"The battery life of the Nothing buds themselves is poor compared to the Senns. ... The left earbud charges only up to 85% and will drain down to 15% with just 2 hour use. ... I've already ran out of battery several times for the left bud and had to put them back in the case to recharge each time which is a bummer. ... I've searched online and found this was a common problem with the left earbud."

r/sennheiserAccentum Open Impressions

I got mine a few hours ago so I only have been able to do some quick tests with a few songs but sound quality wise the first impressions are really good. Compared with the most similar open earbuds I have (Nothing Ear Stick) I like a bit more the Accentum's sound profile which I feel less fatiguing with more clarity on the highs with just enough bass on the default eq. Volume wise there a very significant difference: I usually drive the Nothing between 50 and 70% but with the Accentum so far I'm comfortable between 30% and 50%. A couple of downsides so far: the closing mechanism of the case feels quite flimsy and weak (definitely not satisfactory as fidget toy), especially the hinge feels cheap. The other downside: neither app (Smart Control nor Smart Control Plus) detects them which I would expect should be fixed soon with an update.

I have 2 such pairs: Nothing Ear Stick - very light and comfortable, but not stable enough for exercise. Galaxy Buds Live - comfortable and very stable for any activity. But it's a pretty old model now.

I quite like them actually. Personally have the Ear stick which are discontinued now if I'm not mistaken and they sound pretty good.

r/EarbudsTINY Ear Canals AND need good MIC quality
7 months ago

I also have tiny ear canals, so tiny that any kind of silicon tipped earbud just simply won't fit or feels very uncomfortable. Were the JBL buds and airpods woth silicone tips or semi-open? I recently took a look at a lot of semi-open buds to make a purchase. Otherwise I would suggest semi-open buds, and particularly the standard airpods (since anc don't matter you could just go for the standard airpods 4, not the ANC ones). The aipods have a good mic.  There are several JBL buds that are semi open. The JBL tune flexes come as the standard semi-open version in the box, but also interchangable silicone-tips. The mic on these are decent for the low price of 40-50$ depending on your region. The sound quality overall is passable and they have ANC, but it's basically non-existent. The samsung galaxy buds 3 also allegedly have a very good mic. The non pro version are without tips that enter your ear canals. These have also recently gone on sale for about 90$. Many do, however, claim that there is a problem with the fit. They seem to be larger than the average earbud, and this causes them to slip out for people who have smaller ears (small ears! Not ear canals!). For others the larger size seem to work better and they sit snuggly, but these seem to be for individuals with larger ears. There are other brands as well that have semi-open earbuds. Nothing ear stick is also quite good and have a decent mic. But I would warn that these are a nightmare to clean due to the mesh used on them. Eventually these get a problem with sound volume or break from trying to clean them (I had to get new ones because of this) There are of course earbuds with silicone tips that have XS sizes, but I have not looked at these since I never found any of them to work for me. A mandatory note is that there is also a very popular category of open earbuds that can also be very good, but I have never tried any of them.

Got this for free a week before warranty expired as the nothing ear stick was discontinued. Pretty happy for free upgrade and it's perfect for everyday use.

r/GalaxyS24UltraWhat are the best bluetooth earbuds under $100 that are actually supported by the S24U?

My nothing ear open and ear stick both have a low latency mode in the nothing app. I think this is a feature of most nothing and cmf earbuds.

I don't use them for gaming myself only for videos. I've had some other buds that have had audio sync issues with YouTube but my nothing ones have been excellent for audio/video sync. The ear stick I had to always turn on the low latency mode but the the ear opens I have not had to. I would check if the cmf buds have it, maybe check some YouTube reviews, but the cmf buds 2 pro appear to offer great value for money.

The Huawei Freearc also have a low latency mode in the Huawei Android app. Found this today so thought you may be interested.

I've tried many earbuds that just don't fit my ears well, even with expensive comply tips, but I finally settled on the Nothing Ear Stick and its perfect. I'm really happy with them.

I'm looking for a half in ear earbuds or like the moondrop style that supports fast pair, so I won't need an app to check the battery life. Damn I miss my lost nothing (stick), they're still the best.
