went back as they are just simply not in the same class. Recently got the Denon Perl Pro for working out and honestly I wouldn't pay the extra money for the Pi8 compared to these for the 130 dollars off woot.

I use mine daily but intermittently. I've never come anywhere close to running down the batteries during 3 or 4 hour sessions, going back into the case in between uses. I don't know that I've gone below 50% even, just hasn't been an issue. The sound quality is exceptional. Use the personalized EQ and then adjust to taste and it's got plenty of bass. My most direct comparison is the Sennheiser MTW4s which were great, but lost to the Nobles on clarity and separation. They sound clean AF but still have plenty of punch for bassy stuff. I don't know about the Amazon review, but anyone saying these are "awful" has an agenda. They're fucking amazing. My only complaint is the price.
