Nothing - Buds Pro 2

This^ I just went down this rabbit hole and everyone's opinions online varied wildly from my own in person experiences. I ended up keeping Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (pixel phone). I tried Pixel Buds Pro 2, JBL Tour Pro 3, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and Nothing Pro (2024).

CMF Buds Pro 2 has insane bass. Feels like you have powerful low end monster subwoofers playing into your head. Really feels like your head is vibrating.

CMF Buds Pro 2 are hard to beat in their price range and hard if not impossible to beat in the bass department. If you want bass that feels like it's turning your brain into mush, they're the ones.

Well, got the **BUDS PRO 2** today, the last missing part from cmf ;) So here´s my short and quick review. They come in the same not so nice package as the WATCH PRO 2, so, this is it. Inside we have the BUDS PRO 2 with case, USB - C cable for charging, some ear adapter and papers. Connected to my cmf PHONE 1, same game as with the watch, Firmware Update popped up and was quickly done (not like with the watch). After setting all things up and to my likes, first wear and sound test. Dunno what to say: **I M P R E S S E D** Why? Simply, they fit perfectly in my ears, the first sound come brutally clear over, deep bass, all played instruments clear and each of them distinguished, come on cmf, what magic have u done here? I mean, in my collection I have Apple, Samsung, LG, Huawei, SONY Buds and more, but those cheap Buds here **blast** most of them away. Next days more time to do some deeper audio tests. The case, good build quality, magnets are strong, the dial has a good haptic feel and feedback while turning it. It also clicks mechanically. It is charged over an USB - C connector and has a status LED in front. In first instance I could not get it working despite all setting for the dial done, after placing the buds in the case and connecting again, alls works as advertised and expected. Battery has to be tested over linger time. It’s ok. In mind with the price. Sure, my Sony are still number one. But triple the price.

Currently using CMF Buds Pro 2 with my 6a, they're quite comfortable and sound quality is good. Its noise cancelling does well at blocking lower frequencies, but leaves higher frequency noises like cars and rain quite isolated - lowkey feel like I should've gone for the Liberty 4 Nc's instead lol

Previously owned AirPods 1 and Soundpeats Air3 and am looking for an upgrade. I tried out the CMF Buds Pro 2 and personally did not like the fit feel, the audio was very air-ey, equalizer options were kinda bad, the case was bulky and I didn’t like the little audio wheel on it. It seems like most earbuds have the inner ear connecting part, which I feel easily fall out of my ears. What options are out there for me? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I mean, if you want to stick with wired you could, you’d only need a headphone jack to USB-C adapter. That being said, Powerbeats Pro 2 is generally safe to recommend for those like you that have a hard time with them staying in. They are pricier, but they’re more of a no compromise product. Anker with their Soundcore brand make the Sport X lineup that I’ve heard some good things about. When it comes down to it, it may be a little bit of trial and error. For me, I find most earbuds to be fine if you wear proper ear tips. For example, AirPods Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2 fit me very well with the right tips.

Price is not a problem but i want a good sounding tws with heavy bass and clarity currently I'm using cmf buds pro 2 they are amazing for their price but lack clarity i think. I have a few options nothing ear A/one plus buds 3/samsung galaxy buds 3/or nothing ear 2024.

Hey mate, I've just picked these up recently and have been messing around with things for only a little while, so take it with a grain of salt. Vocals are clear but the bass can be overpowering. I feel the bass can sound muddy, but don't feel they make the tunes sound worse than phone speakers at all. Might just need to mess around a bit with the EQ settings a bit more to get it closer to desirable preference. These aren't for the audiophiles (anything orchestral sounds pretty bad imo, so maybe skip it if you really love your strings) but I reckon they're a really good all rounder for the general price point. Call quality is great too. I've not been told that I sound underwater yet. For something that is a quarter of the price of my Sony xm4 headphones (which I love) I believe it's really good value. I picked up the orange ones to hide any dirtying and so I can spot it easy if I drop them anywhere, but this is purely a lifestyle choice for me lol.

Not before buying them, but I have to say they are way better than anything in this price point (that I had chance to try). From what I heard, it really helps when u turn of the ANC for calls.

Try CMF Buds 2 Pro. I gotta be honest. I just spent $120 USD on a pair of Nothing Ear 2 and my $40 Simgot EW200 sound better. I'm thinking about returning the TWS earbuds. I wanted something that sound as good as my IEMs but with the convenience of wireless... But it's not even close. Much more detail with the $40 IEMs.

I just bought them and I'm very satisfied. You need to equalize it, it's a must. I have -6 in Bass, it's true there are bloody bassy. Fine decent in calls, I prove them in a crowded boulevard like Time Square. With music and people talking. They heard my voice in that hard scenario, wasn't crystal clear but pretty decent.

Definitely in ear. On ear and over ear are gonna contribute to head sweat and stink up quickly. Airpods or Beats fit pro are the go to if you’re on iPhone. If you’re on Android then you have many, many options. Nothing Ear(a) and cmf buds pro 2 are great budget options. Galaxy Buds pro 3 (or 2 if you wanna save a buck) are good also. It really does come down to ear canal size and shape. You just need something with a good fit. Sound quality doesn’t matter too much to me when I’m working out. Buy using Amazon prime and take advantage of their lenient return policy. Just try them in your ears really quick, then box them back up if they aren’t immediately comfortable. CMF buds pro 2 are bass head earbuds with some good rumble to them, won’t get to that Skullcandy crusher level but close enough and better ANC, plus more convenient.

I also did the exact thing. My pro 1’s are crackling like crap (i also use them for sleeping). This buds pro 2 will be perfect till the airpods pro 3s come out. It’s like 80% up there with the airpods pro 1 soundwise. ANC is also quite good, punching above its price point

Thanks for the review man. Ordered mine not so long ago and been waiting very impatiently lol. I never had any buds and wasn't really up to spend 250+ on flagship ones. I hope these do blow them away like you say haha. I only need the ~BASS and ANC to make me happy.

I did. Bass is great. If you do get it you wont be dissapointed. The only problem i'm having is they don't fit my ear correctly, like none of the tips sizes. Some people recommended me to order OMNI tips which might help, so im waiting on those.

They don't fit my ears properly either man. Omni tips don't really help. I kinda gave up on them and don't use them anymore. I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but you could still try the tips. Maybe it would be different for you.

Melobuds Pro or CMF buds pro 2 for basshead.

I bought these recently on recommendation from a lad in store. WOW……for the price they are great. I have a more expensive set of Sony Soundsport buds but the CMF are as good for my uses and the USB-c charge case is great. They automatically switch On when placed in the ear and off again when taken out. They just work and pair and have good comfort, sound, and battery life. I would buy again.

We have all 3 in the house. For me, it's the CMF Buds Pro 2 that is the overall winner. The Buds FE are my 'go-to' buds for the gym and the track - because of their 'wings' they stay in pretty much no matter what I get up to in any sweaty state. And the Melobuds Pro were a great buy that I use for general casual listening, and are a great secondary pair. Fabulous buds for the price!!

Can't comment about the OPB3, but we have the other 2 in the house. My preference between these other 2 are the CMF Buds Pro 2, but I reckon most people will be happy with either one. Both are really good value for their sound and features set.

Devices: RP4 Pro, PSP 3000 Game: Persona 3 portable Wallet: PS2 Wallet (found on Ali) I found that a good pair of wireless earbuds (cmf buds pro 2) coupled with some on ear clip ons (Audio-Technica ATH-EM7X) works best for me. Bought the Audio-Technica's as a big fan of persona, although not the exact same model used in game, they tunred out to have some decent audio quality and a lightweight feel on the ear for everyday use. ♫♪I WILL BURN MY DREAD♫♪

Cmf buds pro 2. The case has a smart Dial for music/Audio control functions (play, pause skip tracks, volume up & down)

I use the CMF Buds pro 2, I can use the dial that's on the case to control the volume, play/pause and skip tracks all while having my Go in my pocket with the screen off.

The Earfun AP4 are a good option, but I actually prefer the CMF Buds 2 Pro. They were only $47.

I second this. I got my CMF Buds 2 Pro for $47 and they work pretty great with my iPhone. I am honestly shocked how good wireless earbuds can sound at this price. The ANC isn’t amazing, but still good enough to hear them while mowing the lawn or other loud environments.

I picked up the Sony c 510 for $50 on Jan 1. It has a well tuned bass. App has a pretty good hearing test. I have had good luck with Earfun :Earfun Air Pro 4 or Earfun Air 2 are both good. CMF Buds Pro 2 has a ton of bass, but picky audio on youtube had some good EQ tips. If you order it but cannot find the right video. Hit me up and I'll give you the basics.

I think the bass is extra strong. I did get a tip from the YouTuber Picky Audio. He said the CMF buds have a funky EQ that looks like a clock. If you put your finger at 12 and reduce it to 50% the tuning is very good. I don't like extra strong bass, but this tip made the CMF buds sound like they are worth a try.

Be sure to have reliable exchange or return options. I recently had to return CMF buds twice and many are having issues with Moondrop tws products. Quality control is an industry wide problem.

The skull candy Rail anc might work but if u really want Bass even though you want skull candy, you might want to try the CMF buds pro 1 and 2 have better bass than the Skull candy Rail Anc in my opinion

I'm getting ready to head out of the country in a few weeks. I really like BASS, LOUDNESS, and NOISE CANCELLATION (in that order) and would like to find a decent set of wireless bluetooth earbuds that would drown out some of the plane engine sounds and perhaps be OK to wear just mowing the lawn. My truck has a JL Audio 1000w stereo in it and I currently use a nice set of Astro A50a's when gaming on my PC, PS5 and listening to podcasts on my iPhone--so that should tell you that I like loud "thumpy" bass the most. My budget would be around $100 max. I ordered the CMF Buds Pro 2 & Tozo NC9 Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds from Amazon last night and they have already shown up at my house. I am hesitant on opening them because quite a few reviews I've seen online say that the Tozo's are cheap and the noise cancelling isn't really very good at all. The CMF Buds Pro 2 look like it might be a hassle just to carry around and keep out in the open all the time just to use the controls. So, the question goes like this: "If you had $100 right now to throw at ANY earbud that gets LOUD, has great BASS and helps reduce the noises of normal day to day activities--what would be your TOP 3 CHOICES (in order)?" If you would like to give a few reasons why you think this way or another--I would be interested to hear YOUR opinions as well. My motto goes something like this--"Turn that shit UP & as long as the wife, kids, and neighbors don't have to hear it, then it's within bounds". UPDATE: JULY 4, 2025-- I got bored & opened up both the TOZO 9NC & the CMF BUDS PRO 2 this afternoon. First, the CMS: These things get just loud enough for me. As a former artilleryman, I have been tested for hearings loss and let's just say I don't hear like a youthful 19-year old anymore. The bass sounded great, the noise cancelling was pretty darn good as well. Although I could turn them up all the way with the bass setting on 5 (its max), I could tell that these things were probably very close to what I'm looking for. I got them to pair with my iPhone & PC quite easily, but my PC only recognizes them as a MIC. Maybe I messed something up when I first booted them up while I was charging them with the cable connected to my PC, but now I'm sad that they don't output sound into the earbuds at all (no sound) like they did the very first time I turned them on. Does anyone know how to rectify this? If so, I'd like to hear how. As far as the CMF BUDS PRO 2 go, I like everything about them except I really have no use for the control box & I can't get sound from my PC wirelessly with bluetooth like I did with the charging cable. Next, I opened the TOZO 9NC and immediately noticed that they were very small. I couldn't figure out the right way to insert them into my ears. The TOZO app is not very good and it wasn't laid out nearly as nicely or intuitive as the one from that NOTHING offers. The sound coming from the TOZOs sounded "anemic as fuck" and I couldn't get them to sound anywhere as loud and powerful as the others. When it came time to put them back in the charging case, it took much longer than I expected because even though I thought they were in correctly I couldn't close the lid because they were actually turned around. *HERE IS MY DILEMNA:* *Although I liked the sound from the CMF BUDS PRO 2s, I am contemplating taking the next step further and just "upgrading" to either the Nothing Ear (a)s or the Soundcore Liberty NC earbuds instead.* I pretty much know that I'll like the Nothing Ears, (as long as they sound similar to the Buds Pro 2s), but I'm also willing to consider the Soundcores as well, since they have been recommended here on this thread the most. I also bought cmf buds pro 2 for 3800 rupees with discount of 500 rupees Build quality - good Sound - great for the price Charging speed & backup - good. Connectivity - good ANC - good Additional plus - hifi LDAC codec support & equaliser Cons : I found that right bud won't charge to 100 % despite putting the left and right same in charging case at same discharged level It occurs sometimes Hope with firmware update it solves Curious about others review as well Thanks

If they have the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC for $70 I think they are every bit as good as the Earfun, if not a little better because I really like the Soundcore app and I believe they have the HearID feature which tunes the EQ to your hearing and works pretty damn well (I have had several Soundcore buds so can't remember for sure if these have HearID). Also CMF Buds 2 Pro are good buds and I love the case with the multi function dial. Last I checked they were on sale for $47 on Amazon. The bass is quite heavy but you can mostly EQ it out. I've heard the newer CMF Buds 2 Plus sound better out of the box BUT they do not come with the multi function dial on the case and they cost about $20 more so I would prefer the 2 Pro and just EQing the bass down.

For loads of bass, CMF buds pro 2 are great. And they don’t cost too much either.

I have it its pretty good for the price but the battery life kind of sucks I am using it for like 3 and a half and it’s at 40% and I am not even using noise cancellation.and the noise cancellation isn’t good it’s not terrible but it’s not good but they have good sound and bass. And the software only works when the case is open or the headphones are out of the case and connected by Bluetooth so if you lost them the only way to find them is by using the find my headphones and all it does is playing some sound and if you forget them somewhere your a f*cked

Obviously way too many Apple fanboys/girls. CMF (Nothing) Buds Pro 2 are amazing value under £100 and with a unique control wheel on the case. The app is also super clean with Dirac and Spatial audio, they would easily be in the top 10 for me at any price. Sony XM are great but have premature battery failure issues. Jabra Elites are excellent if spending over £50. Samsung Buds Pro 3 are excellent under £100 with cashback offers. OnePlus and Huawei also severely underrated.

Dont get these, sound quality is bad, anc sounds like temu earbuds and the battery only lasts max 2.5 hours and then they need to charge for an hour before you can use it again. Case also sucks doesnt really ahow you when its charging nor does it react quickly

Currently experiencing this now. This month, I’ve tried - EAH-AZ100, Sony XM5, Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2, Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2, Pixel Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, Nothing Buds. I could not agree more. I’m currently testing the EAH-AZ100s against the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and Nothing Buds, and was going to make a post about it myself. I’m not sure what to think. The hype and price almost ‘ruin’ the AZ100’s. They’re just nowhere near as mind blowing as people make out, especially when you compare them to buds 1/2 or 1/3 of the price. As you said, If you put a gun to my head and asked me to pick, yes, I’d probably say the EAH-AZ100s are probably ‘best’ for the average person, but do I think they’re always the most enjoyable or best, absolutely not. I’d honestly say if I listened to 10 songs, maybe 4 of them sound best on the EAZ-AZ100s, 4 on the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and 2 on the Nothings, and the difference between the Nothing Buds having 2 points and 4, is as you said, literally, literally like 5%. I found it very hard to decide between buds, it was one of the reasons I ended up testing so many. Similarly, I thought the XM5’s were literally the worst of all the ones I mentioned above, despite being near the top in their perceived premium’ness’. I genuinely would pick the Nothing Buds 10/10 times over them. That said, I am hoping to learn how to get more out of these EAZ-AZ100’s with the EQ, I’ve tried playing around with them but not really hearing this ‘mind blowing’ ‘blow your head off’ ‘rip your head in half’ quality tbh.

Not anymore. I had 2 sets of Nothings. The newest ones and the opens. Both sets were disappointing, I gave them away awhile ago.

You can change eq to balanced, nothing buds are bland and dull sounding. No bass or trebal either

Idk man so many recommendations get thrown around on this sub it’s so hard to keep track of stuff. I just yolo’d a pair of nothing buds because of a comment on how comfy they were so we’ll see how they work out I guess 🤷‍♂️

I have had Ear a's for a few months replacing my Sennheisers CX True Wireless Buds after a bad experience with them (left bud suddenly died / ticking sound after 3 or so years). The battery life of the Nothing buds themselves is poor compared to the Senns. The left earbud charges only up to 85% and will drain down to 15% with just 2 hour use. I've already ran out of battery several times for the left bud and had to put them back in the case to recharge each time which is a bummer. I've searched online and found this was a common problem with the left earbud. I've never had this problem with the Senns, listening for extended periods without having to put them back in the case. Nothing's sound quality is good though. Would I get my next buds from Nothing? No. Senns? No. Meanwhile, I have my wired Audio Technicas for 11 years now. They're a bit dilapidated but they still work and sound great. I guess I can't expect the same longevity from any wireless buds. Let me know if there are buds that have lasted you guys in the long haul. 3 years to me, like I had with my CX True Wireless, is too short for me.
