I've had samsung buds pro once, but they never sat well in my ears. And that is important. Then I bought sony linkbuds s, they were amazing. Sat very firm in the ear, great noise cancelling. But one of the batteries got bad after only a year, lastes only 5 min. Now i have nothing ear 2, pretty good budget in ears. The noise cancelling isn't that great, but they sit very firm in the ear and have lasted 2.5 years now.

I use a Nothing Ear (2), while there is a noticeable delay in audio/image due to latency, the game i play is not critic at all. I also have some lying around KZ ZSN Pro, but don't actually connect it to the Deck.

I have the Nothing 2's. Love the sound, the fit, battery life... I hate the controls. The buttons seldom do what they're meant to do. Makes it frustrating.

Hi all, I’m looking to replace my current earbuds and wanted to get some advice before buying again. **Context:** I’ve owned both **Nothing Ear (1) and Nothing Ear (2)** and really liked the overall concept. I picked them up quite early when they weren’t as mainstream, and I was a big fan of the **skeletal/transparent design** — it felt unique and stylish compared to most other options. They also fit me really well (the multiple ear tip sizes worked well for my small ears), which is a big plus for me. However, I’ve had durability issues over time. My current pair has developed faults (case magnets failing, one earbud not charging properly), so I’m now looking for something more reliable. **What I’m looking for:** * Comfortable fit for **small ears** (very important) * Good sound quality for everyday listening * Strong build quality / reliability * Suitable for **daily use + light running** * Clean, stylish design (I do care about how they look — not a fan of bulky or overly “sporty” earbuds) **Usage:** * Music, YouTube, everyday listening * Walking, commuting * Running (Zone 2) **Budget:** Up to \~£150–£200 **What I’ve looked at so far:** * **Sony WF-1000XM5** – seem highly rated, but unsure if they’ll fit smaller ears comfortably * **Jabra Elite 8 Active** – look durable and practical, but possibly more sport-focused than I need **Things I’ve noticed:** * AirPods don’t fit my ears well * Nothing Ear fit me well and I liked the design, but reliability let them down **Questions:** * What are the best earbuds in this price range that cater for **smaller ears**? * Are the **Sony XM5 worth it** for my use case, or overkill? * Are the **Jabra Elite 8 Active** too sport-focused for everyday use? * Any earbuds with a similar **comfortable fit + stylish design** to Nothing Ear, but better durability? Appreciate any advice or suggestions👍

For gym use plus daily listening, the Sony WF-1000XM5 is a solid all-rounder . It's super comfortable, great fit, and detailed sound, plus the ANC helps in noisy gyms. If you want something lighter and more open-sounding, the Nothing Ear (2) is also a good option. It has clear mids/highs and breathable fit, just not as strong on ANC. Best move is to try them out first (fit + sound) or run some checks on [audiotones.co](https://audiotones.co) so you know which one really clicks with you.

I had both Nothing 2 & Nothing 2024, the price is too high, battery backup is considerably less as compared to others, after one year Nothing 2's battery was dead, less than one hour for backup, Nothing 2024 battery died within one year, the EMI for it lasted longer. The build is good but without a case it's scratches like there is no tomorrow, no warranty if there is any form of scratches, but the earbuds had the best fit of any I had, but I will never buy them again not worth the 8000₹ or so they ask.
