Honest opinion, I don't get the praise for their sound. So bass heavy out of the box that vocals and highs are getting lost behind. I tuned the bass out with EQ (Golden Sound can help too but EQ gives more control, 3D Audio straight up suck) while slightly boosting mids and highs, and still highs sound kinda harsh and stage is quite tight. Not what I expected.

I got OnePlus Buds 4 as a replacement for my old FreeBuds Pro 2 two weeks ago and for the twice the price sound in Pro 2 was like 1.5x better and controls were 2x better for sure. I'm kinda disappointed with Buds 4 despite everyone around praising them

Yes. OnePlus buds 4 if you want better sound quality and better mics. Liberty 4NC if you want longer battery life with ANC on or a nicer case.

I currently have the OnePlus and the earfun, so I can comment on those. If you have the extra money get the OnePlus as they are the latest tech, but if you're on the budget get the ear fun as they are still great but one plus gets them by 1 point (earfun 7.5 , oneplus 8.5)

Since you're an Apple guy, you have the money, lol, so I recommend the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, or their Buds 4, very good on both with deep bass and good sound quality. If you're budget-conscious, try the Earfun Air Pro 4. They don't look like it, but they are pound-for-pound some of the best buds you can get on the market.

OnePlus clearly put in the work here, and the Buds 4 deliver in a lot of areas — but the real question is, are they worth the extra $50–80 depending on the sale? Let’s get into it. \------------------------------------- # 🔧 Look and Build Quality I’ve gotta give OnePlus some real credit here, they came through with a better look, especially in that green colorway. It's sleek, stylish, and stands out in a world of boring black and white earbuds. Earfun gives you black (standard), navy blue (which is so dark it might as well be black), and white... but let’s be honest, white earbuds are Apple’s domain. So design-wise, OnePlus wins with personality. In terms of build quality, OnePlus did their thing again. These are smooth, lightweight, and have that "premium but not too flashy" vibe. They’re light but don’t feel cheap at all. Now the Earfuns? Yeah... they look like your standard generic earbuds. I was honestly put off by them at first because they scream "budget" just by the look. But once I gave them a listen, that all changed (more on that below). **Winner: OnePlus** **----------------------------------** # 🦻 Fit and Comfort The OnePlus Buds 4 are extremely comfortable. The lightweight design makes them basically disappear in your ears after a while. I swap out the included silicone tips for foam tips (as always), and with those, the fit is snug and stays in place. I had zero issues after a few hours of listening — no fatigue, no pressure. Earfun also does a good job here. They're lightweight too, and I never had major discomfort, but I do get more fatigue over time compared to the OnePlus buds. It's subtle, but noticeable during long sessions. So while both are good, OnePlus edges them out. **Winner: OnePlus** **---------------------------------** # 🔗 Connection This one’s not even close. OnePlus crushed it. You get Google Fast Pair, and the second I opened the case for the first time, my phone, tablet, and laptop (all on and nearby) popped up the pairing animation like its suppsoed to work. Super smooth. After the initial setup, opening the case connects you instantly, no delays. Plus, multipoint is here and it works well, even across brands (not just the same ecosystem, *cough* Samsung *cough*). Earfun, on the other hand... it’s fine. But sometimes it feels like it’s thinking about whether or not it wants to connect. Sometimes it’s fast, like 1 second. Other times, it takes 7–8 seconds and has that weird interference stutter like you're about to go out of range, even when the phone is sitting right next to it. It always connects eventually, but it’s not that "instant, confident" connection. **Winner: OnePlus** **----------------------------------** # 🎧 Sound Quality & EQ OnePlus has always been known for great sound and punchy bass, and they’ve kept that tradition going. Bass is rich, deep, and has that subwoofer-style rumble that echoes in your ears. It’s powerful, but controlled, doesn’t drown out the mids and highs. Vocals are crisp, instrumentation sounds layered, and the overall signature is energetic and fun. The “Golden Sound” feature actually works — adds about 10–15% more clarity and volume boost to your music. The Earfun Air Pro 4s? Honestly, incredible for $50. They go toe-to-toe with OnePlus in most areas. Bass is there , deep and impactful. Mids and highs are clear too, but just slightly flatter compared to the OnePlus. If you A/B test them, OnePlus has about a 10% edge in depth and clarity. The Earfuns do get louder overall, but that loudness doesn’t come with more richness, just more volume. **Winner: OnePlus (by about 10%)** **Edit update: While listening to music on the phone has been great, trying to play music on my laptop from Youtube is producing a teeny sound, I am not sure what happening here. But I reset the buds and cycleed my computer and its still the same, I can barely hear music or voices, but I can on my other buds.** **This will be concerning if this persist.** **----------------------------------** # 🔇 ANC and Transparency This is probably the second most important thing for people (or first depending on how much you commute/travel/work in noisy places). OnePlus Buds 4 have excellent ANC, especially in the low to mid ranges. I tested them with a dryer running and it completely wiped out the low hum. The only thing I could hear was the occasional metallic *clink* from a zipper. Same with YouTube’s airplane cabin noise test (played through my 500w surround setup) the rumble disappeared. High-end noises, though? That’s where it stumbled a bit. It didn’t block out my laptop keyboard typing, and café chatter came through more than I expected. Now the Earfuns? Surprisingly better at the high-end. They can block out my keyboard clicking where OnePlus couldn't, and they’re about the same when it comes to café noise. But they lag behind in low-end ANC, you’ll still hear engine hums or dryer noise faintly. Transparency Mode is good on both. OnePlus sounds a bit more natural. Earfuns can sound slightly artificial when no music is playing, but it’s not bad. **Winner: OnePlus by a small margin** **----------------------------------------** # 🎤 Mic Quality Mic quality matters a lot to me as I’m constantly on calls for work and talking to friends and family in the evening. I hate holding the phone to my ear, so my earbuds need to perform. In quiet environments, both are great. Loud, clear, no complaints. But when you throw in background noise? That’s where OnePlus pulls ahead. I tested both with YouTube “Office Sounds” playing on my surround system and using the Voice notes app and left myself voicemails. OnePlus handled it really well, my voice came through strong, and while you could hear a *hint* of background noise, it never took over. This is just a step below the black magic Samsung is doing on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Earfun... not so much. As soon as that office noise kicked in, my voice got buried. You could tell I was talking, but good luck making out every word. **Winner: OnePlus with background noise (Equal in quiet environments)** **---------------------------------** # 🧠 Final Thoughts So what’s the verdict? The OnePlus Buds 4 are a strong 9/10. These are some of the most complete earbuds I’ve used under $100. If you already own the Earfun Air Pro 4, I wouldn’t say you need to run out and upgrade , the difference is about 10–15% in overall experience, so not night and day. But if you’re choosing between the two for your first buy? I’d say spend the extra and get the OnePlus Buds 4. Right now, they’re around $100 on Amazon with a coupon, while the Earfuns sit at about $55. If you're on a tight budget, the Earfuns are still the best $50 buds in the game, no question. But OnePlus is showing what a little extra polish and R&D can get you. Personally, I’m going to hold off and wait for the OnePlus Buds Pro 4, those should be absolute killers. But I’m also curious to see how Earfun responds with the Air Pro 5, so that battle will definitely be one to watch. # TL;DR * **OnePlus Buds 4**: Worth the hype. Great all-around buds for $100. * **Earfun Air Pro 4**: Still the best budget buds. If you already have these, no need to upgrade. * If you’re buying your first pair and can afford the extra, go with the **OnePlus Buds 4**.

This guy has an extensive spreadsheet of buds he's tested. Personally the Airpods Pro 2, Bose QC Ultra and the One Plus buds 4 all have excellent ANC, the sony's are good, but they are overpriced, the controls suck and I mean suck and the soud quality isn't all that. When i'm in the car with my kids, the Bose do the best job keeping noise out. APPs are great for concerts, live events like games. I just got the one plus' so I haven't tested them extensively but they are better than the one plus 3 pros which I have tested and they are also quite good.

They are one of the best around, but lack in battery life, APX rating, overall durability and kind of have an average to good sound signature. The main downside is they are REALLY expensive and the other sub $100 buds just plain outperform them in a lot of areas. I'm currently using the One Plus Buds 4 and I think they are phenomenal.

ANC will always effect the sound profile, but a lot of manufacturers simply do not prioritize it. The Air Pods Pro are a great example of ANC minimally effecting the sound stage as middle tier as they sound is. The 1+ pro 3 and buds 4 also do an excellent job with this and there are a few others. The Pro 3 def. has better separation, but this idea that a device reproduces true to the source is such an audiophile is really overplayed imo. Do I want my mix to sound like the engineers in the studio who eq'd it to sound good on a stock radio in a 2004 Hyundai Elantra? No, Studio mixes typically aren't mastered to sound good on every device and each human ear is distinct so custom eqing is crucial. It's great to listen to a track on a new device and think it's flat or "true to source" but again does a true flat mix really exist? the vast majority of consumers don't want this type of sound. Because Instruments put out a dynamic range of different frequencies the mixing process requires an engineer to eq the tracks to fit into the mix. If you want it to sound like a live mix or a concert mix from a soundboard, I can get on board with that. so let's stop with all this flat sound nonsense. EQ your devices how you like them. The real factor for me is how capable the drivers are and how tunable the device is. The Techniques are capable but overrated and wildly overpriced. IMO any bud over $150 is just stealing your money. What I remember about the az100 besides that they only did a few things well was they were pretty tunable. If you want a truly great all around bud, with exciting sound, The 1+ buds pro 3 and buds 4 are pretty outstanding.

So I've had the OnePlus Buds Z2, which I really liked (they just had kinda poor battery life -- even with ANC/transparency off). Ended up getting the 2nd gen OnePlus Buds Pro, cause I lost one of the earbuds from the Z2s & I really liked the arbor green color. I ended up really liking them and would even go as far as saying they *were* my favorite wireless earbuds for general use cases overall: 10-11 hr battery life per charge with ANC/transparency off, superb sound quality when paired to my OnePlus 8T & using LDHC, and multi-point + full feature support on iOS (just stuck with AAC only). As time has gone on, the only real thing I can complain about is the slow degradation of the batteries to where average battery life is now closer to about 8-9ish hrs (I've used them daily for like 2 years, so it makes sense). I do have to add that I originally decided to get the Buds Pro 2 *only* after I saw them on sale for around $100 (what can I say, I can be cheap lol). That being said, when I saw the new 4th Gen OnePlus Buds, I was kinda concerned it would be an overall downgrade due to them not being "Pro" models. That was absolutely *not* the case, and I'm even convinced that they wipe the floor with my (admittedly really good in their own right) Status Between 3ANCs. When tuned properly (or just however you prefer your sound) with the good ol' LDHC codec, they fire out bass like sonic cannons in your ears. And the mids/highs are equally as potent, making the soundstage overall feel damn near ethereal to me. You can truly notice the 2 separate drivers in each earbud, so much so that it's hard for me to grasp how they sound better (to me) than the 3 drivers in the Status earbuds I mentioned. And even better, the battery life is actually better than the Buds Pro 2s when they were new (w/o ANC or transparency I've clocked like 12-13 hrs, at least over the last few shifts I've had at work). They're also still exceptionally good using AAC on an iPhone (in this case a 16 PM), and as previously mentioned basically all of the settings/features aside from the Hi-Fi codec are available in the HeyMelody app for iOS. Anyway, I think OnePlus really hit the mark with these earbuds. $100 for something like...*this* feels unheard of. And I'm no stranger to audio/different models of TWS products either. One of my autistic fixations happens to be hoarding several different pairs of earbuds/headphones lol, sometimes just solely for one particular thing that a pair/headset happens to have & that'll be the only reason I ever end up using it. My 2nd gen AirPod Pros still have the crown for ANC/transparency (though the Galaxy Buds FE I also have come pretty close to the same transparency level), however just based on directly comparing the two on my 16 PM the OnePlus Buds 4 still have the better sound hands down. I will have to see about messing around with Apple Music to see how much of a difference there is with lossless audio on the AirPods vs the OnePlus ones paired with my 8T, so I can use them with LDHC to listen to lossless audio on Tidal. Because the entirety of my current experience has just been from listening to music on YT Music, and it unfortunately caps the bitrate to what's essentially AAC/256kbps under the best conditions iirc But yeah, TLDR the OnePlus Buds 4 are pretty damn great regardless of what phone you have, as long as it's not super old or too "low end". And what I mean by that is, they'll sound great as long as whatever android device you pair them with has the option to enable A2DP hardware offload (since they will only support AAC on non-OnePlus devices) & I'm sure most folks will agree that this setting improves AAC quality on android by quite a bit.

In an overall perspective, the OnePlus has better sound technical performance (can't speak too much about sound tuning since it's personal preference but both are good out of the box), their ANC is slightly better when it comes to blocking out higher frequencies, transparency mode is more clear, with less white noise hiss. In terms of comfort (subjective), I still find OnePlus buds to be the better option because they fit more shallow than the earfun.

Its honestly not that big of a deal. I'm able to test and use earbuds $200+ but still settle on cheaper options like the OnePlus buds 4 or buds pro 3 because they still do a decent job overall and can get them sounding very close to premium earbuds with EQ tuning (technical performance is obviously worse but not gonna be as noticeable with daily use opposed to close listening). sessions)

Ok so I've had these for about a week now and here's my full honest review for anyone looking to buy. I upgraded from the oneplus buds 3 so I will be also doing a comparison. Sound quality is excellent, very clear trebles and punchy bass. With the hey melody app you get an in ear sound test which then creates the best EQ for your hearing, then using the 3D sound tech it bumps up the richness in sound by a substantial amount. Compared to the oneplus buds 3 it's very difficult to tell the difference however but this could be because my phone only allows AAC codec and I'm streaming spotify (320kbps) so the quality is lower than what they are built to handle. If you are a true audiophile then using FLAC with the oneplus buds LHDC 5.0 codec will show their true potential. Active noise cancelling is really impressive, I can have a fan blowing next to me at full power and I barely notice it. Train sounds are drastically reduced, however sometimes on the london tube the screeching can pierce through. I'd say it is a 30% increase in noise cancelling than the buds 3. Transparancy mode is still there and even has an adaptive mode which I've tested a couple of times and it seems to work well. However I'd probably use the transparancy mode over it if you really just have to eavesdrop on strangers conversations. Battery life, now this is the only place I think they fall short. Still provides an impressive 18 hours total with the charging case with ANC on (over 3 days use for me when testing, but should easily last a week in between charges). This however does fall short of what is advertised at 24 hours with ANC on. The earbuds themselves last a good 6 hours with ANC on also which stands true with what they advertise. Again this is relatively the same with the buds 3 although the buds 3 seem to last a bit longer with the charging case. Design and fit is very good. Feels more premium than the buds 3 and the flattened sides of the earbuds make it much easier to adjust volume and use the touch controls. The case is nice and weighty but the buds themselves are the lightest buds I've ever had. Not sure if its necessarily a bad thing as they keep in place with my ears however if you're a runner this may make them easier to slip out but on the otherhand I've dropped them once and as they're so light they likely won't damage easily. Voice calling is great, had a conversation in the wind and my brother said it was extremely clear. Very quick to charge, full charge takes an hour and a half. 10 minute charge to get you 3/4 hours use. No wireless charge however if you're into that. Overall 9/10 buds. Great value for money.

The oneplus buds 4 feel too noisy to me. Life note 3 had this intimate detailed sound that was never irritating or noisy to ears. Regretting my purchase so far but will give it some time and see if things improve. And yes, I’ve also tried the golden sound. It didn’t improve much for me.

Fuck everything and save your $300. Save the remaining as you don't need to spend this huge amount on wireless earbuds— only you're going for an IEMs that are audiophile friendly. I'd say get yourself the **OnePlus Buds 4** while you still can. Don't use their official site to purchase the thing — but from external online apps like Shopee, TikTok or AliExpress if there is any for a lesser price. Chinese or Global version, does it matter? I got mine from Hong Kong and it was from the May 2025 build version. But honestly? I'm very happy with it. The battery is long lasting for my usage (no, I'm not saying it can go for weeks without charging w/o charging the buds in the case— but surprisingly it can last me a solid 8 hours on average), and charging is no problem as I can charge at night when I go to sleep. The only downsides: 1. The fact that it has no wireless charging, many others see this as a suffering but me personally I never used wireless charging before so I'm good with this. 2. The case is cheap, a knockoff and that the Pro 3 is much better overall. Here's my opinion: I don't like the leather texture on the Pro 3s and also the metallic matte on the buds themselves. The Buds 4 however, is much more of my style really with a complete matte finish with no shine. 3. Lots of influencers getting sponsors from OnePlus as usual. The hype is insane, but NOT that crazy as it's just been released recently. 4. Adaptive mode is fucking useless, just utilize Transparency and ANC in general. 5. Transparency mode blocks out wind noises, which reduces the overall ambient experience (+voices are less heard or a bit muffled) — but even all this, its got one of the best transparency mode for its price. 6. Hi-Res Mode is just for advertising, I noticed no difference but if you do somehow then please tell me so. (It appears that it drains battery faster? So not worth using it. Using 3D Audio already makes things a whole lot better imo) Now here's your main gig. The sound quality and the ANC themselves. Holy fucking shit, I kid you not, you're really gonna love the 1+ Buds 4 because it is superior in my opinion. Sound quality is only good **AFTER** the earbuds are applied with an equalizer on your mobile device. The volume loudness is good also, as tested on my laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300) at only 40% I can hear everything clearly and loudly. Anything more than that OR 100% will make me go deaf. These earbuds also don't have any buzzing or hissing when you put 'em at max volume. But you will go deaf though, so beware of that. With its built-in earbud features: - OnePlus 3D Audio - Golden Sound (fit with your ear canals) - In-Ear Detection (pause videos or music when you take them off) — surprisingly good method for detection than other wireless earbuds imo - Camera Control (while Camera app is open, double tap neither earbuds to take a selfie +timer) - Customizable swipe controls (2 options for this, one is volume control and the other is for switching between previous and next tracks for music) - Lots of fucking customization for the earbud controls (double tap, single tap, triple tap, hold to change noise mode in between) If you're looking for one of, if not the best "audiophile" equalizer to fit your OnePlus Buds 4 then I highly recommend you send me a DM right away and I'll give you the necessary steps into upgrading your existing earbuds. So what are you waiting for? Go and grab them now while you still can. The prices will keep going up as time goes by. I am not sponsored by OnePlus as I'm just a consumer and a user. I just got into the OnePlus brand recently and I think I'm in love with their brand. Duh it can't compete with Bose, Apple, Sony or other brands that are more expensive than this. But I'd say it's worth it in the end. Much like the EarFun Air 4— you should definitely give the OnePlus Buds 4 a try for sure.

Don't use their official site to purchase the thing — but from external online apps like Shopee, TikTok or AliExpress if there is any for a lesser price. I ordered mine from Shopee and was able to get it for $80 which is a steal considering its retail price is $144-ish. Chinese or Global version, does it matter? I got mine from Hong Kong and it was the Global version— May 2025 build version. But honestly? I'm very satisfied with it. 5. Transparency mode blocks out wind noises, which reduces the overall ambient experience (+voices are less heard or a bit muffled) — but even all this, its got one of the best transparency modes for its price. 6. Hi-Res Mode is just for advertising, I noticed no difference but if you do somehow then please tell me so. (It appears that it drains the battery faster? So not worth using it. Using 3D Audio already makes things a whole lot better imo) 7. Terrible controls (if you're doing jump jacks, I'd be careful. No, they are sturdy and don't tend to fall off easily from your ears— it's just that the control triggers like double-tap, etc...) Now here's your main gig. With its built-in earbud features: - OnePlus 3D Audio - Golden Sound (fit with your ear canals) - In-Ear Detection (pause videos or music when you take them off) — surprisingly good method for detection than other wireless earbuds imo - Camera Control (while the Camera app is open, double tap neither earbuds to take a selfie +timer) - Customizable swipe controls (2 options for this, one is volume control and the other is for switching between previous and next tracks for music) - Lots of fucking customization for the earbud controls (double tap, single tap, triple tap, hold to change noise mode in between) If you're looking for one of, if not the best "audiophile" equalizer to fit your OnePlus Buds 4 then I highly recommend you send me a DM right away and I'll give you the necessary steps into upgrading your existing earbuds. So what are you waiting for? Go and grab them now while you still can. The prices will keep going up as time goes by. I am not sponsored by OnePlus as I'm just a consumer and a user. I just got into the OnePlus brand recently and I think I'm in love with their brand. It's way better than Baseus if you're asking me. And they're a Chinese brand as well. I returned my Baseus BP1 Pro but it was cheaper ($28). Of course it can't compete with Bose, Apple, Sony or other brands that are more expensive than this. But I'd say it's worth it in the end. Much like the EarFun Air 4— you should definitely give the OnePlus Buds 4 a try for sure. It has everything you need for daily use— and yes I'm talking about outdoors as well like running or brisk walking. Great ANC performance (-55dB noise cancelling), doable transparency mode (no need to take them off for daily commute), audiophile-level sound quality (if equalizer is set up correctly that is) and decent battery life (I think it's better than OnePlus' Buds Pro 3). In a nutshell, OnePlus Buds 4 is literally Pro 3s but slightly cheaper and has if not— the same features as that and longer battery life. I also experience no delay when watching YouTube Shorts or YouTube videos in general. It also has Game Mode that can be toggled via earbud controls.

They sound mediocre out of the box… They lack clarity and music simply sounds veiled. You’re not right or wrong in saying you prefer it. Just realize that other people have different preferences. I found plenty of earphones that are cheaper than the AZ100’s that sounded clearer and more resolving of smaller details due to their frequency response not being tuned to have excessive bass and recessed lower treble. Currently, the OnePlus Buds 4 blow the AZ100’s out of the water in sound for me. Much clearer sounding with tighter and richer sounding bass. I have the Status Pro X on preorder and can’t wait to try those out next month.

You shouldn’t have to get “used” to a sound. If you don’t like it, you don’t like it. Use an EQ and fix it or move on. Too bad the EQ available within the application for the AZ100 is very limited and does not fix the sound for me. But this is why there are tons of options to choose from within the earphone marketplace when one option doesn’t work for you. Thankfully, my option at the moment is the OnePlus Buds 4. They excel in all areas and sound better than the AZ100 ever could with its included app.

Decrease your budget and get the One Plus buds 3 pros. These buds are amazing in every area that matters most. Sound quality, battery life, comfort and call quality. ANC and pass-through are both very good as well. All my high dollar buds are collecting dust. If wireless charging isn't important, the One Plus buds 4 just came out. Best $100 you'll ever spend on buds.

For the price I'd still go air pro. But I recently bought the oneplus buds 4 and I gotta say, the sound quality and bass reproduction is so clean. Using a Samsung phone though doesn't allow me to use the ldhc code so I've been using my xiaomi 15 for the gym and such to capitalize on them.

So I have the nothing ear 2024s and I will actually say what he said was right. There's a very clear difference in that the Ear's vocals and in general how instruments and such sound are quite a bit clearer. The OnePlus has a nicer bass that is fuller. It also has way better anc and transparency which probably does make up for the sound.

I think the Buds 4 smokes it out of the water. Buds 4 are comparable to Ear 2024s

Had the same experience, but I only realized by comparing my Nothing Ear 2024s with the OnePlus Buds 4. The vocals are muddier on the OPB4 along with instruments. Ear's are much more clear and vibrant. Bass is much fuller on OPB4 though

I don't think they are worth it personally. Anc and transparency are quite a bit worse. I think they are a tad quieter too. You might as well get the OPBP3

Thanks for this comparison - both of these were my choices to replace Anker Space A40 and I went with OnePlus Buds 4 - love them. Compared to my previous Ankers they have awesome sound, ANC, transparency, mic for calls. Happy with my purchase!

I know right. I bought them as an upgrade to Gen 2. Honestly the Gen 2 is far far better and I am feeling so bad of spending extra money to get something so cheap. Even one plus buds I tried is better than this. Airpods 4 suck with flat sound

I have at home right now: Airpods because I sold my iPhone. Oneplus buds 3 Pro because I bought Oneplus 12. Today I bought Samsung Buds 3 Pro because I bought S24U yesterday. I will sell the Airpods because I don't own anything after 15+ years from Apple and feel right now that there will be nothing more from them. Oneplus 12 I read a lot about on Reddit and YT and it would be a mobile that was the best of all on the market (that's the impression I got) but in my opinion the reality is something else. I sold fairly new Oneplus 12 after 5 days and Oneplus Buds because they felt cheap and sounded bad. I have to say that the Oneplus Buds sounded much better with the S24U but still sold them because the sound I was not happy with. Today I tested and bought the Samsung Buds 3 Pro because they sound great together with the S24U. I have some much more expensive in-ear both closed and open back headphones here at home and can compare a bit, but the Samsung Buds feel solid and sound quite nice.

I bought some OnePlus Buds for my partner as she is deaf in one ear and does not need a super expensive set, and they're actually really good. You need to download the app to get proper use of them, but once you do the noise cancelling and the ease of the touch system make them really high quality.
