What are everyone's favorite \_partial\_ in-ear buds? I was very happy with Plantronics BackBeat models over the years. They've stopped making them, and working used ones are basically impossible to find (to be fair, Backbeats did have some quality control problems). Even the last incantation of those, the BackBeat Fit 3100s, are nowhere to be found. I don't like those rubbery buds that close your ear. They are really uncomfortable. I tried the Shokz Openrun Pro 2. It was awful. \_Everything\_ drowned out the sound. The partial in-ear design of the Backbeats was plenty to hear important ambient sounds while still delivering rich sound. I sent the Openrun Pro 2 set back. I really would like a set with connected buds which makes them harder to lose, but I'll cave on that, since no one seems to want those anymore.
r/XXRunning • To runners, what are the best headphones for running you've tried or heard of so far? ->Ditto! I've tried MANY options and these are the best. Sound is not great. After several hours, they can get quite uncomfortable (maybe compounded by sunglasses). Another option: Plantronics Backbeat Fit. (I have used and liked the older "around the back of the head" ones. Never tried the separate newer "true wireless" ones.)
r/cycling • What earbuds to get? ->Plantronics back beat fit. But they are older and hard to find. 2 pairs on 8 years, they last! No need to return them against your warranty yearly like that one brand that everyone recommends. 🤣
r/Marathon_Training • Best Running Headphones ->I actually don't care for my shockz. The hard part over the ear hurts my ears/head when I add in sunglasses and a visor or hat. And they don't fit right with a winter hat. I have Plantronics Backbeat Fit and really like them. I also feel like their battery is better than my Shockz.
r/running • It's time for new earphones, please help with recommendations ->I'm a few days old here, but plantronics backbeat fit. I went through the earphones issue almost 10 years ago. Do (did) lots of running, including marathons. Needed Bluetooth, resistance to rain and comfy to wear for extended periods. Also not falling out. These meet all requirements. They have literally never fallen out, including during the pandemic where I was running 30+ miles a week. TBF I have now bought two as the first did give up eventually. But I got a good 5+ years out of them and my second pair is still going strong. The audio quality is really good too. I think price was about £80.
r/BuyItForLife • Can someone recommend me a pair of ear hook style Bluetooth headphones? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
